On vacation from Virginia. Picked up a nail that destroyed a rear tire on my Suburban. AAA got my spare installed and back on the road. Went to Discount Tire close to the campground we were staying in the next day. They had to order the heavy load rated tires I needed from another store. Had them in the next day. Went in for my appointment and was in and out in a little over an hour. Special thanks to Morgan for his attitude and professional service. Overall great experience at a very fair price.

They were fantastic, I would recommend them to everyone. I purchased new tires and paid 11.00 extra a tire for insurance. Today I had a nail in my tire not only did they get me in but also it was time for rotation. All at no cost to me. Staff is so friendly. Thanks Cody for the awesome job.

I had a flat and needed it replaced so I brought my car here. Brent was awesome and super helpful. The tires for my car aren’t usually in stock so he told me of another size that actually works for my car they had in stock which ended up being cheaper anyway! I dropped my car off and almost by the time I got home I got a notification that it was finished! Highly recommend giving your business to them.

I was at the beach on vacation only to find a sheet metal screw in my right front tire. Discount Tire was the only place able to fit me in same day. Brent was amazing and patient with everyone that came in to the store. Best of all, no charge for the repair. I truly appreciate them helping me out in my time of need.

Brought tires from them 37000 miles ago still has warranty......they tell you at time of purchase tire repairs are free up until warranty runs out. Ive been there twice for tire repairs since purchase of tires,each time ive been pushed to the end of the line of business simply because its a tire repair for free and not a new purchase or is there new money being spent.....such a double standard with these corporate businesses....hold up to your end of the bargain for customer repairs....with the same energy you have when people are purchasing $100s of new tires the same way when they come in for repairs

Was in a pinch on the last day of our vacation and had caught a nail the day before. Stopped at two shops closer to where we were staying and everyone turned us away because they were booked. I totally understand that so I called discount tire before driving further and they said they’d get me in, but may have a small wait. I was promptly greeted in the parking lot and checked in right away. They definitely made my day a lot smoother and allowed me to be able to get to enjoy the final day of vacation.

Terrific location and great crew members. Plan ahead as doing any type of tire work takes time. Drop off your car and theyll text you when it is done...follow on the progress as well via their app. Free tire repairs and top quality work brings me back time and time again.

Make an appointment and it literally took 20 minutes and the guarantee is awesome.

Nice people, but whoever was working ruined my tire in attempt to patch a nail hole. Good news, they are paying for a brand new tire, bad news is that I had only bought that one 4mths ago. Super long wait time, even after they texted me to come back, it was still over an hour before my car went in to bay. At least they are buying me a new tire, and put a loaner tire on. Id go back and give them another chance. Everyone appeared to be over worked, probably due to staff shortage. This visit just was well below my expectations

I called and asked if I could get my spare tire put on my truck as I am in town and I had a tire go bad on the way in pulling a camper. The young guy on the phone assured me they could rotate a wheel from spare (stock size)to the truck which has 24” wheels. I made it clear it had aftermarket wheels in this size and he said they could do it and to come up. So after driving all the way there they told me they can work on my truck because of it having 24” wheels. I just needed a spare put on and the wheel removed, just lug nuts!! They simply refused. They need to all get on the same page at this place, training is needed and a desire to help someone from out of town would be nice. I’d give them 0 stars if that was an option. AVOID THIS LOCATION IF YOU HAVE A REAL NEED!

Grace was amazing! We had a little glitch with the computer recognizing the new tire pressures for the tires we purchased, but Grace knew just what to do and jumped in to resolve it. Hands-down the best tire place I’ve ever been to was treat it like I was family very well taken care of highly recommend it would never ever go to another tire place again they have my business forever.

Bought four new tires online and set up my appointment. When I got there they had a sign with my name on it had me pull right in and had old tires off and new ones on in half an hour! Everyone working there was very nice, great experience!

Very clean and friendly location. It was not crowed when I pulled up around 8:20am. It took around 25 mins for them to change all 4 tires on my vehicle . Pretty impressive I might say. I would recommend going to this location if you need tires.

