This has been the worst painting experience ever I drop my vehicle off 8/5/21 to be painted they said it will take about 3 weeks I didnt get my vehicle back until 10/29/21. I have gone several times to check the work always something people out sick weather. So when I get my truck on Fri look over it overspray everywhere trash in the paint spots that were missed and all they can say is Im sorry we can fix it nope good enough.Do not use Maco in Montgomery Alabama.

The paint job looks better than I was expecting for the price. However, they did not put my wind deflector back on and they left some dirty spots inside. They didnt accept the Maaco coupon because they are not a participating site.

Overall the paint job looks great but they didn’t finish sanding down the inside of the door handles. It feels gritty. The rubber that holds the windows has paint on them that may or may not come off.

I have had 2 of my trucks painted at the Maaco in Montgomery Alabama. Willie Pedrick and his Team really done a great job and I have several folks tell me how well the paint job looks. I would recommend them HIGHLY to anyone in Central Alabama

On 2-14-2017 I got an estimate from Keith Moxley at Maaco in Montgomery, Al. on my 1988 GMC Suburban. It was for a total of 978.00 and it would take a week. I told him I would bring it back before the 90 day quote is over. On 3-6-2017 I called to like him know I would bring it in on 3-13-2017 and I did. I drove by that next day to see if they had started on it but it was in the back yard so I drove by that Thursday and it was still untouched in the back yard. I did notice on 3-18-2017 on a Saturday some sanding on the side and the top of the vehicle had been done and it was still in the back yard. I got a call from Keith on 3-23-2017 to tell me that my vehicle was still in his shop and that it had extensive repairs on it. So I asked him when will he have it ready and he said he don’t know, it should be about a week and a half more so I said it need to stay at that quote that I got from him, and his reply was I’m going to try.On 3-28-2017 I got a call from Maaco saying that my truck was ready, so I went to get it and noticed that the rust in the front below the light was just painted over and not removed first. The tech said that Keith was not there because his wife was in a car accident and he would be in tomorrow. I told him I can’t take the truck looking like that and for him to have Keith call me in the morning. The next day I had to call Keith and he said he didn’t put that in the quote so I reminded him that he did see it and then he said he would fix it at his cost but it would be another five days and he would try to have it ready on Monday 4-3-2017.Finally, I called back on Thursday, 04-6-2017 and Keith said he would go look at it and call me back, and he did, saying that it was ready. When I picked up my truck, I was seriously disappointed, AGAIN. Spray dust was all over on the inside of the vehicle, under the hood, my new engine was totally covered with spray dust and on the outside of the car was the same, DUST EVERYWHERE, and paint in places it should not have been. There was also spray dust in the paint on the hood. I had to go home and clean up my vehicle, inside and out, something no one should have to do after having a professional company paint it and after paying the money that I did. I am a repeated customer, having 4 vehicles (this being the 4th time) being painted by Maaco and I’ve had GREAT experiences, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve had at this franchise, mainly because of management (Keith Moxley), who was unprofessional and non-caring.

Terrible job! It looks like no primer was used under the paint. After just a few days of driving the paint was already chipping away, and now after a few months the paints nearly all gone! I’ve called multiple times about getting it redone, the guy says “let me check my system and I’ll get back to you” then never returns the call. Bottom line is, NEVER USE MAACO in Montgomery!

I had my Dodge Ram 1500 2003 painted and it looks great. The team at Montgomery Macco did a great job. Cleanup after the job could have been better as they left the cab a mess with sanding dust.

Said it would be finished in two to three weeks, took two and a half months. Poor paint job and they had to repaint parts of it and still not right, pair was still on bumpers, crome trim and windows. Who ever sanded it allowed it to scar up windows. Had used them years ago and did great job and was going to have them paint my mothers car, not now. They should be better than this.

I had my hood on my 2015 chevy Tahoe painted. I made an appointment to come in and get an estimate what it would cost to do the work, which was fine. At that time i set the appointment to bring my vehicle in the next tuesday September 7, 2020. I was told my vehicle would be ready on Monday September 14, 2020. For a job that would take one day to do. On Monday September 14, 2020 I called to check the status of my vehicle to find out they had just started working on my vehicle that morning. I was upset that they had my vehicle sitting there a week and had not did anything to it. I could have been driving my vehicle I was inconveince with the wait. I called back Tuesday morning September 15, 2020 to find out that they was still working on my vehicle because it was that last vehicle they painted on Monday. I finally picked up my vehicle Tuesday evening at 4:15pm to find clean up residue all over my vehicle.

