A special spot with a ton of delicious treats. My wife and I saw the fresh waffle cones being made, and asked if we could just buy one without ice cream (alongside some other delicious chocolates). They happily obliged. It was so delicious!

Busy store lots of sweet choices. The lemon sorbet was so refreshing shouldve got two scoops. Prices were reasonable too.

I love candy/ chocolate/ ice creams shops. So Kilwins hit the spot. Fresh waffles made in front of us. Very wide variety of ice cream. They also have a variety of different chocolate items and fudge. If you live chocolate or caramel covered apples this is also your place. Perfect place for a snack or dessert. Was very happy to have stumbled upon this shop. The chocolate covered Oreos are my favorite and they had a wide variety. Must place to go!

Best place to stop for ice cream and confections in New Orleans!I recently visited this hole in the wall and it literally felt like walking into a modern Wonka Factory. The ambiance and smell is so alluring, with friendly employees ready to help and answer all questions. I was in awe at all the flavors and textures they have to offer. BUT the item that caught my eye were the candied apples. They look absolutely delicious and taste so fresh! I had to have one. I didnt see any apple that caught my eye for me to choose. I wanted something different, so I asked. Lucy and Derek heard my request and didnt blink an eye. My caramel, white chocolate, drizzled with white and milk chocolate, sprinkled pecans apple was created with love, and tasted like it too. Thank you Kilwins New Orleans! Lucy and Derek, Thank you!! Yall are the BEST!

Went on sunday night and they were super busy! staff was great though and kept the line moving. they even handed out menus in the line while you waited and would check back in on you. they also had 2 separate lines—1 for ice cream 1 for fudge which also kept things moving quickly and smoothly. my cookies & cream was delicious!

Great ice cream, pralines, and chocolate! Customer service was also excellent! A guy with dark hair named Sam(?) was very friendly and helped us to pick out our desserts. It was only my second time trying pralines and learned that they’re supposed to taste moist as opposed to hard and dry. The ice cream that I got was also delicious! I heard they also have chocolate covered marshmallows. The marshmallows are freshly made.

1 star - for cleanness and how nicely organized the place was! Everything is layout in front of you in different sections.2- star - for the price, you get a very big portion, we got one cone and a waffle sundae and we could barely finish it!!3 star - so many ice cream flavors and so many different fudge choices. We tried strawberry, coconut and the chocolate fudge. They were all equally amazing. The fudge was the best tho4 star- is for customer service!! Everyone was so kind and helpful. From the time we walked in to saying goodbye when we left. They invited us to try out their fudge and the guy by the ice cream was really funny! He allowed us to try a few flavors as we were unsure. The lady by the baking side was super kind when asked about the strawberries 🍓

Love Kilwins! The staff at this location are so helpful! I had a couple types of fudge and the superman ice cream. All the items’ sweetness were perfectly balanced. This is a nice spot to get a gift as well. They have a massive selection of nicely package treats. I encourage you to stop in when you can.

Ducked into the Shops at Jax Brewery (2nd floor) and first smell was of the Waffle cones from Kilwins on the first floor. I am familiar with Kilwins from near home in Florida but did not know there was one here. Had Key Lime Pie ice cream and Lemon Sorbet on a waffle cone. Very good surprise treat while out walking.

Been a tradition to bring my family here everytime we visit NOLA, its become our second home. The trips are never complete until we have made a visit to this specific Kilwins. The last time we visited my wife picked up several of their delicious truffles, and several of their hand dipped pretzel sticks, which never made it back home because they were so delicious, also, it seemed that my wife had no idea that she had picked them for me. The atmosphere is always family friendly here expect to be welcomed in with southern hospitality abound. Well be back yall!

The service was totally awesome. I had a scoop of toasted coconut ice cream and bought some fudge.The space was very clean and well maintained. They could do well to have extra seating; they have a counter with 6 stools.

This is a very pleasant place to try out the ice cream’s and other sweet treats. My kids loved it and the way they have to split everything is very lively and colorful. I will definitely be swinging by again next time I am in New Orleans and try more things.

Got a caramel apple with peanuts for $7.99 (which is a little pricey for a caramel apple). Ended up paying $34 for 4 caramel apples and one small candy. But I get it, new orleans - a city full of tourists. But the service received was disappointing. Very very rude staff. Will never come again. Dont like to deal with rude people.

Kilwins has become a tradition for us to visit during our New Orleans vacations. The staff may need to cheer up a bit, but if you can get passed that,, their ice cream and treats are amazing. Try the Superman ice cream, you will not be disappointed.

