Amazing, Fantastic, Awesome. What more can I say. Was driving 1800 miles and had a wheel bearing start to go. They got me in and back on the road in less than 3 hours at a Great price. They were extremely friendly... I wish these guys were in Tulsa OK.

My right front wheel started screaming like a banshee for who knows why an hour from home with my wife, mother-in-law, and 2-year-old in the car on the way to the aquarium - a real bad way to start the day. Glad I found my way to Rick!! He got me in quick - pointed me and family to a good place for lunch - and had us back on the road in an hour!Turned out to be nothing serious, a rock between the rotor and the brake shield causing all that awful noise - price was very fair to fix!I genuinely appreciate Rick and teams professional, personal and quick service! I called eagerly on my lunch break to explain my car troubles. They were able to get me in to the shop that day after work to do a free estimate. I waited a whole 5 minutes to get my professional diagnosis, and they wasted zero time gathering the necessary parts and getting the job done. Once my car was off the lift I paid my bill, which was super cheap. Upon leaving Rick said to me that he felt a whole lot better knowing I had brakes on my car. I brought my car to them with no brakes at all. The entire process took about 2.5 hours and I was out the door. Their phone was ringing off the hook the entire time I was there and every customer I saw was happy with their services as well. I definitely recommend these guys.. not only did Rick make me feel comfortable but he treated me great and you can tell that he isn’t trying to make an extra buck off of your business. He didn’t throw in any extra charges, in fact he got me an extra part that I would have went without !!! I’m super happy and will definitely return for future car care needs!

Hello, i would like to report an issue that took place at Meineke New London, CT. My cousin was a mechanic and The owner Winslow threw all his belongings and tool cart on the floor. There is photo proof if you need it.They worked him like a dog and this guy did this after my cousin switched jobs to better himself as a mechanic.Please help me solve this issue. The New London Page on Facebook turned off their comments and reviews. Please help me get justice for my cousin. That owner should be paying for a new Tool Cart for my cousin

I was driving from Massachusetts to Maryland when my car started making loud noises. I stopped at Meineke in New London to have them look at my car. Within an hour they had my car on a lift and they were able to weld a new exhaust connector pipe underneath my car so that I could continue my journey. Rich and his team were very kind, courteous, and honest. Even though I needed a whole new exhaust system, they did a quick repair so that I could get home safely.

Go for free AC check up and end up paid $180 for nothing, got the cabin filter change, if want to go further might have to spend another $1,500 to replace the compressor, its just cost more than my van. They are friendly people.

Great service, knowledgeable staff, better then expected for pricing.Car- 2003 pt cruiser but with only 55k milesWent here Christmas eve with an overheating engine. They saw me right away and we assessed that it was probably a busted thermostat, could be a blown head gasket, but unlikely due to low mileage and no contamination of coolant and oil. Repaired the thermostat, flushed coolant and got her ready to hit the road again. Got to where I was going, but it was unfortunately not only the thermostat, but also the head gasket seeing as the car did overheat again. No fault on them, this happens when you have a cascading issue, but I was going to my destination no matter what. They got me to where I needed to go and I can not thank the owner and mechanics enough.They have earned a customer for life, if not their branch then the company as a whole.I wish the crew and the company a happy new years and hope for the best for them!

Very professional and great value. They treat me like family every time any of my vehicles need service or upgrades. They take the time to let you know what is wrong and all of your options, if you cant afford the basic option it is not this or any other mechanics fault, shame on you with your 1 star reviews.

I brought my car in for an oil change and sprung to have my tires rotated as well. They had my car for a total of 4 hours and when I finally went to pick it up after work and drive home my car was making awful noises and the steering wheel was jerking. Not only did they leave the oil cap just sitting on top of the engine, but my front left wheel only had one lug nut on it and the wheel was on the verge of falling off of the car. I had to call a tow company to get it back to Meineke ( I waited two hours in the dark), find a way home, and find a way to work in the morning . The manager there, Michael, refused to give me a refund and I had to call corporate directly. My wheel could have fallen off of my vehicle while I was driving and they could care less. I will NEVER go to any Meineke again.

The people who work here are some of the nicest people I have ever met they actually care about each person who comes in for service. They are not just about money they genuinely care. There was this nice older lady who was there while I was there and her car started messing up after she went grocery shopping and she still had her groceries in her vehicle and she was concerned for her food, can you believe they were willing to have someone that worked there driver her to her house and drop off her food!!!!! That is so sweet. Thankfully her son came and they didn’t have to but it was so nice I’ve never seen any other place willing to do something like that. I’m going to only go to them for as long as we are here unfortunately we move a lot due to the military but for the time I’m here they are gonna be my go to car shop for everything.

Does a good job with oil chances however notice that everytime I get my car done here though, there’s always something wrong with my hood or bumper. I hope you guys aren’t hitting cars and and slamming hoods and just being careless with the cars cause my bumper was slightly disconnected after you guys done work on it and I had to get it fixed!

