The repairman, Leslie, was efficient, professional and fast. Our oven stopped heating while the stove continued to work. He diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and we are back to cooking. Great service.
I ordered a knob for my washing machine and twice it was the wrong knob. They ordered another knob but it was out of stock. In the meantime I found the right knob on another site and now have it. I tried to call them back to cancel my order on Friday at 4:00 in the afternoon and the phone is ringing off the wall No voicemail no one answers the phone. According to their website they do not close until 5:00 p.m. I need to have the charges credited to my charge card. I even showed them the part and they still got it wrong. Will not be using them again.
The experience was optimal. Great service* Everyone was professional, and knowledgeable. They fixed my problem and now my washing machine doesnt leak anymore. I recommend this company to everyone because they do excellent job and provide peace of mind.
Well I was initially grateful for their call, they scheduled a tech to come out to my home. Warranty Coverage under Home Depot. They came the week following the claim. Tech said (nice guy) they needed to order parts and “that they usually take about a week”. Now I am on week 2 of no dryer only a household of 5. Needless to say I pay almost $100 each time at the laundry place. They call me 2 days later and tell me they can schedule me 7/27 that’s when they will have the parts. 2 weeks! Ok fine I schedule wait and pay for the clothes. They come 7/27 the tech says I changed the part but I think you need to get it serviced and cleaned before you use it. Ok schedule that $120 later almost a week later. Tuesday comes I finally get to use the dryer I do one load good l, get to my second one and guess WHAT it shut off won’t work. Welp they did a great job huh?!? Then I call them and they say “can’t help you the claim is closed you’ll have to call Home Depot again” How is that possible you guys didn’t actually fix it just changed parts that didn’t fix the problem! thiefs! None of the women I spoke to on the phone were pleasant or service prone.
Charlie was our technician. He was friendly and professional and prompt. He fixed our problem with no hesitation knew exactly what he was doing. Would definitely use golf coast appliance again and ask for Charlie. He probably should get a raise he is so good LOL
After taking a half day off work for my anywhere from 1-5 appointment, the tech called at 4 to say that he would be here in 40 minutes. Then at 430 the office called to say that he will not be here and that I need to reschedule. No explanation and NO apology! Completely unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. Nothing but an inconvenience to me. This company is contracted with my appliance extended warranty company and definitely not my choice!
I have a brand new Maytag Microwave. Its about three months old. I leave the hood vent light on as a night light. I came home to find the light was not working. I ordered a bulb off of Amazon after I found the part number from Maytag. After replacing the blub the light still did not work. I put in a warranty repair request through maytag.com and this was the repair service Maytag scheduled for me. I made an appointment for Thursday anywhere between 12 noon and 5pm. I blew half a day and I was called at 4pm and told the tech would be running late. No big deal, I told them it was ok, Id wait. Five minutes later I got another call and was told the tech is not going to make it. I was a little annoyed but again, these things happen. I was rescheduled for the next Tuesday afternoon. I do work close to my home so I asked to be called so I could meet the tech and not blow another afternoon. They agreed and life went on. Monday I received a message telling me the Tech would be coming between 9am and 12pm. This now annoyed me more because I was specifically told afternoon the previous week. Tuesday morning I started getting calls asking me about the bulb I used and it would be a 135$ charge if the bulb just needed to be changed. I paid 209$ for the microwave. Finally I had enough with Gulf Coast Appliance Repair and canceled. This is another example of the old adage, if you want something done right, do it yourself. I have a multi meter and a brain thank you!
