Had my truck painted 3 years ago which Maccos did a great job. Just recently had to go back in for a little repair and once again they did a great job everyone was very nice and very professional. I would recommend Maaco in Myrtle Beach to anyone.

Word of advice make sure you have someone competent to give you an estimate. They had me order a part I didnt need waiting 30 days for the appointment dropped the car off it sat for 2 weeks and no work was done to the car it sat out side covered in dirt and grass and it had a dent on the trunk that wasnt there before. When asked questions about what they were going to fix the car the employee got offended and told us they were no longer working on this car. I did everything I was told to do and I was treated like I was the idiot for ordering a part I didnt need and my car sat and leaked and when asked questions I was told to leave. Management stuck up for the incompetent employee, so much for customer service. I was mistreated and even worse so was my car! Took my car to a new garage immediately and the leak was fixed for 25.00 no part necessary and next stop a new paint job! Thanks Maaco for the rotten experience or I wouldnt have gotten my car properly fixed!

Outstanding paint at a great price... service was exactly as described and finished earlier than promised. Henry added something thats missing in a lot of businesses these days, and thats a friendly welcome to go along with a great product., delivered on time. This place is jam up! I took my toyota tundra In with roof and hood clear coat faded. Got the pleasure to work with Henry and boy was he jam up. They did a great job with my truck they knew from the get go that I was very detailed and like thingsto be perfect and they did that to a T! We had a small hick up with some paint that came off on the tape. Joe took over and had it fixed in no time and you cant even tell! Thats good customer service all day every day!! Thanks guys for all you did for me and I appreciate that you guys recognize us first responders! (few paint imperfections on hood and roof with 3 coin sized door dents from parking at my apartment complex.. everything was great. I like the price and expected scheduling … BUT to my disbelief American Express was not acceptable .. I ran out the door. Aside from not accepting Amex this place seems great.

2002 black Firebird Body Work came out good until Wing started to crack bubbles began forming after a week. brought it back to them to fix and I received it back with more scratches on the car than ever. And where they did touch up respray work looks horrible and its two different shades. Save your money and your time go somewhere else

Save your time.Joe is a slimeball and will scam you.Everything from cheap paint that bubbles and fish eyes. Dont bring your car back if its been painted and needs more work will scratch vehicle all to hell and paint will still bubble. Very unprofessional will never use another maco. Went in to get a paint estimate on a car for restoration. Estimate for best paint was about 2k all in. I went for it. Now Beware, the staff quoting you self admits they dont know how to refund money, but also doesnt let you know what method of payment they dont accept until after they have the job done and your keys. There is no collateral in the office to let you know they do not accept many payment options including some major credit cards which are acceptable anywhere else. (I should have asked, but most establishments let you know what is not acceptable including simple gas stations. Informing you after the fact was the most unprofessional dilemma Ive almost ever experienced, and really put everything in a jam. It really changed the dynamic of the entire experience. Also when called to pick up the car on the day scheduled (5 days later), I was told it hadnt even been attended to yet.. another week.. Having said that. The paint match was perfect; however, i discovered many fisheyes in the finish after a thorough inspection. I have yet to bring it to their attention as Im not sure I can deal with the front staff after how the end transaction occurred. I wasnt sure if the guy giving the estimates (Henry) was really inexperienced, or just played that way to get out of dealing with clients. Not kidding. It was kinda entertaining, but a shame nonetheless.. In final, most of the paint jobs i saw in their finish looked pretty good from a distance, and their rates arent that bad.. but I cant recommend after the unprofessional outcome of my experience. The owner should have his front staff better trained.. Not upset at the job, just the experience.

See Robert for over-the-top service. We took our car to several different auto mechanics & they could not properly fix our hood latch because the part was so hard to find due to the car being so old. Nobody even tried until Robert. He at least took a look, offered to try & tinker with the mechanism thinking it would be an easy adjustment. Well, a quick look with a couple tools turned into him bringing out bag of tools & crawling up under the car right there in the parking lot. He could of turned us away once the job started to look like mission, but he wouldnt stop until the hood would properly latch. When he was done, he started to get up & shake our hand without payment but we insisted to pay something & agreed on a reasonable cost. I was so impressed & grateful to not have to drive around with the hood tied to the grill always being afraid it would fly up at any moment. Thanks Robert.