I have delt with Discount Tire for over 10yrs. I started using them back in Tennessee. I always had great fast service,Great prices, and felt like family. I moved to Myrtle Beach in 2017 and at that time there was no DT here but shortly after new store opened in Surfside. I was excited they opened up here and began using them right away. Almost immediately I knew this was not the customer service I was used to. The employees in the shop do not hustle like I had become accustom to at the stores in Tn. They seem lethargic and slow. I recently had to take my car In For flat repair and had to wait nearly 3 hrs as I did not have another ride to leave my vehicle. They said the apps were ahead if me although many were picking their vehicles up later in the day. I was the only waiting custo.er in the waiting area much of the time.They also are not willing to negotiate on prices as readily as the previous stores I had worked with. My overall experience has not been positive. I may be actively looking for another tire store for future tire needs.

Absolutely wonderful experience overall at Discount Tire. The staff is incredibly kind, caring and respectable. They went way out of their way to make sure I felt welcomed and at peace. Needed to install McGard wheel locks and lugs while on vaca and didnt have a torque wrench. Went to the shop at 0800 and was done in 30mins. AMAZING!! Special mention and thankyou to Grace who was very professional, attentive and proficient in her job. Well done. You the best !!

Had the displeasure of recieving a phone call stating the tires I ordered a week ago were not in stock just 2 days before my appt date. Have to leave town on old worn out tires because they cant keep track of their stock before purchasing. Go anywhere else.

These guys and gal are always very friendly and even though they were super busy today, everyone I interacted with was friendly, courteous and diligent. The folks here really do try very hard.

When I arrived, they seemed extra busy, phone ringing, people kept walking in the store. One of the employees made sure to greet everyone and put them on a list, while also answering the phone and dealing with his customer, me! They seemed very efficient and knowledgeable. They must be busy for a reason. After making my purchase they scheduled me an hour later for install. I had lunch, went back in an hour, new tires put on, and I was back home within 2 hours with a full belly and new tires. They did a great job. I believe the employee that helped me was Justin. Thank you! Needed my tire fixed or new tire. Turned out to be a screw in the side wall. On my way I received a call from my husband’s doctor that his labs indicated that he needed to go to the ER. (At MUSC 2.5 hours away) I was emotional and the team at discount tire immediately stepped up and did everything they could to get me on the road QUICKLY! The customer service and service techs were fabulous, understanding and beyond efficient! Thank you. I appreciate all that you did do quickly help me!

When in with a flat in my trunk. Tony ray and joe fixed it in no time like nascar pros. I was gonna put it back on myself and they insisted in putting it on for me. 5 min latter I’m ready to pay and they charged me not one red cent. Purchased 4 tires. Work was done well. But the sales person directed me backing out of the garage and signal me go go left were people were standing.there. exit on the right??. Make sure you check your mirrors. Someone bumped mine. .and cause me a accident there.? And after buying 4 new tires. The manager. Was rude to me .and cared more about a car that wasnt even worked on yet. This is the first place ever I drive in and out of their garage.

I posted this on Nextdoor last week......My daughter just had a nail in her tire. Her husband brought the car into Discount Tire on 17 Bypass. Get this. As a service to the local community they patched her tire at no charge. My son in law was also told that they will check the air in your tires at no charge. On top of all this my son in law said they were the nicest people and got the car in, fixed, and out very quickly. Guess you know where anyone in my family is going for tires when we need them!!!

Great place to buy tires! We called to check stock, and they were able to schedule us the same day. Within 2 hours of our initial call, we drove away with 4 brand new tires on our truck. Prices are reasonable, service is friendly and helpful, and they offer free flat repair and rotations with your purchase. We definitely recommend them.

Was experiencing wobbling steering wheel after a road trip from New York. Decided to give discount tires a call and was told to bring the car in, as it sounded like a tire issue. Was greeted by Cody, who gave a full detailed inspection of all four of my tires and suggested I replace one of them. After all tires were rotated and balanced, my problem was completely fixed. I didnt break the bank either. Thanks Cody for being so helpful!