This place rocks! I went in for a broke down battery and they took care of the issue with grace and professionalism. Not only did they offer numerous discounts for my issue, they continued to discount my total price even after they found the problem to cost much less than initially expected. Great chit chat too! Very happy with all the work and service I received from bringing my car in. I had a good amount of issues with my car ranging from just a regular tune up to re-fixing my exhaust system. I say re-fixing because I made the mistake of taking it somewhere else first, where after paying quite a pretty penny it was worse off than when I started. Rick was able to fix what the other place screwed up and fix a few other issues I had all in the same day i brought it in, and for much cheaper. From now on when I have any car troubles, this is where Ill be bringing it. Great work, and an awesome staff that was super friendly and understanding. I have no problem rating them 5 stars. Will definitely recommend to all my friends n family that need auto repairs. Thanks guys!

Rich and the gang at the New London Meineke win for customer service! I heard a noise that was tough to describe. They needed to try many things to silence it, as it was a tough sound to diagnose. They indulged in multiple ride-alongs with me so I could point it out and wouldnt give up until it was solved. Friendly guys and fair pricing! Go above and beyond.

I went for a free tire rotation and the new manager said to me that it was impossible to have a free tire rotation. I told him that I had bought the tires there and that was part of the deal. After much complaining he said he was going to do it for the last time. He brought the car up and everything and DID NOT rotate my tires. I know because I had a problem with the front left tire and it was still there! He was NOT honest

They fixed my brakes.Had to go back next day for a touch up.No problem.

It was a relatively disappointing appointment for an oil change. I usually switch my summer and winter tires when they do the free tire rotation (no extra charge) in other locations and companies. Meineke New London wanted to charge $26 per tire. No thank you. I also usually receive the 23-point inspection sheet so that I know if there are any issues, but not this time.Other than that though, I was out of there in less than 30 minutes for the oil change. There do not seem to be any issues. The front desk lady was also nice and friendly (part of why I couldnt cancel my appointment, though I was very tempted).Overall, I will not be coming back to this location again unless I really must.

Last year I purchased a lifetime warranty on my brakes at Meineke. After they looked at my car the manager up front told me that I needed rotors. I declined, knowing that my car is brand new and that that didnt make sense.After the work was completed, one of the technicians told me when we walked to my car that I did not need the rotors, that the manager was just trying to rip me off.A yearish later when I needed my brakes replaced, I called them to get an estimate on my brakes, two tires and an alignment emailed to me because I had a flat tire. They said that they do not email estimates and that there was nothing that they could do to help me.They rip people off, so I am not surprised that they are not willing to email estimates. Also, I have a flat tire so I am not going to drive around picking up estimates from shops that I do not trust.** Update: Do not go to them, they will not honor lifetime warranties. They tell you upon purchase of a warranty that you need services that you dont actually need and if you decline, theyll put that on record and when you go back for services that should be covered under warranty, theyll tell you that your warranty is void for declining services

BEWARE!!! Last year I Fixed my car in Meineke New London I spend $2,941.52 put new INTAKE MANIFOLD, New ALL IGNITION COILS and SPARK PLUGS (the invoice specify have 1 year of warranty) 6 months later the light of check engine is on again and car shakes a little I went to Meineke to make an appointment to check my car for the next day. When I go next day I need to wait 2 hours for the first diagnostic The Manager Richard Baxter come with me and tell me with the error codes and tell me need to repair the INTAKE MANIFOLD and that will cost me around $4,000.00 ( I tell him they just put a new INTAKE MANIFOLD 6 months ago) and no make sense because just for the new Intake manifold last year I pay $1,460.09 included labor. I tell him call my insurance company to check what is covered. Take me 3 hours to they call me back. The Manager want to make a DEAL with me He said me pay $514.93 for the labor and the company will cover the parts. I tell him the warranty include the labor (NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY). Finally next day when I went to pick up my car the manager wasnt in the shop and I check my car and the INTAKE MANIFORLD WAS NOT REPLACE HAVE THE SAME ONE) I WAS A MEINEKE CUSTOMER MANY YEARS AGO!

Went here for diagnostic paid 110 dollars to find out issues with my car they did not tell me any issues and caused damage to my car when I brought it to the managers Attention he told me he did not care that they damaged my car and that he had another call to answer I was a paying customer and treated poorly and because it’s a franchise corparte said they can not get involved and the managers name is Marc I heard good things at first but after this experience I will never spend another dime or tell anyone to go there because Marc is just out to get people’s money and destroy customer Vehicals

Quick service. Walked in for an oil change, got serviced, talked with the friendly receptionist and left within 20 mins.

Went for emissions (Failed me for not having a VIN number. the tech could no find vin number, Now I have to take it wethersfield dmv took it to my local shop and master mechanic showed me where the vin number was it did had a vin number!, went back to manekei in the a.m and manager was very rude saying (my tech dont make mistake. I went to wethersfield dmv that very day To do a vin check, (Waited Hours) and missed work. DMV has found the clearly visible vin, top of that tech wrote a lot of information about the car wrong. Now there going to be visit by CT emissions. Horrible service.
