Decently large CVS. Very clean store, with friendly staff. Street parking is hit or miss but the CVS is connected to a parking garage. There is a pharmacy at this location in the rear of the store with a very pleasant pharmacist. This location also is a covid vaccination site with appointment.
Good pharmacy and store service
This is a review for this location but also CVS, in general. Here’s what happened. My cat was prescribed 2 types of eye drops. I checked online and saw that one of them is $7.99 and the other $9.99 (this was the price at Walmart pharmacy as well as a few other pharmacies). I decided to pick them up from CVS instead, so we can start the medication ASAP.1. They took forever to prepare 2 prepackaged containers (6 hours and the pharmacy was empty!)2. I was busy so I asked someone to pick them up. They got overcharged ... by $100!3. I couldn’t return the unopened medicine since they were prescription drugs.Ask for the price before buying anything from CVS! They will happily charge you 5x otherwise :)

My experience at CVS was not a good one I went there to pick up photos..the lady didnt speak English ...she was looking around as if she was lost...I kept informing her I had photos here ...then she got on her cell phone as she was going to call someone..????? I still was stating my photos are here with copy of my order number...then thats when she started to go through the box of photos which my phots were there... again I say I was being racially profile ....
CVS is a good (HALAL) store, I have been here a couple of times and theyve helped me all the times because I require more help and casual humans (mashallah to normal people) Anyway thank you for being here for me #dababy #cvs LETS GOO!
I had a really bad customer service, really rude ( except 1 lady), I will avoid this store at all costs in the future.
So aside from what other reviewers have pointed out (dirty store, aisles that are half-stocked), they were very long in filling a prescription. After a couple of days, I called and was told they needed to order more of it and would text me. A WEEK LATER I called back to ask what the issue was, and they didnt know why it hadnt been filled, and offered to fill it for the next day.Listen, I took pharm tech classes as a teenager, and it doesnt take two weeks to count out sixty pills. Counting ordering, PharmD approval, etc, preparing a prescription is a five minute procedure.
I had an awful experience about online photo order pick up.My photo prints were ordered in the early morning, I got an email confirmation in the early afternoon says my order is ready to pick up. I went to the store in 6pm, was told by cashier to come back in the next day because I ordered today. The cashier said she did not find any photos under my name in the pick up area. I was confused since these photos are same-day pick up orders. And I have tried this service in other locations several times in the past years, never met this situation.After she insisted me coming back in the next day for several times, she made a call to let someone else help me. A man in a red cvs vest showed up. Before I said anything, he asked Photos? Then he immediately found my photos in the slots of the printing machine.Cvs photo has developed a great system to meet peoples needs, however their stuff are not adapting to it. If you have similar situation like mine, got rejected at the cashier to pick up your online prints even you have the confirmation email. Try looking up in the slots of their Kodak kiosk machine, it is located at entrance of California st cross Bryant st. Your photos will come with the QR number, you just bring them to the cashier to pay. Be gentle since there may be other peoples photos in the slot too.
Worst CVS ever. Do not use here if you have an urgent prescription, they intentionally give your prescription late to make your symptoms worse not being treated in timely manner. AVOID here.
The whole store has just one employee and no one know how and where to get help. So if you know where to go and what to get then go ahead and do shopping else stay away from this place.I would have given negative five stars of possible.
Slow pharmacy, poor staffing at the general register. All around, seems badly run. There are better options in the area nearby
This store is really dirty and shelves are half empty. Even OTC stock is low. Two bathrooms - one was Out of Order and the other was FILTHY with deep, long standing dirt. It’s a disgusting, poorly kept store. Even the windows are very dirty. Awful
A few of the pharmacy staff have been friendly and helpful, but every single time Ive sent a prescription there theyve had issues. The final straw was this past week trying to get a medication that is time-sensitive. I planned ahead so when they said on Friday that they didnt have it, but could have it Tuesday or Wednesday and would notify me when its ready, I said fine. On Thursday I called to follow up and they informed me that actually, there was a problem with my insurance. This wouldnt be a big deal, its an easy fix, but since they never notified me, now its too late (and btw, they still dont actually have it in stock). Finding a new pharmacy.
There is a guy who runs the pharmacy day shift who earned 5-stars. The woman who consistently delays refills in the afternoon or morning shift earns 1-star.
I never experienced worst service ever this place. I went to pick up some medicine for myself. There was Indian women staff at the pharmacy who treat me worst. I was there 20 minutes before they closed. She said you are new patient i have lot to do we are closing soon. You can’t have medication today. I can’t do anything i just cry and go because of pain. Couple days ago i tried to grab some drinks and snack with my baby there were no useful cards that my baby can sit and shop. Most of the cards broken or very dirty. This pharmacy i would never recommend to anyone.
AVOID GOING THERE! its in downtown MTV and would take you ~15 mins to find a parking lot even at normal business days, so NOT WORTH! There are bunch of other cvs nearby, good to try them (at least an easy parking).
Conveniently located adjacent to a parking garage in downtown Mountain View. Clean, well-organized. Friendly staff. Everything you need including a great selection of greeting cards and WINE! (A surprise to those from the east coast).

