Good MorningThe Urban area have some of the rudest customers,they giggles and play around with their co workers,The food gets a 4 stars when working at the deli dept.Every employees should know the menu memorized so they dont have to argue with the customers,holding up the lines,its bad enough grocery stores nowadays are a million packed,know your section,hire the right peopleSuburban area are more prepared to deal with the menu. The parking lots have trees in front,nice shade,store less crowded,salad bars are always packed...Stop flexing out your employees their bad habit are tainting the nice wealthy area.Some of the employees seems to be extremely high or something is wrong find out.Thank You

I drive past two formal Sushi restaurants to come get the lunch-time sushi made by the Itamae Moon. A couple of times I have shown up while she is restocking and I can tell from the way she looks over everything that she takes great pride and satisfaction in her job. Her professionalism and customer service when I have interacted with her have also been top-notch!I also really appreciate the staff that work in the Starbucks here. They are courteous and always make my drink quickly and perfectly every time, regardless of who is working.

NIce staff. Generally smaller than other Safeway branches in the area but most food stuff are available anyway. Affordable sushi choices compared to other markets.

The Safeway is smaller than most in the surrounding area. Which has its pros and cons. They dont have quite the same inventory as the larger stores but I find it easier to pop in and out when I just want to pick up a few items. Sometimes, you experience a longer wait during checkout because they do not have a lot of checkers. Starbucks is okay. Again,if you just looking get in and out this is a really good store.

Bought two beef tenderloins/filet mignon, grass fed, for $17.99. They were delicious - flavorful & tender, along with baked russetts with butter, sour cream and chives, and roast asparaugus with sliced garlic. All from Safeway, at reasonable prices, and great service (especially from the in-house butcher)

It is huge and well organized store with wide assortment.The staff is nice and helpful.Signs are meaningful and help to find what you need.The parking is pretty big so you would always find a place.It also has Starbucks inside so you could enjoy your coffee while shopping.

A great local grocery store. Kind and patient pharmacy staff, generous opening hours, good selection, and helpful customer service.

Some of the aisles are one way but the labeling isnt particularly easy to navigate. Seems to be and equal opportunity and employer. Helpful staff. The sales for members can be quite good, I would recommend becoming a member because it does not cost anything but it makes this a reasonably priced place to shop if you keep up with the available offers.

Good sized Safeway at this location. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly and they are quite quick to respond to growing lineups with adding more cashiers to the checkout lines. Parking is ample and it is pretty easy to get in and out of this Bailey Plaza mall. There is a Starbucks kiosk inside this location if that is the coffee you crave .

Friendly customer service, conveniently located, minimal wait in line, self-check outs available, in store; bakery, Starbucks and a Wells Fargo Atm 🏧 available to process transactions, highly recommended

By far the worst grocery store om Earth! The lines are always long no matter how many or how few shoppers there are. They continue closing down registers to ensure every register has at least 10 people in line, and they send their employees to the back to work on other stuff. I live 1 block from this Safeway but usually drive 10 min to go somewhere else and come back faster. Tonight I decided to stop there for 1 item only to return empty handed when I saw the lines. Shame! They need to close down so a more decent grocery store could open in their place.

Its one of 3 safeways in mountain view now. This was the first overall, and Ive been shopping here for 2 decades. Very convenient with friendly staff.

Bit overpriced but normal prices for the area. If you use coupons you can really save a lot of money. The store is clean and everyone there is always very kind. Highly recommend it.

I like it cause its close by & Im usually greeted with a friendly hello upon entering the store. The staff is helpful and friendly. But the downside is a lot of the times I go and the sale items are out of stock. But overall its a good grocery store to shop at.

Two checkers with lines halfway up the aisles. I had to put my items back and leave. I hope they reevaluate their labor staffing. The store was clean and neatly stocked though.

