My waxer did a great job and was so kind- I would give the waxing service 5 stars. The reason why I’m giving 2 stars is because of the man checking me out after my service. He was extremely rude to the lady checking out in front of me, being short with her and talking down to her. Then during my experience he did the same thing with an extremely rude tone and seemed to belittle me. His name was Hanson (I think).

First off the atmosphere is energetic and secondly you are In and out which I love. It was my first time being waxed period and I must say take the dive. No matter how you feeling treat yourself they are awesome.

I always get nervous and shy to get a wax but Megan could not have made me more comfortable. She was so professional but also made me feel like her friend AND it was practically pain free! I barely felt anything thanks to her technique. The office itself was incredibly clean, everyone was friendly, but Megan in particular really solidified me to always use this location and request her as my specialist. What a great experience, thank you!!!!

Came here for my first Brazilian wax ever. Jade was my wax specialist. It was fast, pretty painless and she did a great job. I was in and out within 20 minutes. They offer lots of products to help with after care.

Unfortunately I went here to get my brows done and it did not end well. I love the service and the people are great, but half of one of my brows is basically gone now. The woman filled it in with pencil before I saw so I didn’t notice until I went home and washed my face. I wish she would have just told me while I was there instead of trying to hide it.Now I have to fill it in constantly until it grows back all the way...I usually don’t write reviews but it really messed up how my face looks.. don’t think I’ll be getting my eyebrows waxed ever again

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Today was the first time Ive had a brazilian wax and Jade was amazing. She talked me through the process and distracted me. I was also running late and they accommodated my tardiness. Ill definitely be checking out the European Wax Centers near my area.

They got me in same day and have very professional, friendly and comforting staff, as well as good prices. Go see Ireland. Shes amazing. Will go again.

Jade does a fantastic job. Every time I see her shes kind, professional, and so so friendly. She makes you feel extremely comfortable and her waxing skills are spectacular. European Wax was highly recommended by a friend of mines. I read the reviews and figured I would give them a chance. The uptown location was very convenient, easy to find and not far from where I live. I read about Meghan being a great esthetician. I requested her and yes she most definitely was professional, gentle, informative and was a great salesman. I enjoyed her services and look forward to returning on a continuous basis.

The front desk are the funnest, most sweet people! Love my waxer, too. It’s never awkward, except when I pretend to be interested in the products they are trying to pitch to me after the service that I never buy😅 haha

Ireland is freakin awesome! Following her from the Harvey office, will go anywhere she goes.. She has made every single session very comfortable and has put me at ease since day 1. The front office staff is superb with the best cheerful vibes!

She’s really cool and always has brain stimulating conversation to take your mind off the wax. She encouraged me to get waxed in areas that I was fearful of doing before. The woman and man at the desk and my waxer (Meghan is her name I think) were nice so I enjoyed the customer service. However I did not enjoy them trying their hardest to add on services or trying to make me buy products or their wax packages. It seemed as though they were more concerned w/selling me something than actually getting me checked in and getting the service done. Then upon getting home, I noticed I still hair in some areas which was very annoying considering the fact that they’re kinda expensive compared to other waxing places so I’m very unhappy to say the least.

This place was sooooo good! I’m from Dallas and was just visiting New Orleans for my birthday. This was my first time at a European Wax Center but my second time getting a Brazilian wax, and it was wonderful. David at the front desk was so sweet and he talked to me like I was his best friend. Not only did he educate me on the products before I got my wax but he also wrote down a bunch of good places for me to visit while I’m down here. Alexandra was my wax specialist and she was super gentle and talked to me about everything she was using. She was so fast, I think I was back there for 10 minutes and I was done. She did a wonderful job, my results were perfect! When I visit New Orleans again I’ll definitely be back here.

The best waxing experience I ever had! Ive tried different waxers over the years and theyre all great. A bit of advice: Dont be afraid to get the Brazilian service. The fear is all in your head and its not as bad as you think... the results are worth it!!

I was unable to get services requested despite booking an online appointment 2 days in advance, confirming it before arrival and still waiting for over 40 minutes. No one addressed the delay until I walked up to the desk and I was asked to wait again after the 1st 10 minute wait had turned into a 20 minute wait. There were no alternatives provided either.The point of having an appointment scheduled is so that we wouldnt waste too much of our Sunday anticipating a decent response. It was a very disappointing experience.

I dont usually write reviews, but I wanted to save someone else some trouble. The wax and customer service were good, it was quick and efficient and I have zero issue with that side of things.Unfortunately, the products that were put on my freshly waxed skin (not sure if it was the highlighter or skin soother, etc.) has made me break out all along my eyebrow line. I would say that I have moderately sensitive skin, nothing crazy. My biggest complaint is that I wasnt asked ahead of time if I wanted to use the highlighter and we didnt go over the three or four other products that she used on my brows after the wax. It was just a lot and clearly my skin couldnt handle it.I have been getting waxed for years at other salons but this is the first time I had trouble. Ill not be going back and Im still dealing with trying to repair my skin.