We called them as a certified provider to whirlpool. We have a refrigerator that is three years old that was freezing up. The first time out, the service person thawed out the ice and checked a setting, then proceeded to tell me that most refrigerators run at anywhere from 42-46 degrees, siting nothing wrong. Immediately after is began to freeze up again, we waited some time to give it a chance to rectify itself, did not happen. They came out again, same guy, this time saying he needed to reset the thermostat. Still no fix, waited some time due to wife going through illness. Then called again, new guy said first guy mis-diagnosed, they changed out a part. Shortly after, still no fix, we began to think we had a lemon. We decided to try once more with another company. He came out and told us the part used was not even the right part, and that previous repair person broke two tabs which let in air. This time, he replaced fan that had broke due to poor repair, and also put OEM original part in. The parr number used by Gulf Coast was not a factory part and had been spliced. Ever since the new company fixed, refrigerator runs perfect. The new company actually did not charge us for the part, as he felt bad about our experience. When i contacted owner, she called and was defensive. I explained what I had learned, provided her with invoices and number of new place because I felt she needed to know what had happened. One of two things occurred, either the techs are incompetent or they dishonestly parts changed. I requested back a refund of $185 less the house call expense, felt I was being fair. I am being ignored, noone has responded. I could not in good faith recommend their service. I will however add here, they were always very nice in communications.
Unprofessionalism at its finest one of their employees in a company issued vehicle threw a small object, a quarter I believe at my windscreen I slowed down and proceeded to ask him why and he started yelling at me like a child saying I’m riding the rear end of his car too bad but it’s 7 am traffic where is there to go ? #14 truck needs serious help if he thinks it is okay to throw an object at a moving vehicle
Great attendance, very helpful in what was required, truly appreciated, greatly appreciated. thank you.
The office personnel were very helpful. They did everything to help me even though the parts I needed were no longer made.
Great service! Highly recommended!
I hope they do a better job of repairing appliances then they do with managing information. I sold my home over a year ago and the new home owner I guess needs repair. Instead of getting their information they used all of my old information. This company has called my wife and I over 5 times and we’ve told them several times we are not the owners anymore. We still receive calls after telling the company this.
Extremely poor service department and complete lack of timely customer service. we have been without our washing machine functioning for three weeks and still getting the run around on when and if it will be repaired or replaced. would never shop there again with what I now know about there service department. it has taken them three weeks to contact Whirlpool to find a part or replace our washing machine which is very much still under warranty. my next call is to the better business bureau, the attorney general for consumer protection and the local news station. complete disregard for customer service
Jake came and waited for me, as I was stuck in traffic. He advised getting a new washer as it was 9 yrs old and $800. To fix. Purchase would be less.Highly recommend.
We had water in our new fridge. They sent a service man (Jake) and he was terrific. He knew the problem immediately and had it fixed in no time. And he took the time to explain what the problem was. Thank you for such great service and for a terrific serviceman. Thanks Jake.
We had a great experience with Gulf Coast Appliance Repair in May of 2018. They were prompt at ordering parts and scheduling repair for our sellers. We had only a few days to make repairs due to an upcoming closing date. Everything turned out great. The office is very professional and the technician was very familiar with the repair issue. I would highly recommend Gulfcoast Appliance Repair. We had a great experience from our first contact to the final repair. Thanks to all the employees there. Teamwork is obviously emphasized and appreciated.
Larry did an excellent job.
Our Frigidaire refrigerator was no longer keeping a proper temperature. We contacted Gulf Coast Appliance Repair. We had a great experience with everyone we had contact with. The front office staff was diligent, helpful and as accommodating as possible. Heather and Adriana were terrific to deal with and made communicating simple and kept us informed. We had Martin as our technician. He was very knowledgeable, professional and very polite. He explained everything he was doing and why. He was better than some doctors in how he communicated with us and the details regarding our repair. We are more than satisfied and will call on Gulf Coast whenever our equipment fails. I recommend them and I feel you will have a good experience as well. Thanks, Tony Kasper Fort Myers Beach
I am very pleased with the service at Gulfcoast Appliance Repair. They are very professional, have a friendly staff, and have knowledgeable technicians. Ill be recommending this company to my friends and family. Thanks!
