Stephanie has a contagious, amazing gift. I hired Elite Interiors a few months ago to guide us through an overhaul of almost our entire house, one phase at a time. I knew Stephanie was the right designer from our first meeting. Her professionalism, enthusiasm and talent were evident immediately. She asked lots of questions and assessed beautifully what look we wanted. I have worked with interior designers before and was prepared for the mixed bag that entails, but Stephanie and her staff have changed my perception of the whole process. She is communicative, thorough, detail-oriented and driven to succeed... all at a pace that was perfect for us. And her out-of-the-box way of thinking is inspiring. She listened, and she delivered. And I know she and her team worked tirelessly behind the scenes, which I greatly appreciate. My first two phases are done -- one that involved a big renovation with contractors, and the other was a more simple bedroom re-do, and both were completed with excellence. Our home is stunning. I have been working with Cheryl Baldwin for over 20 years purchasing quality furniture for three houses. She has been top notch in helping me make decisions even on long-distance basis. Honestly giving 1 star is way too much. When shopping for my new home with my husband we were both very excited to start our furniture shopping. I was very particular on the style and color, I knew exactly what I wanted. Since we were customizing our pieces I knew it would take some time to receive them. But when waiting 3 whole months (almost 4) we were EXTREMELY disappointed when we received our items. Our sectional came without the connecting pieces on the bottom, so our couch would slip when people sat on it. Secondly, the couch came damaged with several scratches. BOTH cushions were uneven and even the couches were uneven. When we called Elite, they did the bare minimum to help us out. We received them on September 7th and we sent them back in November!!!! 3 months later almost going into 4 months, we still don’t have our couches. The company barely helps us out to resolve our issues. It was a complete disaster. If I had known, I would have gone to a more professional company who has better customer service and actually cares to help customers. Very very disappointed. DO NOT shop here!!! Spend a little more and go to a more professional company.
Weve had exceptional experiences ordering custom furniture thru Elite for our master bedroom, living room & dining nook with lines including Charleston Forge, Precedent, Henredon, Bernhardt & Hickory White. We would not have looked at some of these brands if not for some great suggestions from Cheryl Baldwin - she really knows all the major furniture lines & had great advice. We shopped around & checked pricing elsewhere, but the savings thru Elite could not be beat. We also received wonderful follow-thru from Cheryl & delivery on all six occasions was seamless. Highly recommend Elite Interiors & Cheryl.

Absolute worst experience (NIGHTMARE) to date with any company ever. We purchased 91 pieces of furniture for our home totaling $76,000. The sales person made a mistake on one of our orders to the manufacturer, copying the item numbers incorrectly on her order. Even after we specified in writing a list of all the correct details for every single item to be ordered. As a result, we received two chests in the wrong color. We refused the chests. Instead of acting on good faith and righting their wrong, they blame the customer for signing a sales order that contained a written error on their sales person’s part. They took no accountability for their mistake. We waited 3.5 months only to get a partial refund back for the returned chests. They robbed us of $1300 in the end and claimed that we owe them restocking and delivery fees which we are somehow responsible for. Even though, in the beginning when we first brought the issue to their attention, the manager assured us that any charges that are incurred to send the chests back will be covered by them. No written documentation was provided listing any fees charged to them, and no contract was signed stating the customer is responsible for any such fees in such a case. Throughout the entire process, the sales person, customer service rep, and the manager, Jay, were very rude, unapologetic, and very unprofessional. We went through months of headaches in tracking down the delivery company and manufacturer customer service. We made dozens of phone calls and e-mails to get to the bottom of it all ON OUR OWN, since Elite Interiors could not be bothered with our problem. Only after we disputed the charge on our CC and filed a BBB complaint did they even care to do anything about it. They held onto $5,010 of our money from the time we placed the order in early June until the time they issued a partial refund in early December (6 months). All the while, we never had possession of those two chests. Their customer service is decent as long as you are ordering furniture from them and up until you pay for everything. But the minute something goes wrong with your order later on, is when their customer service becomes TERRIBLE, as you can see from the dozens of complaints on the BBB and dozens of poor reviews on every online platform. Do not order from this company. Find a company that is honest, fair, and has good customer service when things go wrong. They will hold you financially responsible for any mistake that they make with your order, instead of demonstrating fair business practices and covering the cost. They will go against their word of covering any cost associated with their mistake, REGARDLESS, of how much business you give them, and end up charging you an arm and a leg when all is said and done. I would give this company a 0 if I could.
I struggled with whether I should write this review as the sales representative was super nice but on the other hand, she failed me as a client. After more than a month of working with the individual, I had to walk away from placing the order. After tons of fabric samples, numerous phone calls and emails, as I was ready to place my order every detail about the order changed. I was led to believe that I could order certain pillows without an up charge. I was also told that the sectional that I was ordering came with 12 pillows. As I submit my credit card for payment and the final email is being prepared for confirmation of the order, I get a call telling me that there was an up charge for the pillows that I wanted to order and that the sectional only came with 8 pillows and not the 12 that I was previously told. I will also say that the cost changed on me as well. I saved the voice mail as proof of that as I couldn’t believe what she said. I even I followed up with an email so I could confirm what was on the voice mail only to be told there must have been a misunderstanding. I let that first mixup go and continued working with the individual. I guess I should have moved on after the first mixup but I guess I’m a glutton for punishment. Not a good experience. I had gotten excited and was looking forward to making the purchase, only to be disappointed.

