We love Home Depot. Excellent staff. We liked the fact they cut our pine plywood to exact measurements. Our desk project was much easier with the help and services Home Depot offer.

I do all my shopping on line then pick it up in store. They are fast to get my order together. And its never even once been wrong

Its always so hot and mucky in the store its hard to shop. I would spend a lot more money in this store if they would turn up the AC and cooler customers off. Staff is friendly, I feel sorry for them working in those kind of conditions.

Received a special order there because the last one I had delivered to the house was damaged. Well thankfully there clerk opened this one and it was damaged.. So they did my reorder again. I pray that its not damaged as well . The employees at this Home Depot are on their toes. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the department they work.

Found what I was looking for after wandering around forever. Grabbed some wood and asked for it to be cut. I wanted the end to be the style of a piece of fence on top. They don’t cut it into angles just straight. Love wandering the garden section and finding new plants.

Best customer service experience at a DIY store in years.

Stopped by tonight and got helped by a wonderful man named Eric. He went above and beyond helping us find what we needed. He literally got down on his knees to look! He mentioned he was supposed to technically be working this morning and joked about us being lucky he was there and we agreed! We hope he doesn’t get in too much trouble for confusing his schedules, he’s a gem and in this job market Home Depot would be LUCKY to have and keep such an A+ employee!

Helpful ladies in the garden department helped my mom and I find totes. I was very happy to find help since it is the busy season. However the cashier needed to be better trained as we had seven totes stacked up and she didnt look inside them. I am knowledgeable in this area as I used to work for Home Depot in the returns department as well as being a head cashier and cashier trainer

I like the prices and that I can always get what I need. I do wish the employees werent so difficult to find, but when I do they usually try to help at least. A few more with real know-how would be nice.

Just finished our 4th full flip in 2 years.On the last project, we had about $150 of small items that needed to be retuned. Went to return the items today and the store manager was unable to process a return.WHAT? We have 2 Home Depot credit cards, buy everything with our Pro account. We have literally spent $50k in this store on the last 24 months. And somehow a small basket of items purchased in the last six months cant be returned? Are you kidding?Will not be shopping at Home Depot. They certainly havent had any trouble taking our credit card payments.Terrible return policy.Terrible management, not able to do do anything.Ridiculous.

Wish the customer service was better. It is difficult to get help and when you ask a question a employee will just point. A couple weeks ago a actual helpful employee was nice enough to tell my wife and I that if we find the item we are looking for on the website it will show where it is located in the store. Thank you to her. ... About 4 weeks ago my wife and I scooted a refrigerator across the floor because all the carts were outside and we passed 3-4 employees who just looked the other way. They get the 3 stars because they actually had the item I was looking at when Lowes was out of stock.

Decent selection. Although it took me forever to find 1 particular item and was given directions to an aisle/Bay that didnt exist. But the employee was going off his handheld info so not his fault.

I normally have a good experience at Home Depot with great salespeople. Today, however I tried to get out to the garden center and a salesman with his cart was blocking the aisle and speaking with a saleswoman. I squeezed by and when I came back through about 20 minutes later, they were still in the same spot. I had to wait for another lady to squeeze through, and a shopper with a cart had to wait for me as we couldnt pass together. I stated such to the salesman and he didnt have a clue. Maybe the management needs to reevaluate how many employees they actually need if they have that much time to talk.

Extremely understaffed and many of the people they have are incompetent. I placed an order over two weeks ago and paid for delivery. It took them 5 tries before they were able to complete the delivery. They delivered broken window, wrongs sizes and wrong products. They finally got it right today. I also attempted to order some hardie board from them and was first told they didnt have it or know what it was. I had to talk with four different employees and show them where the product was in the store, before they could get my order made. The only bright spot was the young ladies that answered the phone and helped me get it straightened out. Home Depots is now off my list and I will take my business to Lowes which is right across the street. If I could give them a minus on stars I would. Their mistakes cost me time and money

Waited 45 minutes in the curbside pickup. Went inside and store was severely understaffed and I was not offered even an acknowledgment of the wait time, so I ended up cancelling the order and leaving. It would be wise of management to suspend curbside pickup if they are unable to handle the demand for that service or offer proper training to the staff. If I was even shown the location of the item I would have happily grabbed it myself, trucked it out to my vehicle, and they would have retained a long time customer.

Home Depot people were cooperative and helpful with my questions here. Go and visit them soon. Will have the stock they advertise! Go soon, support your store!🙂😉👍

Great assortment of plants and flowers right now...

