The agent was doing too much!While I was trying to ask questions and get tips, she was busy running to other customers to do the same thing for them.Id ask a question and as soon as I paused too long, she was GONE!Then I asked her for LONG WEAR MATTE LIPSTICK. She helped me find a color that was good for me, but that lipstick lasted maybe 30 minutes after I put it on. I have lipstick from Walmart that lasts longer.Will NOT be doing this again!

Very nice, very clean following covid 19 guidelines.The employees are great very knowledgeable it shows that they love their job. So many beautiful choices in make up and skin care everything you can dream of for your hair also.

Unfortunately you cant swatch any sample yourself, but the staff was able to help me with picking out a lipstick color. Edward was very helpful. I love that this is a standalone store rather than having to go to the dreadful mall.

I dont like to spend too much time in Sephora and when I do go, I know exactly what I need. Kim and Brian made my shopping experience quick while finding me a perfect match. I came in wearing the wrong shade and they made me feel comfortable and confident that they would find me the correct match. I have a local Sephora in my town but I think I will stock up at this location the next time I am in this area. Thank you! You guys are awesome!

My daughters loved this store. They sought advice, received the help needed, and the staff managed their needs with an eye on airline liquids regulations. As for the products, I have since discovered from colleagues they are every bit as good as suggested. My daughters love them.

I cant say enough nice things about the team at this store. I was in a major jam and ended up having to stay overnight in New Orleans unexpectedly without any luggage, toiletries, etc. The ladies here were so sweet and kind, and not only helped me get the items I needed, but made sure they were things that were budget friendly, but useful. I loved it! Went in for Fenty and left with a that and a bomb ass eyeliner! The staffer was so helpful and not snobby at all. She matched my foundation and gave me loads of great tips on how to transition my highlighter! Great afternoon all in all.

The people are always so friendly in here they make it easy to shop sure I have to shove past uterus to get in there and get out and get what I need done but they work pretty quickly and getting people helped as best as they can the guy over in the perfume section is fantastic hes so sweet I used to come in almost every week or two and get my free little sample of perfume I cant really afford it right now and its great having the option to still enjoy my favorite products and not have to pay full price and I do not have use it of course I just treat myself once in awhile to a nice perfume I work hard and I feel like I deserve it but Im getting off topic so I do apologize but the store is fantastic its not a large Sephora by any means but it has a good selection and of course I did have one issue one time and it was rectified rather quickly I received a product that was my bonus product for my points and I honestly didnt even think to check it and I kind of just threw it in the back of my closet and forgot about it when I finally remembered that I had this amazing product I was disappointed to find out that they had given me an empty box but I went in there and they exchanged it for part of that was still in the box and I was happy with it I actually ended out ahead with it over all this before here in town is a very good option

Very disappointing experience. The young lady who was assisting me informed me that there were only 2 shades of the concealer that I was looking for. Eventhough my shade was not either of the 2. It wasnt until I suggested that she take a look at my profile that it occured to her that she should look in the back for the shade I was requesting. Only to learn that they were out of the shade I needed.

I selected four products from lists recommended by Mens Health Magazine. Each was referenced by the magazine as available at Sephora. I located the items on the Sephora website, and noted that they had a shop in my area, so I went to this location. Absolutely none were available in the store. Dont even waste your time!

Walked in to get a foundation match the lady gave me a shade that was toooo dark. I returned it the next day and it seemed as if the white women was avoiding helping me (I feel like they didn’t wanna match me again and get the wrong shade) so I got help from one of the black girls she gave me a shade that was too light. So at that point I didn’t even go back to the store to get matched again I just kept the foundation and never used it. Btw it was FENTY BEAUTY.

Visited the brand new Sephora in the French Quarter and had an outstanding customer service experience. Aside from the fact the store had lots of stock and looked great, April, Emily, and Kim helped me. Kim, in particular, was very friendly and helped me choose the right colors for me. It was wonderful to be there!

Expensive but makeup is now days. Some employees are super nice and some not at all. But when you need make-up you have to go so it works.

I absolutely love Sephora!!! I am definitely a skincare, haircare and makeup lover!!!When I go to Sephora, I am like a kid in a candy store. I can spend hours looking around at all of the products they carry and I enjoy EVERY minute of it.I am very high maintenance when it comes to skincare and makeup but VERY low maintenance when it comes to hair styling. I have wavy/curly, colored hair (dark brown with purple highlights) that is down to the middle of my back that I wash and air dry. I cant remember the last time I blow dryed my hair other than when I get my hair colored or trimmed at the salon. I just recently discovered hair styling products that work well with my hair type and still look great when air dryed(i.e. B&B Curling Primer/Re-Styling Spray, Verb Curling Cream, etc.)I will never get tired of going to Sephora! Sephora offers such great perks for those who are VIB Rouge, like me, such as free makeovers as often as you would like.

