Great selection and Service!My experience was excellent at the Myrtle Beach J&K Home Furnishings. My Interior Designer, Elizabeth was very knowledgeable and has the ability to listen to what you are looking for and guide you to the best possible choices. In addition, she could not have been more helpful and accommodating to my very specific request. I had been looking to freshen the colors in my beach condo living area for over 13 months, never finding the right look. Mission Accomplished!The store itself is a real pleasure, as the inventory is large enough to feel like you are making an informed decision, not to mention the quality choices. I had shopped in stores carrying the same lines with a much slimmer fabric selection! The current sale I just took advantage of is awesome; I am a frequent furniture shopper and I am aware of pricing. You need to look here and take advantage of the great service.

Gretchen has been a pleasure to work with! She is a wonderful designer and has made the process of furnishing my home a stress and hassle free experience. She goes out of her way to provide excellent customer service by being proactive in checking on the status of my order and giving me regular updates. Gretchen has truly made my new house a home. She worked hard to understand my style and put together many options for me to choose from without just giving me something that is out of the box. I’m new to the Myrtle Beach area and was recently searching for pieces for my new home. I stopped by the Murrells Inlet store and was pleasantly surprised with not only the quality of merchandise but with the level of design knowledge offered by Interior DesignerJanice Elmer. She quickly connected with my vision and made arrangements to visit my home. Janice provided meticulous floor drawings and spent time putting together pieces that would satisfy the vision I had for my home. Buyer beware! My husband and i bought a very expensive table and chairs from J & k. The table was delivered damaged, they sent a repairman out to fix the damage….but the repairman damaged the table MORE. The table top is ruined, the folks at J&K send us on a circle of calls, never resolving the issue and refusing to refund our money. The table was delivered in June, and the nonsense is still going on! J&K tells us we can have a store credit, but honestly, i do not EVER want to do business there again.

EDIT: WAS NOT HELPED UPON ARRIVAL! NO IDEA IF STORE IS DESIGN ONLY OR SOLD OFF FLOOR. WAS HELPED IMMEDIATELY AND TREATED KINDLY ELSEWHERE! -- Dismissive and Rude! I stopped in on my way to work and was the ONLY client in the store yet never got spoken to or helped in any way for 25 mins until I got to the back of the store where David, the mattress salesman, asked if I needed anything. My first question was could I get some help, secondly, do I have to order items or are they available for purchase off the floor? David tried to find a sales lady who was willing to help. My questions never were answered except by a lady who was training new people who told me some items were available and some needed to be ordered and could take months but only the designers know which ones. Since I had now been there for 45 mins with no questions answered, I said Im going to come back. When I came back 2 weeks later, I had an almost identical experience except after David helped find me someone the saleslady was snippy, rude, and acted completely put out that she had to help me. I purchased over $12,000 of furnishings else where within less than hour of leaving this store. I was ready to be sold an entire home full of furnishings & loved the selection here more, but the service and treatment is appalling. This was my experience at the main large store, I did not go to the Basset Design Center- perhaps I would have been treated better over there. In response to Chuck, the owner, you have my cell phone number on my order slip- please feel free to call or text me any time you want to discuss my experience.

We had a great experience at J & K. We were offered assistance promptly and throughout our time there, yet no one hovered over us or pressured us. David listened to our mattress needs (as well as wants) and worked to fulfill those within our budget. He was wonderful to work with. I thought the selection and quality of the furniture was good. I would definitely go back.

Very disappointed in the service we received. In September we spent the day to custom order a couch, 2 headboards, chair, nightstand and a chest of drawers. It was approximately $6k total. At that time we were told delivery date would be in late January because of the customized couch. We had to call and check on it several times. Needless to say we cancelled the couch because it was pushed back to April. Our other pieces were delivered today. Everything was in good shape except the 2 head boards did not come with the hardware (screws) to attach to the frames. So we called and questioned why we did not receive it and was told to “just go out and buy 8 1.5 inch screws”. So we made a special trip out, got the screws, came home and they are not long enough!!!! Very frustrating and time consuming on our end. Would not recommend J&K. Expected much better customer service for the price.

