Allowing Gerber Collision & Glass on Apple Ave. in Muskegon Mi was the absolute worst decision I have ever made in my life.Lets start with the I believe his title according to him is shop manager Larry. He is a liability to you Gerber as this gentleman shared some of his thoughts and opinions with me that should have never left his mouth. The most unprofessional I have ever dealt with in my life.To the next thing I asked if they could do the body work and anything mechanical be taken to the BMW dealer at my request. The service tech agreed with this also so I agreed to have Gerber do the job. What a mistake this was. Not only did they take it to a third party for mechanical issues they made it worse then had to take it to BMW costing yet another week or repair time. I could go on and on but bottom line regardless of what you request this shop is going to do as they want without calling to notify you much less ask for approval.The car had zero gas in it 0 miles it was dirty inside and out and the employees were laughing about it.I would not take anything there nor recommend anyone else either

Was there at 10 this morning, called about 3:15 to see about the estimate for repairs. Was told it would might (might) possibly be ready on Monday.Walked into Ades Collision at about 10:50, and walked out with an estimate 30 minutes later.Oh, Gerber didnt have anyone else waiting, but Ades did. So why is it taking so long.Our insurance is who sent me to Gerbers. Guess Ill let them know.

Someone opened their car door into mine and put a big dent in the door. Dropped my car off to get fixed at Gerbers only to pick it up looking brand new and completely detailed! Professional, fast, and convenient. Thankful for my fresh new wheels.

Absolute perfection. I dropped our car off on a Friday morning and picked it up the following Thursday. The work done was fairly major and I did not expect it back so soon. I received a text every day with the progress, and the two people I dealt with in the office are great at what they do. The body work is perfect and I really appreciate they way they run their business.

Top notch, absolutely excellent service. One of the main bosses Russ, came around the desk to help me. Gave me a loaner for the night and enacted the repairs himself after showing me the scratches in my windshield were very minor. Couldnt have asked for better. Will be giving them all of my business and recommendations.

Kept me informed every step of the way. When something wasn’t going to be as expected they called and we went down there and they walked us through it all to ensure they were doing what we wanted. There was a small delay toward the end and it ended up taking a few days longer but they let me know right away! Honestly the communication piece was absolutely amazing and very much appreciated.

Very user friendly, working well with details from the insurance company. Easy scheduling and excellent communications.

I used Gerber Collision and Glass about 10 months ago due to a accident I was involved in where my vehicle was damaged they did an amazing job servicing my vehicle and even provided me a courtesy drop off to my destination.Very pleasant office staff and managers.

Took my car there to get my front windshield replaced. The Glass company there said the pillor trim pieces would need to be ordered before they replace the glass as they will break during windshield replacement . 1st time I went to drop car off I asked if they had the trim pieces and they had no idea what I was talking about even though someone from there office talked to me and said they would order the trim pieces . So I took the car home. Second time I dropped the car off Jason the manager told me they had everything and was good to do the repairs . I called and asked Jason a price for a battery while they had the car and he told me $120 for the battery. I asked specifically if there was any labor charges to install the battery and Jason said no we are good. I picked up the car almost a week later and was given a bill for $152 for the battery. Jason said they have to charge some labor to install the battery. I mentioned he told me no labor on the phone and he said no he didnt. So I paid for the labor to not ague with the guy. And then he tells me he never got the trim pieces for the car and they broke during windshield replacement and they repaired them and re installed them. Then the windshield was leaking alot of water into the car the next day after bringing the car home. And after driving the car for 1 day the trim they fixed re broke. Dropped the car off again so they could fix the water leak. Now Im going to bring the car elsewhere to finish the repairs and replace the trim as they were supposed to be replaced from day 1 as discussed from the start . Jason lied to me twice and is dishonest. My insurance company asked for my extra money back that they charged me for the battery and I have yet to get my $32 back. Very dishonest person to do business with.

Please return our items that you still have to our home address. We would never bring our car back here for ANY kind of repairs. This has been an ongoing situation since April. Wendy Flaherty said she would personally handle this. Im afraid our confidence in you & many of the Ford people, including other Ford dealerships as well has truly faded!

Took car in for repairs and they were professional and they did good work and helpfull

Brought car in for new front bumper.the bumper itself looks great. The problem is all of the scratches they didnt fix from the broken bumper rubbing the fender, the fact that they didnt blend the bumper AT ALL and it isnt placed correctly on the car. They also removed property from inside my car. They had no reason to be in my car other than to move it, yet stated my item must have gotten thrown away when they cleaned my car. Nobody asked them to clean my car,not to mention, the car wasnt cleaned. They offered to look at it but Im not sure I trust them any longer.

Communication and service we received there was top notch. Wont do business for body work anywhere else.

Dont bother going to this location, choose another body shop. I called Mike and asked if he would give me an estimate on my 2015 Lincoln MKZ that was being worked on RIGHT NEXT DOOR (attached) to Great Lakes Ford. They told me to have GLF bring the vehicle to them. REALLY?! You cant walk to the adjacent parking lot to give me an estimate for work?! They must not want my business. I have had work done here on 4 seperate occasions for different vehicles. The customer service and attitude has gone downhill. There are PLENTY of mom and pop auto body places in Muskegon, please give your business to one of them. Apparently Mike and Gerber dont care about customer service.