I will never use these people again........came to my house on July 11 2019 to fix the clothes dryer.Part had to be ordered. Charlie (our tech) checked and confirmed he will have the part the following day.Received a call later that day that a mistake was made and it would take a week to receive the part.My husband and I live in Virginia, we had to get back so we scheduled an appointment for our next trip which would be in October. So I scheduled an appointment for October 1st but I asked to be in the morning.Justin confirmed it would be early morning. On September 30, I get a call that a tech should arrive between the hours of 11am and 2pm.............you would think that between July and October, someone would have had the decency to warn us about them changing the time of the appointment. I will never use their service again due to their unprofessionalism with customer. They don’t care about your time.
OUTSTANDING SERVICE WORK! The service technician and the office staff was exceptional today. My new appliance was delivered last week from a local dealer and the wall oven did not work. Today was the first time I tried to use it to test it before Thanksgiving. When It did not work I called the dealer and they dealer recommended I call this company and they were out in 2 1/2 hours pulled the whole wall oven out of the wall and noticed a loose connection at the plug. The technician re-wired it and then spent another 30 minutes at my house demonstrating how the unit works with the meat probe and the rotisserie. Thank you for the prompt service.
My refrigerator was leaking onto my hardwood floors and they were able to fix it in about 15 minutes. Awesome techs, awesome office support. Everyone has been very nice and helpful. Great job.
I am so happy with this Company. After waiting on another company that came out said they had to order a part we waited over 3 weeks for them to come back to fix the refrigerator. They never called or came out. So We called Gulf Coast with in a day they sent Jeremy out. He was so polite, friendly and knowledgeable. He explained what and why. Then he fixed the refrigerator. Just so happened he had the part in his truck. Thank you Jeremy and Gulf Coast.
See a lot of not so good reviews, but Marie was helpful and knowledgeable about warranty work and sending someone Monday (3 days from now). Have talked with Marie in the past and the service tech at that time was prompt, courteous and fixed our problem right away.
Ive used you more than once and am happy. I am not sure about your rates but you diagnosed the problem correctly (that Diamond Appliance misdiagnosed) and since you are an Authorized Kitchen Aid repair company, you got the parts covered. Thanks!
I wanted to write and give a HUGE Thank You to Matt at Gulfcoast Appliance. He is the most professional and knowledgeable Service Technician that I have ever dealt with!! He came to repair the ice maker on our refrigerator, and after 2 minutes, he knew exactly what it needed. It was actually a factory manufacturing defect in the door and completely different than what my husband and I thought. He confirmed the ice makers issue was a factory door defect and then provided a temporary fix, until we can get the new door. He even called us the next day to follow-up regarding the temp. fix, and to see if it was still working. I was so happy that Matt was able to diagnose the problem, provide a temporary solution and a permanent repair. I was expecting to be conned into an over-priced part, just to have something else go wrong a few months later, but Matt truly proved me wrong. Thank you Matt and Gulfcoast, for being so honest and restoring my faith that there are dependable and trustworthy service techs in the appliance repair industry. If you ever need an appliance repaired, do yourself a favor and call Gulfcoast and ask for Matt. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Tammy Walsh, Cape Coral, FL.
The worst customer service!!!! Wish I could leave 0 stars. Scheduled an appointment and told them we needed first thing in the morning said okay then they call the day before to confirm that they would be out in the afternoon with a 4 hour window, so rescheduled for the following week same thing first thing in the morning.....no problem they said.....now a week later they call to confirm and say they will be out in the afternoon again with a 4 hour window! Now they say they will reschedule again out another week......I already know this isnt going to go well! Had the same problem last time I needed service from them so it seems to be the norm for them.
Not having a good experience at all. Refrigerator still leaks water. Been working on this since March. Days taken from work. Theyre the second company involved. Theyve been here 4 times. When I call manufacturer they say gulf coast is not submitting appropriate paperwork so back to square one yet again. Hate it!!😱😱😱😱😱😱
WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. BRUCE CAME TO MY HOME AND WAS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND VERY FRIENDLY. HE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS DOING AND TOOK HIM NO TIME TO GET MY WASHER BACK UP AND RUNNING. THE OFFICE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND DID EVERYTHING THEY COULD TO GET ME ON THE SCHEDULE IN A TIMELY MANNER. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ALL APPLIANCE REPAIRS!!
