We ran over a deer 1st day on vacation. Our car was making a terrible noise. Stayed in a hotel 1 mile away and arrived Sparks at 730 am. They were extremely nice and so understanding. Took us right in. The man that took care of us was so friendly and kind. Got our car fixed and back on the road within 30 minutes. Wonderful waiting area. But the way that everyone was so friendly and helpful blew me away. I would give them 10 stars

Went to Toyota to trade in my car. Charles was very helpful and patient. He wasn’t pushy at all - which is rare for car sales. It took 2and a half hours to have my tires rotated and needed my hatch back aligned because it came out of the factory not aligned and Toyota Corporate told me any Toyota dealership could fix the problem.The one thing that impresses me when buying a car is their service department. So Sparks need to explain that to their service dept
My first experience at Sparks Toyota...I had warranty service of an oil change, tire rotation, etc., today. The only improvement I would suggest is signage for the location of the person to start the process with, in the service department upon arrival. A sweet lady employee noticed that lost look that I had and directed me correctly. Dennis, the service advisor handled the process very efficiently. He was able to answer all my questions and took the time to be sure I understood. He was very knowledgeable. Everyone was friendly, which made the wait pleasurable. Remarkable customer service!

Was greeted and waited for an evaluation of what was wrong with my car. The service team friendly and informative. They explained that since I didnt have an appointment Id have a longer wait. After several hours they gave me paperwork that had all the issues.The waiting areas are large with many chairs and tables. There is no space for someone in a wheelchair. Since the layout of the areas are all arranged with chairs making squares with just enough space for a person to fit through it leaves no space for a wheelchair. So, it forced me to sit outside of the area, semi blocking a walkway from the show room to the service waiting areas.
The salesman was very professional and treated me with respect. He answered the questions we had and was interested in hearing from me after the sale. He also made himself available to help with the operation of the radio and other systems on the car. The other staff that I dealt with were also friendly and let me make my own decisions about the down payment, etc. I will certainly recommend Sparks Toyota to family and friends.

Paul Callaghan,service advisor,was prompt,extremely courteous and answered questions.He performed quick diagnostics to answer my concerns. The vehicle was left for initial maintenance and a recall matter. When I left dealership felt in competent hands. My C HR was ready in a short time frame. So far am giving excellent review.
I was greated right away and then I was ask what I needed done. I went to the waiting area which was clean and nice. I also noticed there was a childrens room which I thought was a good idea. Waited a while and then Sean came in to discuss and explain what else should be done. I was glad to have that information and to get most of that done also. I also got a great Happy Hour discount. Wait was a little longer that expected but I guess that was because of Happy Hour 😃😃

It was our son‘s first purchase of a new vehicle. Troy the general manager was very instrumental along with very talented sales people who were very professional and easy-going. The contract administrative people were also very good and Patrick sparks himself even stop by to say hello and welcomed us and thanked us for doing business. Good people, just be aware that the price on new vehicles posted on their website is not the actual price. They add an addition fee on new cars since it’s harder to get them in. Not a big deal, just weird that they would advertise one price online and a different price once you’re on the lot. Transparency is everything.
Had to wait 2.5 hours for this 20000 mile maintenance. Found out Mon and Tues are very busy . Will not make that mistake again!Otherwise all went well with personable people ( but only 1-2 women) involved in check in and out.Will go back in 6 months on Wednesday-Friday !!

Our salesman DJ was extremely helpful he was honest, no games, went over the car throughly helped with adding the car to our insurance and followed us home to get a check when we had forgotten our checkbook. Very good experience!

I have nothing but positive praises! I took my car to Florence Toyota 5 different time for a tire vibrating issue and was exhausted with the whole process. When I pulled in the advisor was speaking to a customer who seemed be difficult. His facial expressions and his tone was calm and professional. He listened and repeated what notes he took for clarity. They serviced my car and brought it around and…..voilà. The issue is fixed! I’m super happy!!!
They were able to do the work right away but the price paid seemed to be very high to replace the coils and spark plugs. The labor for this was over $600 with the diagnosis. With parts it was over $1,600. I put the price and service in so that the reader can make their own assessment.

