The attention paid to each and every customer, including a very minor one such as I, is exemplary. Recently I arrived to pick up a small repair item but the gentleman who would normally have served me was otherwise occupied. Noticing that I was left standing and waiting, the owner of the store personally and most graciously assisted me himself, an extraordinary gesture.Then I escorted a friend to the second floor tableware department where she wanted to inspect various pieces comprising a certain pattern of dinnerware. My friend made absolutely clear to the sales associate that she would not be purchasing through this store, but that she was just inspecting the pieces in order to place an order through a remote bridal registry. The sales associate could not have been more helpful and courteous if she were about to be making the largest sale of the year.The atmosphere at Friend & Co is relaxed, professional, and never supercilious. It is a real pleasure to visit and to do business with this establishment.

Ken Friend and his business was hands down the best experience I had finding a diamond. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time. I spent hours in the Diamond District in Metarie and a few other Uptown jewelers but it became clear very quickly that he had my best interest in mind over them. We were able to get the largest diamond in our budget from this Jeweler. He worked with my budget and nothing else in the city could compare to the cost to quality ratio. The dog is very cute, too! I could not recommend this location more!

Talk about exceptional service! I ordered a Breitling watch online for my husband and sure enough it was a bobo website. They were taking forever to ship it to me and would never answer their phones. I only had a week to get it so I would have it in time. I called Friends and Company and spoke with Danny. In the matter of only a few DAYS, He had ordered the watch for me, got it to his store and overnighted it to me (and did not charge me extra for it)! Not only did I get the exact watch I wanted, but he gift wrapped it, enrolled it for its warrenty protection and gave me a very good price. On top of that, I never met him, and I live hundreds of miles away! They are very trustworthy and I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Thank you again for your kind service!

Bar none the best jeweler in New Orleans. And as a person who has traveled I can tell you Friend and Company is one the best jewelry retailers in the world and nothing superior, at best equal. They handled repairs for my Breitling watch and I would travel back to New Orleans just to have them handle repairs again if necessary. Their home decore section is Manhattan level and estate jewelry is hand selected. I recommend if youre in the area to visit Friend and Company to see what they have.

Friendly staff replaced my watch battery. It cost $15 which I think was a bit pricey, but they were friendly. Good on them.

I heard the story on Instagram about how this unprofessional Lilah person likes to harass local business and curse out their employees. Apparently, she would rather have Walmarts and Ikeas everywhere with robot slave employees than local talent. BEWARE OF THE LILAH!

Torn between 2 and 3 stars. Ken was super nice, however, all of my paperwork was incorrect. Ive been up there a couple times to fix it, but I keep getting incorrect certificates for my diamond. Also, the diamonds in the band fell out after just 2 days of ownership. On a positive note, Ken was friendly and willing to fix things. The other staff can be rude.

An amazing selection and a wonderful staff

I had a very close friend of mine pass away and was looking for some cremation jewelery in the form of a pendant. I looked all over the internet and found that nothing was to my liking. I remembered working for Friend and Co. years back when I was with Duraclean. So I went over and introduced myself . David was very nice and recommended this nice fluer de lis cast in 18k gold. I liked the idea and went with it. It took a couple of weeks to complete but he did it and what a beauty worth every penny. The staff was very nice and I highly recommend them to anyone who asks as I show off the piece made by David to people who see and admire it. I am so greateful that I was able to keep it local and am satisfied with my purchase.
