Wow!! We were traveling back home and I was needing some coffee. We stopped off here and Im so glad we did. Both our coffees were excellent, my daughter also got a chocolate croissant that she said was so delicious. I loved the atmosphere inside the place, the perfect place to grab some coffee and food and just visit with friends. The staff was very friendly and provided outstanding service. Wish yall were in Seguin, guess we will have to make another trip to East Texas. Thank you for the great coffee and delicious croissant.

We discovered Java Jacks during covid19. They did an awesome job drive-thru wise.But, lattes just taste better sitting inside the shop, in a real warm cup so you can slow down and really see the work put into the drink. I always get the creme brulee with extra foam, and my husband always gets almond joy.Missing a star here because not all baristas are created equal. Jackson makes THE BEST drinks! His are hard to beat.

I went to Java Jacks in Nac for the first time today. I was in love as soon as I walked in! The inside has a good ambiance and plenty of seating. They have a good selection of classic coffees and specialty mixes. They also have a nice selection of breakfast items, scones, sandwiches and breads. The costumer service was great too, quick and friendly. I got the nutty Irishman and a breakfast club. Both amazing. I will now only get coffee from Java Jacks.

This is my all time favorite place in nacogdoches to get coffee! I recommend the frozen snickers with an extra shot of espresso. If you need a boost!

Great service, friendly staff, and they remembered, read back, and correctly made my drink order all in the first go. Even my girlfriend, who is quite picky about her coffee, was very happy with her drink. Sandwiches were average as far as coffee shop breakfast goes, but I have no complaints either. I only wish they had a Java Jacks back home!

The smell of freshly baked blueberry muffins greeted me at the door and coaxed me into its spell with its siren song. It only got better from there. Good music played over softly as patrons enjoyed good conversation over delightfully brewed beverages. As I awaited my cappuccino, I perused the whole bean selections. Found one I liked and bought it. Locally grown and roasted, the vast and interesting selection offers something for everyone. I made a point to further explore the café and discovered the neat upstairs lounge. Oh, and did I mention they had a second-floor patio? If you ever come to Nacogdoches and need a pick-me-up, let Java Jack’s bring you to coffee heaven and away from the worries of your world.

This place is beyond amazing. My first time here and I cannot wait to come back. The atmosphere is simple and I cannot express how much I love that. It feels like a cozy den of creativity, inspiration, study, and just homeyness. (Thats a word as of now, just go with it.) I didnt sit in to enjoy my drink, but I cant wait until I have time to. I knew what part of my order was, for my friend, but I didnt know for me. My barista was super friendly, make great flavor suggestions, and I ended up just giving him the reigns and telling him to surprise me. I have no words for how perfectly he hit me on the head with my drink. Perfectly flavored with creme brulee while highlighting the quality coffee flavors in the espresso shots. It was rich and light at the same time. Creamy, smooth, and divine. I definitely think it might become a ritual for me to pick a flavor and let these amazing people surprise me! 10/10, no, 100/10.

I stopped by here with my wife and kids today. The wife and I agreed that their coffee is the best that weve had, ever. My wife got the white chocolate mocha and I got the turtle coffee. We bought the kids two hot chocolates with extra whip cream.We now have a new staple as a family to go get drinks here on chilly days.

Weve been here a few times and tried a variety of drinks. Fraps, iced, drip coffee, americanos...everything has been weak and flavorless. The beans to go home are good, when you can make it stronger than in store.

Such a HUGE variety of drinks to get! Kid friendly and fun drinks too! The everything bagels are a must have. Highly recommend stopping in and supporting our local small businesses.

Tasty treats.

First off, the coffee speaks for itself. The quality is amazing and every time I pick up my drink I know it was made with love. I’ve never been disappointed. Second, the staff is always so nice and genuine. No matter how I order (drive thru, mobile order, in person) the baristas are always so nice and the wait is less than 2 minutes. I know that a lot of local businesses were deeply affected by COVID, but with Java Jacks keeping their drive thru open and even now partnering with a third party app to mobile order ahead and pick up in store, not to mention ALSO allowing guests to order to-go inside, they have done really well on meeting the needs of local residents and offering multiple ways to order while still following health and safety guidelines. Seeing some of the negative comments the company has received in the past honesty hurt me because as someone who also manages a restaurant, I know how much time and dedication food service workers put in to making something for the community to enjoy. As long as I live in Nacogdoches, Java Jacks will have all my money. Thank you for being awesome!

