What a pleasure it was to take my car for service to Subaru of Morristown recently. They efficiently diagnosed current problems and corrected mistakes made by other service repair locations. I commend Victoria, the service consultant who was extremely helpful, and the mechanics who worked on my car. Everything was thoroughly explained with an accurate price quote and a loaner car on relatively short notice. These people are top notch!
We cannot say enough about my experience at Subaru of Morristown and Chris Sullivan.This was likely the best car buying experience we have had. Having gone to 10 dealerships over a 2 day period, Subaru of Morristown was the last stop (mind you 40 minutes before closing). We were not even considering a Subaru, but we were pleased with the vehicle and its features. THE PRICES OF CARS RIGHT NOW (NEW & USED) IS INSANE. Nonetheless, we were pleased with the price and decided to purchase the car. Chris was phenomenal, very knowledgeable, patient and professional. Went into this dealership after a few weeks of looking to purchase or lease a vehicle at various dealerships/various car brands. Left that day with signing a lease! Victoria in the service department was terrific from the moment that I first called until the moment I came back to pick up my car after it had been serviced. She was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, and professional, and she did a great job of explaining everything and keeping me updated on the status of my car. I went to Subaru in October 20020 (during the Pandemic) in search of a new Forester. Apparently, their cars are quite popular and they didnt even have any new Foresters in stock so I ended up driving a new Outback. I liked it but wasnt sure whether that was the car for me or not. The manager felt that I really NEEDED that test drive in a Forester so he managed somehow to get me in one (not for sale) anyway and by doing so, I discovered that the little Outback was the car for me! I ended up buying the one I test drove (2021) and have been in love with it ever since. The service department is wonderful and after upgrading the sound system (the ONLY thing lacking in my opinion), it is my new little SAFE, beautiful, ECONOMICAL darling. Everyone there is charming and friendly.
Subaru of Morristown is, by far, the BEST ! Not only do I always have an amazing sales experience with Sam, but the SERVICE DEPARTMENT, I’m telling you, Victoria and her tier 1 team always take care of me. She makes sure I have a loaner waiting for me as my schedule is chaotic, and keeps me posted throughout the whole servicing transaction via text, which is my preferred method of communication. She is always professional and true to her word, but most of all honest. She doesn’t feed me the lies that all the other dealerships do. I have owned four Subaru Outbacks, and the last three were purchased at Subaru of Morristown. There has been a substantive difference between my early experiences at this dealership (chosen for convenience) and now. Things have improved greatly. Sales was great for my current car, a 2021. Service has been between good (overly busy before a holiday weekend recently, they could not guarantee that my car would be ready when originally promised) and excellent. The facility is comfortable if you are waiting for your car, and the courtesy van drivers have been courteous and professional. Virginia Reilly has been my service rep for several years now. She gets five stars, for her efficiency, caring manner, ability to explain or give me advice when I ask for it, and for keeping me in the loop as a repair is happening. Thank you, Virginia!