We have placed multiple orders with Elite Furniture Gallery within the last 4 years from over 3 different furniture manufacturers. Cheryl is great to work with, provides pricing quickly, and she is able to recommend comparable lines. She really knows her furniture. The customer service has been great. Response time to email/voicemail questions are always returned within a reasonable time frame.We had a Theodore Alexander piece with sticking drawers and Elite worked with TA to reimburse our cost for a local person to plane the drawer just a little so it would close better. Their pricing can not be beat. We are willing to wait to get the exact piece that we want, so wait times have not bothered us. They have generally been within the originally quoted time frame. The delivery company has also been satisfactory. I dont understand the bad reviews on Google and just felt that I had to share my positive experience.

If I could give this store a 0, I would. We bought dining room furniture from them. One side of the tabletop developed marks in the wood. This table is very infrequently used as it is in our formal dining room. It appeared as though the wood did not cure properly. I was told to contact the manufacturer, Marge Carson, which I did. As you can imagine, the rep at Marge Carson referred me back to Elite and Elite referred me back to Marge Carson and so it continued. I also will never purchase another piece of furniture from Marge Carson. Totally disappointed in both companies.

We recently took delivery of a bedroom set, and accessory dining room and office furniture. All arrived in good condition except for one item, a computer charging station by Hooker. The door latches on one side were broken. We asked for replacements and they just arrived for me to install. However we discovered that the top pull out drawer is jammed and will only partially open. After several calls for the piece to be repaired we have been ignored. Im still waiting for a call back with a scheduled repair date. Hello Margret, are you out there?

If the item is refused due to damage, the company has the right to fix it as they desire. You will be paying full price for a repaired piece of furniture if and when it is returned to you.Customer service is awful.

Buyers beware, I purchased an expensive bedroom set from Elite interiors it was a Micheal Armini bedroom set. After 6 months the dresser draw broke and the compnay send worse referbished pieces, I emailed and called them over 20 times with no response from either this company or the manufacture. Stay away.
Im seriously unhappy with the furniture I purchased from Elite Interiors. One of the high quality leather cushions has begun to lose its color and disintegrate. Its only 6 months old, and has only rarely been used! I mailed the cushion back to Elite and they presumably mailed it to Tommy Bahama Lexington (manufacturer). That was 33 days ago. Have heard no reply. Meanwhile, my expensive living room looks like a trailer with towels covering the area where the cushion is missing. So my living room is essentially out of commission as an entertainment spot. I WISH I had bought my very expensive furniture from a local dealer who would be concerned about customer service.

Horrible service. I ordered my dining room set in October, it came in November and the entire table was split down the middle, they took it back and re-delivered 3 full months later and this time the table was wrong and the legs could not be put on. The chairs had cushions that do not meet the frame of the chairs and there is a space showing, obviously not a fit. The table top went back again and now its March and I still do not have a table, my 8 chairs and satisfaction and I have paid in full. Beware.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Elite Furniture is the worst company when it comes to righting a wrong for their customers. Imagine a swatch of solid red fabric. One side is shiny, the other is a mat finish. You ask the salesperson which side of the fabric is the right side becuase the shiny side is unacceptable (youll choose a different fabric if that is the case). Salesperson tells you that no, the shiny side is the wrong side and the mat side is the right side. You order TWO couches and they arrive in shiny red fabric that feels like it has a coating of hairspray and looks awful. You complain. Elite tells you that it was up to you, the customer, to have specified on the contract that you wanted the correct side of the furniture used (as per the salespersons representation). Huh? What? They blame YOU for the mistake, not their Salesperson and refuse to correct the error. They stall you through the credit card chargeback / protection period by sayiing that they are resolving the issue and when they dont, you are stuck with paid-for merchandise and have to hire an attorney to get Elite Furniture Gallery to admit that their Salesperson made a mistake. Mind you, this is after waiting 4 months for delivery! And now, 6 months after delivery they are still blaming me, the customer.DO NOT BUY FROM ELITE FURNITURE GALLERY UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF.