Zach in parts was extremely helpful in finding the part I needed to repair the electrical connection for my oven. He had the part waiting up front for me when I arrived. Great customer service!
Jasmine in the office is wonderful! I had missed my appointment and she immediately got in touch with my technician and got him to come back out. Very understanding company who put my needs first. Randall came out installed a few parts now my washer is in working order.
So happy Gulfcoast could fix my wine cooler, not even a year old and it was not cooling. They confirmed my appointment and the tech called when he was on the way. From scheduling to service, everything was easy and pleasant. Thank you Gulfcoast.
Helen at the office was very friendly and considerate. She went out of her way to give me the day and time slot I needed so I could leave on vacation with all of my appliances fixed!! So, when I got home, I didnt arrive to a head ache! Thank you so much Helen! :)
They are the best appliance repair company around! I called to schedule service and those girls are so helpful and very coordinating. They are so flexible with scheduling, they even go on Saturdays! :-) Technician arrived and told me exactly what was wrong with my dishwasher and got it repaired! I will only use Gulfcoast.... Thank You Gulfcoast for a wonderful service!! :-) :-) :-)
I had a technician come out to my house for refrigerator repair last week. Parts had to be ordered and an appointment was set for today to fix the fridge. I never got a confirmation phone call. My wife had to take a day off work to meet the technician for the second visit. Apparently technician visited the house and left a card. The doorbell was not rung and no knock at the door. Our dogs would have gone nuts barking if that was the case. We were not called on the phone as well. Now we have to wait another week without a fridge because we missed the appointment and they refuse to come back to the house.
Great service, technician was really friendly and efficient. When I called the office to set up an appointment they were very accommodating to my busy schedule. Wonderful company, will definitely use again!
UPDATE TO PREVIOUS REVIEW. ----- About a week after posting the review below, we received a call from Gulf Coast advising that since they were unable to fix our washer they were refunding our payments except for the cost of the original service call. Very fair, so I have upgraded my review. Still didnt trouble shoot the problem correctly. We have a five year old Whirlpool Cabrio which is making an unbelievable loud noise in the spin cycle. The repairman shows up my wife tells him it is so loud you can hear it in the back yard with all the doors closed. He tells her it needs new springs to balance the tub. Cost is $300 but needs to get parts and return. Returns three days later, installs springs and then decides to ACTUALLY TURN ON AND RUN the washer. My wife thinks it is now louder than before. The repairman tells her he fixed what she told him the problem was. He never actually troubleshot the problem, never turned the washer on until $300 wasted dollars. Why is it my problem that the repairman is incompetent. I was not home or they would not have been paid. On the invoice he wrote; ran quick cycle, all okay. All was not okay, this is an untruthful statement.Lastly, he then said it needs new bearings which is a $900 repair or the cost of a new machine. This is likely the worst experience we have had with a repair service.
I typically do not leave reviews on companies but I feel Gulf Coast Appliance deserves this good review. I had a dishwasher unit malfunction, the first tech came in and diagnosed the issue, part came in a week later and was installed by a different tech, (Matt). After install it was determined that there was a simpler and cheaper fix and the service was performed. The invoiced amount was discounted for the unneeded part. There needs to be more companies like Gulf Coast Appliance to accept responsibility and provide excellent customer service. They will be getting a lot of referrals from me
I scheduled a service appointment online and it was confirmed. I called them 5 times before the appointment and left them a voice mail and they never called me back. On the day of the appointment they were a no call/no show. Dont waste your time with them. I had to schedule another appointment with someone else.
Waited all afternoon for the booked service call. At one point I was told the repair person was on the way and would be there in 45 minutes. Didnt happen ! Wasted my entire afternoon. Then I couldnt get hold of them because it was after hours. Not very good service. Not happy at all. Now I am going to have to wait again!