From the moment I spoke with Bob on the phone I knew this would be where I was going to get a great deal and come out with a new car. Excellent service, a real family atmosphere and you can tell that all the employees like working there! To be honest it doesn’t look much from the outside but they have a massive lot at the back full of new and used vehicles and the inside was very clean and well organized. Ask for Bob Parkes when you call, you won’t be disappointed and he will work hard to get you the car you want! Bob Parkes helped me buy my first Outback this week. He was wonderful to work with and spent a lot of time helping me get to know all of the car’s many features. I was not looking forward to car shopping and had been to about 15 dealerships in my search. This one definitely was a step above the rest.
I had a clutch and throw out bearing replaced on my 2013 Forester (not a small job!). Their mechanic did a great job. Everything was done right the first time with no issues whatsoever.Victoria, the service advisor constantly kept me up to date with what needed to be done, the cost and how long the job would take. The Forester was done ahead of schedule and the cost was exactly as quoted with no extra surprise expenses.
Victoria took care of my service today, was diligent in her notes of the potential issue, advised of longer than usual wait and took time to ensure and bring in the technician to explain the issue was not a problem (clunking noise when taking out of Park) and everything was normal.Got the car wash too. Great first experience from the first phone call this morning, and a loaner car was not a problem.Many thanks
Just took my new WRX in for its first maintenance and oil change. I worked with Victoria who was friendly and very helpful at providing me with all the information I requested. She also helped lay out the options I have for what tires I might use throughout the changing seasons. Ill be back in another 6k miles, or before then if I need anything else.
I took my Subaru here to get the recalls done and I’m very happy with the service . Great thing I noticed here was that they send a few reminders about your up coming service appointment, which is so helpful . Customer service rep. Randall was so helpful and courteous. A few people have told me Subaru of Morristown was good and now I get why.
Great customer service! This was my second time taking my car to this location for oil change/tire rotation/general inspection. Ricky was very helpful and a great communicator. He gave me a time estimate to completion (which was very accurate). Prices were very fair and I don’t need to worry about getting up-charged. 10/10 a great experience.

This is a review on the service department - I am very satisfied with the great service and communication provided by advisor Victoria! So much better than Paul Miller Subaru if you are considering between these two (see my review there if you are interested to know why). I am especially grateful that the shop found and removed a dead rodent thats causing my AC to smell funny without charge, when they couldve easily pushed for bigger work done at the cost of the customer. I appreciate the efficient, professional and sincere treatment I received and would definitely schedule my service here from now on!
Awful !Plainly awful.They refused to honor the written deal that was done 2 months ago, when I needed to change the lease.The salesman Chris negotiated a deal and they did not have cars at that time, so they ordered car for my new lease, I waited for over 2 months for the car to arrive and when I came to just formally sign papers with VIN number, they informed me that cars are in huge demand and they are increasing the price for extra $3000 and therefore my lease payment will be $95 more per month.And they said if I do not agree to pay that extra they will gladly sell car to a line of other people in waiting, who are ready to pay $5000 over the price.And they done it like a true mafia way .The sales manager asked me to come off the dealership to the back because he presumed I will not agree and make a scandal.They all look like absolutely sleazy, especially their finance guy, who said that I probably can sublease or re-lease it to others for profit(!)I absolutely do NOT recommend anybody to even come near this dealership.I am filing papers in court to sue this dealership and each one of the people involved intoscrewing me up.

Just a quick note about my buying experience….I visited several dealerships before coming to Subaru of Morristown. I have always owned Infiniti’s, and most recently BMW’s. With young twin girl snow, I wanted a very safe car, hence my choice of Subaru.Jen Dugan immediately made me feel comfortable as she showed me several different models and explained all their respective features. She was very patient and and personable. Once I made my decision to buy, she introduced me to Matt in Finance who was also very friendly and worked hard to get me a good deal on my trade in and financing. I never really write reviews but felt like I needed to after the disaster of a car I was sold. I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle from them, but I sincerely doubt that anyone actually checked it. First, the battery died on me after a day. I had it serviced at another Subaru dealership and they said the battery was sold with little capacity left in it. Additionally, their techs tightened the oil drain plug too much and almost required a complete pan switch ($575) but a special tool was able to free the plug. Definitely do not trust CPO or this dealership.Besides the physical items, there were also numerous software updates that the car needed that the dealership did not handle before sale.The dealership did not offer to repay me for the battery issue and I will not even bother with the oil drain plug...Update:They responded and said I did not contact them or reach out. This is not true - I called and emailed the dealership and the rep I purchased the car from. Whomever wrote the response must be copying and pasting as the multiple sales rep I talked to before and during the purchase knew I was from out-of-town. Towing from the Maryland to New Jersey was not an option.
Wonderful staff working the service department. Victoria is always so helpful and communicates with me every step of the way with updates and status of repairs. I purchased my outback here and I cannot imagine going elsewhere to be serviced. Very satisfied with the great service and staff!