MY WORST FURNITURE BUYING EXPERIENCE. THE DELIVERY COMPANY ELITE IS USING IS POOR AT BEST. CUSTOMER SERVICE . . . WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE???!!!!! I PURCHASEDAN AICO SOFA AND LOVESEAT SET. SOFA WAS DELIVERED TWICE WITH DAMAGES. EACH TIME THE DELIVERY GUYS TOOK IT BACK, PARTIALLY FIXED IT AND SENT IT BACK TO ME ONLY WITH WORST DAMAGES THAN THE FIRST TIME. THE GM AT ELITE TOLD ME THAT THE SOFA WILL BE DELIVERED THIS WEEK (MAY2-3) . . . THE TRUCKING CO TOLD ME THE DELIVERY WOULD NOT BE UNTIL THE WEEK OF THE 19TH. TO TOP IT OFF I AM GETTING THE SAME DAMAGED SOFA DELIVERED THE 1ST TIME . . . PAYING FULL PRICE FOR DAMAGED GOODS!!!!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE SHOP OTHER PLACES BEFORE USING ELITE!!!

In order to save a few hundred bucks, I ordered two identical Wesley Hall sofas from Elite Interiors in July of 2013. It is now April, 2014 and I still only have one of the pair…reminding me of the old axiom “you get what you pay for.” I would urge anyone who is contemplating placing an order with this company to reconsider, learn from my horrible experience and take your business elsewhere.It would take too long to share every example of the disregard for basic customer service practices, lack of follow-through, poor communication and general mistreatment I was afforded by Elite Interiors so I will share just the most important parts of my ordeal.When my sofas were delivered in late November, one of them had been badly damaged in transit and had to be sent back for repair (the back panel had been punctured and needed to be replaced). Instead of sending it back to Wesley Hall for repair, Elite’s trucking company (Reliable Trucking…yes, that’s really their name!) took it upon themselves to hire an “upholstery tech” to make the repair, which included replacing the nailhead trim along the bottom of the sofa back. Upon the return of this sofa (it’s now January), I was disheartened by the quality of workmanship…the welt had a rippled effect and the nailheads were crooked and not spaced evenly. To make matters worse, there was a small area of new damage where a piece of base welting had pulled away from the frame. And… WORST of all…my sofa now had black smudges on both arms and the inside back where someone with dirty hands had handled it. I had no choice but to again send my sofa back to North Carolina. This is where dealing with Elite became the nightmare that has yet to end.I explained to Elite that, for what I paid ($3,000 each sofa),I felt my sofa should go back to Wesley Hall for proper repair this time and further explained that I felt the soiled fabric on the arms and back should be removed and replaced with new fabric. They insisted that they were “within their right” to let Reliable Trucking handle the repair a second time and to have my sofa professionally cleaned. I stated that I didn’t pay for a “reconditioned” sofa and that this was not going to be satisfactory. This process dragged out for weeks while I waited for responses that never came. I’m convinced they were hoping if they ignored me long enough, I would just give up. Instead, I kept going up the chain of command at Elite and Reliable. I went as high as I could with both companies and was appalled by the lack of professionalism at the highest levels.Ultimately—and thankfully—I turned to my credit card company who promptly issued a chargeback for the amount of one sofa. It was only then—when Elite no longer had my money—that they agreed to send my piece back to Wesley Hall and purchase the new fabric necessary to repair the damage properly. Elite has been nasty and non-communicative throughout—in fact, I’ve been forced to speak directly with Wesley Hall to learn the status of my order. They and my credit card company were the only ones “in my corner” who seemed to care that I got what I paid for and was a satisfied customer.So here it is the end of March…FOUR MONTHS since I should have had my sofa…and I am told it is back in Reliable Trucking’s warehouse, ready to ship to me. There’s just one catch—they want me to agree to uncarton and unwrap the sofa myself because of “past circumstances.” So, even though they were paid to deliver and set up my furniture, now I have to do it myself. Honestly, how much more unprofessional can you get?!?!Truly, this has been the worst merchant experience I’ve ever had in my entire life! If you have already placed an order with Elite--and used your credit card--know that you have rights under the Fair Credit Billing Act. If something goes wrong with your order, you don’t have to let them bully you into accepting their terms.

Bought quite a bit from this company then I had an issue with one of the items and they wouldnt do anything about it. Elite Interiors would not give a refund or do anything about the poor quality of the item which it was not as described by the sales rep. Very disappointed. I do not know how any company can stay in business treating customers the way they do.