Thanks to Elaine Struck, Assistant Manager, I have changed my original review. Elaine was responsive and provided exceptional customer service upon learning our dissatisfaction. Received our sofas on February 19. After learning our sofas had brad riveting that we specifically did not want, 1 had a small cut/imperfection and delivery hed drywall, Elaine stayed on top of everything and made it right and gave us a substantial discount. She also allowed us to return 1 of our recliners that was barely and still had the tags on.Despite the issues we encountered, I would be willing to give the store our business again. We will be in the market for another recliner soon.Thanks Elaine, you were a pleasure to work with!

If you are looking for furniture, swing by J&K Home Furnishings in Myrtle Beach, located next to Logan’s. I purchased this bedroom set during a sale they had including no tax. The mattress was bought on sale for 50% off and no tax. That is a steal for the quality of both and I love them!Mishi helped me and was great at being patient after multiple trips to look at bedroom furniture. It was a little complicated due to the whole set not being available at the same time, but Mishi was very meticulous in making sure everything was delivered. Also, I was pleased with the delivery service because the guys went out of their way to help me carry a few things upstairs that I couldn’t do myself.Again, I would highly recommend J&K for your furniture and home decor needs. You can always find a great sale there!

Having moved to NMB recently and in need a much furniture I quickly found myself repeatedly back at J&K where I found lots of beautiful pieces, so far I have purchased two sofas and two chairs, three stools, a mattress, three bedroom pieces and am working on dining room decor with Nora - who is great.It took three visits to learn of the design offer (fee waived after spending a certain amount, which I surpassed a while ago).I have heard others say J&K does not price/discount competitively but their recent sale and sales tax waiver/coverage makes them competitive in my view and I love their selection. They could be a bit more flexible with delivery cost - I spent much less at Rooms to Go and got free delivery.Highly recommend J&K.

We went to this store, which I had done business with in the past, to talk about upgrading to a adjustable bed. We were greeted by a courteous, sales woman,that after being told what we were looking for brought us to the right department. It was a nice touch that we were brought and not just directed us. There we met David Dawson. He took so much time with us explaining his vast knowledge of mattresses and beds. We were never rushed, and he listened to all our concerns. It was a great experience buying our mattress and adjustable frame there. It was as if we were the most important people in the word. JK. you the best.

Purchasing a new mattress can be a frustrating experience due the the vast number of options. Also, most of us now very little about the construction of a mattress. Online resources only add to the confusion. Mom wife and I visited several retail stores but did not find the exact product or expertise we hoped to find. We visited J&K Home Furnishings, met David Dawson and found the quality product and expertise we were looking to find. David was knowledgeable, straight forward, and guided us to the product that best met our needs. We purchased a mattress set from J&K Home Furnishings and thus far it has been a five star experience. This was our first time visiting J & K Home Furnishings at the Oak Forest Lane, Myrtle Beach location as we are new to the area. We were greeted by Jessica Kern who is an interior designer. This was perfect for us as we have a full dining room set that we wanted to coordinate living room furniture to go with the existing colors that we have. Included in our existing furniture are two antique living room chairs. Jess immediately took us to the traditional furniture section and began giving us some suggestions. We were interested in purchasing a sofa, love seat and chair with ottoman. I brought fabric swatches of our existing furniture and Jess did a fantastic job of coordinating fabrics and styles to go with what we have. We decided on the sofa, love seat and chair with ottoman by the end of our meeting. We were very pleased and didnt feel pressured into a sale. I would highly recommend using Jess for interior design projects and will definitely use her for any future projects.