My partner and I had a fantastic experience buying a Forrester from Chris at this dealership. We went to a lot of dealerships, even other Subaru dealerships, but we never forgot our good rapport with Chris (and the great price he had quoted us!) on our first visit. We ended up getting just the car we wanted, and I think Chris had a lot to do with that. Also, I didnt feel a ton of pressure to buy a lot of add ons - when he turned us over to the finance department for the final signatures and stuff it was easy breezy.
Absolutely the best and only place you should buy a car ! Their entire team believes in a no nonsense approach and made us feel like family!! Buyer beware. Promises were made during the sales promise that we’re not upheld. Turned into the sellers word against our own. Mike Willey, the seller, actively turned hostile and aggressive in person when we came in for our “complementary oil change.” I’ll be lodging a formal complaint. Buyers can do better than this churn and burn dealership located at 175 Ridgedale Avenue.

Their inventory is easily the best in the tri-state area, and the location makes it both accessible and scenic. Had a great service experience with Randal as my service advisor. Got me right in, explained what was going on and what to expect. Car had to stay overnight, he got me into a loaner with no issues and got me finished up first thing in the morning.When I came to pick up he explained exactly what was done and sent me on my way.

From top to bottom this staff was perfect. Sam is the ideal GM for any company. Him, Kostas, and the finance team took care of all our needs. They assessed what vehicle and options were important to us. They sell safe & reliable cars at great deals. I’ve purchased tons of cars but this was the first time I didn’t feel anxious. They even went over every feature after the deal was made to make sure my wife knew how to use every single feature. This is the place to go! I will be back!
All together it was a long but good experience there. While I was there for a while the staff was wonderful and kept me entertained. Tim did a wonderful job helping me with my car and made sure that I got updates on what was happening. He really made the process easy and was extremely friendly.

We have been taking our 2010 Outback to the Subaru of Morristown for a few years now, and have had a great experience each time. The logistics (ease of booking, timeliness, responsiveness, frequent communication) has always been impressive, and we are very happy with the quality of service (maintenance, specific issues, and the dreaded its making a weird sound, all of which were fully resolved). Its a professionally run organization that were happy we found and can rely on.
Everyone at Subaru Morristown Service is unbelievably friendly and professional. Victoria kept me posted throughout and made possible recommendations but never pressured into anything. If you have a Subaru take it there for service. You will not be disappointed.
I drive 45 min out of my way to go here. The NEWTON subaru dealership is absolute TRASH but THE MORRISTOWN ONE IS AMAZING! I was so frustrated when I first went there w my experience w the other dealership I had low expectation and was honestly ready to sell my car because no one would tell me what was wrong w my car UNTIL I CAME TO SUBARU OF MORRISTOWN! If you want a service rep who knows what she is talking about and communicative about issues and costs definitely ask for VICTORIA.

Selling Vehicles 12.5% over Manufacturers List Price due to Vehicle Shortages. Cars are necessities and not leverage tools to gouge consumers this is a Subaru not a Porsche a working person transportation. Morristown Subaru shame on you.

My husband and I both purchased Outbacks from here and because it’s close to our home we take them here for service. On a Saturday, I dropped off my Subaru for service and Victoria handled my concerns in a courteous and professional manner. She also kept me updated on the status of the vehicle. Especially during the pandemic it was nice that the dealer was so close to the Frelinghuysen Arboretum so it gave me an excuse to walk over and visit so the wait for my vehicle did not seem long at all. I know whenever I take my vehicle here it will be in good care.

Especially during a pandemic, the staff at the service department is quick to check you in and offers options based on if you will wait or if you need a shuttle during your service. The waiting room is spacious and has a negotiation room if you need to do some work. The staff is always courteous and professional.

