Love love this location. Always busy, clean, and organized. Nice variety and a one stop shop at this department store. I believe this location to be much better than a mall location. I love fall shopping. Holiday items are always some of the best. Went this trip for small appliances shopping. They had exactly what I was looking for and in stock!! Glad I made the trip to Moore.

Good selection of big and tall mens clothes at good prices. Not so much womens wear. Follow latest fashion trends, with no alternatives, like most retail stores these days and high prices.

They have really cute clothes, but they are a bit pricey. I didnt end up getting anything, because unless it is on sale, anything is rather expensive.

I had an amazing photographer at the location in Moore, OK! Her name was Alli. She was super patient and helpful during our session. My baby took birthday pictures since hes turning 2 years old. Alli went out her way to make sure our pictures turned out perfect!Thank you Alli for all your help! 💜

The beauty parlor was great, there cloths are not sized right. You have to walk all the way to the other side of the store to try cloths on. There are fitting rooms closed. Why? If they can open 1 why not the other ones? Only nice thing about my visit was my hair cut.

JCPenney is the king of bait and switch. I have NEVER shopped here where things rang up correctly. And most of the time, like today, they wont honor the posted sales. There were signs all over the suit area that said sale, suits regularly price X on sale for price Y. Specifically, there was one of these signs, with the suit brand name, on the rack of suits I was shopping for. The sign said items regularly marked $110 on sale for $64.99 and items regularly marked $210 on sale for $125. I picked up a pair of slacks marked $110 and a suit jacket for $210. This, according to the signs, should have meant $189 total. It rang up for $347. I told the check out lady and she said she knows and will fix it. Then came back and said a customer must have moved the sign, it was only for the rack next to that one. The suits were identical on each, and the same brand, and the same regular price. But one rack had my size and the other did not. They refused to honor the price and told me I could use a coupon instead that would have taken the price to $250. If this were the only time this had happened, Id be more understanding, but it has been the last 15ish times Ive been in there. I just needed a suit for my grandmothers funeral that I could afford, but that bait and switch extra $158 is downright criminal. Just mark things what they cost, JCP and stop this complex sale system you arbitrarily choose not to honor.

I told the cashier I had the wallet app and attempted to get her to scan it 3 times. She ignored me completely. I happen to know from experience that if they dont scan it before scanning the merchandise then the wallet wont work. All of my birthday gift cards were loaded into my wallet but because she wouldnt listen to me I had to type them in manually! JCPennys needs to train their employees. Also she didnt bag our stuff nor did she offer to.

Such a wonderful store, I could wonder around forever. Everything so lovely. Great prices. Awesome sales. So happy to still have one open close to me.

Unfortunately, the Midwest CityJ C Penney location closed its doors for good during the summer of 2020. This was all part of the decision made by their executive management last year in 2019.Shoppers in this area now have to travel to Penn Square, Edmond and Moore storefronts for their J C Penny shopping needs. This is really too bad since Midwest Citys store was so convenient and offered everything the remaining stores offer.Ive posted some photos of a vacant storefront.The 5-Stars is left for the employees that provided quality service.

If I could put 0 stars, I would. Don’t follow somebody around the store because they wear a purse and wanna try clothes on. Literally wait at the door for them to check out and then when they leave, talk about them. Horrible customer service. Don’t send all the associates to ask them for help one after another and not expect them to feel uncomfortable just trying to shop because they are an assumed shoplifter when they did nothing but ask to use the dressing room because it was blocked off.

Horrible experience with the employee at the jewelry counter.. She blew me off and ignored me after finding out I was just there to buy silver. Like, she was so blatant about how I wasnt worth her time. JCP in general is an overpriced, complicated company and I dont see how theyre even still around. You can find the same items at Kohls for cheaper and get better service. So, I wont be supporting this business anymore.

I could not get app to work per the directions on designated parking for curbside pickup. Finally decided to do pickup instead. When walking to the door saw sign with directions for curbside pickup. These directions should have been on the parking signs. Went into JCP and did not see any signs for customer pickup. Finally found an employee who said it was at customer service which is in the very back of the store. Even though I have been vaccinated and have passed the 2 week waiting period I am a person with medical conditions. I did not feel safe walking all the way through the store.

Has some excellent items and some good prices. Need to watch the ads and use coupons for best savings. Bought socks and other underclothes items 2 for one that make the price for the quality items better than Walmart or Kohls. Jackets for the men in my life were classy, comfortable and warm. Bought sheets and a new set of dishes for the holidays, making my trip a complete success. Will be back for Mason jar decorator salt/pepper shakers .....and the mug and pitcher set!

I bought several clearance items. However I had gone to JCP to purchase summer clothes and didnt fine colorful pedal pushers or capris that I liked I did not want Capris without pockets or more jeans. So I will shop other places.

Found what I came for. I understand with Covid, but I really wished theyd open the fitting room by womans. Walking from one end of the store to the other (a couple of times) and then the lines to wait, it would be more convenient. Other than that, everything went great. Masks on and hand sanitizer to use.

They have really good deals on their clearance racks of youll just take the time to look through them

Moore Store had just what I needed.

