Recently took my 1982 VW Rabbit Pick Up to Autohause for mechanical fuel pump issues and among other things. They have also serviced are BMWs as well. This is the only place I take my cars to once they are out of factory warranty. They are very thorough and precise and honest. The VW pickup runs great since they have serviced it. Thanks Authause. We had a mysterious coolant leak, The VW dealership couldnt find. They found the problem and was highly impressed! appreciate them!
They tried to rob me,m! but when I Revealed that I recorded them giving me one price to fix my Range Rover, They were extremely upset that they had to honor that price and asked me to sign an agreement that I would never bring my car back there again. I won’t ever bring my car back there again! Untrustworthy, I wouldn’t bring my vehicle & I wouldn’t suggest anyone bring their vehicle there either. And then they always comment with the idea of you can work things out with them but they never work things out with the people that contact them back, they are so fake.
We where on a trip from Florida, ended up having fuel pump issues.they where booked up bit fit us in and got is going again.being a tech myself they where very knowledgeable and got right too it.great place.
UPDATE... Never heard back on MY CONCERN. ☹️😠 They had good reviews and Im just barely ok with our result. I thought the bill was excessive considering they spent 5 hours apparently coming to the same conclusion they have before with other similar vehicles. The conclusion is we needed less than a $50 part. The owner said they spent way to much time trying to track this down with no luck and wasnt willing to look anymore. After we got clarification on the part... My wife located it in less than an hour. A little disappointing. Not sure why this cost what it did.
Great place! Owner is extremely knowledgeable and experienced with German cars. One of the most honest men I know. Last year I bought an old Porsche and took it to him to have a few parts replaced and general service. He called me the next day with a long list of things that needed to be fixed and gave me a price. When I told him ok, he told me to wait a day and think it over. Said the cost would be way more than the car would be worth afterwards, suggested considering getting rid of it and look around for a different one and made suggestions on what to look for and said “dont buy one until you let me look at it”.I took his advice and dumped it. Eventually got a better one. Brought it in for service recently and there was a fault with convertible that he fixed. Price was very reasonable. Highly recommend him!! Mike Zich
I have a 1995 VW/Winnebago Rialta. Could find no one capable of working in it, didnt have diagnostic system. Stumbled apon Autohaus, diagnosed and fixed problem in 2 days, whereas local shop couldnt even diagnose. I live in NC but will drive the 40 miles again for service
Rude lady at the front and was giving wrong pricing over the phone and a different price when walking in so we left, no to mention the lady at the front was rude.
2012 Audi S5- gearbox malfunction, clutch slipping-Moved here from Charlotte and with no Audi dealership to replace transmission I turned to Autohaus and they took care of me. Transmission was delivered there, they replaced my failing one (clutch slipping) and swapped out TCU. took about 2 weeks and I got my S5 fixed and the custom tune still in place. Drives great!
I recently bought a used 2011 Mini Cooper S convertible. I brought it in for a comprehensive check up and servicing. There were several issues that needed to be repaired. The estimate for parts and repair were very reasonable.Within 2 days, all the issues and parts were taken care of, and the work was expertly done. The car now runs great, and I am very pleased with the results. Thanks to Jergan for his expertise. I recommend Autohaus for their professional service.
We brought our 2012 TTRS to them that we had just bought 2 days before with a coolant leak. And we were 2 days from leaving SC to begin the drive back to Arizona!! 2200+ miles would not have been fun having to stop to add coolant frequently. They were happy to fit us in, understood what we wanted done, did exactly that and had the car finished the same day.EXCELLENT SERVICE and helped us complete our trip without any hint of an issue.THANK YOU!
Made an appointment online, drove an hour to get there and the staff make it seem like it’s my fault the use a horrible host for booking appointments. Either honor appointments made on your website or take it down. It’s 2020 and busy people do not have time to waste.
I had 2 window regulators replaced and they gave me timing and pricing estimates and stuck to both. I’m scheduled to bring it back for another issue and feel comfortable knowing I can trust them with their work AND their word.
Great people. Fantastic experience
Great service Jurgen is the best.
The people at Autohaus get 5 stars for excellence, honesty and flexibility. My son and a group of friends broke down in an old Audi on their way to senior week. Though the damage was significant and parts needed would have to be shipped, they were able to improvise and fix the issue in time for the group to drive back safely and make their graduation a few days later. Not only did they return without any issues, but Autohaus charged a fraction of what we would have owed if the parts and labor needed for a permanent fix were needed.
It was great service and outstanding employees
Charged 1200 to put a radiator in 2003 mini. overpriced. contacted bmw and even at dealer would of paid less...just gosomewhere else unless like to get ripe off and sometimes with prices like this always cross reference with the dealer.
Awesome work on my car .. very nice owners
Just had our 2007 Lexus in for a major repair. They took the time to diagnose the issue, call to explain and the estimate was spot on. They seem to really care about the customers. I intend on using them for all my car repair needs in the future. Very nice peole as well. Top notch all the way around.
