This is the email I sent to the owners of KJ:I visited your store last week after inheriting a 1978 Rolex Submariner and wanting to learn more about it. As soon as I entered the store, Denice West greeted me and I told her why I was there. She proceeded to sit with me at a table with books about vintage Rolexs, looked over my watch with a loop, had other sales experts review the watch too and recommended that I stay for a few more minutes to wait for Roman to arrive as he would enjoy seeing the vintage watch also. Upon his arrival he immediately spoke to me to learn the history of the watch and even took it into his work area to look it over and remove the case back to inspect the movement. All at no charge. He then gave me some recommendations on restoring the watch which was immensely helpful. He also said that he would like to see the watch again in the future if I chose to do any of the restoration recommendations.I cannot express how impressed I was with the team at King Jewelers! Everyone was welcoming and made me feel at home in the store, and I wasnt even there to make a purchase. Terrible experience. From the moment I walked in, I was treated like a peon by a guy named Derrick. I had a FM krypton with tags and box. REtail was over 15k and market value is currently 10-12 anywhere you look. I had an offer out of state but was wondering what a local person would. After they took it to the back, I was told it would be 3k cash or 5500 in store credit. Very unprofessional and low ballers. The “owner” that looked at it never even came out. I’ve already posted this and somehow it was taken down.

I went in earlier this week to get a Rolex authenticated that I was looking to buy from an individual, they said they would do an authentication for $65 plus tax. Although a little high, since they are running a business I can see charging someone for this service so I agreed. The watch was authentic and I paid $71 dollars but to my surprise all I received was a post it note with the serial, model and movement number hand written on it... you would think for $71 they could type out that information on a King Jewelers letter head or something. They put the band back on with the clasp backwards facing the opposite way it was originally and I was also told the watch was not keeping time and needed a servicing so they gave me their inflated prices for that... I have worn the watch for 3 days now and it is keeping time perfect. I am not very happy with my experience because now I have a watch with the band on backwards I have to get fixed and a post it note that anyone could’ve written so it’s hardly proof of authenticity.Update: “Owner” responded to my post saying he spoke to me before I visited the the store which he did not. I am really hoping he just has me mistaken for someone else and isn’t simply lying because I never called before coming in and no explanation of anything was ever given to me. Like I said I thought $65 plus tax was a little high but that’s the price of doing business and I would’ve given you 4 stars at that point but to have the band put back on backwards and no print out of findings, not even on a receipt, then to try to get me to service it at an inflated price when the watch doesn’t need it gets you a 1 Star rating. Check my reviews all the others are 5 stars. If you want to clear things up, I am in your system, call me anytime.

I cant even begin to tell you how happy I am with the ring that Derrick found for me. The best center stone dimensions, weight, cut, color and clarity, and far and away the best setting all within my budget. It honestly was not even close. I searched all of the jewelers in the area, retail, personal jewelers, and did a lot of online comparison shopping. The deal I received at King was unmatched. I was so happy with the ring that I couldnt wait to propose, so Derrick had the ring set and ready to go the very next day!! Obviously she said yes, and I couldnt wait to take her by the store to look at wedding bands. Kings store is so elegant and high-end feeling that you feel proud to take your fiance in and walk around. The ring was about a half size too big, so while we were there Derrick literally had the ring resized and back to us all while we were picking out wedding bands!! Everything from start to finish with King feels high end from the magnetic display cases all the way down to the box the ring is presented in is top notch. Trust me, it makes a difference. Im not saying dont shop around, but Im definitely saying that if you allow King to go to work you, you will not be disappointed!!

My fiance and I went to King Jewelers with her grandmothers ring. Our intention was to use all three diamond in the ring in a new setting.We were quite discouraged after another diamond jeweler just down the street told us that it was impossible to remove the stones from the existing ring because they were cracked and would fall apart upon removing them.Before going home we decided to give King Jewelers a shot. We met with Tim and he was great. He told us that he saw no issue in removing the stones and putting them in new setting. He even took the ring back to his in-house ring designers to get a second opinion. They confirmed that they would be able to remove the stones and use them in any setting which we picked, custom or otherwise.We found multiple 3 stone settings we liked and Tim talked us through the benefit of different shank widths, mounting heights, and settings. We were very confident upon leaving that we knew which ring was going to be perfect for her and that King Jewelers would be able to make it for us.I returned a couple days later and Tim worked with my schedule to make sure that I got the ring before our backpacking trip, during which I was planning to propose (on the bridge on which we first kissed). As promised the ring was ready 8 days later, right before our trip. It was custom made, in-house, with the diamonds shining brighter than they had in probably 20 years.When we walked into King Jewelers Tim treated us with the utmost respect. We never once felt judged for our age or how we were dressed. From previous visits with other jewelers, I expected the price to be quite high, especially given the quality and prestige King Jewelers is known for. However, they gave me a price which I found incredibly reasonable. I sincerely feel like the quality of ring and service we received far exceeded the price we paid. For this I am very grateful.My fiance loved the ring to say the least. Its a special thing seeing your grandmothers diamonds in a new ring, custom designed and built specifically to your liking. With the perfect ring on her finger our engagement is now complete.

Came in to buy a Rolex. They didn’t have the specific model I wanted and Mark told me they would find out if it could be ordered. Never heard back; had to call the store to check on the status. Mark said they had to talk to their Rolex representative. Again, never heard back. Too late because I made the purchase at Bell Jewelers. Maybe because I’m in my 20’s I wasn’t treated like a serious customer. Oh well. Won’t be going back.

Not very knowledgeable about the watches they sell.Got a cleaning there and will never go back.The sales people are pushy a to the point of being obnoxious.

I came in to King Jewelers with my fiance to pick out a gift for my future maid-of-honor. We had, of course, waited until the last minute and were in a bit of a panic, but luckily we found Morgan! Ill be honest and say Im a bit of a difficult shopper - hard to please and frequently struck with buyers remorse. However, this was not the case at your store! Morgan went above and beyond to make sure all of my questions were answered and that I got everything I wanted in a gift. She even took the time to show my (also very picky!) fiance some new watches, which he absolutely loved. We were so fortunate to be paired with such a caring, thoughtful associate, who helped us pick out a gift that my MOH absolutely LOVED - I think she was even a little jealous of all the praises I sung for Morgan :) Thank you to both Morgan and King Jewelers for a wonderful shopping experience! We will definitely be back soon!

Kings had a no pressure approach and at the end of the day I got the highest quality diamond for the best price despite what the other jewelers claimed. My wife is more than pleased with her wonderful diamond/setting and since the initial engagement purchase we have purchased several other pieces from Kings at a great value.