Love Sephora makeup so much! I am rouge member. Ive been shopping in this store for years and I never felt as welcomed as I did today. The lady named Saysha met me and asked me if she could help me with anything. I was looking for skincare. I also explained that I have very sensitive skin and its hard to find a moisterizer that will not irritate my skin. Mrs Saysha suggested Fresh skincare with black tea and Drunk Elefant. She also explained how to use it and gave me instructions. She is very intelligent, smart and makes you feel special. I came home and tryed the skincare. It is absolutely amazing! I will come back to Mrs Saysha again. If you come to the store, ask for Mrs Saysha! She will suggest something just for you and I forgot to mention, she also gave me some samples to try! She is so sweet!

Thursday 6:00 pm, 02-23. I came with my wife decided to buy some colognes/perfumes. Nobody said not even Hello or Welcome; nobody approached us to help us. Due to nobody was helping us, I asked the cashier about the Sephora Cologne Sampler and she did not know about it, she said it might be just for holidays (Its a classic item for this brand), workers seem like to be very busy talking to each others... I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome that we decided to leave. First time I felt like this with this Franchise. The team at Lakeside Mall is so ready and professional. I do not understand the difference with this new store. Staff/Managers might be unprepared to represent this brand.

Love Sephora but this was my first time to the French Quarter location. Jenna was amazing! She gave me a sample of the Fenty foundation as well as the primer. She showed me different brushes to try and chatted with me while I swatched the ABH Subculture palette (still thinking about that one) Everyone was very polite and super friendly and I didnt even end up buying anything today.Absolutely would recommend to anyone looking to browse makeup, skin care or fragrance and wants service with a smile.

This store is really meh. Theres nothing exceptional about it. You have to find downtown parking, so Id only recommend going here if you are downtown anyway. Trying to get an Uber/Lyft from here can be a pain because the street is divided and so sometimes the drivers will wait for you on the other side.Ive been here about five times. The staff has always been mediocre, nothing too bad and nothing great. On the couple of occasions where Ive bought something, I received no samples. They have trouble finding me in their beauty system all the time.I know theft must be an issue because they follow me around. I dont look like I wear a lot of makeup, and if I know Im going to Sephora, I might wear no makeup at all so that I can have a fresh face to try stuff on. My guess is they assume people with no makeup on are less likely to buy stuff.

I do not use the products but for a dude doing a postmates delivery involving some Items I know nothing about, these awesome gals ROCKED. We matched the shades for two different products they dpnt actually carry and walked me through the process so I could be confident I was providing my customer what they wanted. Sadly two small, no tiny, miniscule volumes of product were over 90 bucks. If you spend 50 you get a free makeover but I was working so vouldnt indulge.

Beautiful Sephora located on bustling Decatur, right in the French Quarter. This store is hot off the presses as they just opened last month. Its so convenient for travelers to have Sephora so centrally located instead of having to coordinate transport to the mall. Full-sized Sephora with all your favorite brands. I was pleased to find the whole Milk cosmetics line here as well. The employees are extremely helpful and ready to help you find anything you are looking for. They can be a bit over-helpful, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. Id rather have over-attentive staff than under!

Service was amazing EXCEPT for the man in fragrance who offered zero assistance, or acknowledgement while i was shopping for $200 bottle of cologne. I bought it somewhere else.

Im new to shopping at Sephora. Ive always purchased colognes from department stores. So over the past month Ive decided I wanted to seek out and find a new scent. After reading many reviews I decided I was ready to smell some of the Tom Ford fragrances. I live in Biloxi, Mississippi and we have a Sephora in JcPennys but no Tom Ford products. So after doing a little research I saw that the New Orleans Sephora carried the Tom Ford Private Blends. So off to New Orleans I go. Well as soon as I get to the store I was greeted promptly started looking around and I made my way to the fragrance section. I really wanted to know everything that I could about the product and learn as much as I could because the Tom Ford fragrances arent cheap and truly are an investment. Also a lot of us males that come into Sephora it can be a little intimidating. Youll never hear us just come out and say that but it can be. But not once did I feel intimidated. Michael the sales associate that helped me took me on fragrance voyage that gave me knowledge and understanding of the scents that he let me smell by Tom Ford and let me tell you the Private Blend Oud Wood by Tom Ford was amazing. Michael made me a few samples and told me I needed to try them out and figure out which one I wanted to be my choice before making the investment. On the way home I couldnt get over how much I was enchanted by the Oud Wood. So I get home and I start looking around at the options on Sephoras website and I chose my first bottle of Tom Ford Oud Wood. Thank you Michael for the top notch service and fragrance experience. You have made a lifelong Sephora customer with your product knowledge and exceptional customer service skills. Until next time New Orleans I will be back to see you for my next Tom Ford adventure.
