Nick was great. Told me up front how much it would cost to replace the screen (less than what I thought it would, based on what I read online) and told me it would be ready a few hours later. Very pleased with their service and price.

Devin is incredibly disrespectful. You should never raise your tone at a customer. My tone never changed and he began to yell. I believe he should receive better training in how to interact with a customer. Or if he believes he cannot interact with customers correctly he should either not work there especially with customers or have another employee answer any questions. This also does not include the way he was dressed. He was very poorly dressed as he didn’t care how he looked or anything.

Friendly and courteous staff. Clean, well-kept lobby. John was personable and explained everything up front - I knew what to expect. They obviously did their job and attempted to sell me accessories with my repair (tempered glass for my new screen), but was not pushy at all and let it drop when I politely declined. I went into the store hoping to get my iPhone 6 screen replaced quick and that is exactly what they did for me. I paid for the express service for an extra $20 and it was complete within 20 minutes. Unfortunately I had too many failed log-ons so my phone was disabled for an hour, and in order to validate their warranty, they needed to keep the phone for another hour before I could get it back so the guy helping me, Terry, decided not to charge me for the express service. This was great considering it was my fault for locking it in the first place!The employees are very polite and super helpful. Im very thankful for their help and will definitely be taking my services to them again! Thanks!

Excellent service. The techs are very knowledgeable and they did an excellent job repairing my sons iPhone screen. Be sure to add a tempered glass shield to all of your devices. They put one on my sons phone and I was so impressed by how clear it is and how well it can take an impact I had them apply it to all of our devices.

Went in with a really messed up phone. They ordered the new parts and the had it done as fast as they could. It took a while. Worth the wait. Quality service and fair prices. 10/10.

These guys barely know how to fix a phone properly and now theyre trying to do overpriced computer repair? They messed up my phone and refused to fix it. The glass was separating from the case and dirt got inside of the screen. Do yourself a favor and bring your cell phones and computers to a small local business, not some overpriced chain store. Youll save money and get better/honest service.

My iPhone screen cracked, I googled and found Genius Phone Repair. They were able to get me in the same day and replaced the screen within 2 hours! Later that night unfortunately, I notice sections of the screen that werent working by touch. The next morning, I brought the phone back, they replaced it with no questions!I also purchased a Tempered Glass Shield, they gave me a discount on it and installed it. It had a bubble they couldnt get out so they put another new one on for no charge. Great service, very polite and helpful. Ill be back and will recommend this place.

Decided to get glass screen repaired instead of getting new phone over one month ago. Also bought standard screen protector apparently. Phone dropped accidentally and entire protector and new glass screen completely damaged. They do not per warranty do anything when purchasing standard screen. Cheap product to be able to break after dropped once with otter box cover. Wasted $140. Learned my lesson and will never go through outside company. Thanks.

Devan on Harvey street is really rude I took my dad phone there to get repaired they gave diffect phone screen then went back there yesterday and when they got the new part the devan charge me again and he was screaming at me and my daughter told me I need to pay for the phone when there fault so he call the other guy who I dealt with a told it was default they don’t guarantee there stuff there

Awesome work. I thought for sure my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge was done but no. With the new display, and battery, it looks and functions like new. All of my data was safe.

Pete is a great guy. Every time I have come in here he remembers my name and greets me with a friendly smile and helpful advice. Cell phone problems can be extremely frustrating and expensive. Now there isnt much they can do to help with the cost of the repairs, but he has always gone out of his to help in any way that he can. I would with a doubt recommend this place to anyone in need of their service. Pete is GREAT!!!

This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. My wife and I dropped my phone off on April 11 to get the charging port replaced. We were told it would be 3-5 days to order the part. A bit annoying, but we understood. My wife stopped by on April 19 because she hadn’t received a phone call that it was ready yet. Come to find out they had written her number down wrong. When they got that straightened out, she was told the phone wasn’t there. The manager, who was the one who was at the desk the first day, came out and said that the part they ordered was defective and that the repair technician had left for vacation. They had shipped my phone to a remote technician and hadn’t heard from her yet. My wife was told that they would get an update and call her the next day. This did not happen. On April 23 my wife stopped back again and was told that the technician had ordered the part on the 20th, but they had no other information. My wife informed them that I use my phone for work and she wasn’t very pleased. This evening, May 2, we decided to run some errands and go check on the phone again. My wife handed me the original receipt and I saw a spot to log on and check your status. I used her phone and it said that my phone was ready April 26. My wife had not received a phone call or any other attempt at communication. The manager at the store said ‘I called you, I wouldn’t put a note if I didn’t call’ He then said ‘you’d be surprised how many people say they don’t get a phone call’ If that is the case, he obviously knows there’s a problem and is a terrible manager to not fix it. He should let customers know they have problems, use emails, and let customers know they can check the status online. None of these were mentioned. There is a 30 day ‘abandonment’ policy, which I believe means that they should make more than one attempt to call someone. How many phones have they taken because the phone calls never went through? The only thing the manager offered was $10 off. He then said ‘you’ll need to charge it, we don’t have cords for android here’ How, may I ask, does he claim to have checked that the phone worked if he didn’t charge it and it had been completely dead for 2 days before we dropped it off? And how do they not have a cord for a massive market of popular phones with basic plugs? Logic and basic customer service seems to have escaped this manager and I will never go to any Genius Phone Repair again.TL;DRTook much longer than estimated and then had absolutely no communication even after they said they would (even failing to ensure they contacted me when they were done). The ONLY good thing is that my phone works now... finally... thats it.