Be Warned! I dont usually post about a company but my experience with Gulf Coast Appliance Repair & Parts Center was awful. My stove broke and I was trying to decide if I should fix it or replace. When I contacted Gulf Coast for a repair quote, I asked how much it would cost to diagnose and if that went towards the repair. I was told $85 if I did not hire for service and that amount would go towards the repair if I had it done. The quote for the repair was over $300 but my husband decided it was worth it. The quote was in writing my husband confirmed it with the technician several times. My story is still good. Part came several weeks later, technician fixed and we were charged the amount quoted. About a week later, I received a phone call that I was being billed $85 for labor because the manufacturer of my stove did not pay the labor. Huh? My stove is from 2006 and I never contacted the manufacturer about it breaking. So I guess the $330 was just for the part? I got to talk to the manager and tried to explain that I would NOT have repaired the stove if the quote had been any higher. She was VERY rude and finally got tired of me declining accepting the new bill and put me on hold. After 40 minutes, I realized that she would not be returning to the phone. I hung up and called back. She had left for the day. Yes, pick your jaw up and laugh. Youre Welcome from being saved from hiring a company that does NOT treat customers kindly nor follow the law.
We could not be more satisfied with our service. We have a warranty with Frigidaire, and our freezer was not working. The repair was done with absolute proficiency. Therefore, I felt I had to recommend Darryl, the service man and Gulf Coast Appliance the company
Needed parts for a dishwasher rack. Phoned and service was fast and helpful with the part needed in stock that was available for pickup same day. A+. Thanks guys!
This the worst appliance repair company I have ever dealt with. They are the warranty company for the extended warranty from Good Deals. They would not be in business if it wasnt for this contract. You never see the same technician, and the first thing they do is read the directions on how to try to fix the problem. Then they tell you the part you need will be there in five days. The day before they tell you the part never came in and they will call you back. That is a joke. You have to call them. I was without ice from my ice maker for 6 weeks. This scenario of calling and canceling is their standard runaround. I will never deal with them again.
If I could give them zero stars I would. The worst in customer service I have ever experienced. If you dont have a warranty and self pay stay away from them and go with a better company. After having to reschedule with them 4 times because they would not show in the time frame given and waited now a total of 24 hours in 3 appointment times and they dont care when you call to complain about it. I called warranty company and they put me with a company that not only confirmed their time frame ahead of time but showed up on time. Maybe this company can learn from others.
I bought my washer from Good Deals and they were amazing. When I was starting to have problems with my washer, they gave me GulfCoasts number. Ive never been so pleased with a service company. They did an amazing job and I now have a washer again to do my laundry. A+++ for Good Deals and for GulfCoast. I will always go back to them when in need and I will be sure to tell all of my friends! Thank you so much!!
Very glad to have chosen gulf coast appliance to fix my dishwasher. Applaud Christina for getting me booked the same day service. Thank you to Christina and all the staff.
This place is amazing all the staff are very nice, specially Heather Orr she was very professional and kind and helped me with the exact problem I was facing! The repair men are also very nice and well Mannered! Thank you GCA!
Charlie is amazing he came out and fixed my ice maker 2 hours later I had ice! Very friendly office defiantly would recommend!
After calling for a service appointment I found out it would be over a week before they could come out. Totally not acceptable, I called another service center.
I needed my microwave repaired and I called gulfcoast to find out if it was worth even fixing, the office staff was very helpful and friendly and when Steve in the parts department gave me a quote I decided not to go ahead with the repairs.Thank you gulfcoast for being honest and saving me money.I would really recommend this company.
Waited 4.5 for service..said between 9 and 1! At 1:40 called and said rain an issue..really? We dont live in Midwest with a foot of snow! They said wouldnt be able to service for another week! Pathetic! All under warranty! DO NOT USE! The lady who answered said Warranty spelled my name wrong??? How about address! Pathetic! Took day off and she was rude and blames the rain! Laughable!