I was told by the local VW dealership that I had three (3) oil leaks and then they gave me the estimate for all three (3). I called Autohaus Inc and spoke with Juergen (the owner) and he asked me to come in within 2 hours after my call. Their technician told me that you could not tell what needed to be repaired with all the oil everywhere, so he cleaned the entire engine area and then added a leak detector. After 200-250 miles of driving, I will return to Autohaus to see exactly what the issues are. Autohaus Inc is the best and they really care about you and your vehicle. I will not take my VW any where else. Thank you Juergen and Linda for ALL you do!!
Great Customer Service and Great Prices. European Car Specialist. Quality service, Fast & Friendly. I took my Porsche 911 there and was very satisfied with the work and the price.. Myrtle Beach Porsche Group
The owners seem to really care about their customers. They take the time to explain the diagnosis and allow you a chance the understand it. Very reasonable on prices. I drive a Mercedes and BMW and Autohaus has my business.
Called for a quote to install DIRECT FIT turbo & catless down pipe and was lied to! I’m more then Knowledgeable enough to know what the job entails don’t have time to perform so I thought I would throw my Business to a local shop! Use any other business in this place
Extremely personal and highest quality service. Your trust is immediately captured by the owners and is only exceeded by the professional and quality repairs that are completed, exactly as reviewed and exactly on time. Best service I have received from any dealer in many years of repairs to many vehicles. I will be back.
Autohaus was very responsive when my family was in need. Our family was driving from Florida to Myrtle Beach when our brakes on our Mercedes ML320 started majorly grinding. This was right during Thanksgiving when most shops were closed. Although the online reviews were mixed, I figured I was in need and would give them a try. The cost of the brake job was slightly higher than it probably would be on domestic cars... but given the fact that the owner explained the higher quality of parts used... and the fact that so many other shops were closed... I felt it was a fair enough price for the job. They were very quick getting my car repaired, and the staff was very pleasant.
This is a great shop. Honesty is the policy. They know what they are doing and have helped significantly.
Excellent service! They really know how to locate and repair the problem(s) with your vehicle. I highly recommend them!
We were visiting relatives in Myrtle Beach from New Jersey when the rear wiper blade on our Audi Q5 decided to give up the ghost. I thought that it would be easy to find a replacement blade locally but no such luck. The closest place to get a replacement was a couple of hours away. I stumbled upon Autohaus Inc. and they could not have been nicer / more helpful. They ordered the blade for overnight delivery and let me know the next day when it arrived. Although the blade replacement is a small and fairly inexpensive part, I was impressed with how willing they were to help a total stranger out - something which, in my experience anyway, is fairly unique in this day in age. If we lived here, we would certainly go to them for our other Audi service needs.
They will take care of you here -- full stop. I had a large repair ($1,500) and they had the thoughtfulness to report to the insurance agency for me, and the whole cost was nearly covered. They were timely, and efficient -- what one would expect from the very best. Dont even look at the dealer, just go to Jurgen and his guys first.
I had a custom exhaust put on my2001 Porsche 911. Its sounds amazing and the labor rate was great. I am very satisfied with the work & price. Thanks to AUTOHAUS.
They messed my jaguar up had to leave the car in Myrtle Beach and come back with my husbands car Hauler and get!
Great work on my wifes z4. Trust these guys.
Extremely unhappy with our experince, weve sold Autohaus an engine many months ago, there was a core charge that clearly stated that the engine needs to be in rebuildable condtion, Autohaus sent the customer away with out charging him the core charge, when they were informed that the core refund will not be issues due to, missing parts, missing cylidner head camshaft caps (renders cylidner head useless) and crankshaft damaged beyond repair due to oil starvation, they did not want to accept that answer. We have explained this to them many times and they kept calling and asking the same questions. Eventually they started making lies about us and given us a negetive review.
Best place to get your car fixed
Autohaus/ owner Junger works on my 2006 BMW M3 and treats it like its his own. His services are excellent, hes forthright with his fee estimate and I find his fees reasonable for the quality work performed. Recently Autohaus did a major scheduled maintenance on my M3. I brought the car back in to follow up on an issue. Junger jumped on the problem & quickly resolved it without charge. I was out of town when he finished the work so he kept my car garaged & even met me on a Sunday morning to accommodate my schedule & keep the M3 out of the weather. I highly recommend Autohaus.
Saved the day for us! Leaky pipes and overheating almost spoiled our weekend but they helped us fix everything quickly and honestly. Highly recommend them!
Dont take your car here they just wants your money they dont know what theyre doing you will have to bring your car back time and time again just to fix problem they were suppose to fix from start
Terrible experience here. The lady at the desk is too old to be working and can’t commjnicate clearly. Jurgen, the shop owner and mechanic is only concerned with high markups to charge people as he assumes foreign car equals money. My Jetta left unfixed as he would not accept the price from the warranty people for the part he was going to fix. Also my car left with the engine shaking more than ever and a weird knocking noise which I know isn’t good. I don’t recommend unless you have a lot of money or he won’t help you.