Due to Covid I was told to call and see if they have any appointments available, I called the Metairie location they told me I can get an appointment on their open date which was 06/13, she also told me I was going to receive an email which is today. I’ve called the European wax center since 8am my appointment was for 9 . On the booking website and also on google it says they open at 8 I have proof I called them non stop I finally get an answer at 9:08 (after I was pose to be at my appointment) the worker told me she can’t take me she also told they sent me a text which I did not receive I was told to look for EMAIL. She asked me about going to the Metairie location but it’s out my area. I just feel it was very unprofessional considering I been booked my appointment for my wax before they open but I’ll take my open else where . I DONT REFER ANYONE THERE. I AM BERY IRRITATED

Today was my first time ever getting a Brazilian full wax. I was nervous when I first walked in but they made I was comfortable. The person who did me was India and she did a damn good job she laughed and talked me through the whole process and made sure I was comfortable. It was painful but how fast she went she didn’t give you a chance to think about it. I will definitely be back

Just got my underarms done here. Beautiful, clean place with very kind employees. Total privacy as each room has walls and doors; no curtains or room dividers like Ive seen in some centers. Mandy, the store manager welcomed me, explained everything, and told me about their product line. The service itself was quick (about 20 minutes) and virtually painless - thank you, Trameka! They use a hard wax formula so no paper is required.Only giving four stars because they do the most when it comes to selling. As soon as you finish your wax, the specialist will tell you which products you need and put them right up by the counter assuming youre just going to buy them. The girl at the desk will then begin to ring them up while Mandy tells you more about their subscription plan for a number of waxes. I didnt appreciate this.There were also some visible hairs left on my underarms, but Mandy explained that that is normal and a result of those hairs not being long enough for the wax to cling onto.

Always a great experience. The people are very friendly and Alexandra, is a very quick and experienced waxer. Always feel great when I leave.

Fast and adequate service.

My experience here was wonderful! I was very nervous walking in but everyone there was calming and professional from the moment I walked in the door. Tremeka was my provider and she was amazing! I will be back to see her and you should request her, especially if you are nervous. I also work in the service/retail model so I know the associates and providers are just doing their job but I did find their sales tactic aggressive and a bit over baring but ultimately I loved my experience and I will be back.

My first experience at European wax center was at the Metairie location and it was horrible, I still had hair on my body after getting a Brazilian wax. Today I visited the Freret st location and Tasheba C. changed my whole perspective on European wax. She is good at what she does and she is an amazing person. If your looking for a better wax person, definitely give her a try, you won’t regret it.

Last week I came in to get my first Brazilian wax with the European Wax Center and I felt that it was extremely important that I leave this review. My first waxing experience was last year ( with a smaller local business) and it was not a very good one. It left me discouraged and uncomfortable with the idea of waxing and I was sure I would never do it again. I was very nervous when I met Ms. Lawrianne but the moment I lay down for my wax everything changed. She was very reassuring after I shared the story of my first experience. She was a very warm and welcoming therapist who changed my mindset and I am very happy she was able to do so. We talked and laughed like friends which made the experience more enjoyable and intimate for me. She created an environment that no training could provide! Thank you Ms. Lawrianne, there’s no doubt that all of your customers leave just and happy as I did. Great work!

I had a great experience here, I was nervous about getting my Brazilian as always. But Megan was great and she got all my hair up! And she gave great advice about maintaining smooth skin!

The turnover is pretty high in general with pretty much any European Wax Center location, but the one on Freret consistently has good waxers so even though its out of the way I go there. The front desk is always really friendly, even if youre dumb and reschedule a hundred times before going in. As of right now Im seeing Megan regularly, she is awesome!

I’ve gone here a few times but after my appointment today I won’t be back. While everyone who works there is super nice, the overall experience is not great. In the past I didn’t like that you got undressed with the cerologist in the room or that not privacy sheet was provided. But those were minor issues.Today I was there for an hour for a simple underarm and bikini line wax and it was bad. The wax would not remove my underarm hair (never had a problem with this before) so she had to do it over and over and over and over again. And wound up needing to tweeze the majority of my hairs. Things were better with my bikini but she started making a much different shape than I had requested. I spoke up that that wasn’t what I had asked for. She apologized and get working. But then I had to ask twice for her to even out the shape and in the end it still isn’t right.I’m exhausted and frustrated. My body is sore and I don’t look or feel how I want.This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues there but this was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

I cannot say enough good things about EWC. The people in the front are always very kind and welcoming, and the esthesians are amazing! They always make sure you are as comfortable as possible. Also, the wax passes they offer save you so much money on my waxes if you wax a lot! Rihanna is my esthesian and I would highly recommend her! She goes above and beyond to make sure Im comfortable and that all of the hairs are gone!