I have a contract with Home Depot for Repair Warranty for my washer. Called their 800 number for service on May 23rd, the first repair man came looked at washer said he had to order the tub ring and tub on 28th, the repair was scheduled for June 4th and they called after we waited all day and said they over booked and would set another appointment and again did not show up, then they rescheduled for the 14th, the repairman did show up and then said he needed to order another part a pump this time, they then sat an appt for 14thAnd did not show up again after we waited all afternoon. Called Home Depot and they said they could not start with another company because the original one had ordered the part. Been without a washer for 3 weeks and still waiting for repair.
Most professional company Ive ever dealt with . Friendly staff at office and very knowledgeable technicians. God bless you all . Especially the ones that have to deal with the abuse from angry customers that treat you like you invented and sold the product to them . Sometimes adults are worse than spoiled kids crying about a toy that broke .. Hats off for biting your tongue and making it through the day peacefully without letting them take your energy =)
Very pathetic operation. First tech made diagnosis and ordered parts. Different tech came back. Needed more parts. Another different tech came back still needed parts. Finally, a fourth different tech completed job. Maybe they should sent the same tech from start to finish as then the customer won.t have to explain to each tech what the previous tech did. Nearly a month. Lots of time wasted on my behalf and I know they dont care and neither does LOWES. I would never use them again. Oh, I forgot to mention the worthless office staff.
FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT SERVICE! They accommodated my time frame so I could pick up my kids and asked me several questions to come prepared with the parts that were needed. This is the second time I used them and I will be calling them again for any future repairs.
Pleasure doing business with Gulf Coast Appliance Repair last week. They are a fantastic company that I had the pleasure to invite into my home to fix the issues made by my refrigerator. Two unsuccessful attempts made by other companies led me to Gulf Coast Appliance and they were the ones to finally fix the problem. Well done.
I scheduled an appointment for saturday Dec 1st online, I received 2 emails confirming my appointment previous to The appointment. The date of the appointment they called at 9:33 am and was told they didn’t have a tech to come out. They were suppose to be here from 8-12. I do not have a warranty and was going to be a self pay customer. The lady who called was very friendly however I will never use such an unrealiable company to service any of my whirlpool appliances.
Absolutely a rip off! This is the company that Good Deals recommends and let me tell you that it is a Bad Deal! They will tell you that their $95 service charge includes any parts that have to be ordered and they dont charge you for an additional trip charge however they basically jack up the cost of the part and add a ridiculous labor charge. The wanted $232 for a $50 dollar part which I purchased off Amazon and it took me 5 minutes to install with two clamps.
Just wanted to say a huge thank you for Edel for coming to fix my refrigerator! He was really polite and friendly. Great experience!
Made an appointment for first thing in the AM, between 8 and 8:30 due to my work obligations. Was told the tech would call 30 minutes in advance. Also told the diagnosis call charge is $90. I knew what was wrong and told them what parts to bring. I called at 8:15, no answer, left a message. No call back so I called again, at 8:30. I was told the tech was stuck in traffic. (Naples in the summer...) He arrived around 9 am. Brought the part, fixed in 10 min. Labor charge---$119.00 plus the part. Called the office and was told that is parts plus labor. I dont get it. Would not recommend them. Oh yeah, Found the part online for $66 they charged $179.00 for that part. My regular guy was on vacation and I could not wait any longer to get it repaired. Never again. I will wait for Dons Budget Appliance as he is Fair-Honest. Ill add the tech was fine, courteous and was not aware I was quoted $90.
Horrible Service. I was told parts were not available anymore....buy a new washer. I found the part on Amazon and had it in two days. Then it took 20 days from my first service call to get them back to install it! I went 20 days with a broken washer! Do not use these people.
Rip off...95.00 service call to tell us the refrigerator is supposed to make that much noise. cooling fan for ice machine so loud it keeps me up at night. well i will take your credit card now for the 95.00 this is what you get today....ripped off
Zack was excellent and researched a part that had been change by manufacturer...he sure knows the business
I wish I could do 0 stars! This is the WORST customer service ever!!!!!After one month of waiting, parts ordering and so on I was promised that someone will come first time in the morning which is 9am. Called them 3 times, 12.30, nobody came. I was supposed to be at work and they just ruined my whole day and I let other people down.