Had a bit of work done to my 2006 Ford Mustang which in turn, needed a replacement front bumper in which I installed myself. I needed the bumper painted to match with the rest of the body so after obtaining multiple quotes from different auto collision shops, this Maaco in particular had the right price. The end results were great and was not disappointed. The whole crew was very respectful and helpful.I highly recommend this shop!

I had an old metal fig leaf pattern table with peeling paint. They made it look like new.Very pleased. 3 years ago, they painted my 15 year old truck. Looks great.

I came to this shop looking to get my fairings for my bike painted and they did such a good job. Everyone including the receptionist at the front desk was nice and helpful. Took my car back to Macao in Myrtle Beach paid to have a dent Taking out. With some of the dent is still there,he’s trying to tell me that the den is underneath the fender that I paid him to fix.don’t like confrontation he agreed to fix it but too much back-and-forth I’ll chalk it up as a loss

Maaco of Myrtle Beach just did an OUTSTANDING job of removing a gash in my classic 2-tone Mazda B2200 Pickup truck. They have a really clever device that matched the silver color perfectly. The gash was about 1/2 deep and a foot long - now I cant tell it was ever there. I highly recommend this shop.

Brought my brand new car up there to get a couple bumper dings fixed i was slightly nervous about having a portion of my bumper painted but it matched and blended perfectly i asked what to expect as far as quality and they told me the repair would be undetectable and it was!Great staff, got my car done faster than expected. My light green Volvo had the paint peeling off in sheets. Volvo said they only warranty the paint for a year and wanted $1600 to paint one side. Maco was much cheaper and the paint matched perfectly. I was thrilled with the results.

First time using them. Have not got my car back so we will see. I did see a black jaguar they restored for a man and it was Beautiful. Hope they will do the same with my bmw.

We visited this Maaco about two weeks ago with a drivers side door that would not open as the result of the driving of a careless neighbor. The employees on duty made two people very happy by fixing a problem right in their parking lot. We thought it would require leaving our car and shelling out a fair amount of money! They all could not have been nicer, and while we hope to never need them for a larger job, we will definitely use them if the issue arises.

This place has to be the worst paint repair shop I have ever been to. I took my wife’s Range Rover in to get a few panels repainted and the car came back in worse shape than when I dropped it off. It was very dirty from all the sanding and dust that was created and the paint on the rest of the car which was never supposed to be touched was scratched beyond belief. I am a professional detailer and I had gone over this car before I sent it in to get the work done so I know what condition it was in before. They will not own up to scratching the paint and getting overspray all over the car when they are only ones in possession of the car during this time. They argued with me saying that they did not touch the rest of the paint and they did not enflict the damage on the car. They refused to do anything for me expect to try and somehow fix it, how can I trust them if they already did this once and now they have a chance to do this again. The managers do not know what a polished and defect free paint looks like because when I was trying to explain it to them they acted like they couldn’t even see the scratches. This is going to take countless hours to repair and get back to its previous condition. Horrible service. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had by a shop. Spend your money elsewhere. Believe me on this one!

Our car was in Maaco to be fixed after the accident. They informed me they were unable to meet the expected time to be completed, Joe, the owner, approved and paid for me to get a rental car for the time duration that remained for the needed to be completed. They were also able to lower our deducible by $300. Then we were involved in a hit and run two days after they returned the car to us. Chris and Robert are in the process of mending our car AGAIN.! They are doing everything in their power to make sure our visit is pleasant and affordable. Thank you Joe, Chris, and Robert for all that did, and are doing, and will be doing for us in the future. We appreciate everything that you guys do for us.

Good job on painting my vehicle

Took my car after I was rear-end. Needed a new bumper and new tail light they said. A two day job turned into 10 days. They said because the ins co was dragging their feet because of a supplement payment. Finally I picked up my car. I walked around the car without fully inspecting it. Big mistake on my part. When I got home I did inspect it . There were tiny black dots all over the car. Above both tail light were gouge marks. The lower part of the bumper beside the license plate was so much paint it had rippled. I took my car back and Chris came out to look at it. He said he didn’t understand how he missed these things but said it was because I rushed him !!! Had to take my car back to have these problems fixed and then pick my car back up. All this caused at lot of aggravation and stress not to mention 3 extra round trips to Myrtle Beach from Conway... with a bridge out in Conway this is about 1 to 1&1/2 hour each way. I am still not happy with the work but I am through with this terrible shop and their sloppy work !