Freaking joke and useless people. We ordered curbside, they said they’d be with us soon. They brought other people’s out and not ours. We waited 45 minutes and then went in. They were all standing around talking and laughing, ignoring phone calls and people waiting in line. There were probably 10 of them there doing absolutely nothing, so there was no reason they couldn’t bring our order out. They made us go find a cart for our order and then were mad when it took us so long to find a cart to fit our order. There were about 4 men there and they made my husband and I load about 180 pounds by ourselves and just watched. Apparently nobody likes to do their jobs here. I’ve never seen such a lazy group of freaking people.

We bought 2 new jeld wen windows and the framers installed them in my new shop. They both have dents and the sash is broken and dont match up and they have big gaps in the corners like they were cut an inch short. Had I saw this before they were hung Id taken them back. Funny thing is the helper help me load these in my truck and he asked if I Had checked them for damage. He said the last guy had one with a crack in the glass in his. Not happy right now, my metal siding is being installed tomorrow .

Bought a whole home of carpet and went through Home Depot to get it installed. Installer was given the wrong carpet. Installers installed it anyway. Ruined my family’s summer. Could be weeks before the issue is fixed. A total and complete disgrace.Additionally they nicked up a few wall corners and pieces of trim while installing the carpet as well.Will update if they fix

The customer service department was overwhelmed today there were at least 13 people in line behind us and the only person working at the counter was Ana.The phones were ringing off the hook and no one was answering them. And I remain completely calm helped us find all the things we needed and get our delivery order made set up our credit account and was very patient with us as we work through our order. Her composure for the stressful situation was amazing. Someone needs to get her some help and get those dang phones answered! And give Ana a raise.

My 100 pound daughter asked if one of the several men employees hovering around checkout could help load 8 sheets of plywood and roofing shingles. That was a NO. What has this world come to?

Poor Customer Service. Standing in line for long time and when finally someone willing to help they didnt ask if we needed help. They helped people after us. They lost $ 1,000 sale to Lowes. Great job Nampa!

Bad traffic flow in the front of the store. For the second time, I have been stuck waiting in the checkout line because I had a bulky item and they could not or would not help. In stead, they call other customers to the checkstands with little space and leave the big order to pound sand and wait for whatever issue at the cashier is resolved. I dont appreciate being punished because I have an order that is bulky. H.D. needs to figure out a better way of helping customers check out.When I spoke to an assistant manager about this, she said, sorry and thank you for telling me. The employees are generally very helpful and pleasant. The managers, dont seem to have a clue.The problem is that they dont change. I guess I will change and start shopping at Lowes instead. :(

I’m like a total Tom boy the second I walk into this place I love the customer service they provide is top shelf, they are so knowledgeable so I don’t have to worry that I’m going to purchase the wrong thing. They take time in find out exactly what you need and what’s the application you’ll be needing it for like plumbing, electrical, interior, exterior etc.... all to ensure you’re getting the right product for the right job before you leave their store. For me that is huge they don’t rush you and they’re just a great great staff. I appreciate all of the the products that they have as well such a wide variety.... I never leave their disappointed. I will remain a loyal customer to them.

Still a lot of empty shelves. I saw a home depot employee trying to thread galvanized pipe. And teach a younger employee. Some one is going to get hurt if the employees are not trained properly. Could be a customer. If you need pipe threaded ask how much training does the employee have. For your benefit.

Lilly in the paint department is awesome! Tonight we went in for cabinet paint and rollers and she helped us get what we needed. Lilly is very knowledgable, friendly and quick at what she does. She was able to assist multiple customers at ones all while being alone in the paint department. Thanks Lilly!

Pickup a few items that I needed to install a new hot water heater.

The return dept needs more training. Took 4 xs to get my transaction done and almost each customer in line was having problems with them. This was the Nampa store.

I like going to home Depot, they have things that other big box stores do not have and vice versa. I own a small construction company and I am always in the store no matter if I am in oregon or Boise and even in meridian. Home depot is the only place I know that carries batteries for some of my tools. I recommend going in just to check out what they have.

I purchased new appliances in May, they could not be delivered until 6/5/21. I called that morning to get an ETA and was told my appliances did not get on the truck so next available delivery was 7/10/21! I told them that it was not acceptable and that if I had not called no one would have notified me. The lady was trying to contact the 3rd party delivery people and kept going to voicemail. I called Home Depot and spoke to Steve (manager) while on the phone with him, the delivery company called. Sara states very rudely that I could not get my delivery until July 10 and when I told her that it was not acceptable that I am w/o a fridge. She then said fine June 10th. I get back on the phone w/ Steve and he sent my complaint to the Escalation Team. I still have not heard back from neither Steve or the Escalation Team. I did go to Home Depot on sunday left a message for Steve (did not receive a call back), I called Home Depot on Monday 6/7 left another message from Steve and no call back. I called back later that day and spoke to Cathy who was much nicer and did offer to compensate. As of yet I have not heard back from Steve nor have received my fridge which I am supposed to get tomorrow. I feel this has been handled very poorly, their customer service skills are seriously lacking, communication is horrible. But what I did receive promptly was the bill for appliances I still have yet to receive. Someone needs to make this right. I am hoping that Home Depot actually reads their reviews and actually will do something about this so the next customer doesnt have to deal with what Ive had to deal w/ the last week.