One of my favorite in New Orleans. Will definitely go again and try something new. They have a lot of variety in terms of chocolates and customization. Great shakes and ice cream flavors as well. Nice, courteous and quick staff doesnt let you wait for long time. They also have small sit-in tables to enjoy your Ice cream or treat. Very nice place.

Some of the best ice cream Ive ever had in a waffle cone perfectly crafted. Seriously, this ice cream is made in-store and is worth a stop. I forgot to take a picture when I was there. Try it out if youre in New Orleans because it is Louisianas only location. Worth it!

Awful experience. I entered 40 minutes before closing time. They had a line of people waiting. A woman behind the counter screamed at me were closed leave and Shut the door!. I have never been so disrespected in my entire life. Especially in the south and especially in New Orleans! I will never go to this place ever again. You lost a potential customer.

Coming from Toronto, we have almost, every time passed by a sweet shop, where they make fudge and always wondered what it would taste like. We were at New Orleans for a short trip with friends and discovered Kilwins.Must say one of the best Fudge and Ice Cream shop we have ever come across - The atmosphere is amazing, the staff were super nice and allowed us to sample almost everything . We couldnt help but bring back some delicious fudge back to Toronto. A superb experience indeed and a must place to visit if you are in the area.

Nice ice cream parlour and candy shop in NOLA. I took the fudge brownie, single scoop in waffle cone. The waffle cones are good and freshly made. The ice cream is fine, usual, nothing to die for. The candies and the fudge seems good. Though I did not try much. They don’t have any sitting arrangements though.

Stopped in for some Pralines and they were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I purchased from 3 different vendors and theirs were by far THE BEST! Skip the other locations and stop here to sooth your sweet tooth!

Swwet tooth overload. We had a pecan turtle and a chocolate/caramel covered apple. The waiter even cut it so we could eat it much easier. Very tasty, will visit again if we are in NOLA.

We stopped here after a nice walk through the French Quarter. We ordered an apple pie ice cream for $5, and it was delicious. The line was long but it was a very short wait for our ice cream.

One of the best chocolate brownie ice cream we have had! Mint ice cream was 4/5. Kids loved it. We got chocolate brownie ice cream in a bowl and mint ice cream in a waffle cone.

The chocolate and toasted coconut ice cream is amazing! If youre not a chocolate fan, dont worry; there are a lot of other flavors from which to choose. There were some stools lining one of the store walls; but there wasnt much seating available inside the store. Dont let that deter you. Its probably a COVID safety measure. The employees are friendly and will have your order ready in no time. You can have a cake cone, waffle cone, waffle bowl or (inedible) bowl to-go. The waffle cone and bowls are made onsite. You can smell them from a block away; and they smell amazing. I didnt make it past the ice cream counter but Im sure I saw candies and other goodies as I exited the store. Kilwins, Ill be back!

When I walked in, the first thing I thought was This place is beautiful!. We got some ice cream and a few different flavors of fudge. The taste was amazing! We went back a second time on our short trip to New Orleans. The staff here was great. They were nice, helpful, and patient with us. It was hard to decide what we wanted given all the wonderful choices. Definitely a pricey place. I recommend dropping in and trying something if you come to New Orleans.

What a shop! If youre looking for some amazing fudge, chocolates or ice cream, all made on sight before your eyes, this is the place. Some very nice gift ideas and unusual products too, like the shredding drinking chocolate or the 10 pound chocolate bars. Definitely worth a stop in... The beignet photo was accidental btw, its from Cafe du Monde (another necessary New Orleans carb stop 100 feet away).

If you are going to lock the doors at 8:45, please change your business hours to 8:45. I live here so it wasnt the worst thing for me, but I witnessed a family get very upset. The dad explained to the employee that they were leaving in the morning, and that getting Kilwins had become a family tradition. The employee told the man he didnt care, and wasnt going to serve him or anyone else.Im am very sad that I witnessed this scenario. I work in the quarter, and Ive taken many of my guests to Kilwins, and I suggest it to my rides as we pass. I guess I am going to have to give Abbotts a try.

Keep it moving! The milkshake was very watery. I have ordered the ice cream before and it was good, but the milkshake was not as thick as I would have liked.

You can smell the treats from the street. The air is practically edible. Its a bit pricey, as many gourmet sweet shops tend to be ($$$), but the servers are polite and patient.

Love some chocolate! Some of the best chocolate that you can get. I also feel that there butter pecan ice cream tops that of baskin Robbins. I personally like the dark chocolate, but my husband is a pecan snapper kind of guys. Both are delicious so you can’t go wrong. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and in the heart of the French quarters. Stop in and grab a treat... take something home if it’s not to hot to carry it around before it melts.
