Do NOT use this business they have the worst, rude service my family has ever experienced. We also got STOLEN from and have not received ANYTHING but rude service in return and we are reasonable people. Do NOT trust this place. They also have roaches. #ew

Just received an invoice for my monthly bill. It went up $149. Per the lease and by SC state law they are required to give AT LEAST a 30 day notice for any kind of rate changes. Which by the way, they failed to send. They have my contact information as well as my current address so there is 0 excuses as to why I should not have been sent a notice, let alone a phone call. Severe lack of communication and illegal business practices are not the way to run a business. The facility itself is an absolute wreck. Theres constant break-ins. Glass doors are broken and the property looks horrible. Trash everywhere and people living in the units. You and your items are NOT SAFE here.

I initially was taken back with the requirement of insurance for the contents of the unit rented and my homeowners insurance covers it and they wouldnt accept my declaration page. I had to go home and print out the details of the policy before I could get a unit. When we went back with detailed policy everything went rather smoothly. Price was alot better than any other place around and its convenient.

Rented a unit for about 3 months on the day we moved our stuff we realized some of our stuff was missing. My husband and I went straight to the office, my first question was had the unit been compromised in any way since we were missing 3 TVs, 2 sound bars and a sub woofer and a queen headboard. The assistant manager at the time had a look on his face and said ... actually yes. There was a male who actually was living there and broke into another unit. We filed a claim and it has been 10 days and still no call from the insurance company. DONT RENT THROUGH HERE, you wind up paying for insurance that apparently takes forever to get through to them. I will be getting in touch with the better business bureau and the local TV stations regarding this matter.

My wife and I have nothing but praise for Storage Rentals of America. The management is courteous, professional and considerate. The facility is clean and readily accessible but adequately secure.

What a joke of a place. I would leave no stars if I could. I booked a unit over a week before I needed it and called to confirm that it was good to go. I even got three messages and an email saying that my unit was available and ready for move in anytime. I also had put down my move in time on the application. However, when I drove over to get my key and move in, I found the entire building dark and locked up. The office hours are 9-4 on their website and google, but nobody was there at all from 12-4 at least. I was on a very tight moving schedule and thankfully I had made a second reservation just in case something were to happen. If I had not, I would have had stuff sitting on the side of the road with nowhere to go. I have gotten generic apologies from the call center phone number, but because of this storage unit, I now have to pay $150 extra for three months. Not only am I out the money, but out the time I lost moving trying to figure this mess out. If you want a dependable storage rental go elsewhere. This company doesnt care and isnt worth wasting your time.

I recently stopped at this location for a price quote for a storage unit. I have been to about eight or nine facilities in the Myrtle Beach area. Everywhere I went, people seemed indifferent and weren’t looking to help me unless I was spending money with them on the spot.Upon stopping at this location, I met a young lady named Megan. I had a lot of questions, and she answered every question I had. She spent about an hour with me walking the complete facility, and assuring me that my belongings would be safe. The office was clean and comfortable. I will without a doubt be using this place to store my belongings.Very rarely do I feel compelled to write a review for anybody about anything, but this place, and this young lady were exceptional.

I highly recommend Storage Rentals of America for your storage needs. The facility is enormous and very welcoming. They have a large quantity of units, brand new and well organized. Everywhere you look it is so clean. I was totally impressed. Let me not forget.... Meghan the Property Manager. Meghan is a marvelous human being. She is very helpful, caring and attends to you to the very end of the process. She makes you feel relax and at home. I love this facility and you will too!

I realize that the area built inside is new and carts have supposedly been ordered but for someone like me who had a 26ft truck renting a 10x20 unit and having no carts was quite inconvenient. Not to mention that information was not devolved to me until after I had signed up. The facility is nice and I do like the area plus the staff was nice.

I had a storage unit there for awhile and I was very pleased with the service and the cleanliness of the facility. Shannon, the Manager there, made my move in experience very easy. If your looking for a short term or long term storage that’s also climate controlled I highly recommend here.

PLEASE BE AWARE THEY ARE REPAIRING THE ROOF AND THERE ARE NAILS ALL OVER THE PARKING LOTONE OF WHICH WAS STUCK IN MY TIREWHEN I NOTIFIED THE FRONT OFFICE THEY SAID THEY WOULDNT REPAIR IT AND SO I HAD TO NOTIFY THE AUTHORITIES.

Response to owner: they texted me a new location AFTER visiting your location. No confusion on my part.This location was to be our pickup for a U-Haul truck. We put in a reservation three days beforehand and were told through email that if there was any changes we would be contacted by phone. We arrived to pick up the truck, the open sign blinking in the window, but the door is locked! It’s 4:30pm and they don’t close until 5:30pm. I knock—nothing. I ended up calling the office and someone comes out to pick up the phone. Not only are they closed an hour early, but I was told over the phone that there’s no truck for me (I told y’all three days ago I’m moving today!!!) but I’d have to call U-Haul’s 800 number. You had three days to call me but never did. Avoid this location for any U-Haul experience.
