Disappointed because of NOT being served. Meaning, although my part and labor was paid by my father early on, me living almost 2 hours away I have been turned away today/Saturday where it states theyre open until 1pm. I arrived before noon and called while outside the door. He replied I am so sorry, we just closed, by the managers instructions. I said, do u realize how far I just drove. About 80 miles 1 way sir. He stated they are open Monday. Well, that doesnt help me when u r still in the building. So angry, caused I attempted the day prior in bad weather and had to turn around. Just ready to get it done. I think there was an customer service opportunity to resolve a paid customer from a great distance away.

I always go here. I love it. I can always bring my car in right away and they always explain to me and very great detail whats going on with my car and I really appreciate that.

The owner is a super nice guy, funny and personable! He endured my nervous chatty catty, lol. Very knowledgeable and fixed our car quickly. Dont worry about being price gouged ... He charged us very little in labor compared to the repairs that were needed. We will be going back to him in the future. Highly recommend!

Fast quality service

I dont know much about my car but these guys do. I get in and out in a fair amount of time and they always explain the things that are wrong so I can understand whats going on. They also help in explaining to me the things Ill need to get done soon to keep things rolling along. Im not sure where things broke down for others but Ive never gotten unreasonable pricing from these guys. To the lady with the Cavalier, everyone in the city charges to at least look at your car.

I had to change my headlamp. I went to the NAPA up the street got the right bulb and started to change it. I got stuck on one step and was in a rush to leave for New York that day. I pulled in and was ready to wait in line behind the 6 people in the waiting room and be charged an arm and a leg for this necessary repair. The nice man behind the counter, came to the car unlatched a few doohickeys, showed me how to take out the casing, and replace the bulb in 3min and didnt charge me. I was very stressed out and greatful for his kindness. If I am ever in NOLA again I would go back there for bigger repairs.

I went in get a l estimate on a muffler repair. I was quoted 220.00. I came back 2 day later and ask how much was it going to be I was told $400 for the same job. I told the that I have a quote yall gave me for 220. Why is it 400 today. I was told that they never gave me a quote. I showed him the paper they gave it to me on and was told that that was not there shop. I then told them I work across the street and I now you gave me quote also, it had yall name on it. DO NOT trust these people. Have heard many people say they over charged and are very disrespectful. I am so glad I didnt get my work done here. I was able to get it the same work dont at Supreme Muffler for $477 bucks cheaper that they quoted. And my bill was $227 buck at a supreme muffler.

On the drive from Denver, CO to Ft Lauderdale, FL, my 87 Toyota Pickup started overheating just outside of New Orleans. It was Friday night, so I had it towed to a place that I knew would be open on Saturday: Firestone. The next morning, they told me a needed a complete new cooling system including radiator, water pump, and thermostat, plus new belts because they had been dripped on. The total was over $1,000I knew this was bullshit, so I asked to talk to the Firestone guy who had actually checked the vehicle...He pulled me aside and told me in private that the only thing that actually needed to be replaced was the water pump, the other stuff wouldnt hurt, but wasnt immediately necessary.So I called up Miteys on a whim. He promised to beat the Firestone price of around $300, and have me out of there earlier. He delivered on his word and got me rolling all the way to Florida with a new water pump installed for around $230...Was very lucky to have found this shop. He and his guys are very straight shooters. Just take the time to ask them questions and the will give you the honest answer. Honesty and integrity are sadly hard to find in the automotive business, but look no further, they deliver an honest and fair service.

If I could give them 0 stars I would! I brought my car in Saturday morning for a brake job. The price for front brakes and rotars was quoted at $477 I asked about their 10% off promotion advertised on the website and was told they couldnt honor it because he was already giving me a good deal. Against my better judgement I agreed to have them fix it. By the time I made it home my car was making a strange rubbing noise that wasnt there before I brought it to the shop I called them up and he says well I told you you would eventually need back brakes too. Um no sir brakes have nothing to do with this noise. Well bring it back and we will look at it he says. Im here now Im sure he will try to charge me for this problem they created in the first place.

Ive taken my Ford Escape to Mitey Automotive several times over the years and I always find them to be honest, reliable and fair. Their prices seem reasonable and they dont try to oversell me on unnecessary repairs.

Rip off!! I took my car to get a second opinion. Instead of the $897.21 which I was quoted. I payed $88.00. I dont appreciate Mighty Muffler trying to take advantage of me. It took 10 minutes for the repair. I will never use this company or recommend it to anyone.

Brought Exhaust pipe for go-kart that was cracked and a bracket broke. Welded both for $25. Did and awesome job for how thin the metal is.

Avoid this place if at all possible. My mother-in-law brought her car there to get her cooling system flushed. On the afternoon of the day she picked it up, she called for me to help her in the side of the road because her car had overheated. When I got there, I found that the lower radiator hose was disconnected. After towing the car back to Mitey, they denied any responsibility and actually implied that my 70+ year old mother-in-law had crawled under the car and disconnected the hose herself!

While they do good work, expect their quotes to be unseasonable and prices to be extremely high. To replace a timing belt on a 4Runner, they gave me a quote for over $2,000. Local Toyota dealers all quoted me less than $1,000 for the same job. They also bill hours in an odd way. I was given an estimate of $100, then $150 for work and finally received a bill of $220. The truck was at the shop for 75 minutes and I was told they were going to have to redo an exhaust mount, but the mount appeared to be the same (still covered in rust). The shops attitude toward the bill was, thats just the way it is and the manager, Mike, was in no mood to discuss the issue. I would not suggest this shop based on their unreasonable quotes, bad communication and apparent price gouging.