Flantastico all the hispanic staff deserve a raise, they were very attentive to helping me find groceries like secretly hidden prepackaged bell peppers, low sodium tajin & even hydrogen peroxide, by far one of my most pleasant experiences at a safeway

The most stressful safeway Ive been in during the pandemic. Small spaces with no room for social distancing. No attempt at distancing by the employees. No spacing out of open checkout lines to reduce congestions.

Great spot to get what you need. Has a Starbucks in it too! Plenty of parking. You can grab a quick lunch from the hot foods area and there is a bakery for to satisfy your sweet tooth. My go too for groceries. The staff is nice and accommodating too.

Good location and fairly spacious aisles. They rarely have the sale items in stock on Friday specials and on the weekend. Its basically bait and switch most of the time.

This Safeway doesnt monitor the amount of people inside and stupidly locks the doors near the Starbucks which would increase fresh airflow and reduce store traffic.

The best place to shop! Everything is always fresh!

I bought a coconut topped cake and was yummy. Good organic vegetables are there. Bit pricey. But if you have their card then the price will be ok. Expect a big queue on peak hours especially on weekends. A small to go restaurant is inside. You may get fully cooked chicken there.

This is a smaller store. They do like to move stuff around, apparently to get us to walk through the store more. And during these covid times, they seem to have runs on products that make no sense (but then, what does... )

Decent neighborhood grocery store

You can get almost everything from here. And the open hour is fantastic.Only thing is a little lack of Chinese special things that sometimes I still need go to 99 Ranch for another shopping.

We decided to go to this Safeway along with the in-laws and it was one of the best decisions we ever made. As a family, we had great fun and my father in law especially enjoyed his time here. The place is packed with lots of fun aisles for all age groups and the little ones had a blast too.I definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great way to spend a fun evening with the entire family.I only give 4 stars as I think a photo booth would be a great addition and will enhance the experience.Cant wait to go back !!!

Im not sure why, but the French Bread here is really good. Everything else is the same like any other Safeway...but that bread.

This Safeway is getting better and better - more produce, more diverse produce, more colorful produce, artisan goat dairy - a delight for a newly minted vegetarian like me. The clerks are very friendly and since I am a regular, we exchange a hello and a smile during each visit. The self checkout lines allow the store to get you out faster. The COVID response has been professionally orchestrated and the store is now open from 5AM to 11PM, allowing people who work from home during business hours to do their shopping before or after work.

Its a good store well run and professionally managed and staffed and the staff are very helpful and friendly and professional especially during this COVID-19 health and safety crisis. Its a clean store and well stocked and efficient and I enjoy going there to shop for groceries and the fellow shoppers can be very friendly and positive as well. Its in a good location next to local schools and bedroom communities and also close to Google Headquarters, downtown Mountain View, and many other local businesses. During this COVID-19 international health crisis I am grateful that I and others members of society are able to shop safely at this local grocery store.

Do not come here anytime after 8:00 p.m. when the self checkout is closed, the lines are hours long.

Bought some quick stuff.

Lots of options and friendly staff. But they keep one section entirely locked and you need to get customer service desk to come over and open it up for you. Did not understand the reason for locking and making customers go through the entire loop.

Wells Fargo ATM is a lifesaver!

Fresh French bread and nice assortment of fresh meat are my favorite reasons to visit!

Clean and well kept. Beef selection seems limited but otherwise everything is fine.

Friendly service, designated cleaning staff, directional arrows on the floor, & fast even with all the extra precautions. Great prices & serveral hard to get items were in stock with allowance limits.

It is close to my house. Kinda dumpy outside but it has everything I need. There is usually no one in line at self checkout so I am in and out quick.

The slowest starbucks barista I’ve ever seen. I’m a Starbucks barista and had to stop by before a trip here. She moved extremely slowly when there was a long line. I understand not letting the rush get to you but she didn’t pick up the pace at all. Please learn how to do your job in an efficient manner

This is my almost daily Supermarket. I love that they have self check-out lanes! Great selection of products. Plenty of parking available. Nothing to complain about.

This a well stocked, easy to find grocery store in Mountain View, California. The produce aisles are amazing in variety and well stocked. The remaining aisles are clean and well marked. Shopping in this store was a real pleasure.