Not very helpful people at pharmacy. I went to Walgreens and they were much nicer. They even asked if I have questions about the medicine, and greeted me well.
This pharmacy is always behind on filling or refilling prescriptions. A week or more claiming they dont receive the orders electronically.
Im writing this as Im on hold after talking to a pharmacist, who I had to wait on hold to talk to in the first place, on a phone call Im not sure why I have to make but its been a week since they were supposedly filling my prescription. Ive also had trouble using GoodRX with them. I normally use the Safeway on Shoreline but I have to use CVS because Safeway would cost $100s more per year.
Customer experience is hit & miss. Almost always takes way too long to check out. The CVS coupon system is cumbersome. Who wants a 2 foot long receipt you need to look over & bring back in to redeem a discount on designated items?

This CVS is great, big and well stocked. Awesome location and great parking spots. Farmacy staff is really helpful and they explain in great detail everytime you need them. Its my go-to pharmacy in town.

I found the pharmacist assistant incompetent. I asked for the price of my prescription with insurance - which she had on file. She couldnt or didnt know how to look this up and stated she needed the pharmacist to help with this simple request.This is the ONLY pharmacy I have ever been to where they couldnt tell me the cost prior to me deciding to fill the RX.
Pharmacy is fine. The problem I see is the cashiers attitude. They have 0 since of urgency. When I was last there.. literally 1 customer ahead of me and it took 2 cashiers 15 mins to get to me. Once I was approaching the check stand, young lady was rude, and unapologetic. No sry, no thank you, no nothing
I dont have the store number. However the date of store visit is Feb 05,2017 around 6pm. The manager name Bob he belongs to Management Team Member at CVS on 850 California St Mountain View CA 94041 is very helpful in return a complicated transaction that I bought on an online store. He is patiently scanned individually 72 items and use his professional judgement in resolve the complicated issue. The corporate people was unable to instruct him to return the items. They gave him another number and from there he patiently entered each items and help me with the transaction. I personally want to say thank you to him as his patiently and helpful on this transaction. He is a great value that CVS have.
Price is good if its on sale, I never buy at regular price.

I will avoid this CVS pharmacy at all costs. The customer service was horrible. The behavior is unexceptable for a staff who is responsible for the wellness of others.I hope potential customers see this and choose to go to another location rather than taking the risk of not having their medication when needed.Experience:I called ahead of time (as early as 11am) to receive a refill on my prescription, and was informed they did not have the exact medicine and proceeded to ask if they could give me a similar one. I approved and the female asked when I would like to pick it up (I knew they would need some time so I just asked when it would be ready), she said that it would be ready at 1. I arrived around 1:45 and the assistant told me the head pharmacist on duty was working on it but she decided to go to lunch instead of finishing her work.
Consistently the worst service of any pharmacy I have ever used. Very slow processing of transactions. Unable to fix duplications of my records in their database and deletion of old dosages. They have said theyll call the doctor to renew and have not.

I am very unhappy with this CVS pharmacy as it wasted my time twice.The pharmacist got my insurance information wrong, and found it out only after she spent 10 minutes in filling my prescription, and then refused to redo it again because they are closing. The clerk then referred me to another CVS 3 miles away.To make things worse, she forgot to return my insurance card. Later she called me and promised to mail me the insurance card, which she never did. Two weeks later, I called CVS and another clerk found my card. He refused to mail me the insurance card and asked me to stop by instead.When I finally made it to this CVS store today, nobody there have any idea where the card would be. They didnt offer me any procedure to resolve this problem, and only asked me again to call the head pharmacist tomorrow.
Consistently poor customer service when filing orders. Three times they have told me that my prescription was ready to find out it was not or taken back which really means they voluntarily took back the prescription only to refill it when I show up but always takes either 15 minutes to 4 hours. The recent visit they called and I told them I was on vacation and I will be there to pick it up in a range of three days and still show up and order was not ready. I would avoid this Pharmacy like the plague.
