These guys were super quick and efficient, they immediately jumped on looking at my car under my time constraints, very polite, respectable, and hardworking. I called out and spoke to Adam, I was trying to get to the shop and Google Maps didnt take me to the right location but he explained where I needed to go. My cars battery had died but after I got it jumped off I took it to them and they tested it, everything checked out. They took it for a drive for a shuddering issue I had been experiencing. They said the integrity of everything was fine, said that if it happened again it might be a misfiring issue and to bring it back if it started happening again. Trustworthy and dependable folks, I highly recommend!

I went in to have my check engine light diagnostic done. Turns out it was a simple oil cap not replaced correctly after an oil change at another location. They were so great and didnt charge me. Love them.

We are in Myrtle Beach on vacation and had to fill up on oil, after we filled up we noticed that the hood wasn’t locking closed correctly. we google searched a mechanic service close by and they fixed it for us within 10 minutes at no cost. Very nice people at the front desk and we appreciated the hospitality so much.

I was on vacation with my son playing in the Cal Ripken tournament when my car started to stall out. I thought i repaired it, but ended up having all the oil leak out of my engine. I was 9 hours from home and trying to help coach a travel baseball team. Stress level 99. I could not find a shop to see my car inside of 5 days. Finally found this shop with good reviews. This shop is a 5 star repair shop. Saved my butt, was fair, professional, and took complete care of my car. It was repaired a day before I had to leave and I got home with no issues. We were traveling from Ohio and our heat shield fell off and instead of making us wait they got us in right away. Not only did they take care of our concerns but they made it so we could enjoy the rest of our vacation!! Cant thank them enough for the peace of mind.

We called this shop in a crisis as our back tire on our dually was making all kinds of crazy noises. We went to another mechanic down the road and they said we didn’t have an appointment. I called Adam frantically asking if he could help, from the moment I called until the end of the job the guys were all amazing. They had us in and out in no time and all had a smile on their face. This is the first mechanic I felt actually cared about the work they did and they were truly amazing. I took my 07 Honda Ridgeline to this shop because it was shaking when accelerating. Called and spoke with Adam and he said it was diagnosed as bad CV axles and bad hub bearings! I recently had the driver side front CV axle replaced four days prior and passenger side front three months prior. When I called and spoke with Adam I explained that they were just replaced! I was confused why they would go bad so fast. He then told me he would speak with the mechanic that diagnose the issue. I asked if he would call me back after he spoke with the mechanic. His answer was for me to call back if I wanted the work done. I then called back and he told me that they would take pictures of the bad cv axles. No pictures were taken! I explain to him that I was going to be moving in the next few days and was willing to pay the $1500 that they asked as long as it would solve the shaking issue. I was promised that the shaking would be fixed! I picked up my truck Friday afternoon and drove my truck home finding out that it was still shaking. I called the shop and they said there was no way that they could get it back in and that when I get to Connecticut they would reimburse a shop the money if the work done was not done correctly! The work was done correctly but (missed diagnosed)! There is no way that my CV axles went bad driving my truck for just a few days. I paid $1500 and the same problem that I went in was not solved! Basically I paid $1500 and the issue was not solved! I had to drive all the way to Connecticut with my truck shaking not being able to go over 60 mph! Now I am out $1500 and have to find the shop that can fix the REAL problem! I basically threw away $1500 because of a missed diagnosis!

Was visiting from Charlotte and my car had the engine shield drop and was dragging. Didnt have any tools or equipment with me so i called Adam and he told me to come by. They put my car on the lift and got me buttoned up. Tried to pay and he wouldnt take anything! What a great guy, i still tipped the technician for his time. Definitely a great shop that wont rip you off!