Great place for coffee

The drinks are excellent, with a cute and trendy atmosphere, as well as a ton of space. The scones were warm and good, so there are really no complaints as far as food and drink goes.Unfortunately the service was incredibly slow, taking nearly twenty minutes to get a few drinks made. Worth the wait, and I will likely return, but be prepared to wait.

Stopped here yesterday for the first time. Had the Nutty Irishman & Blueberry Scone. Both were delicious. Service at drive thru was quick & friendly. Looking forward to going again soon.

I’m a fan of straight, brewed coffee, and for those of us who like it bold and unadorned, this coffee house has excellent roast/flavor profiles that stand alone very well. And the bags their beans come in have re-seal, ziplock tops that keep the beans fresh from first grind to last. Love this place.

Great atmosphere and wonderful coffee shop. Very unique in the style and the building itself. Staff were all super cool, and drinks were made quick. Had the Jackhammer, a drip coffee with a shot of espresso in it. Really hit the spot. Great place to chill and have a conversation or work on projects or just sip on something tasty. I like to stop here on road trips. They have really nice lattes. Its near the university and you have to go through town to get to it. Its worth it if you need a driving break or if youre in town and just want good coffee.

Ordered Vanilla Nut... I was glad I had flavored creamer at work... very flavorless, harsh taste.A menu on the exterior of the building for drive thru patrons would make things much more user friendly, especially for first time visitors. The server at window seemed pretty unfamiliar with, and perturbed that I asked for a menu.

Coolest building in the oldest town in Texas hosting the coolest environment by some of the coolest employees (and they always have great/kind employees). Laid back comfortable coffee house environment ideal for both productivity and relaxation. Coffee is great, I do not think pastries are home made but they are tasty, and Java Jacks serves heavy snack/lunch items, tasty as well!

I went through the drive thru for a cup of coffee about 7:45am. The wait wasnt bad, but there was no menu to review until I got to the window and they handed me one.My passenger and I ordered our beverages. The wait wasnt bad.We both ordered large coffees with whip. We got large cups with less than medium coffee inside and whip.As far as the taste, she liked hers and I thought mine needed more cream and sugar.

Every time I come into town from Dallas, I stop here. Great coffee and friendly staff. My BF loves their Jackhammer coffee and I enjoy the Black Tie. They had a lavender latte back in the winter/spring that was just lovely.

I’m in Nacogdoches for personal reasons but stopped by the coffee shop to work on business. I went in and stood behind a guest who was having a conversation with the Barista. They were laughing and enjoying the conversation. The Barista saw me waiting patiently but continued to further his conversation with the customer. It was fine until the conversation ended; instead of speaking to me, asking how he might help or telling me to go to the register (rather than the window I was standing by), or simply informing me that he will get to me,he just ignored me and went to the register and proceeded to ask a couple by the register what they needed. I walked out. The problem was a lack of consideration for me as a customer who he was fully aware was waiting on him to finish his conversation. (Oh & I’m not one to complain, I’m a Hispanic female, college student, military veteran, Jeep owner, coffee enthusiast, and aviation mechanic.) I prefer local beans and supporting entrepreneurs. I’ve travelled to many countries and seen amazing coffee shops. My first remark to the man would have been that “the coffee shop has a beautiful atmosphere because of its circular architecture and very appealing upper deck.” But... the poor hospitality will always be the most influential factor. If the coffee is good, I will never know. -I would have ordered an espresso or a latte.

A fairly large coffee shop with the usual drinks and muffins. Staff are prompt if not overtly friendly. An easy place to hang out and work or read for a while without being disturbed.

Yummy coffee and relaxed, comfy seating to meet with friends. They have sandwiches, wraps, lettuce wraps, lots of baked goods and usually a few gluten free cookie options although these are packaged and definitely not as appealing as what flour eating folks have to choose from.
