Making an appointment was very easy online. The facility was clean and orderly with seating for patrons waiting for their vehicles. The service writers and mechanics the service writers and mechanics. The service writers and mechanics were polite and knowledgeable. The scope of my work was a tune-up and brake inspection. Once the free assessment was completed the mechanic called me into the garage to point out my worn brake shoes and brake drum. He answered all of my questions about the uneven wear of the shoes and advised that I replaced the drum shoes in all related hardware. The cost estimate for the brake work was well over $600 I believe $685. That was for the brake work alone and the tune-up was $385. I declined the brake work and chose to get the tune up only. The wait was only an hour and a half for the tune-up to be completed. When I was paying for my tune up the service writer said they were able to find cheaper parts and could bring the cost down for the brake job to $475 if I was interested. I was not interested especially when the lower price or best offer was made at the time of my checkout.

This was my fist time at Meineke and my overall experience was great. You feel welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. Chris is very polite, professional and very knowledgeable. His team of car professionals fixed my truck in a timely manner without any problems. I will definitely come back and recommend Meineke to my friends and family. Keep up the good work!

Called to confirm if an appointment was needed for an oil change and I was told No, just walk in (they didnt even take the time to check if there was a space available even thought I let them know Ill be there in a bi). When I walked into the office the first question was: do you have an appointment? Then go back because we dont have space for you lol. If you reading thi, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE. After that, I went into the Lube Center and they were so professional and gave me a great service.

I live in Cecil County, MD but drive 80 mins South into New Carrolton, MD for service at this Meineke because they’re fast, efficient and customer friendly above all. I’ve used this location twice and had a stellar experience both times. My first visit was for a tune-up (spark plugs replacement and a myriad of other services) and my recent appointment was for an oil pan replacement. There’s an associate, Peter, who really makes the experience seamless. Super polite and knowledgeable gentlemen. He really helps to ease my anxiety around car repair. I don’t see myself going anywhere other than this location.

I brought my car in to be serviced I had it towed because the car would not start I took it there they told me I needed a new starter They replaced the starter for me Unfortunately as soon as I drive the car home the car no longer starts again And the only thing I was told is if it starts again to bring it in No offered to have it towed back or anything after I paid him $1088 to have it fixed literally less than 24 hours earlier

Peter failed to let me know that their hours of operations changed due to COVID and that they closed at 5pm, although the time posted on the front door remained the same for 6pm.I dropped off my car for an oil change during my lunch break and was NOT informed by Peter to make sure I picked up my car before 5pm and not the posted time 6pm.Peter called at 4:55pm leaving me a message stating that I needed to pick up my car the next business day since I didnt pick up my car at 5pm. Even though, Peter again failed to let me know that they closed at 5pm when he called at 2:32 pm to let me know my car was ready.Im a consistent customer at this location and am use to the 6pm closing time. At first I thought they were joking. Only to realize that they were serious.I arrived to the store and question why the store sign states 6pm, to which Peter rudely replied it doesnt matter what the sign says, we close at 5pm due to COVID.I have a 3month old baby I have to pick up from the babysitter and I was going to be left without a car because of Peters lack of customer service.Im offended and disturbed by this treatment.I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. Theyve lost a loyal customer.

The service by the mechanics was good and quick. I did not have to wait long at all. The inside was clean & followed the social distance requirements.. The man behind the desk, Chris, was coughing alot & uncontrollably. Even when people were standing at the desk being serviced. That isnt good during this current state with the covid-19 being passed around so rampantly. It made me very uncomfortable, especially since he was touching everyones keys, credit cards, and receipts. I think he shouldve remained home until hes better.. The mechanic who serviced my car wrote some notes for me about issues that he saw with the car. Chris told me such then refused to give me the notes because he said & I quote Youre not going to have the work done here anyway, so let wherever else look at it & tell you what your issues are. I was floored & dont think I would have been spoken to so rudely had I been a man, or had a man with me. Ive been coming to this location for 6+ years and have never been treated so rudely how Chris treated me. They always give me a summary of the work done & the mechanics note. Regardless, the Mechanics were awesome, Chris not at all.

Great customer service. I took my Tesla model 3 to swap tires, I took my mount adapters and informed them of the jack points. They were able to lift the vehicle. The width of the lift arms where a little short for comfort but they were able to lift the vehicle and perform the work in a timely manner. What I really liked was they let me use my own tires, they hadnt done a Tesla before but were willing to service me. Other places I called said we dont do electric, while others where too prod to listen in relation to the mount points. If your a Tesla owner take your jack adapters and see if they can use the arm lifts. Overall: recommend this location.

I took my car in because the Freon was leaking out.Paid $1300.00 for them to find the problem which they failed to do. I ended up with several new parts but was left with the same problem that I originally had.