We discussed a price and ended up driving home my sons first new (used) Honda Civic. He said the car was solid and a good runner. Well I drove it over 600 miles home that night. The car ran great!I couldn’t be more happy with how we were treated from the time we walked in, till the time we finished up signing the loan paperwork..We got a 1 owner Civic with 18,600 miles on it, solid body and in good shape. It was hard to believe the miles, but the carfax they provided backed up the story.So thanks to David, and the team at Sparks Toyota in SC.. if I ever need another ride new or used and am in the area I will definitely shop there first… the rest can wait

I was gratified to have been allowed to add air conditioning service which I hadnt mentioned when I originally made the appointment for an oil and filter change. The waiting room was pleasant, as usual. The requested tasks were completed in the time that had been estimated by the service advisor. It occurred to me that I have should have asked whether the 2010 Prius II has a requirement to have its timing belt/timing chain periodically replaced; this will have to be the subject of a future visit to this dealership. We located a car for our daughter online at Sparks. I submitted an inquiry and was contacted by Oliva the next morning. She stayed in contact with us until we were ready to make the purchase. The whole process took less than a hour to complete and our daughter was leaving with her new car. Very pleased and will be back in the future.
The level of professionalism at Sparks Toyota is top notch. A clean and organized operation, with polite staff. I called to make an appointment for an alignment and they were able to fit me in the very next day. I would like to take a moment to tell about my experience with Sparks Toyota. My wife and I were visiting Myrtle Beach and I went to unlock our drivers side door on our 2018 Toyota Camry and the lock cylinder would only turn inside the housing after working with it for several minutes I finally got the car unlocked. We took it to Sparks Toyota and they took our car right in and looked at it and offered us two options to repair it. They ordered the part and had it the next day and repaired our vehicle in under a hour. The people at Sparks Toyota are top notch and Paul Callaghan the service advisor was very professional and I would highly recommend this dealership for any service or repair.

Ive recently bought two vehicles from this dealership and my experiences with them can be categorized as poor, at best. On both occasions when I purchased, I dealt directly with Chip Bull. He seems to be a decent fellow to deal with-----he liked to talk a lot and shoot the bull with me---which isnt too unusual for someone in his position. .However, the customer satisfaction piece once I drove the vehicles off the lot leaves a lot to be desired.My most recent purchase was a used 2018 Toyota Avalon Limited. When I purchased it, I failed to notice that the windows were heavily tinted----my bust. This only became an issue when I subsequently notified them that I have since decided to relocate to North Carolina and the windows would almost certainly not pass inspection in that state. I pointed this out to Chip first, and he gave me the classic run around with no satisfaction provided. I then decided to work my way up the chain of command. I really wanted to talk directly with the owner, but the young lady who manned the phones would not even hear of it. It seems that his primary availability is focused on making slick television commercials, and getting access to him otherwise is next to impossible-----somewhat analogous to breaking into Fort Knox. That said, she did do me the honor of letting me talk to a guy named Chris, who is seemingly the General Manager. Old Chris wasnt having a particularly good day when we talked. It seemed that both he and Chip were only focused on putting me through the expense and inconvenience of going over to an inspection station in North Carolina to verify that the windows would not pass inspection over there. Instead, I asked them to get their tint guy to check the percentage of tint on my Toyota and, lo and behold, they told me that poor fellow didnt currently have a tint meter/gauge. Seemingly, he had one at some point in time, but he had either lost it or misplaced it. Please. Theres something wrong with this picture. Making television commercials isnt cheap. Purchasing tint meters/gauges is, relatively speaking, cheap. Surely they can afford to purchase that device.Now, the responsibility will almost certainly be on me to bear the cost of re-tinting the vehicle I purchased from this high profile Myrtle Beach Toyota dealership with the understanding that they would honor their commitments after the sale. This is extremely disappointing, to say the least. I can hear them now. They will most likely go blah, blah, blah and please get in touch with us to try and work this out. Nope, they need to man up, take the initiative to contact me and get this mess straightened out before I hit the road. Although Im not holding my breath for this to happen.
My experience today started out very pleasing. I was working with a sales associate named Ashley. Ashley was doing a really good job doing a location on a new Tacoma for us. Should have been a no hassle easy sell as all the financing was in place. But then she brought in this arrogant sales manager. Unfortunately I did not get his name. And proceeded to insult me and my son and had absolutely the worst attitude to the point we got up and left. This was a lay up For Ashley to close and this guy ruined it. Never will I go to Sparks again and I will make sure I tell everybody how horrible this sales managers attitude is. He cost you the sale today
I got a great value at Sparks Toyota using the Buy 3 Tires, get 4th for $1 Deal. I usually get 5 Star service at my dealer, but on this visit my service advisor seemed a little off. I stood outside my car for 6-7 minutes in the service bay, while my advisor joked around with employees and was in no rush to help me. When he finally came to check me in, I felt like my service was not important. My service took an hour and 40 minutes, a different service advisor walked me thru the the checkout. Anyway, great value on my tires.
The customer service at Sparks Toyota is impeccable. I came in to change one tire, and was educated on a lot of information I didnt know about tires in general. Jon Crumb and the mechanics he worked with were friendly and efficient and I will recommend them to all.