I had a terrible experience at Genius. I bought a $300 iPhone and I asked the man working if it was used. He told me no all the phones were from stores like apple and they were overstocked thats why they were sent to genius. Well after a few days of having this brand new phone. I notice a lot of problems. My phone was getting very warm and the screen was popping off. I then went back to genius and the same man was working and he was extremely rude to me after I explained the situation. All I wanted to do was exchange my phone and he told me no. I would not recommend going here at all.

Went to Genius phone repair after the speakers on my iphone 4 stopped working because of some water damage. They were able to fix it just like new. The employees were great and very helpful. Definitely recommend!!!

I am 60 yrs old and just got my first smart phone a few months ago. For some reason (?) my phone would not accept or call out. Something about call forwarding was permanently on. I went to the Muskegon store and was told how to go on chat with AT&T and they would walk me through my problem. Ya right. Pete was the person helping me and he could obviously see the overwhelmed look on my face. He then spent the next FULL HOUR on chat with AT&T and solved the problem WITHOUT CHARGE! If you are not tech savvy - or even if you are - Pete was an angel sent to help you! He was absolutely AWESOME!

Genius warranty is a lie. I had them replace the screen on my LG G3. Three weeks later the the colors went out in some spots on my screen. I took it back to see if it was covered under warranty. I was told their was a hairline crack in the screen and it wasnt covered but they would discount another repair. I decided not to do another repair and went to Sprint to price new phones. Sprints service tech looked at my phone and said their were no cracks it was just a bad screen. Sprints price to replace was 25% lower then Geniuss discounted price. I was screwed by Genius and will never use Genius again.

My daughter brought her iPhone 6 there to have her cracked screen replaced. The new screen was fine for about 4 months then started to seperate from the phone. Contacted Genius about the issue and they wouldnt do anything about it but reiterate their 90 day warranty on parts and labor to me. Im very disappointed woth their customer service and will find a company that will stand behind their workmanship!

Terrible service. I needed my phone back replaced on my galaxy s8+ I called a couple weeks ahead to have the part ordered. I called a little over a week later and they didnt order it. Ok so they apologized and got one in for me. No big deal. I told them I need to set an appointment for 11 am Saturday because i have quite a drive to get there because I am not from the area. They said no problem they will have someone there to work on my phone. I get there at 1045 and they said well we dont have a tech in and it wouldnt be done until 4pm. The guy was very very vude. They didnt even call to warn me that no one would be there. Needless to say, I ended up going to genius in Grandville and they were AWESOME. had my phone fixed and got a discount and was out of there in 20 minutes. I would NEVER recommend anyone to go to this location.

Came for screen repair on my Iphone 7 and a virus removal on my laptop. They lost the laptop and I have since tracked it to another one of their customers and had to get the Sheriff to retrieve my item. ALWAYS WRITE DOWN YOUR SERIAL NUMBERS!

This place can get really busy at times..(as it is the only place of its kind in the area). I showed up right at 10am (when it opens) and there was already another person waiting for it to open also.I really like this place because when I had issues with my iPhone 4s (power button malfunction), I could drop it off and it would be ready in 2 hours - if I had done this at the Apple store, it would have taken 2 weeks, and I would have had to backup everything! (to me that is totally worth the $50!)They are also very honest. My friend thought she had a scratch on her camera lens for her brand new iPhone 4s. took it in to get a new camera lens/camera.... the guy looked at it, found a tiny piece of plastic over it and handed back.

On a family vacation and I dropped my iPad cracking the screen, came in to the store at 6:30pm on a holiday weekend looking for a miracle and that is what I got. These guys turned around my iPad repair in less then an hour and stayed a little late to get it to me before me and my family left town to continue our vacation.If you need a repair I highly recommend these guys because the prices are EXTREMELY reasonable and they were very professional and wouldnt even accept a tip for the great work.So if you are an idiot like me, stop in and have the boys at Genius phone repair take care of it!!!!

When I walked in there was a couple at one counter getting a phone(?) and couple of ladies at the other, guy on the computer and phone i guess helping the ladies. Another 2 people waiting ahead of me. I was in line 10 minutes never acknowledged, and whatever they were doing didnt seem to want to hurry it up or say it might be a bit. Gee where is the person who can handle just the little things. I just want to drop off, i would like to just get these headphones. NOOOOO have to stand there for who knows how long just to have my transactions take 2 seconds. I dont even know if I want to go back there for any repair work, or buy if its gonna be like that all the time..

The kindest, and more knowledgeable phone repair shop Ive found, I drive up to the Muskegon location from Grand Rapids because the service is spectacular.

I had an iPhone 5C screen fixed up, and with same-day service, and one otterbox case and tempered glass cover later, I got my baby back looking as good as ever!

Horrible experience! Working with Terry who was ordering a computer from another location. Drove to pick up because he said it would be in on Friday. After arriving found out it didnt make the truck and wont be in until Monday. Could not even call to tell me. Guy at the counter went in the back to talk to Terry who wouldnt come out to talk or apologise himself. Needless to say I wont buy from there now or ever.