They took care of my 2003 525 like it was their car. My son drove in during vacation and battery/alternator trouble. The car was towed in and received late in the day, Autohaus still received and diagnosed the trouble like we were their regular customers. Expedited parts that night and car was fixed the next day.If I have trouble near Myrtle Beach again, Autohaus will be the only shop I take my car to.
Great Customer Service, Great Prices, European Car Specialist, Ive had work done on my Porsche 911 and was very satisfied with pricing and serviceMyrtle Beach Porsche Group love the Autohaus
Great experiences with them.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS SHOP!!These guys are SCHEISTERS!After phoning ahead to make sure they could look at the car, had our Volvo towed to them with a notstarting issue.Requested that they call us with the diagnosis before making any repairs. After waiting 4 days to hear from them, we called to check the status. We received a call from the owner, Jurgen Zimmer, that afternoon. He told us that the crank sensor needed to be replaced and he had already started the repair. He estimated it would cost about $300. We asked why he did not call us before he started to get our authorization. He pretty much told us that he was the expert and thats what the car needed. Not having much of a choice, we agreed to replace the sensor. The next day, expecting a call that the car was ready, instead received another call from Mr. Zimmer informing us that the car needed a fuel pump. His estimate was nearly $800. That seemed high, so we asked him to hold up on that.We did some research on line, and called two other shops. We found that the typical/average fuel pump replacement cost (OME parts & labor) was less than $500. We found brand new Volvo original pumps on line for under $150.We then called Mr. Zimmer and asked that if we provide the part, would they install it. He DID NOT LIKE that idea, but eventually agreed on the condition that he would not warranty the repairs. He also quoted another $250 in labor. This was on a Wednesday morning. At that point, we considered having the car picked up and taken to another shop, but towing would have been another $100. We preceeded to order the pump on line, and paid additional for expedited shipping. We received and delivered the part to Autohaus the following we waited for a call but did not receive one.We called again the next Monday, but Mr. Zimmer was apparently too busy to talk. When we did receive a return call, Mr. Zimmer informed us that they had installed the pump, but now the car needed an ignition coil(?). His estimate was nearly $300.Again, we did our research and found we could purchase an OEM coil for under $50. We also conferred again with another shop back in our home town, which we had used before and highly trusted. The other shop said that this guy was playing games with us, and that it was very highly unlikely that all three of those componentswould fail simultaneously. The ignition coil was probably the issue to begin with. This guy was either bilking us for unnecessary repairs, or he didnt know what he was doing and just guessing at it, maybe both.At this point, against our better judgment, we agreed to the repairs. We just wanted to get our car back asap. When we arrived to pick it up, we asked if we could see the car to make sure it would start & run.Mr. Zimmer would not allow us to test drive the car, and became adamant that we pay before receiving the keys (the total bill was about $750). We asked him to explain the bill, which was not well itemized. He became extremely angry that we were guestioning his expertise. He does not accept checks, so we paid with a credit card. They brought the car around to the front of the shop. I started the car & popped the hood for a quick look. I also popped the trunk lid, since that is how the fuel pump is accessed. The carpet mat was still pulled back, the access panel and electronic module were lying on the floor panel with other miscellaneous nuts & hardware. In other words, they had not even finished the repairs! We are out nearly $1,000 for what should have been a $250 repair. These guys are con artists, BEWARE!We are reporting them to the BBB and anyone else that we can.
WORST NIGHTMARE EVER!!! Took my CL600 to Jurgen Zimmermen and he took a week to fix a crankshaft sensor and I paid $700 no biggie. Got the car 8 miles later it did the same thing. Found out he text drove my 600 hp car 28 miles the first time. He then proceeded to tell me the RADIATOR blew while he was teST driving and I need to pay him another $1000 to have fixed what HE broke! I told him to drop my car off @ the shop next door and I would have them repair my car. When I arrived my car was sitting all the way on the ground because he also blew out the air suspension in the car. This will cost serval thousand more to fix. Jurgen took no responsibility for the damages he did to my car while in his shop. Mr. Jurgen is 75 years old and speaks broken English at best. This is a classic example of mechanic trying to scam people out every dollar they can! Come to find out the original $700 in repairs didnt even need to be done. Now I have to pay an Honest mechanic Thousands of dollars to repair the Damage this man did. He is rude, nasty con man who will not get away with it this time. I am reporting him to the BBB local chamber of commerce and taking him to court for the damage he did. I smartly recorded all of conversation where admits to doing all of the above and refusing to fix the car. I believe he purposely damaged my car after I brought the car back to EXTORT more money. He has broken a lot of laws and will be taken to court! PLEASE PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM AUTO HAUS AND TELL EVERYONE ELSE IN THE MYRTLE BEACH AREA TO DO THE SAME!!! People work hard in tough times these days and to have a failing mechanic shop try and Extort people is simply unfair and unjust!!!!
Best place to fix a German car
I was in town for a conference, and my 325i developed a serious issue on my way in. Dropped it off at Autohaus and they had me back on the road in two days.
This is the only place that i trust under my hood
Does great work
