Very rude, after telling me to bring in my vehicle at 8, the made me and another lady wait 5 minutes because they were in a meeting. After 20 minutes we asked for information and they replied annoyed that they were still in a meeting. We both left. Do not recommend.

The mechanic that helped me out was Manny. Awesome guy and super helpful and humble. Answered all my questions and gave me accurate price estimates that he respected. He quickly diagnosed the noise in my car in under 5 minutes and got things fixed in less than 2 hours. I would definitely go back again in the future.They also provided me with a ride back home since I left my car there, so +1 to that.

These people are very kind knowledgeable and always do the right thing. They started work on our SUV and I discovered that the condition was covered under warranty. They were very professional put the car back together so I could take it to the dealership and we paid them for the diagnostic service which was very reasonable in price as well. Hard-working family business. Even though their name says radiator they do a whole heck of a lot more than that. Please go see them if you have a problem with your car they’ll fix it At an honest price.

This is the best service Ive ever received at a car shop. Manny is super friendly and let me pull up a chair to watch him change my oil and just talk about life. Hes a really good guy with a good heart. He didnt charge me for the oil filter when I brought the wrong one in! His dog Oso is a really cute and tame German Shepard though hell probably bark at you when you first come in. Thanks for the awesome service and Ill most definitely be back!

I went to Manny on numerous occasions and there is no one in the Bay area I trust more with my vehicle. He is honest and does everything in his power to build a long-lasting customer. If its not fixed the first time around, he will make it right. He is easily the best car mechanic I have ever had and took care of both of our vehicles. Not to mention, Oso might be the best part of the whole trip, so make sure to kick his ball for him.

Overpriced. After picking up my car, randomly the left signal wasn’t working. Called them and they said it could’ve been me driving over a rock that caused it. Really? This wasn’t happening before I dropped off my car, never has it ever not worked and i only discovered it not working AFTER I picked up my car. Anyway, I had to pay them to get it fixed bc it was becoming dangerous not having a left signal on top of several services I paid them for...so it costed a pretty penny. My husband and I have gone to them a few times bc it was close to our jobs but they’re just tooooo overpriced and not worth it. If anyone has recommendations for better places, let me know!

I was referred to Mountain View Radiator and I called before arriving. I spoke to a friendly woman named Penny and she immediately scheduled me in.When I got to MVR I was welcomed by Oso(the dog)🥰🥰. The office was a little hard to find, just walk in the open door, then walk down the hallway to the back. Follow the sign :) Manny made everything easy and quickly took my information. I left my car there.Manny called and confirmed the diagnosis of my car issues. He was transparent and didnt try to force me into purchasing anything more than I went there for. He mentioned a couple things I might want to check during my next oil change, all of them made sense because of how old my car is and how many miles I had on it. Of course I had Googled everything before his call, expecting I might be ripped off. I was thankfully very wrong. It was an easy experience and the cost was in line with what I had researched.I saw on their website that they would drop the car off to you. Im sure this depends on how far you live. Thankfully, I live close. Manny called when the work was done and I asked if they could drop off the car. He was very nice and quickly set everything up. My car was delivered hot off the tow truck in less than 30 mins, by an awesome driver named William.I still cant believe how easy everything was. Ill definitely be going back for any future auto services or repairs. They deserve 5 stars and then some.

I went in to another mechanic today and was told my serpentine belts needed to be tightened up. I was quoted $175 for an hour of labor just to tighten them, not even replace them. I decided to get a second quote and called this place up. Bill told me to bring it in (no appt) and one of his mechanics tightened up both my belts within 10 min. He didn’t even charge me for it!! Unbelievably honest and professional!! Will only be going to this place and telling everyone else to go here!!

Manny and the rest of the service staff are the best! They are helpful, communicative, and overall splendid people to work with. They quickly assessed the issue with my car, gave me a call even sooner than I expected and got the car fixed and ready for pick up the very next day. They offered bagels and coffee while I was signing paperwork and drove me to work and picked me up to get my car for no extra charge. Its hard to find a quality mechanic you can trust with your car and your money, but Mountain View Radiator has earned my return business!