I have never had such fantastic customer service. I was greeted in my car by cody who was there to see how they could help me. I came in because I had a huge knot in my tire from hitting a pot hole. They were going to change out the spare for me for free, then offered a used tire if I wanted to just replace that one. I pulled over and I think it was Brian the manager who came and talked to me. He was so nice and I really didnt want to have different tires, so I went in and he gave me a great price on 4 new tires with the road hazard warranty. I was out in 1 hr 15 min. There was a girl who changed my tires and was so nice when she finished and came and got me. Not bad at all for not having an appt and they were so busy. I listened to the manager talk to employees, and customers on the phone and he was so courteous and professional. Him and cody answered the phone with pep in there voice and took there time with each customer. I definitely will recommend this Discount Tire. Thank you for great service today.

The best place for tires and service. Had a tire pressure monitor go bad and it was replaced free because of their warrantee. Bought 7 sets of tires from Discount Tires and I am very pleased with all sets purchased!!

Everyone there was super nice

All employees were very friendly and I’ve had great experiences before, but today I came to get a tire changed because I ran over a nail. I purchased a brand new tire that they had and they assured me it would be put on while I waited. I left and about 15 minutes later I started to notice my tire pressure lowering again. Turns out they put on my same old tire AGAIN with the same nail in it. I paid for a brand new tire and didn’t even have it put on. Now I’ll have to go back and get it replaced again. Very disappointed in this trip.

Brought my car in on a donut, they gave me a used tire to use for less then 1 day till they got me a new tire in. They were great!!! Thanks yall

Big thank you to Justin and Ryan and all the folks at Discount Tire. Our car needed a tire plug to fix a nail puncture. Because the puncture was somewhat close to the tire edge, another shop would not even attempt the repair. So with 45 minutes left to their closing time, I called Discount Tire for a second opinion. They agreed to take the tire off to better inspect it and were able to successfully repair the tire in minutes. I’m completely blown away by their level of care when they could have easily turned me away like the other shop because they wanted to get off on time. They also offered the very best price I’ve ever seen on tire repairs. Would highly recommend them in the future and will call them first for my tire needs. Thanks again!

BEST CUSTOMER CARE!!!Great staff, Ryan & his team really went Above & Beyond to help me! Sent my whole family there & recommended it to my friends. I had an air suspension problem with an uncommon brand of car, and Ryan was concerned that the suspension may be damaged if they tried to jack up the car to mount the tires.He even called the manufacturer to see what they recommended. After the manufacturer said they couldnt jack it up as it was, we managed to get the suspension locked - about 15 minutes before closing.Rather than send me home to come back another day (when I might not be able to lock the suspension again!) he & his team stayed (very) late to put the tires on, taking extra precautions to be sure the air suspension stayed locked during the process. THEY WERE AMAZING!...Oh yeah, and I couldnt believe the great price as well!

I used to give Blacks all my new tire business which can be over $1000.00 annually. They used to do business with me but stopped using me . So I stopped using them. Discount tire is a much cleaner place to go & not full of a bunch of grochie old men . Its definitly more of a place ladies would be more comfortable at.

Been using Discount Tire for the past 15 years or so in several different states. This is the first and only location in Myrtle Beach. Definitely the best place for tires as far as Im concerned. Great service and the best tire warranty in the business.

Outstanding service. I had four new tires put on at an Atlanta, GA Discount Tire location. A TPMS sensor went off while traveling to Myrtle Beach for a work trip the next day. The employees at this location were fantastic and took care of the issue right away. There was no run around, they investigated the issue and concluded it was from the Atlanta, GA shop. They replaced the sensor quickly at no cost. Never expected this level of service when the problem was not their mistake to begin with. Would exclusively be back if I lived near this location.

They are absolute legends. They fixed my tire for free and there was literally no wait. This is how you do business and when I need tires I will be back.