Recall on my 2016 outback, took it in on a Saturday and got a loaner and brought it back when the job was done. Randall did a great job taking care of me. Would recommend this Subaru service ANY TIME!
Just bought a 2018 Impreza. I had spent about 3 weeks car searching prior to my purchase trying to find an honest and straight forward dealership and I couldnt be happier with my experience at Subaru of Morristown. All the sale persons, Jeff W, Erick, and Sam were incredibly patient. I would recommend Jeff to anyone! My mother and I left the dealership with all our questions answered and worries settled. We are very happy customers!
Took my vehicle to their service dept for a minor fix. They found a bunch of work that needed to be done and gave me a literally insane price to make the repairs. I took my vehicle to a local favorite in Madison and they did the work for 60% less, saving me $6k from the dealer quote. Consider yourself warned.
We recently got our second Forester from Subaru of Morristown. There was a misunderstanding with respect to the deal, but to their credit, Subaru of Morristown (and Eric the sales manager) honored the word of the salesperson and prior sales manager. Their service has always been excellent and I am particularly impressed with the effort that they made to keep us happy as customers. Highly recommended.

A great experience. I’ve been buying new cars for over fifty years and my experience here was easily the best I ever had. The sales team here did an exceptional job finding the car I wanted and putting together a great deal. Cassandra was very attentive. She guickly located exactly the car we wanted right down to every option and at a good price. Victor was very helpful at putting together the deal and trade-in. A very comfortable and smooth transaction. Last but not least was pick up day, which was a wonderful experience. Thanks to Javier who was very knowledgeable and personable. I get it. Subaru service is not Mercedes service, not even close. Even at that, the 1 mile road test to check out my complaint about the poorly and erratic lane assist was a joke. Of course, the technician found nothing wrong. I guess I will have have to drive all the way out to where I bought the car for decent service. - For an indication of this dealers attentionvto details, see pictures from their waiting room with posters hung crooked and conflicting messages about WiFi service.Finally, the fact that I had to go and remind the service staff that my car was sitting ready to go in their driveway was disappointing. (The way I discovered this was by locate my vehicle in the Subaru app.)
Friendly and courteous. My sales person Chris was very empathetic to my emotions and concerns about leasing a new vehicle. His response and attention was so appreciated. I felt I was being heard with my questions and never felt forced or rushed with the entire process.
Ricky was very helpful and friendly. My Crosstrek was ready when Ricky said it would be. So I wouldn’t have to wait he set me up in a loaner vehicle. Great service team
Overall very dissatisfied with our experience there at Subaru of Morristown. Despite the fact that we followed through with our purchase there, I regret doing so, for this is the most incompetent dealership that anyone in my direct family has ever dealt with. From the start, it was a negative experience, and continued to be as such after the first servicing, done by them. Within the past 3 years, I have bought 2 new trucks, and a Sprinter Van. All of which were seamless, easy experiences. I was treated with respect, answers came in a timely manner, and no damage was done to my vehicles during servicing. This dealership not only didnt get back to me at all, let alone in a timely manner, during the purchasing process, but then once I brought the car in, they scratched my shift knob, and cut my emergency brake lever. My guess is the person who serviced the car had a tool in their hand. The only reason Im even giving two stars instead of one, is because we absolutely love the vehicle. This dealership is terrible though, and we will not be returning here to buy my sister, or fathers subarus next time. They couldnt even call or email me back with my issues when I contacted them. Complete lack of respect from Subaru of Morristown.
On 5/25/21, late in the afternoon, I had an unfortunate occurrence where I had a puncture to the sidewall of a tire in my 2020 Legacy. I called and spoke to Randall. He started the process of getting a loaner setup and getting my vehicle in to have the tire replaced. On arrival, I was greeted by Randall and Ricky. They were exceptional! Very friendly and professional!! I was out with the loaner very fast!!! I received a call by Randall around 2:00 the next day that my car was done. When I arrived I was again greeted with professionalism and courteousness by both again. EXCELLENT & FAST SERVICE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Subaru of Morristown! Ask for Ricky or Randall. Guaranteed you will be happy.
Extremely rude women in the service department wouldn’t transfer me to a supervisor or manager who’s knowledgeable with STIs to ask a question about the car before scheduling an appointment. Thanks for the help.
