Mike is a really good guy. My daughter found this shop as a back up if her repairs went haywire. Mike just told her to bring in her Mazda and he replaced her headlight units for a really fair price. I would like to say that Mike and his crew have always been a big help to me. First time i went there i was nervous because my late father always fixed my car, and the dealership charges an arm and a leg, so i needed to find an honest person. I found mike on google and after my first time there, he was honest about the issue. Mikes been a big help as well as the staff there always checking on me and updating me on my vehicle. What i could do to prevent things, Ive had my vehicle worked on a few times and i am glad he takes pride and honesty in what he does.

This place was super helpful. Id taken my car to another shop (California auto) and the lady I was dealing with was super rude and wouldnt give me a quote for my vehicle repairs. I got a referral from AAA for inland auto and they were amazing. They were super efficient and treated me like a customer not an inconvenience. I called to get some general information about repairing some wiring issues with my truck, and right off the bat received a very brash and short vibe from the gentleman that answered the phone. From point 1, I did not receive a friendly vibe. I did tell the gentleman That he was being short with me and that I would not be using theyre services because of that, and thanked him for his time. I am really sort of sad about that.

Exellect service, sorry for picking it up early, I just wish I would have received the codes and a rundown on the diagnosis ahead of time. Its hard to trust people in this business but Mike is really a good guy. Thanks again this place is great and Ill definitely be saving it in my phone 👍

Mike at Inland Auto did a great job working on our Lexus is250. They were able to fix a clicking sound in the rear and a very rough ride by replacing the rear struts. It now drives extremely smooth and I couldnt be happier with his service. They are much better than any shop Ive taken it to before. He had the car done in only one day. Im glad I was able to find an honest shop in the area.

Like a lot of folks I am skeptical of auto repair garages. When my Lexus needed brakes I called the dealer first to establish a benchmark. No surprises the costs seemed high. I did a Google search and identified three local garages with good reviews to contact. Honestly, I wasnt looking forward to the negotiations but knew it needed done.When I called Inland Auto I briefly spoke to Mike and felt his quote was competitive and he seemed professional. Still not 100% convinced I made an appointment for brake inspection only. I didnt want a bait and switch experience. Mike and his team quickly diagnosed my brake issue confirming the quote I received over the phone. In addition they had all the parts needed for this repair and was told they cold knock it out in about an hour. Mike suggested that we visit Inland Wharf (a brewery close by) which we did and appreciated the recommendation. We also walked over to 8-bit brewing. Within the hour Mike texted that my car was ready to be picked up.The Moment of Truth (is there going to be an upsell or a pressure sell?!) I was pleasantly surprised that not only were there none of these shenanigans but the bill was a few dollars below the quoted amount!All in all, if you are looking for an honest and dependable garage make sure to do your due diligence but make sure to give Mike and the team at Inland Auto a call. Going forward, my family and I consider Inland Auto our goto first stop.

I originally gave this place a great review because they were very friendly and I thought they took care of me. I found out a couple weeks later after my car started having more problems than it had when I took it in that they didnt really perform the diagnostic I paid $120 for. I went to Autozone and got a free diagnostic and there are all kinds of issues that have worsened since I left this place. Im so upset. Still looking for a reliable mechanic who wint have me pay $330 send me off with more problems.

So im editing this review because google doesnt allow me to post twice but 3 weeks ago Nov.2019 i had went in to get my car fixed, im always happy with the work they provide!. Mike is the owner and he reminds me alot like my dad, and always lets me know exactly what is wrong. And the staff always go above and beyond to help me. If i dont understand something they will explain. Ill literally have 2 of them come out and tell me about the problem and what i can do to have my car last. I appreciate the honest work they do and how fast they do it. Thank you again! Also this was my 4th time being there, and i always have a pleasure talking with them.

I took in one of my vans for a smog check, which I took in before, but I forgot that I just replaced the battery and it wasnt ready yet. Even though I know exactly what happens when you disconnect a battery before a smog check, He took the time to honestly explain to me the situation, when I brought it back, he tested it for me to make sure it was ready so I wouldnt waste more time and money. I also asked him to replace a handle for me and I was offered a very fair price. Even though one of the parts of the handles were missing, he still took the time to explain and actually showed me what was missing and how to fix it. Ive been a contractor for a long time and can spot a scammer a mile away, this is an honest shop with fair pricing. I will be taking all of our vans here from now on...thanks for the great service inland auto.

I had a great experience at Inland Auto. Mike Mattes took the time to take a test ride with me. He quickly identified the source of a vibration that the local dealership could not find. They fixed the problem for much less than I anticipated. On top of that they fixed another issue that had been a long time frustration and didnt charge me for it. Inland Auto did great work, charged a fair price and gave me a feeling of confidence that they were not trying to make a quick buck. They seem to be more interested in developing long term customer relationships based on trust. If you want to go to a shop there they take the time to explain things and give you a fair deal. First time in to get my brakes replaced on my Toyota Sequoia, everything was good. About a month later I returned for a fuse replacement & oil change. After working on my car, Mike was very harsh with me. He told me that they are not an oil changing place and I should take it to grease monkey or somewhere like that next time. Even though they have a sign on the front counter saying if you post a review, you will get a discount on your oil change. You dont want my money, fine, Ill take it somewhere else. After leaving, I noticed they left a dirty rag in my car

Called for a 10 minute repair (serpentine belt) because I dont have a tensioner tool. Not only did Mike want to charge me $100 for it (nearby auto repair shop quoted me at $40), but when I told him why so much for a 10 minute repair, he scoffed and said then why dont you do it yourself?Dont waste your money on this guy. Ill gladly take it to someone with a much nicer attitude, and cheaper prices.EDIT: Ended up looking on Youtube and bought the part and did the work myself. Nice Try, but I did not need a $50 lift to get the job done. Thanks for the advice.

First off I hardly make reviews even if the service is great, but boy does business exhibit customer service BEYOND great.Mike and Gabe specifically were EXTREMELY professional and easy to work with.Mike worked with my insurance company and was able to get a full engine swap in my vehicle (parts and labor ALL covered)This was the first car i bought with my own $$ and I love this car, when they ran the diagnostic and told me how my engine grenaded (bullet sized holes blown through the engine, connecting rods being jammed through the pistons) I almost teared up at the thought of having to can the vehicleIf their excellent customer service wasnt enough, they somehow managed to get the new engine delivered, replaced, and had my car up and ready to drive all within less than 5 days. My car now runs better than when I first got it, we all have our horror stories about scheming mechanics and shady business, but not these guys.This business radiates honesty and integrity from Mike (who i believe is the owner) and specifically Gabe (who even stayed 30mins past closing just to wait for me so I could pick my car up because I had been caught in traffic) and the expertise of the mechanics who quickly and concisely handled my Vehicle.Anyone reading this review MUST stop by, Inland Auto is top notch in the area and have earned my business for the rest of my days in Temecula.Great Job guys, keep up the good work, if i could leave 6/5 stars I would.Thank you.