They were courteous, and service was performed promptly. One complaint is that some of my personal settings had been modified and I had to spend time resetting them - which meant I had to go back to the User’s Manual. This is a persistent problem with service personnel - when I have the home AC serviced I have to reset all the controls - aggravating!!!
Everything went great! I was in for an oil change and tire rotation and expected to have to wait awhile. I brought my laptop but didn’t even get finished with my work because they were finished! They let me stay and finish what I was doing without rushing me.

While on vacation on a Friday night on a holiday weekend my RAV4 quit running. At first it would jump off and run for a short time. On Saturday morning I called Sparks Toyota and they worked me in. This was Labor Day weekend so I was concerned I would not be able to get it fixed until Tuesday and I had to go home on Monday. They were very helpful and professionally courteous. They gave me a contact for a tow truck which was very professional also. Car was fixed and I was on my way by mid afternoon. I highly recommend them.

I came down here on vacation from Pittsburgh and had some problem with my 1 week old car. They took my Car in right away and found the problem and fixed it before the shuttle ride they offered me back to my Hotel was ready. 5,000 mile servicePut incorrect mileage out on the paperwork. Incorrectly listed 32 psi as factory spec for front and rear tires. Regardless, they overfilled my tires to 38–39.5 psi. Actual spec (found on the driver door jam) is 35 front 33 rear. Rotated tires in the incorrect pattern: they did cross-cross; the manual dictates front-back. Didn’t recalibrate TPWS after tire rotation, so the app shows the wrong location of each tire. I went back in and Shayline said that they (the technicians) don’t know how to recalibrate it and that they just know how to fix problems. Apparently not. She also said that Sparks Toyota has their own standard for tire pressure and that them overfilling the tires improves ride quality. No, overfilling a tire decreases grip and increases how bumpy the ride is. The Corolla is already bumpy enough, thank you.Shayline also lied to me when she explained the disclaimer of warranties that they wanted me to sign before getting my key back. Shayline said that “it basically says that you dropped off your vehicle and picked it up”. Sure, you’re probably trained to say that, but the disclaimer of warranties is a cop out for the dealership so they can’t be held responsible for botching a repair job.And I quote: “The only warrantees, if any applying to these parts, and for services are those offered by the manufacturer. The express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchanability or fitness for a particular purpose, and the seller neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to assume for it any liability in connection with the sale of these parts and/or services. Buyer shall not be entitled to recover from seller any consequential damages, damages to property, damages for loss of use, loss of time, loss of profits or income, or any other incidental damages.”No, it doesn’t say anything about anyone dropping off or picking up a car. It says that if anything goes wrong as a result of their handiwork, I waived my right to recover damages from them.I will be seeking future service at a professional dealership with actually trained Toyota experts who warrantee their repairs, not rogue “technicians” who make their customers sign a waiver.It truly is unbelievable how untrustworthy everyone is becoming.After consulting the owner’s manual, page 481–482 lays out in plain English:“Initializing the tire pressure warning system (if equipped)■ The tire pressure warning system must be initialized in the following circumstances:•When rotating front and rear tires which have different tire inflation pressures….”It didn’t take but 3 minutes to find that. You’d think that the dealer would know better.
Sparks Toyota always does a magnificent job, working on my 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser, which has 325,459 miles on it. Recently they replaced a front axle hub and last week they completed a Head Gasket replacement in record time!!!!!My Service Advisor: Ernest Wyatt Hayes is amazing...he is patient, knowledgeable, caring and thorough. He has been a pleasure to work with!!!!My Technician: Sean Turner is Off the Chart!!!!! Did oil change & tire rotation quickly & provided me with the recommendations for future service needs. Had a slight problem with the billing as they attempted to charge me for the tire rotation when I had a coupon for free tire rotation. It was quickly resolved, which is the only reason they did not get five stars, however they were extremely professional & friendly which is always appreciated

Staff were professional and courteous. Repairs were completed in a timely manner. I appreciated the loan of a car while my vehicle was in the shop for repairs. Their Service Department utilizes a well organized system which provides efficient service. I will use Sparks Toyota again should I need service for my vehicle.