Thanksgiving weekend we called in a repair for the warranty. It only took 2 appointments to get a diagnosis on my dryer (the first was rescheduled twice for the same day then the tech refused to come out because he was behind schedule & it was late). Finally comes out December 6th. Dryer belt is broken. Ok, not a big repair. Shouldn’t be an issue. Supposedly ordered the part 2 days after they were out to diagnose it. Call us back to schedule for the 27th of December to make actual repair. Apparently they feel it’s reasonable to schedule repairs 3 weeks after coming out for a diagnosis. A part which can literally be purchased online for $30 and shipped in 2 days.I made at minimum 15 phone calls plus an in person visit to Good Deals Appliances in order to get this resolved in a timely fashion. Between the “customer service” manager at Good Deals (both Fort Myers & Cape Coral), the management at Good Deals, the owner of Good Deals and this company I would never recommend purchasing one of their appliance warranties lest you become stuck in a situation similar.
The girls in the office are all amazing, very helpful. Great service, would definitely recommend. :)
Great service and experience with this company! Fast and friendly...treated us like family! I definitely recommend Gulf Coast Appliance Repair to any one looking for a quality company like this one to fix their appliances!
Had my washer repaired this afternoon. The whole process, all the way from the girls in the office to the tech was truly professional.
Gulf coast always there when I need them I work for a rental community their office staff always very professional when I call for service and when I need them there the same day they make it happen thanks heather and everyone else in the office and thank you Derrick for being a professional at what you do thank you gulf coast appliance keep up the great work would recommend you guys in a heart beat
Pretty sick of our warrenty company sending this company out to fix our appliances. Multiple times my wife and I have taken off of work for them to never call and never show up. And the one time the did show up (after a no show and waiting a whole other week because they said they couldn’t manage any sooner) they called my wife at work to say they were 10 minutes away (@10) and the appointment wasnt until 12! And to top it of, 6 months later and the part is cracked!
Excellent company! Received outstanding customer service. Defiantly going to recommend!
Gulfcoast Appliance Repair (Bruce) was awesome. Had a problem with our refrigerator and upon arriving to inspect it Bruce knew within 1 minute what the problem was. Unfortunately a part had to be ordered and when Bruce came back for the repair, the repair was done correctly and no time was wasted. Thanks Gulfcoast!
This company has no regard for customer service nor satisfaction. I waited for well over a month before they called me back the fist time dealing, with these people even though they said the part would be in by Monday (5 days from service). No big deal. Unfortunately,i waited so long I went back and got a new refridgerator and had it for 2 weeks by the time they called. Now, I had an issue with my new refridgerator, in which case they ordered the part and said between 12-5pm. They call 10 minutes before getting there (requested a half hour window and they call at 11:15) so my wife had to rush home to let the guy in to find it was the wrong part (hey mistakes happen right? No big deal, again I guess). Now we have had this issue for a month and today was suppose to be the day it gets fixed between 8am-12pm. No call, no show, and closed now. Horrible customer service.
Weve had gulfcoast out for most of our appliances- and matt has been out for almost all of them. hes always polite, helpful, and gets the problem fixed without needing to come back over and over this last visit on our washer, matt diagnosed that our washer gearcase was shot and damaged the rest of the unit and would need new gear case & basket. andrea called us not long after and told us what she had told our extended warranty and promised us an update when she had one. our update is we are getting a new washer!!! thank you matt as always and thank you andrea for working with our warranty!!!
Excellent friendly helpful service a pleasure to deal with.
