Unique Auto sales deserve 5 Stars ⭐️ every single time I go there they never let me down. They always find a way to make your life much easier when it comes to DMV portion of their job. In fact Carolina was very helpful for me today, I was going through a rough time this morning with my vehicle as I was talking with the receptionist, Carolina then over heard my conversation and made it happen for me. Continued to keep in touch with me to give me updates on this process. Very good customer service😊 thank you Unique Auto sales.

They charged me another $25 for title duplicate, but it was part of DMV work.They finished the registration in 20 minutes, and even gave plates right away + screws for the plates.I cant understand why they have only 3.9 stars.$25 commission is every worth a penny.5 stars for their work!!

Bianca is great she was a big help and very friendly such a beautiful person. She made my experience great and I was in and out within a few minutes, she saved me so much time and I was able to register my van within minutes.

I went to this dealership to register a car, this is a DMV approved location.. after showing the Spanish lady on the counter my papers she pointed on the title that there was a TINY stroke of a pen where it wasn’t supposed to be and she assessed a $25 correction fee.. after I questioned this the lady became very annoyed and told me there is no way around it and I had to pay it or go somewhere else. I decided to pay the $25 because I waited in line for so long.. this vehicle was gifted to me.. so I had a gift declaration letter.. the lady and another man who is also Hispanic began to talk in Spanish. Not knowing that I am also a fluent Spanish speaker I hear the 2 saying “Look, we have people like this trying to get over on the system and lie about having a gift” said the women, after this the males response was “I had a black lady come in here and try to do that same thing telling me she paid $100 for a 2015 car” I was shocked and didn’t know what to say.. I politely responded in Spanish “you shouldn’t talk about people like that, you don’t know who can and can’t understand what you’re saying”.. both of them very shocked at the fact that I understood them stayed quiet and finished the transition.. I then asked for a detailed copy of my receipt and was told that they didn’t have time to get one and I had to contact DMV directly to dispute anything.

I wanted to register a motorcycle, they told me exactly what I needed.I was in an out quick.The girl who did the paperwork was great.

On 2/4/2021, My husband and I were treated very poorly by the male Frank! We went to this dealership after being referred by the DMV as places to register our vehicle. When we went into the dealership we spoke to a young lady and handed her all of the information needed to register our vehicle. We were told that we needed an additional paper “an Odometer Statement.” That was fine. My husband and I proceeded to inquire more about the info needed to register our vehicle with follow up questions because we had no idea where we need to get it from. Frank says to me, unexpectedly and in a dismissive tone “I know you are trying to convince me!”I was stunned! So both my husband and I said to him we are not trying to convince you of anything we are simply trying to get information on what we need to register our vehicle. After a bit of back and forth he refused to help up and shooed us out of the door very disrespectful. The lack of respect and dismissiveness that we had received was unacceptable and I would not recommend any respectable person to patron there.

I had a terrible time with DMV trying to register a used vehicle I purchased through a private sale. I also was in a red tape nightmare trying to use the DMV website to renew the registration on my other car. The professional and courteous staff at Unique Auto Sales took care of both transactions the same day I contacted them. The $25 fee they charged was worth every penny to avoid DMV altogether. I also had to drive almost 40 minutes to get this done because other dealers listed on the DMV website were not as acccomodating. Highly recommend this route for anyone looking to register or renew. Great job by the team at Unique Auto.

Very clean and friendly operation. Angela was helpful and the mechanic did a terrific job. Total cost came in far less than I was quoted at another local brake shop.

Had a great experience, didnt feel pressured and saw 5 cars I was interested in. Efrain did a great job at informing me of the cars I liked aswell as gave suggestions. I did not purchase just yet, Im still looking but Im pretty sure they will be getting my business.

Tried to register 2 cars with this place. They will make fill up forms, wait outside 2 hours and then send you to DMV.

Went for my second car, and i was immediately greeted. I picked out my car, theu let me test drive it and the couple things that was wrong was fixed in 2 days and i was able to take my baby home. I bought the car back because the back up camera was fuzzy and was told they would order me a new one... Great Customer Service and Great Staff

Absolutely blown away! The customer service at unique is among the best I have come across in any context. I contacted Caroline and Angie for a project that I was doing at Yales School of Management. The premise was as follows: youre given a paperclip and have to trade the paperclip for items of increasing worth. I had made 9 trades and had a painting. When I told Caroline and Angie that I would give them a very nice painting in exchange for a car that I would donate to charity, they agreed! They have been nothing but kind and professional and their dealership reflects their kindness and professionalism. They are such an amazing part of the New Haven Community. Highly recommended!

Went there to get a car I privately purchased registered with all of my paperwork filled out and ready to go and they made up an excuse about how they couldnt do it because of where a PREVIOUS owner purchased it. Not worth the time trying to go through them.

Thought they were good until they told us they would fix a few things. Which is fine since it was in a couple of accidents. (Found that out after buying it) and instead gave us the runaround. We bought the car on a saturday and was told to pick it up monday. they said a few things needed to be fixed or changed out but yet didnt do anything with the car. Its a 2016. Needed new breaks, they said they put them in a month later breaks are still squeaky. Need an oil change already. The maintence light is on and been on. They did get an alignment for us and a new battery. Theres a strange noise from under the car, e break is loose, gas tank/computer flucuates tremendously. Like if you leave the car running for 30 minutes it will go from per say 285 miles to 210 quick. People are super nice just dont fix the car theyre selling

I bought a car from here & I cannot make this up, the engine came on 10 mins later right off the lot, the car broke down less than 24 hours and only went to work ( This why they didn’t have me test drive it ). They tried to say it was my fault, I only drove it for one 1 hour total the same day. Mind you there was somebody else who was there before me getting their car because their transmission slipped from the last they bought from Unique Auto Sales & the next day when I came to tell them what happened to the car, the same person who I saw the day before came to tell them that there was a problem with their car..I was just blessed to be able to get my money back after aggressiveness. They act like they want to help you, but really selling overpriced fixed lemons then it becomes your problem. DO NOT BUY WITH THESE PEOPLE! This all happened October 2018 btw.

Bought a used vehicle for my busines and knowing I was getting and older car basically as is, angela the owner went above and beyond to take care of a few minor details. new battery, fixed a winshieldWasher, tail light, all things that i noticed last minute and they really didnt have to fix even called the dealer to give me a discount for an extra key

Lets start off by saying I spent 4239 on a bmw they buy cars from auction as is it wasnt 3 weeks my car broke down I need a new computer because the computer was fried I reached out to caroline to see if they can fix my car being it hasnt been a month I kept getting the run around long story short I have a car that is not running I have to spend 2700 extra to get fix trust me I have a lawyer I will be seeking a full refund so to court we will go never again you guys couldnt even meet half way no worries stay far away
