The best repair shop! Robert was very helpful and informative, and got me up and running very quickly! I will be bringing my business back to them.
Robert and Earl cannot be beat. Best shop in town. We buy all our machines at The Stitching Post in Moore. Have traded there for years. Always a great experience!
Many years of doing business with this shop has made me a devoted customer. They are also so supportive of the local guilds. That means a lot to me. They have supported our quilt shows and community projects. I also love being greeted by the dogs.
At the Stitching Post Robert, Robin and the staff very knowledgeable of all the sewing and embroidery . You can call or go to the store and get help.
I have purchased from the Stitching Post a few times but the service is not consistent. My first purchase was an embroidery machine and I had a fabulous experience. They even had a gentleman deliver the machine to my house because the box wouldnt fit in my car. I was very happy with the sale and their help. Its been a few years and I recently called to inquire about having my machine serviced and the woman who answered didnt know the price without asking the man (presumably the owner?), and when I asked for pricing on used machines it was the same thing.I placed an online order this weekend and when I went to pick it up I wasnt greeted on arrival or thanked for my purchase. Three women behind the counter and not one smiled or asked how they could help. None of them even said a word to me, just looked at me until I stated my reason for coming in. They handed me my bag and that was that. It was just odd! I think the staff can brush up on a few things in regards to welcoming customers.
Very helpful when I was having difficulty locating a bobbin case for my Juki long arm. John even searched the shop for the missing tension screw I needed. They didnt have that but did have a new bobbin case at a very reasonable price. Great customer service.
The new store is really awesome. They not only carry machines but they have a large selection of fabric and quilt kits. Have purchased sewing machines and vacuum cleaners. Great customer service even after the sale. Good selection of classes. Repair department I’d really good and the had my machine done in a couple of hours. Great place!
Very helpful. Service was good
My machine quit sewing and Im in the middle of making a quilt for a gift for Christmas. They got me in on the same day and easily fixed my machine.
Very rude and unprofessional. When Id scheduled private sewing lessons, the employee acted like I was such a burden and teaching me was a waste of her time; another employee didnt even honor the appointment - she didnt think Id show up for it. The employee who filled in for the no-show insulted my ability to sew, despite knowing I was a novice; she also acted like I was wasting her time.
I love the Stitching Post, had my Scan and Cut for 6 months, finally took it out of the box. Charity gave the class, she was great! So patient and kind. We learned so much, went home and created and/or made 4 shirts! Thank you Charity and Stitching Post!
A year and a half (September 2018) ago I was looking for someone who could sew/make a jacket for my granddaughter who was 2 at the time. They recommend a worker there by the name of Deb. My daughter in-law and granddaughter meet me there for a fitting. Deb says she will make the jacket for $65 due right then. Have it ready for me soon. I want it for Christmas 2018. Didn’t get it. Deb does a lot of work for the Moore schools and just didn’t have the time. She’ll have time over the summer. End of summer no jacket. She isn’t responding to text or calls. Take my 3 year old granddaughter up there again for new measurements. After a month I call give her a week. Two weeks I text no response. I call the store she isn’t there yet. I text - no response. Now we are 1 week away from a second Christmas and no jacket. My granddaughter is now 3 1/2 years old and she has yet to see her jacket. Deb works at the store. The store recommended her. This is their customer service. I bought all that was left of this expensive fabric and I have no idea if there is any left. Should have been a lot left. I will never recommend or go to this business again. At this point filing a claim in small claims is all I know to do.
Have done business with this shop for purchases, sewing supplies repairs on my machines and have always been pleased. They have some nice higher quality fabrics, panels and extra wide backing fabric not carried at other stores. The employees are always helpful and answer all my questions. Great place to shop.
I LOVE THIS SHOP!! Great new location in the New City Shopping Center off 1-35. Thanks for servicing our machine so quickly & meticulously, Robert🌼
They quickly fixed my sewing machine and had a really nice selection of threads, fabrics and supplies. They were super friendly, attentive and gave me a lot of great advice too!
My wife says its the best resource around for all things sewing, but we were actually next door to them today at 4WParts . Its cool having these 2 stores next door to each other.
Went to Stitching Post looking for a fabric to work on my quilt, expecting to see a large array of fabric based on their web site. Found a limited amount of fabric. Appeared that their main focus is on machine service. Couldnt find the bobbins I was looking for, material was over priced and ended up going to Walmart and finding what I needed at a lower price. Wont be going back. Sorry Stitching Post, gave you a try.
My favorite place to shop.
Excellent. Let me tell you why. Took my machine in to see why it wouldnt sew after having been serviced by someone else. They fine tuned it immediately so it sewed perfectly and didnt charge me. Told me just to come back soon! I will definitely go back to support their business.
I took my grandma’s 1952 Pfaff in to get it serviced. Just got it back and it’s running better than ever! I’m so excited to get it working again.