Do not show up when they say they will, have had appointment pushed 3 times. All of my food is ruined without a working fridge for over 48 hours, they did not try to accommodate me at all. When I told them my small child had a dr appointment that could not be rescheduled they pushed me even further down the line rather than rearranging their schedule to fit my needs since they werre at fault. Had a supervisor hang up on me. The worst customer service I have experienced in a long time.UPDATE:: Anyway, gulf coast called and they said they can come out tomorrow anytime until 2:00. They said they would only come if someone remove the google complaints about them. This is illegal, its called extortion.
If I could give this company a -5, it still wouldnt be enough. I had an appointment scheduled for Friday from 1-5. I had to rearrange my schedule, including child pick up from dchool and daycate to accommodate this time frame. I received a call at 4:47pm from a representative of the company asking me if it was ok if he came after 5pm. I stated it would not be a problem. I received a call from the technician at 6:18 pm stating he will not be able to repair our dryer at ALL and postponed it until tomorrow end of the day. Are you kidding me?!! I called the office the next day (Sat.), I explained my dilemma with a woman by the name of Alicia and simply requested if I be seen first thing in the morning considering I was a postponed service call from the day before, she told me she cant do that. Seriously!? Then, she proceeded to ask me if I will pay for gas for the service tech to leave his current job to come to my home. After I recomposed myself from the baffling look on my face, I said I will pay it. She didnt have a response. This company has no regard for individuals, their families, and the importance of time. I WOULDNT ADVISE ANYONE TO HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!
Thanks for reparing my oven in time for Thanksgiving. Fantastic
The people hired here.....man, on a different level. I can never explain it, but maybe you can! 5 stars all the way
When contacting this company and communicating with a couple of their employees I was amazed at how rude they were and how disrespected I felt. Basic courtesy should be given to everyone, that should be a minimum expectation. You never know who your next customer could have been.
I ASKED THE SERVICEMAN FOR HIS CARD AND HE WOULDNT GIVE ME ONE; WOULD NOT TELL ME HIS NAME! I TOOK HIS PHOTO WITH MY CELL PHONE, AS HE HELD UP HIS HANDS OVER HIS FACE. WHAT A SHAM!!! DO NOT USE GULFCOAST APPLIANCE; THEY ARE NOT HONEST OR REPUTABLE!! I had a warranty on a stove top from hhgregg. Half of the Whirlpool stove top only heated to simmer, while the other half operated correctly. Gulfcoast Appliance was hhgreggs company to do repairs. A repair man came out and looked at the pots warming on the stove and it was apparent that the right side did not heat as the left side did. He called Whirlpool and the repair man said that was how it was suppose to work, that not all the 5 burners should be working at maximum heat. He then said I needed toPAY the service charge since my stove was working!!!! I showed him the water in the one pan that wasnt even boiling after being on the stove for a half hour, and another simmering. I gave him a paper on the warranty but he said the stove was working.
Very knowlagable staff and technicians, squeezed me in no problem and I would highly reccomend
I have dealt with them twice so far so good
Not recommended. Hate to post such a negative review, but our recent experience with Gulfcoast Appliance was terrible. They were unprofessional, and they gave they impression that they dont really know what they are doing. Too bad, because we like to support local businesses, but Gulfcoast was a huge disappointment.
Called for error code on Electrolux dishwasher, machine would not clear. Technician sucked out water with wet vac and removed panel on door $85 charge but said it would be an additional $240 for a sensor if he had to come back. Said it would take up to 5 days for wires to dry out to see. 5 hours latter the error code clears. The problem is this time the machine is leaking. I called Dr. Appliances for a 2nd opinion. The panel was not proper replaced (loose screw) causing it not too seal. He tightend the screw and know it works. I would not reccommend Gulf Coast Appliance
Very accommodating and great pricing
I agree, this company has no regard for customer service or satisfaction. Unfortunately I have a 5-year contract with them.
We were very happy with Tom our repairman . He was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable. We would absolutely recommend Gulf Coast Appliance.
The women that work in the office at Gulfcoast Appliance repair are on the ball. They work so hard to get everything right
I would just like to thank Gulf Coast Appliance Repair to fix my dishwasher in time before my family came down from up north. Thank you!