Had my ac compressor go out in the middle of family vacation. Called and they said to bring it right in to have it looked at. When I got there, they immediately started looking at my suv. They said they could have it fixed the same day. The manager gave me a ride back to my resort so I could spend time with the family while I waited. He even came and picked me up when car was done. It was an expensive fix but reasonable for what needed to be done and the time it took. These guys are amazing

I was on vacation here and found out on the day we were to depart for Maryland that my Porsche Cayenne wasnt pulling as usual. I took my car to this shop, the employees were very friendly and welcoming. I explained that I was due back today. They went to work diagnosing the issues with my car. Unfortunately, the computer pointed to lots of issues in the engine as the culprit for the loss of power. The guys took their time and work diligently for about an hour to pinpoint the issue. They gave me a very fair price and Mr Ernie made arrangements for parts delivery. However, due to logistics on my part, I was unable to go ahead with the repairs but opted to pay at least for the diagnostic work. Ernie graciously refused to accept any dime and even advised me on how to safely drive the car back to Maryland. I arrived back home safely and the car has now been repaired based on their diagnosis and seriously, the price Ernie gave me was better than what I eventually paid. Thank you Mr Ernie. You guys do really know your stuff and you do it with great smile and kindness. Thank you

Sooooo...here goes...my sons 98 Acura needed service after not cranking. He goes to CCU and I live in Charleston so I took a day off to get it fixed. I arrived day one around 9am...played a round of golf and got a call around 330p with the verdict...he needed a starter and they couldnt begin work until the next day because they needed the part. Day 2 came and work on car was delayed because the part didnt come on time..day 3 work begins but again delayed because of an axle issue...Ernie or Adam(cant remember) ensured me that they would have it done day 4..day 4 arrives and the car is ready at 2p. The initial quote was $1,039, but they only charged me a flat $900! So to sum this experience up...it started off a little rocky but Ernie and Adam made it right in the end. For them to not charge me for the axle cleanup and exhaust gasket was very very courteous of them! They did not have to do that! Perhaps, they took into fact that it was a 4 day fix, but I am a satisfied customer. I chose these guys because of the positive reviews I read and I am glad that I can add another positive review to their name! Thanks guys!Mr. Gibbs.

I really tried my hardest to do business with this place and stay local. I needed to get my AC fixed and called and texted the owner Ernie numerous times over a two week span. He kept saying he’s working on a quote but I never received anything.Than he texts me ten days later and said I was so backed up but I hope you got a good mechanic to fix it for you!!!! Didn’t even try to do business with me. Who does this????From his reply I hope other customers coming here can see his arrogance and lack of I professionalism.

I’m new to the Myrtle beach area and I knew my car needed a lot of work but I had no idea where to bring it. I called these guys in the afternoon and they were quick and friendly. One of my repairs was pretty urgent and they were able to fit me in that same day and schedule out the rest of my repairs for me. Prices are fair, and start to finish I’ve had the best experience with them! I would highly recommend checking them out, and it’s the only place I’ll be bringing my car from now on!

Grew up with my father taking our cars to these guys. My dad was able to keep moving and my 3 brothers and I have continued going here. My family (6 total) and I had just checked out of our hotel room and were getting ready to travel all the way back to Syracuse, NY. Our van completely died due to the alternator failing. The AAA tow truck driver we got was amazing and called 6 different places to find one that could get us in that day and we had very little money and could not afford the part and labor plus staying another night in Myrtle Beach. He then recommended we go see Ernie and Adam. He towed the van to them and they found time to look at the van immediately even though they were swamped. Unfortunately my alternator is very expensive and when Adam gave us the total he could tell we were very worried about the cost and having gas money to get all the way home. He ended up trimming costs where he could and made sure we could still get home and cover the part. I know they took a heavy hit doing the labor for the amount we paid and took time from their other customers just to make sure we werent stranded. I can never say thank you enough for the kindness they showed especially Adam and his willingness to help complete strangers. They did great work and were angels in disguise. I highly recommend using this shop for any auto work you need done. Good work and honest people. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.

I have been bringing my cars there for many years. I like to drive cars until the wheels fall off and then get new wheels and drive some more. Ernie, Paul, and Adam have kept my cars running for a very long time. They will save you money when they can by fixing things inalternative ways if requested, but always making sure the car is safe.Highly recommended.

Stopped by on a Friday at 4:30 pm 30 minutes before the shop closed. I was on vacation and the AC in our van went out. The employee went out of his way to quickly diagnose the problem and figured it out. He sent me on my way free of charge. I would highly recommend this shop.