I had an older model embroidery machine that I had purchased used from someone. It was having some stitching and shredding thread issues. Turns out the machine was sicker than I thought or knew, they fixed it and for way cheaper than anywhere else wanted. It stitched so beautiful when I got it home and no more frustrating jumping threads or shredding.
Fantastic place to go to learn to sew, quilt, purchase a machine or make new friends that you have SEWING in common. I Highly recommend their Service Dept., and what an awesome staff they have, always so helpful and go the extra mile to help you. Highly Recommend!!
My machine broke the other day and they were the closest store to my house. I am really glad that I went to this store! They were very helpful, and had my machine running like new in no time at all. Overall I would highly recommend The Stitching Post to anyone who enjoys shopping at a friendly, comprehensive, local store where the employees really care about your needs.
This is a great place to go. I love going to the classes. The teachers are very helpful. I’ve been going to the Stiching Post since 1990.
I purchased an embroidery machine and an HQ Avante quilting machine from the Stitching Post. The staff is exceptionally well trained and knowledgeable about the products, and have been very helpful anytime I have a question or problem. All of my sewing machines (5!) are serviced here, as well. The repair staff always work to resolve my issue, and to do it quickly! And they seem to endeavor to help me save repair dollars in the process. I can recommend The Stitching Post without hesitation. Theyre my go-to sewing machine store in Oklahoma City!
I took an old Singer serger in to be serviced that I found at a garage sale to this place, on a friends suggestion, as the place I normally go takes a few weeks and I needed it sooner f I really a project. She has had good service here from one of the brothers, though she said the other talked to her as if she was a simple minded female. She assured me they were very quick with repairs, so I went 40 minutes from my home to bring it.I wasnt so much upset about the almost $90 fee, which I thought a bit high, but was told they had issues repairing something I wasnt aware needed fixing and as an obvious novice, how would I know what needed to be fixed? What I am upset about was that I was told it would be no more than 10 days to fix it, and they didnt even get to look at it until three weeks after I brought it in, which it took another week to actually fix it. There was absolutely no communication from them in this time, unless I called myself, even the day I picked it up, I called at around noon and it just happened to be ready. Then, when I picked it up, I realized it was missing the three spools of overlook thread I had brought in with me. I asked for them and was told the machine did not come in with them. I argued that I was certain I brought them, and argued back at that I didnt. I thought maybe I was wrong, and went home. No, the thread is not in my home, so obviously they lied or didnt care to keep the thread I brought in.Terrible customer service. The only reason I didnt put one star is Im hoping my machine is actually fixed, which I cannot check until I purchase more thread.I will not be returning.
We went into this shop about two months ago to ask about repairing our industrial machine. Whoever it is that does their repairs said he would call as soon as he got an opening. We never have heard from them, and he gave us the impression he was too busy to be bothered to discuss much.I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. Take your business to Dixons if you have an industrial machine!
I highly recommend The Stitching Post. The technician said my real problem was my thread and he showed me the difference with his thread. Even with his evidence, I didnt want to face the possibility of replacing all my thread. So, I went home and tried to stitch out a design with my thread. Did not work. Put in a spool of his, and it is beautiful! On top of that, he took a lot of time helping me and did NOT charge for his time! Who does that in todays world? What a concept, customer service!! Thank you, Robert! I WILL be back and I will highly recommend your store.p.s. And I really was speechless, even though I kept talking. :-)
I went into the store today to inquire about quilting classes. I wasn’t greeted when I walked up the counter and the employee was rude. I told her I wanted to start quilting as a hobby and she said I needed to bring a machine to their classes. So I asked to see some of the machines they had for sale and she showed me “machines good for a beginner” that were $700+. I was very disappointed in my experience there and felt like the employee didn’t want my business and looked down on me for being a beginner. I will take my business to JoAnns.
Robert had my machine fixed in maybe 20 minutes. When it broke I thought I was in for a nightmare of long waits for repairs or several hundred dollars for a new machine. So glad I went here!
Left our Riccar vacuum (which we had purchased from them) there for repair. After a month they had not even looked at it. Had called twice but evidently customer service is unimportant. Just the old story of being too busy. Well, we can help with that by never returning.
My wife always has a great experience no matter which location she goes to. I highly recommend them!
Very polite, speedy service!
I dont get up to Britton, however I do know some of the people there and they are awesome. I live South and I love the people at the moore store. I see them in class once or twice a week. They have become part of my life, my friends. I would never trust my machines (my babies) to anyone else if they just need cleaning or something more serious.
I went in this store today. Needless to say I WILL NOT ever go back. The people in there today was very rude. She acted like she did not want our business and we interrupted her when we asked her to cut fabric. Will never go there again. If you have had a good experience there Im happy for you!
Super friendly and helpful.
Hate going here I wish there were more options !!!
Service is awesome at The Stitching Post