Absolutely enjoyed my experience with Maaco!!I came in LAST minute for a paint job for my nephews sweet 16 car, and Corey made sure my vehicle was all together prior to that day. The customer service was amazing and I can’t thank the team at Maaco enough for making sure he had his car on his big day!! Highly recommend this place!!!

We took our car to be painted on July 7, 2020. We were given a date of July 17,2020 as the pick up date. We went back on the 24th and the car still wasnt ready. We called several other times and the car still wasnt ready. We were assured that we would be called when the vehicle was ready. We had to call to ask about an update (August 17). After getting the car I noticed that the workmanship was not up to par and that my car had been driven more than around the shop along with the area under the hood being dusty. The mirrors were not painted and some areas along the fender and bumper were poorly painted.

My car looks new better than when I bought itWish they could have got the scratch out of my windshield.

Took two days longer then the original estimate. Got paint on areas that were supposed to be maskEd, but what do you expect from an $800 paint job compared to a $3000 one. Also got a few particles under the clear coat. I’m not very mad because I know that’s the price I pay for going cheap. However the overall paint job is a huge improvement and I’m satisfied.

Do not have your vehicle painted at maaco because they are every thing that has been said about them. Worse paint job you will ever get. All they do is just paint over existing paint. No prepping just paint. Dont know anything about properly doing the job they claim could be done. Maybe they should take lessons from the ones that know how to do the job . Dont know how they can even be in business. Please dont let these people take advantage of you. 👎👎👎👎👎

This was the worst possible experience I have ever been a part of. Some in broke into the shop and vandalized my vehicle cut the catalytic converters of all the vehicles. Had my truck for 24 days. I will never ever ever use Maaco paint and body again, and Anyone who ask me about them I will tell them the same🤷🏾‍♂️.

Had a 1999 Chevrolet S10, not extended cab repainted original color. Paid $760 for very small amount of paint and work. Paint job is alright, bubbles in spots and can tell areas where too much was applied. No veteran or military discounts, was returned 6 says after the date we agreed upon because they had to re-sand and paint it in some areas. Looks like it still needs that in some areas, especially since I paid to have the truck stripped prior to painting. Forgot to put my bed liner back in...... Get what you pay for and I knew that, but as a mechanic myself I wouldnt trust them with their higher end paint jobs or collision repair.

Called asked pricing ... told them needed car back before 24th before we drove from Tallassee to Montgomery Alabama. When we got there the man told us they could not guarantee to have it done ... could be over 3 weeks could we bring it back ... They had over 61 cars ahead of us already. If we had known that before we drove out we would not have wasted the gas or our time. It was very unprofessional and not very business like.

Was beyond surprised at the fantastic customer service I experienced at Maaco Montgomery. (I am STILL waiting on a call back to a message I left at a local GM dealer more than two weeks prior to getting an estimate from Maaco!) My drivers door handle literally sheared off in my hand during our cold/rainy snap. During a fill up, a compassion gentlemen who recognized the difficulties of crawling into the drivers seat from the passenger side recommended I check with Maaco; he stated they would be fair with the cost and complete the job in reasonable time. I stopped the next day and spoke with Trey. He quickly determined the part required, advised me of the replacement/color match cost, and placed the order with my permission. He recommended that since he couldnt be exactly sure of the day the part would arrive (2-3 days), that he call me AFTER they had totally prepared the part for installation; thereby, preventing me from having to bring my car back in UNTIL the part was ready...WOW, how refreshing. He called me (two days later) and advised that the part was in, painted, and ready to install. He then had the install complete in half the time estimated!! I am beyond thrilled with their work ethics and customer service. New owner, Willie, was overhead to be advising customers that he stands behind ALL work done at his shop. Nice to know that true customer service agencies still exist!! BTW, I STILL havent heard back from the Cadillac dealer...

Done a good job for the price

They lost my key and it took a month to get my car back. There was a full color change on my car with racing stripes. There are many places where I can still see the old color on edges under window seal or above fender. Also the racing stripes look awful the line is very fat and uneven on one strip. Paint on windows, mirrors etc.. I called and let them know that the paint job was unsatisfactory and they told me to bring it back. Now like I said before they lost my key and had my car for 3 weeks longer than I was told. After the first week I called and they kept telling me it would be ready the next day and I got the same response every time I called for about two weeks until they finally had admitted to it that they had lost the key.When I went to pick up the car finally it was night I could not see the quality of the job as it was black and was just happy to have my car so I could finally stop paying for rides to work and school. Like I stated earlier I told them about and they said to bring it back but after so much trouble I can not afford to go another three weeks without a car.

Very pleased with the quality and service. We took our 2006 Toyota Corolla in for service. It had major rust on the roof, and they were able to sand it and repainted the whole car. It looks brand new again. It took about 2 weeks to get it back, but it was well worth the wait.