I still like JC Penney. The inventory name brands offer a variety and are reasonably priced. We found 3 beautiful dresses for our 6 yr old granddaughter and I found a tan colored shirt that, believe it or not, has been difficult to find. Where have all the tan and brown shirts gone?

Just because you have a Pennys card doesnt mean you cant change up the store you visit. Went to Moore Pennys and was pleasantly surprised with the selection and quality.

Found some high quality clothes for my sons, husband, dil, & a beautiful purse for 80% off for myself. We are retired and sons lost their jobs because of covid. I even found things Im putting away for Christmas gifts. I hope yall are able to remain open. JCP has been my favorite store for over 50yrs.

It was hard to locate based on the directions, but once I found the store, my experience was pleasant.

There are many reasons why this is the only JC Penney is shop at: friendly and knowledgeable in every department. From jewelry, Mens suits and clothes to all Ladies departments (my bride a fan of this store as well), including shoes. The best part of this store is that it is organized and CLEAN! Thank you to the management and staff at JC Penney Moore for doing an outstanding job. Ive been shopping here since 2005 and will continue to do so.

Overall a decent experience. They have a mask requirement which I didnt adhere to for health ossues and no one seemed to take issue with. Not real busy for this time of year great clearance sale. Front end customer service by our checker was a 5 out of 5. There wasnt a lot of help on the gloor like I am used to.

Nice clean store. Found what I needed. Good job social distancing in the checkout area. A customer was wound up about a item with the wrong price sticker on it. Justin, the manager on duty, handled it like a pro. It gave everyone in line some entertainment.

Great place to go for great prices on clothing! Went during a wonderful spring sale and got so many quality cloths at amazing prices! Bought some amazing button down shirts for my husband to work it and they are high quality. I also bought some wonderful summer shirts for five dollars! Perfect to wear around for summer walking and running and also got a great deal on shorts! They have a great selection of casual clothes for both women and men. They also have a great selection of dresses and formal attire! I also buy my sheets there and just love them! They have that hard to find colors and high quality sheets and a wonderful price. I was looking for a new purse, and found a pretty one. This store seems to have things Im looking to buy.*Now that theyre not JCPENNEY anymore, I cant find clothes that I like or linens. Kitchen Aid is outrageously priced. Sad about Pennys!

I have nothing but good things to say about this particular JC Pennys. They actually showed me what customer service use to be like. From the moment I walk in I was greeted by a nice gentleman. All the way to the end where yet another employee cashed me out. They were helpful threw out asking if I needed help finding stuff. With less then two weeks till Christmas everyone was friendly and helpful. Thank you 😊

Went in to buy grandsons outfit for a semi-formal dance. With deals and discounts I saved twice as much as I spent. The clothes fit perfect and look so sharp.

Not a bad store. Selections are limited due to Covid 19 though.

Did not do any kind of shopping here but we did stop by the photo studio. I do not recall the name of the photographer, but I can tell you she was on point. She was able to get our family in and out in a very efficient manner without feeling rushed. She was great with the 2 kids in our group and knocked out all the combinations of family poses quickly and made us look great. I have a new respect for the JC Penney portrait studio. I highly recommend this location. FYI, we made an appointment and didnt do a walk in. You can do walk ins here but be prepared for a wait if it is a busier time of the year or there are other people waiting. Making an appointment is the way to go, in my opinion. Be on time when you make an appointment. Dont make an appointment and show up late then try to complain. Just my 2 cents.

I went in there today to buy swimwear. Everything is 50 to 70% off because of the end of summer sales. One of the swimsuits was unmarked, but had a tag of 54.00. When the suit rang up at 80.00, the cashier called for a manager. When the manager came over, she told me she would sell it to me at FULL price! She refused to honor the 50 to 70% off that was advertised.This is not the only time I have had problems in this store. The only reason I still go there is because the 2nd closest one to my home is 16 miles away while this one is only 7 miles away.You would think JCPenney would be more accomodating to their customers considering they are close to closing their stores forever.I personally love Penney s and have shopped here all my life.But, something needs to be done regarding the lack of customer service at this particular store, not that it looks like it s gonna matter much longer.

I love the Salon! The manager Barbara is such a sweet and helpful person I always enjoy my time in this salon. My hair stylist, Gena is amazing. Always the perfect color and cut. I let her style my hair the way she wants and its always different and whimsical.

Booked an appointment In the portrait studio at JCpenny’s. We showed up for our scheduled appointment and we were told to sit and wait. Same thing happened last year and we waited 40 minutes after our appointment time to be photographed. Last year I did not complain we just excepted it and waited patiently assuming that it was a one time thing. However, Once again this year I book an appointment like I’m supposed to so that I’m seen at my appointment time and I’m told to sit down and wait because they’re seeing somebody else. If I was a walk in I’ll be perfectly fine sitting and waiting. I was not a walk in I scheduled an appointment so that I would not have to sit and wait with a two-year-old who likes to wander. I even called to confirm there was no one before us so that we would be seen at our appointment time for our family of 7. I’ve now lost my business permanently and less they can find a way to make it right.
