DO NOT TRUST THE OWNER. I was having an engine misfire problem with my old Subaru a while back, and he first did a $500 repair which did not work, then tried to convince me to do a $2500 valve repair by showing me some green fluid instead of doing a compression test. BEWARE. He seems like a nice guy but was obviously trying to confuse me with technical car jargon to get me to agree to an unnecessary expense.

All the Toms are fantastic. I had my check engine light turn on and they fixed it up same day. As a daughter of a mechanic, its important to me that I have a mechanic I can trust. Aquila is my shop of choice.

Recently had my front axle replaced for my Acura TL. As a first time customer, I was treated like VIP. Tom answered all my questions and kept me updated as the mechanics worked on my car. Fairly priced. Job well done by his team. Very professional and reliable. Communication is never an issue. Safe to say I have found a permanent auto repair shop here in New Haven and no doubt I will be coming back here for future services. Highly recommend!

Horrible. They broke a bolt on our alternator and said it was already like that, then tried to charge us for it. Paid over 700 and my vehicle still wasnt fixed. Never again will we bring our vehicle there

Had front struts repaired right before the pandemic hit, then noticed a really rough ride in the front not even a year later. Took it to a new mechanic, and found that they used the cheapest parts they could find. Will NEVER use them again.

Tom fit me right in. Went over what I needed and what I didnt. Did brakes and rotors in a couple hours. The only complaint was parts were only 120$and bill was 450.

My family has been using Aquilas for a very long time through multiple cars/years. They have always done a great job and have worked with us many times. The staff is friendly and efficient. I highly recommend them if you have car troubles.

Honest mechanics are hard to come by, and I dont give my trust to them easily. I trust Tom, though, and I really cant think of a better compliment than that.

Everything you could ask for in a shop. Brought my Jeep in with a long list of issues. Just had my car fixed here today. I brought it in at 7:30 a.m. to replace the water pump and a belt, took the bus home, and it was done by early afternoon. They were lightning-fast and friendly -- A+ service! This is my new go-to repair shop.

An honest mechanic is a rarity these days. Weve used Aquila many times over the years, and theyve always been impeccably honest. I once had Meineke tell us that we needed all sorts of stuff or else the car would break down at any moment. I then took the car to Aquila and they told me it was a minor issue and charged me a fraction of what Meineke had wanted.

Referred here by a family member and Im so glad I came. Great family business and excellent service for my truck.

Extremely unprofessional. Quoted me $200 for the job and charged me $315, after I paid to have it towed their. They also tried to install a simple battery for $250.00. What crooks, Ill never do business with Aquila Motors again.
