Great store. Almost everything you need. ⚠️ However❗️ Please check your products before you leave❗️❗️ ⚠️I bought some Softee Indian Hemp from Ebone about two weeks ago. Opened it for the first time today. There are fingernail scrapes of grease missing and hair already in the container❗️Someone already used it. I know now to check my products before I leave because people are doing some sketchy things.

They are very nasty and rude.. Bought a shirt that was ripped when I took it out the bag. Refused to refund my money back. The old man walking in there was the rudest person in there. I advise you all the go and support the blacks cause they need use more than we need them. Stay away from them. Please. This hair stote is on Gentilly and Elysian Field.

If you dont have a fitting room you shouldnt sell clothes!!!!I had been all around town searching for those gold metallic leggings. First I called this place to see if they had some before I drive there. The lady that answered the phone stated that they had some in store and that they were one size fits all. However when I got there the only sizes they had was s/m and m/l. I asked the lady if I could try them on, especially because it was a final sale, and she said they didnt have a fitting room...I left!

I worked at this beauty supply for all of 2 shifts back in October 2016. They are extremely rude. They had 3 verbal arguments with customers while I was there. They have ridiculous rules. They talked about everyone, INCLUDING me, in their native language. I had multiple customers come up to me, surprised that I worked there and told me you wont be here long. Youre gonna quit. And thats exactly what I did. It was crazy.

They always have my favorite hair color & so much more. Plastic caps, single gloves and anything else you need for hair to get that right color in.

There is an abundant selection, but if you care about a certain level of customer service, professionalism and competitive pricing, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE! They rarely give you itemized receipts for your purchases (I suspect they wouldnt want someone to come back to dispute what they were charged), no pricing whatsoever on certain types of braiding hair, wont allow exchanges, and God help you if you have a question! I understand the reasoning behind not wanting to refund a purchase, but come on, no exchanges? Really?!?Everyone I have ever encountered working at this place had some kind of attitude, like smiling or showing genuine interest in helping a customer would cause their heads to explode! I dont get it, and for that reason Ill be taking my money to one of the hundreds of other beauty supply stores around the city (theres actually one on Caton St. (not two minutes away), Franklin Ave. & Miro, and on St. Claude & Elysian Fields).

Can I give no stars? Family members went in to support this store, and staff was impatient and rude when she asked questions about the products. Staff outright told her she was getting on their nerves, and when she went to report the incident the manager all of a sudden didnt speak english.

Clutter place but have what u need.

Apparently, they arent aware that most of their clientele are Black, from a Black community. Apparently, our money or business isnt enough to earn their common decency and respect! Order yall hair off Amazon or Ali Express. Screw these people.

Was very poor they need help they accuse me of not paying $0.50 to try on a wig and I did they said you had to buy one in order to try on the wig and I was back there she was helping to try on the wig after I gave her the $0.50 and she said I didnt give it to her and her husband to then they want to apologize it was too late so next time Ill ask for a receipt!!!!!!