We bought windows for our home more than a year ago. We are still waiting for the last window to be put in. As for all the other window installations, there was much to be desired. They told us nothing about having to get frames around the outside to get some semblance of a finished job. We have other projects we normally would go to The Home Depot but well be going elsewhere.

Got direction to a item, was the wrong isle. It happens. It was a hit and run for me. Product wise, got what I paid for.

Needed a chain link hinge. I got help to find item. Clerk said two possible locations for part I needed. Once we found the hinge part, I found out that the hinge does not come with a bolt to attach to the chain link post. So then I have to go to the fasteners isle and get the bolts for the hinge. .... For info, some of the chain link parts have bolts. It is totally unknown why other parts come with bolts when hinges dont. Totally a pain to get what I needed.

I did find the parts I needed. However, I did not find any homes for sale inside and left a bit confused.

I shop here quite often if you cant find what youre looking for the staff is very helpful as always if theyre busy I just jump on the app and it takes me right to the correct spot in the store... At this time they are completely out of air conditioning units sorry guys

Cashiers used to work here but now it is all self check out with people watching your cart as if you are a thief....I dont want to check my own purchases out but it really pisses me off that they think youre a thief when you do.And.....if you want me to use a cart return, put one more than 30 from the storefront! I will be more tempted to take a cart to the store next door than walk it all the way back to the Home Depit entry....especially after checking out my own parts.

Didnt have standard polypipe right with all of the sprinkler irrigation parts. They did have some form of flexible plumbing pipe with them. If you are looking for polypipe for a sprinkler system it cannot handle 200psi...

I ordered a dryer with this Home Depot that was scheduled to arrive a month out. I waited the month and they called me the night before to confirm the delivery date and gave themselves a 5 hr window to arrive. I got the day off work just for the occasion and waited at home all day. They never showed up and they never called. At 5:30 I called them myself and got an automated system that told me that the delivery had been scheduled for another month out!! I will never work with them again! I think a call wouldnt have been too much to ask for! Very unprofessional. I will be taking my business to Lowes from now on

I went to Home Depot last Saturday afternoon. It was very crowded. I was looking for 2 pipe and discovered it was priced a lot higher than I expected. While I was there, I looked on the Lowes website for the same thing and found that the pipe was even more expensive at Lowes. So I decided to wait on my project and left without buying anything.

Pretty poor service today. Had 2 guys in flooding just push there way by us and not offer any help until I said something. Everyone kust pushed by or avoids you all together. Things have changed.

We did find what we were looking for after asking a few floor sales people..it ended up being like a puzzle maze..thank goodness for all of those orange aprons running around out on the floor..😊 I did have to ask a customer for his advise on which attachment to buy for our air compressor since they all looked good to me..he did help me thank you to the stranger .he said it was what he used on his..😊

Love the Nampa location! The people there have always been helpful and full of information needed to make an educated decision on what I needed. They are also willing to help me find the product Im looking for and suggest other options.

Last time I asked for help finding something, the kid looked it up on his home depot app on his phone, and it ended up not working for what I needed. I appreciate the effort, but I miss the days when these folks knew more about what they were doing.

I LOVE this home depot! Best customer service! I have gone 2xs to get some 60lb bags of construction sand for my chicken coop. Each time it was incredibly easy to get help to get the bags put on a cart, then loaded into my car for me:) I appreciate how nice & friendly the store workers are, great experience every time I go here:)

I enjoy going here, but just fell short of 5 stars due to employees sometimes not really knowing what the customer is looking for. At times they can be helpful and some other times they can not know what youre talking about or where to point you. Still over all a good store for your do it yourself needs.

Cant complain about anything here. They have just about everything youd need for typical projects. I appreciate their stock and come here more often than Id like to. The one thing that I would complain about is their router bits selection. Its very limited and some bits are twice as expensive as some smaller shops, such as Idaho Tool Supply, on Caldwell Blvd in Nampa.

It was VERY busy! There were so many people that are there looking at the garden center and getting Lumber. But it was clean and organized and the workers were friendly. I would go back again if needed.

I recently moved to a new location and purchased a dryer to be delivered to my house a few weeks out. The day prior to the delivery but received a confirmation phone call stating a five hour period in which it would arrive. So I waited, and waited. No call, no effort in the slightest was made to notify me that there had been a problem with delivery. My entire day wasted waiting for something that wasnt even coming. This level unprofessionalism is astronomical