Very pleasant shopping experience! The sales people were helpful and attentive without being pushy. We found exactly what we were looking for. The quality is wonderful and prices reasonable. Check out was a breeze, even when adding on more items. Delivery scheduling only took a couple of days. The delivery experience was excellent! The men were on time, very accommodating and polite. Highly recommend.

J&K’s designer, Jessica Kern, did a fabulous job with helping us choose our quality furnishings and fabric! She definitely understood our color palette and we are very happy with our selections. We had a few dings on our dining table, coffee table and end table but their furniture restoration employee (Bill Ridenour) worked his magic. Totally pleased! Great customer service!

J&K I think is a high inflation rated store maybe the location 🤔 since is near a busy tourist area nice furniture 😉 selections but not affordable $$$$$

Jessica Kern is FABULOUS! She showed me so many options - plus she came to my home and took many pictures and helped me pick the perfect items for my home! It costs $250 for the in-home consult, and I got it back after purchasing my wonderful sets of furniture! Shes extremely detailed and even gave me a wonderful proposal of what all the furniture would look like in my home - with exact measurements so I really could see what could fit. Very personable, friendly and knowledgeable!! I would recommend her to anyone!!! Thank you Jessica!!!!

Nora is our contact who is great to work with, she has many great ideas and even came out to our home to review our needs. We met Nora back in 2019 while visiting the store while our house was being built and when we closed on our house is 2020 we went back to work with her again. She has been great providing us with ideas and giving us the best deals possible.

Called store today looking for Nectar mattress and spoke to David. He informed me they had a king size in stock. I went to store and was promptly greeted and shown to mattress section. David was kind and professional and check out was quick and easy. I felt as if I were talking to a family friend. I would highly recommend these folks.

Extremely pleased with Design Consultant Mishi McCoy. Very knowledgeable and personable. The store was laid out well. Good pricing for furniture made in North Carolina. Was pleased to find out it was not a franchise, but locally owned with 6 stores.

I needed a new king headboard, so I went to JK Home Furnishings after reviewing the website.First, I saw Chris at the main building and found only one possibility, but he was kind enough to direct me to Mitzi in the Basset building. I walked in and met Mitzi at the main desk. I explained what wanted, and I was excited about the ordering of a custom made headboard. She showed me fabrics, I took two samples home. One looked like a good contrasting color to my wall and furniture. I drove back to see Mitzi and placed my order. She was very supportive during the process, also very personable and professional.

Dave was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were offered many options including less expensive alternatives. We were not steered to higher priced options but when we asked, he was able to explain what the options were and how they worked. Would definitely recommend.

We were looking for chairs and had been too many stores without luck. Tried JKHome and surprised with size of store and chairs available. Nora Pearson waited on us but did not crowd us or try to push anything on us. When we found the chair we liked she was informative but we said we still wanted to look at others. When I returned two days later to purchase she answered all questions and gave us options. Very impressed.

My husband and I just moved here from NY and I was having a hard time finding furniture for our living space. We walked into J&K and we were approached by a lovely lady named Noreen. She came to our house measured drew up a design and had us come back to the store and spent several hours with us going over everything. She made it very easy to decorate our living space. This was our first visit to J&K. We were greeted immediately by Nora Pearson who is one of the stores interior designers. Nora listened to our wishes, and within minutes she and I were designing my new living room using furniture, pillows, etc., from around the showroom. Nora really seemed to read my mind and know just what I was visualizing. I would highly recommend Nora and J&K to everyone I know.

The furnishings and fabric choices are beautiful and, as a result, decisions are difficult to make. Kristin was wonderfully helpful in making those decisions and very patient and personable. We bought a sleeper sofa and are so pleased with their accommodation to hold it until our new home is finished. Our whole experience was very enjoyable. We will certainly go back for future furniture needs.

