The people in this shop are very pleasant, and helpful. I visit there when I am able and it is my first choice for some of my outdoor sporting needs. The location is in the opposite direction of my normal day to day travel, but when funds are available and I am looking to make a purchase, I go out of my way to visit Genies. The people there is why I return. I am not overly concerned about the status of their inventory, if they have what i am looking to purchase, great. If not, I dont consider the trip a waste of time, just a chance to see what else they may have.

The people working there are awesome, just really nice and helpful.

Dont take any coins there to sell or pawn. They are not fair they try to tell you theyre fake or they will give you less than melt value at current price for decent coins! Maybe other services are okay but will never use them! Just my experience

The staff at Genies was very friendly and extremely helpful during my firearm purchase. Brittany was helpful during my transfer ensuring that the seller received the FFL paperwork to facilitate the purchase and I was able ti fill out my paperwork ahead of time.

I had to sell stuff to settle an estate. The guys were very helpful honest and worked very hard to give me a fair deal.

I purchase a rifle on line from Gunbrokers.com which sold the gun from Genies. They misrepresented the condition of the rifle and it has defects. Being an experienced gun dealer they knew or reasonably should have known they were not accurately describing its condition. The bullet tube simply falls out and does not fit.

Great place very friendly staff .With ammo price’s right now the way they are, they are trying to be reasonable.

Definitely a pawn shop with those prices for ammo, wow. About fell over. Way way to expensive for me.

1. They answered the phone and were open when when we got there (unlike many other pawn shops) 2. Friendly 3. Knowledgeable about guns and laws. 4. Purchased a shot gun and would buy another gun from them in the future.

Awesome service Jim makes you feel like a long time friend. He is very fair and makes sure you get top price for your items. I dont like being negative but unfortunately one of his employees can make you feel very unwelcome she can be very short with customers.

Great prices. Owner was nice enough to say keep the receipt for some games in case they have any issues...he would make it right. Rare trait these days. :)

I have been to several pawn shops and this is by far the best shop I have EVER been to. I mean normally when u go to a pawn shop, to pawn something, lets face it, most likely u are hurting for money. The owner has worked with me on several occasions, recognozing my financial hardship, and even though he couldve made ALOT of money juatafiably from merchandise I have pawned and was well OVER the date that I had to get my stuff back, he still worked with me. I know its a business and in order to make money sometimes you have to make that decision but its deff more than just a business to these guys. #bestpawnshopinmichigan.