Just got my oil change and the mechanics were all very nice and friendly. There was also a very sweet German Shepard who likes to play ball with you. I had an appointment for 4:00 and they were right on time. Definitely 5 stars!

Heads up to any other females that know literally anything about cars and are considering taking their business here. This is that bad stereotype shop that sees a (naive looking) woman come in and immediately tries to rip them off. Two stars because I like their dog. I would highly recommend Automotive Unlimited instead-- Fred is a wonderful, honest person that I go to most of the time and he does a phenomenal job for a fair price

See other reviews here for a pattern of calling on the phone after agreeing to a price and raising the price (in my case, $280 rasied to $450) lengthening the time to finish, and then being rude and laughing at me when I told them that I was confused and I thought it would be done sooner.Call other shops for yourself, you will see that the turn-around time and price is extremely high here. I was charged money for labor and the job wasnt complete, I had to bring it elsewhere.I regret not doing that, it would have saved me $150.They are nice enough but their dog on-site is a 120 lb German Shepard who growled at me and looked very aggressive and not used to people. You will see his photo in another review.I had a very bad experience even though the staff are nice over the phone.

We were from out of town and we were towed to the shop in the middle of the night. But first thing in the morning Manny looked at the car callef us with his diagnosis and we were back on the road by 10:30 am. Very professional and courteous. Recommend highly.

Only reason I’m giving 2 stars cuz he was nice but if you’re from outta town don’t come here. I explained our issue and he quoted us 600$+ for an overheating issue because he knew we were desperate. Ended up making it to American radiator and the guy found the problem in 30 seconds and got us in quickly for 200 dollars. Don’t go here if you don’t know a lot about cars and are from outta town cuz they will try to upcharge you.

Needed to tow my motorcycle(a really heavy touring bike) from my home to a dealer. I got quotes from a few places around the area and they had the lowest quote. I got an appointment for the next day, they arrived on time and got the job done. Friendly staff, smooth service, no complains.

Given high rate and my oil changer recommendation, I went there for water leaking from my car. The technician examined and gave an estimate which I agreed. Later he called me at work and mentioned my engine has some problem too but he need to investigate further and it cost me more 160 for investigation. Again I agreed and he again later called me and said an estimation which was very high. So I said I prefer to stop working on car. But he mentioned that I already start working on the leakage problem and you need to pay for that as well for investigation. For a professional work I did not expect such behavior of doing anything before giving full estimation.

Very incompetent and overpriced. I asked them to fix my trunk, stereo, and the key fob. They didnt fully fix the trunk, they said my stereo needs replacement even though the problem was with the power wire (I had to do the diagnostic myself), and they wanted to replace the entire alarm system when it was not broken. They charged me $320.

We have been taking our cars to MV Radiator for the past 5 years for everything. They are a family owned business and are honest and courteous.

I went today because I didnt pass smog test and I would not pay more than $200 on my car diagnostic and they told me they would charge me $270 for the diagnostic and 600$ for repairs and I immediately said ohh well thanks for your time 🙃I founded a better auto repair more friendly and not overpriced that has better reviews than here

This shop is awesome! A few years ago, when I was unemployed, my car wasnt passing smog, and it looked like I was going to need a $500 repair. Being hard up for cash, I consulted with a friend who referred me to this business, telling me to let them know I had heard good things about them from him. When I shared my story, they quoted me $300 for the same job Id been told would be $500 (at a shop that had charged me $125 just to run the test to confirm what I already suspected). But thats not the best part. Before replacing the catalytic converter I had been told needed to be replaced, the mechanic at this shop took the initiative to preheat the car, and run the smog on their machine, to be sure the repair was actually necessary. And then when I came to pick the car up, I was told not only did my car pass smog, but they wouldnt even accept the $10 that it cost them to submit the report to the DMV! I will be forever grateful to them!

My car needed an oil change. I simply drove in. They took care of it within 1 hour. Very friendly and knowledgable crew. The waiting room was relatively modest. Dont expect a fancy car dealer waiting room. There is cable TV (HD) and decent Keurig coffee. There is also xfinitywifi access (free wifi if you are an Xfinity customer).

Knowledgeable staff. Repairs were done by the end of the day.