Great People and Service

My fuel pump died yesterday afternoon, and Ernie got it fixed in about four business hours. He made sure, after all the cranking involved, that the battery was full before I got it back, and I only know that because I tried to charge it when I got home. He left more gas in the tank than when I handed it off to him. He gets the job done quickly, and he pays attention to detail.His reputation for honesty is well-earned and, with regard to the single negative review, I am going to surmise that some people just want the impossible and are never satisfied.

The starter on my BMW went out while I was in Myrtle on vacation. Ernie answered the phone in off-hours and provided solid advice. The next day he performed the repair at a reasonable price and with the OEM Bosch part. Very fair, straightforward and quality work. There is always a risk that you will not be treated well in situations like that (or at most garages). There was none of that here, very refreshing - thank you.

Came down from Hamilton, ON with our family and heard some noise from the rear of the vehicle. Was at the mercy of the shop and told them we were due for new brakes soon. Within an hour of just dropping in with the van, I was told it was a minor problem they told me what it was and had fixed it already. $20 later I was out of there. Honest mechanics are worth their weight in gold and these guys are awesome!!!!

I have had Ernie fix my car plenty of the times in the past few years. For two years I didnt know where Ernie located. I just learned where he is. I have not had a good mechanic in three years. Now, that I know where he is now. I will now go back to him. He is very honest and I am grateful for his honesty about my vehicle. I am a single woman and is difficult to know when a mechanic is telling you the truth. He is very truthful and honest. I am glad to find him again.

I was referred by my AAA driver when my car broke down and I must say, Ernie is the best! The day I went in, I had go to work before my car was repaired and they took care of me- gave me a ride to work and everything. The price to repair my car was fair, didnt even charge to take a look at it which, most places will charge you $100 just to open your hood. It was really unexpected and such a blessing. I will definitely recommended to anyone in need of car repairs.

I was referred by my landlord to have my Chevy Trailblazer worked on. Come to find out the engine was blown. It took me approximately three weeks to get the lost title to the shop due to lack of transportation & my working schedule. At the time, I really appreciated his patience and understanding. I was told I would receive a call when the car had been crushed. Thats was over two months ago. When I called to inquire about it, I was told to call back on Monday and hung up on. Monday morning, I call and was told to call back Wednesday and hung up on again! I called back to get an understanding of why Im getting blown off. I was told that the they work on 20-30 cars a day & my paperwork was filed way back. Then I was told my vehicle sat up there for three or four months, and he didnt get much for it. I didnt understand why he would fabricate the statement about the time frame, and if he had called me when it was crushed like he said he would; I would not have to be a bother now!!! Im sure the vehicle didnt sit up there for three months because I was pregnant during the time, and I just given birth last month. Im even more sure I took the title to him during my second trimester. I really dont appreciate being lied to & dismissed because others dont do what the say what they were going to do!

I went to Myrtle beach on vacation i was having problems with my drive belt i went to the nearest automotive repair shop which it the auto care LLC I went into the shop spoke with a guy by the name of Adam and the owner of the shop Ernie they walked out look at my van said they could fix the belt they charge my Mother’s credit card for the repairs in the amount of $320.00 they kept my about three hours after dropping me off at my condo and pick me up when they said they had my van ready they pick me up after the shop had closed!! So I look underneath hood before leaving their shop to check things out I then get into my van drove 2miles to my condo got out of my van check under my hood again and my vehicle was loosing all of my power steering fluid from the mechanic work that was performed by the shop they had damage my lines with zip ties they had put on my line instead putting the lines back in the proper place ‘n I took my car back to them the next day and they refused to fix the problem their mechanic created they told my mom they would refund and returned her $320.00 back to her credit card as of July 9th and several times after of July 13th, 16th And 18th And today they had returned it yesterday as I spoke to Adam and Ernie today and the owner Ernie hung the phone up and being very dishonest and truthful on what he said he would do to take of this matter especially when you lie to my mother. So to all the customers out there I would never recommend this shop for services to anyone because they are not honest in what they say or do