Awesome service and courtesy. As I was heading to work my car began jerking and moving slow. I was bless to have seen Meineke. There was no wait! They began to work on my car immediately. I went to your shop for an oil change. Although I was very late for my appointment, your manager in duty accommodated me with so much courtesy & professionalism. He also pointed out after the oil change was done that I need to get a diagnostic done on my old 2007 Ford Taurus because he notice a few leaks and suspension problems. I appreciated the heads up with no pressure placed on me as a senior lady. My first encounter with this shop was when I went with my daughter to have a tire replaced on her 2015 Ford Edge several months ago. Chris listened without interruption about my concerns for my car. He didn’t just tell me No, but offered solution. He Explained the cost in great detail. Gave me a time estimate that was accurate, during my wait I witnessed him talking to other guest with the same consistent respect. And offeringBoth short and long term solutions. When some of the mechanics were coming in to the office to dialogue and were a little loud, he escorted them back out to the bay. When I went out to the car in the garage he showed me what was wrong. I wasn’t met with an untidy work station and blaring music. I have been going to the same mechanic for years just accepting any kind of service from the employees with pompous attitudes and explaining things over my head with impatient one word responses. As I just moved to the area I will now be bringing my Car to Meineke. When you know better you do better. 😉

Terrible customer service, bad diagnostics, had to bring vehicle back several times and problem was never fixed, once I got a second opinion I found out it was the head gasket and not the radiator. Find a mom and pop service provider before you go to a corporate service center. Lesson learned.

Clean shop, didnt over sell me.Back again, this time for a new muffler.Better price than two other places I checked. They would have made me wait for an appointment. Here I had it done while I waited in one hour. Get there first thing in the morning.

I always bring my car here . Oil change, custome exhaust work, brake change, yesterday i had all 4 tires put on and alignment. They do excellent work. Will never take my car anywhere else.

So I took my car here cause of a noise coming from the drivers side front wheel. After test driving the car and back to the shop, my car started off again and I figured they used my car to run their personal errand cos I was tracking my car all along and it was parked somewhere further from the shops location for over 15mins. It took 5hrs for me to get a feedback of just what’s wrong with my car and or what needed to be fixed.After everything, I was told the cost of fixing my car was 1700. I took my car and went somewhere else. The same thing they needed 1700 for was fixed with 250 parts and labor.And before I forget, it only took 50mins to get the job done. I was in and out.DON’T GO HERE... THIS PLACE IS SCAM!! And don’t say you weren’t warned!!

Made an inspection appointment online, but they didnt have an inspector present at the time I showed up. They were very courteous and called around to see what other shops could get me in quickly. Also, got my battery checked quickly while I was there. Would definitely go back for other services.

Never again. I came in at 4:15 saying that I needed my rear break pads changed out in order to pass my state car inspection. I made that very clear that’s ALL I needed. I waited till 5:45 and was presented with an estimate of 889.00!! Was told that they can’t change my breaks with out changing my rotors. And had a bunch of other things they say needed to be fixed. Why didn’t they just change out my pads like I asked. Now they don’t get any of my money! Wasted my time!

I have been coming to this Meineke for car service since 2009 or 2010 and have had excellent car care and customer service. It is true that the Korean woman was a miserable miser towards customers, but never to me; she reminded me of the soup chef on Seinfeld: Come in, place your order, sit down and wait until youre called, no more questions. Funny thinking about it. It was always startling (and often times hard watching) her behave so horribly to a customers question or concern about a price or work done on their car. BUT that has all changed! The Wicked Witch Is Gone!!! And there is a rainbow of Excellent Customer Service and Car Care. Seriously, Peter and Karyn and their team of mechanics are really good to their customers. They take your calls and answer all your questions; they take walk-ins and work to squeeze you into their sometimes tight schedule; they add coupons (I never had a coupon and yet they always give me their coupon discount for that week); they check your car WITHOUT CHARGING YOU and provide you with a list of the work (starting with the MOST IMPORTANT to the least important) that needs to be completed. They even let you know how long you can try to go before getting the work done. And they give you a fair price. I know this because I used to take my car to two other different, (Highly recommended by car services) car care centers and those cheating bastards would not only tell me something different their prices raised my blood pressure. One of them I had to request to speak to a manager because the worker wanted me to pay $100 just to look at my car, and the second car center ONLY looked over my car for free after I told him about the first two, but made it clear to me that they dont regularly do that, that its a fee. I will continue bringing my vehicle to Peter and Karyn and their team because they are the BEST at taking care of me and my car (I need my car for my different jobs), and Im not putting my baby in the hands of predators (hiking up prices, charging just to look over my car, telling me that I might have to leave it, or that its an old car and nobody make them anymore). Im done with madness and aggravation, so I come to my place of great service and customer care calm. Peter and Karyn and Team Meineke in New Carrollton, MD. Rock On Yall!!!