I received great customer service from Willie and Keith. The fender replacement and paint job for my Nissan Versa was completed in a week, just as they said and it was very affordable. I definitely recommend this place if youre lookng for quality work and especially if you have a tight budget.

As usual, Maaco did a great job repairing my vehicle. Staff is friendly, they were efficient and fast getting my vehicle back to me, and the price was so much better than any other body shop could offer.

It was the worse visit charged me over 500 dollars and there was over spray everywhere the paint didn’t even match the color on the car. I will never go thereRecommend anybody to that shop very unhappy very unsatisfied customer.

Wendell and I want to personally thank Trey for such good customer service, knowledge of the paint & body business, so he was able to make suggestions about what we needed to make our Jeep look as good as possible, and also the team striving to achieve their promise at Maaco to return our Jeep ASAP, and was able to make that promise date 1-day early ! We would also like to thank Mr. Willie, for a well run establishment with employees that are courteous and helpful to their clients ! I am hard to please and have high expectations of others and believe when you tell someone something, you should make every effort to do what you say! We wanted to drive our Jeep a couple more years before we bought a new vehicle but now our Jeep looks brand new so we may drive it a little longer ! Our Jeep looks so good our own family did not know who we were when we pulled up in their drive ! Thanks to everyone at Macco in Montgomery, Alabama !

The customer service was great thanks to Corey. But I had to have my truck redone twice. Bad body work And a lot of over Spray all over my windows and the truck plus door jams also had alot of over spray. It was a horrible experience horrible. And I have another truck that I was going to let them paint but after this experience I dont think so.. I wouldnt tell my worst enemy about this place. Something need to change in the paint and body department. Someone needs to take pride in what they do instead of rushing. Oh yeah I didnt get the cheap paint job either. No STARS FROM ME👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

We had a Camry painted for my daughter. I dealt with Keith through the process, who was always good to work with. When we picked the car up, Keith and I walked around the car and inspected it. It had a lot of pollen on it from being kept outside before we picked it up, so as best I could tell at that time, it looked good. When I got home, I took my wife outside to look at it and we noticed a flaw in what appeared to be the clearcoat on the hood. It looked like the clearcoat may have dripped or been touched before fully dry. We will likely take it back to let them see it and have the flaw taken care of, as we have a 3 year warranty. According to the service we have had to this point, I dont expect any problems. I would recommend them if you need a vehicle painted.

Been dealing with them for years I usually get a car painted once every seven to eight months because I switch up car so much good painters but the last one I got wasnt that great couple runs supposed to bring it back in 2 weeks but other than that great paint job💪💪💪💪

Nice paint, however, poor attention to detail. Left tape on grill, over spray paint on lights and chrome, and have some debris in the hood.

Ok, so according to many reviews, this place is terrible at paint jobs. My concern is do they sand your car down first and put a sealant on it, so it doesnt fade and crack a month down the road?Has anyone had theyre car painted here and it turn out great, or am I to find someone else?Ive sent them 3 letters on their site for an estimate, but no one has called me back or wrote me back as of yet.

I am very unhappy with the body work and paint job they did on my GMC sierra. There was alot of over spray on my door seals and my mirrors and windshield also on my tires and exhaust. I purchased the best piant Job they had on the display and I will not be recommending them there is also 2 runs and trash in my paint. Where my old decals where u can still see the old adhesive.

This place is very unorganized, I was called to pickup my truck after my fiberglass bedcover had to be repainted after being painted 10 months ago.The paint was cracking & trash spots was peeling.When I got to the shop 2 hours later to find the bedcover was not put back on properly, it was misaligned & would not lock & on top of that the whole truck was wet & dirty,no attempt to detail it after the work was done.I had to leave the truck so the bedcover could be aligned & to dry & clean the truck up.Got back again n 2 more hours the bedcover still had to be adjusted. I have never seen such unprofessionalism in my life, I don’t understand how this business continue to operate with that kind of workmanship!This was a warranty job, when it was painted 10 months ago there was overspray & runs & trash in the paint.I was not pleased but settled & accepted this poor quality of work.I even had overspray on my tires & rims which I personally had to clean them.This was the $2100 package!🤷🏾‍♂️

The Montgomery Alabama MAACO did an excellent job repairing body damage to my wifes SUV. They were able to work with my insurance to make the repairs under one claim and replace the windshield under a seperately claim. I would use them again in the future.

Car was suppose to have dents taken out and a new paint job. They removed some of the damage but the car still had dents and scratches on it and they painted over it anyway. They gave a discount which wasn’t much for the poor work that they did. I will never use them again.