Friendly staff and overall a good experience. They had a limited selection of sofas. Lowest price point starting at $2200 for the sofa. This was a leather sofa with 2 power recliners

I visited the new location in search of coffee table or ottoman. The store is bright and airy. The furniture is nicely arranged and spaced so that it is easy to wander around and take in the many options offered. Nora helped me to narrow down my choices to my best option. She helped to select a fabric that complementary my existing furniture. Overall, shopping at this store was a great experience.

I discovered J&K Home Furnishings when the new store in Myrtle Beach opened last fall. My husband and I decided to stop in and were very impressed by the wide selection of furniture and accessories that they had available in all price ranges. We talked with Kristi Petrozzi a sales person/designer who was quite knowledgeable and explained the design service offered by J&K for a nominal fee. The fee is applied to a purchase if made and a certain very reasonable dollar amount. We knew at that point we would be using Kristi and J&K Home furnishing when we were ready to redesign our house. We have just finished this process with Kristi which included not just furniture but also paint and carpet color suggestions. After reviewing our requirements and walking through our house, Kristi put together a professional furniture and accessory design that met all our requirements and was spot on for what we like. She accomplished a beautiful design in a very short turn around. Kristi and J&K home furnishings made our redesign process, which I was nervous about, easy and fun! I highly recommend this store and Kristi.

The sales staff was busy so instead of having us wait the store buyer, John Hanna waited on us right away. We found the recliner we wanted which was right at the front of the store. John did all the paper work and worked out the delivery details. After we left the store we went back and asked him about sofa sleepers, He continued to help us, giving us more information about possible future buys we may be interested in. Great to work with, The recliner should be here in 2 weeks. If all goes well with the delivery, we will certainly revisit the store.

I received my Custom sofa a week earlier than scheduled. I received free delivery as well. My shopping experience was wonderful. My designer Lorenna was very knowledgeable and communicated really well. She answered all my questions patiently.My sofa is everything I expected and more. I love it!

We went to J&K Home Furnishings for the first time today. We have recently moved to SC. We were greeted by Nora and she helped us find a chest we were looking for. She was very friendly and helpful after that she directed us to Stephen in the mattress department who was also friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. This store is neat, clean and has something for everyones budget. I will be a repeat customer for sure!

This is a wonderful showroom off the beaten path with beautiful coastal design. The stylist was very lovely and pleasantly allowed me to browse and take pictures. The design was spectacular, made my trip to Myrtle Beach all the more wonderful.

I came into the store and was warmly greeted by designer, Kristi Petrozzi, who began to help me in my search for furniture. She listened and guided me, as I looked for a very particular type and color of sectional. It was greatly appreciated. Also, I needed a new mattress and box spring. The general manager, Brian Smith, assisted me in making that decision. I really didnt know where to begin, but Brian asked a few questions to ascertain my needs and showed me the mattress and box spring he thought might work. It was reasonably priced and was the perfect quality for our guest room. I am very pleased with the purchase and the expert guidance. Thanks to both of them and we will be back.

I worked with Nora Pearson at the Myrtle Beach location and Rebekah Wallace and John Hannah at the Little River location. All 3 designers were super helpful in answering all my questions, recommending products to fit my needs, coming up with ideas I hadn’t considered, and ultimately helping me to find some perfect pieces for my home. Just purchased sofas during Veterans Day Sale - large inventory, quality product at great prices. Designers/sales staff are extremely knowledgeable and are not pushy. They allow you to shop on your own but are there if you need them. Great experience. Will be back.

We stopped in to J&K yesterday and were greeted by Nora Pearson who was very warm and welcoming. Even though we honestly werent expecting to purchase anything right away and wanted to visit some other stores, we quickly found a sectional sofa that we fell in love with. Nora spent a lot of time with us and even helped us configure the sectional on the floor into the design that we wanted. It really helped us to visualize it in our condo. She also helped us choose fabric for our throw pillows and made sure that we knew about the delivery, the financing, and other options that are available. Once we left and discussed our experience, we decided right away that we were going to order the sectional from Nora. We will be returning tomorrow to finalize our purchase and cant wait!
