Maria was amazing!! I brought my dress in for alterations after cancelling my appointment elsewhere due to their bad reviews. I’m a month out from my wedding and was in a panic trying to find a seamstress that could fit me in their schedule. Maria was very nice, understanding, and I am very thankful to her for making room for me. She altered exactly what I asked and did a beautiful job! Not to mention the turn around time was only about a week and a half which was a welcomed surprise. Could not be more happy with the results. Also, she has a beautiful shop with a gorgeous collection of wedding dresses that she hand makes. If you’re looking for a wedding dress I highly recommend visiting her shop first!

Beautiful gowns. The silk fabric my gown was made of kept stretching throughout the evening, so I had to keep the Shaw on. Otherwise, i felt beautiful.

I brought my mothers wedding dress to Maria at Romantic Creations, wanting to wear it for my own wedding under the condition that it could have some alterations to bring it out of the 80s a little. I wasnt even sure these alterations were possible, but after visiting a few different seamstresses, Maria not only assured me that she could do just what I wanted, but was willing to do it for a very reasonable price. She combined two vintage wedding dresses from both sides of the family and made a stunning, bohemian style gown for me. In addition, she made my one year old daughter a custom dress for our wedding. I just picked up my dress all the way from Houston and worth the multiple trips!!! I wish I could visit Maria more often. All her gowns feel amazing due to the high quality of fabrics she uses. She wants every bride to have a custom gown and will alter slight details to make it happen. I wish she lived closer to have formal gowns made as well. She knows how to dress different body types and gives honest feedback.