More often than not, I cant find the item Im looking for due to their much reduced selection, and when I do, Im standing in a long line to get out of there. Theres no self check-out, which is really annoying since Im usually just stopping for one or two items on my way to/from work. The Safeway on San Antonio is much better.I dont understand why Mountain View has three Safeway stores in such a small area but theyre so far apart in N. San Jose.

Less immigrant friendly than other Safeways. Bagging girl probably thinks she is too pretty and has attitude. Cashier was more concentrated in helping female customers. Need training to be impartial.

Front end Manager refused to give me his name! Mgr blatantly lied, cashier blatantly lied! Their new cashiers are improperly trained and they are all arrogant and refuse to accept responsibility for their errors! Furthermore they always have technical issues so they saywhen it comes to WIC or cashier error because like I said, they refuse to admit when they err! The front end mgr (today)is ultimately responsible for the training (each new cashier apologizes, but still lie) because the mgmt supports their poor training by excusing it! No wonder we have to go too Albertsons, at least we get better customer service!

This Safeway is a little small and no longer quite fit to purpose but for the heroic effort of their above average staff. Easily the best shopping experience for 20 minutes in any direction. 24 hours, especially good late at night.

Employees are always very friendly and helpful.

Waited in line for about 10-15 minutes. When I finally got to the register they closed and told me to go wait in the other line which was considerably longer than the one I waited it originally. One register open on a Sunday? Trash management.

The lines are often long, but the staff that does work there truly goes above and beyond. The manager not only helped me get a patio table down but also helped me transport it to my house a few blocks away. This was incredibly helpful to me and went way above and beyond (the safeway is extremely busy, as others have noted).

Currently this Safeway is out of nearly everything but products for pets. Normally theyre a great store.

I stopped going to this Safeway a few years ago because of the excessively long check out lines. Ive gone back a few times recently and it has improved. Self checkout helps but for the most part Ive switched to Prime Now or the newer Safeway on Rengstorff Ave for the bulk of my shopping.

You would think there wouldnt be long lines early in the morning. You would be wrong.This store has reliably long lines, especially 3pm-10pm M-F and all weekend long. Theyve gotten better about adding more cashiers when the lines grow, and the wait isnt usually more than 10 minutes, but its still enough of a frustration that I choose another grocer.Otherwise, its a great Safeway store like any other: clean, organized, friendly, usually well stocked.

I shop at Safeway stores almost exclusively for my groceries. There are 3 or 4 that I use within a 15 mile radius, depending on where else I need to be. This particular store is one of the better ones. Plenty of parking, no matter what day it is, great Deli and Bakery, and a good selection of everything you would think of at a grocery store. Prices are mid-range for the area. Never more than 2 or 3 people waiting to be checked out, and there are 4 self checkout machines. There is also a full Starbucks store right inside one of the entrances.

Well, there is always a step child, probably this store is the step child of Safeway Corp.

As youre supposed to be respected with friendliness and a smile,and courtesy and anticipation am I right? Well I would look out for a couple of certain employees whove got this weird,evil look of I want you to die look of an expression on their faces; I mean geez all I am saying is just please stay the hell away from this god awful of an ugly place because for starters lines are way way long stretching for miles and miles and last but not least very shady and corrupt company, building should be demolished because it keeps and keeps getting worse should be in last place,still dont know why all U good folks keep coming back and shopping; here get a fresh start because these people, they dont take your questions or concerns seriously they simply just dont care about You all they care is about being so selfish me, me, me, me & these:$$$$$$; hey youve been warned!!👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Edit: Theyve done a good job keeping the lines open and the store clean and orderly. Checkout still takes longer than Id like, but its more like 10m now. Fresh vegetables are still over-priced.Extremely under-staffed. Regardless of time-of-day, you wont spend less than 20 minutes waiting at the checkout line. Vegetables and fruit are over-priced. Most other things are fair. Id rather go to either Milk Pail or Sprouts at the San Antonio shopping center.
