SELFISH,ONE SIDED POLICY!!Home Depot was my favorite place to shop. But,My husband made a purchase from Home Depot. A week later when we were ready to use the product, we realized that it was the wrong item. He paid cash and we no longer had the receipt. When we attempted to return the items we were told that we could not return items without a receipt unless we paid on a card. We explain that we pay with cash and were told there was nothing they could do. We asked to exchange and not get a refund. Once again we were told no, there is nothing they could do. I explained the situation, and asked to speak with a manager. I was told that I was speaking with a manager, Shara, and company policies had changed and I could only exchange for the same item. I once again in detail explained that this item does not help me And I needed a different items. Once again I was told too bad so sad we can’t help you. Well if this is your new policy I will began to shop elsewhere. Enjoy that $80, it will be the last you get from me! I’m not sure what has gone on to make you implement such a dumb policy however, good customers should not have to experience this type of treatment. Poor Customer Service typically results in lack of business. Lack of business typically result in closure and job loss. Remember that Home Depot!

Absolutely loved getting my royal oak charcoal, weber fire starter cubes. and Kingsford wood there. Great price will definitely be back when I get back in town.

Went here for appliances, they outsource the warehouse and delivery teams, which are not in sync. Had to request a refund which takes 5-7 business days. Worst experience ever for spending nearly $2,000 on a single purchase. Recommend going to Cohens if you need appliances.

I highly recommend this location! It’s clean with a copious number of team members ready and eager to assist! Associates walked us to the department to find the items we needed! Far better then their pseudo-competitor Lowe’s. Shop here!

As always, the sales associates were extremely nice and helpful. A lot of times I have no clue what I am looking for but I will show them a picture or have a item from something broken and they immediately know what I need. The patience they have with customers is beyond measure. Kudos to Mr. Nate Dogg and the other three associates that assisted us. Best HD store in the river region. Well-stocked, clean, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great place to buy a Christmas Tree too. I have rarely gone in this store and not been able to find what I was looking for. The one exception was an M10 metric eye bolt. I don’t think there are any of those at any retail store in South Alabama :).

I had a pricing problem. The cost of te item was incorrect. Instead of the cashier requesting a price check I had to do it myself. I had to go back and forth twice before the price was corrected. The Home Depot associate was not helpful at all. Just another reason why I dont particularly like going to Home Depot

Worst customer service in lawn center. Had to ask one of the guys to help unload 6 large bags of soil. You would have thought I asked to borrow a million bucks. While I had to push the flat ti the truck. No one offered to push. An elderly gentleman needed help. I saw no one was going to help him I told the two young guys to push my flat to my truck and unload the soil I was going to help the gentleman. I was thinking they would have gotten the hint and one would have helped the gentleman. That didn’t happen.I really don’t understand the lack of customer service

Never depend on them to order anything for you! Been told that they have ordered some blinds for me and have gotten 3 different pickup dates. I walked in the store and see “someone special order of blinds” sitting and those are the ones I needed. Which means they aren’t pulling my order from the get go. Yes I have gotten 50% off but that doesn’t make anything right if I haven’t got my product in hand that I reserved and paid for.

Better than Lowes, where no staff is ever around when you need help. HD had what we wanted, in and out.

Veterans or military do not use Home Depot! We have always been given a discount until today when we were told that they do not do discounts for building supplies. We bought gutters! We did repairs on our house a year ago and got all materials from Lowes and received a discount. We will give ALL our business to Lowes from now on.

This Home Depot is always well kept and organized. Ive shopped here for over a decade and have never had a negative experience.

Because I paid cash; The supervisor told me they COULD NOT reprint me a duplicate receipt. I had to push the issue just to get a manager (whom was very kind and helpful).

I am disappointed in the lack of service at the Chantilly HD. All I wanted was paint and the young man took one phone call after another while I waited. He never got back to me, so I left. Mgt really should look at placing an additional person in that department.

Visited both Montgomery locations today. Both were clean and well staffed. Michael, doors & windows at Chantilly, stood out. He really helped me with special ordering some doors. Very knowledgeable and pleasant.

They NEVER have what I need when I need it. I went in for a gate latch kit and Roundup for poison ivy. They didnt have the Roundup and there was 1 gate latch kit and it was opened with parts missing....per ush.

Everything is fine at Home Depot eventhough I dont know were everything is. I like Lowes better.

Helpful young man but overall lousy experience. The loaders acted as if they were doing me a favor loading 30 sheets of siding on my trailer. I told them how to load it and they did it their way anyway making the tie-down less secure.My biggest gripe is no military discount on lumber and building materials. I assure you that if Lowes had this particular siding in stock they would have gotten my $500.

I needed to make an exchange of a product and I didnt have the receipt for the purchase... there was no credit card information on file, so Im looking for a big disagreement. To my surprise the Customer Service Worker kindly gave me a store credit without any issue!!! I was very shocked and satisfied at the same time. Great Job Home Depot!!

In the last 3 days, I have visited Home Depot at least 6 times.5 times at your Eastchase location. I visited your location on Eastern Bypass as well as customer service horrible so bad I didnt ask another question this was a female working in appliances. I wanted to see purchase a stove, I then asked another caucasian older gentle if he could assist me in the bathroom section, he said yes once he finished assisting with an agent driving a forklift I said ok I will be looking at toilets. After about 30 minutes he showed up, walked past me to assist a couple that had just walked up. I thought let me leave this place went back to Eastchase. A young man named Alex assisted me from beginning to end. Got my toilet, got my stove a flawless process so flawless that Alex customer service was so awesome and carried enough weight to get youv5 stars despite the hideous Customer Service I received from your Eastern Bypass associates. It seems the place has been fixed up recently. My only complaint is that a lot of stuff is out of place from where the labels are. I understand it’s a large store, but a most seemed like some items were there in bulk as if a employee put it there without checking the label.

I find it is almost impossible to order online and pick up there... its hard to find someone to help but ever now and then you find a person who will then they do all they can. Many times I found they lack in keeping things stocked.

Unfortunately this Home Depot is not nearly as nice as ours in Prattville. Few staff on duty, had to hunt someone down for assistance, store is not as neat, clean, or well-stocked as Prattville. Prices do not match price stickers or even their own website. Will stay in our town for future Home Depot needs.

Theyre usually well stocked in whatever youre there for. I highly recommend you get the home Depot app for an easier shopping experience. You can search on the app for things and it will tell you what isle its located on.

I went to Home Depot Chantilly location because the internet showed they had the item I wanted. When I got there they did not but offered to get it for me. I paid for the item and the date was on the receipt when the item would arrive. I called that morning to confirm. It was not there. I called later in the day and it was not there. Customer Service states they ‘would find it’ and checked the computer “there is not one in the area”. I asked how they thought they may get one. “We can’t. There is not another”. “We can give you a refund”. Why would they take my money and say it will be here on a certain date and then on that date say there is not another one. I found another one myself at another store. I was speaking to the store manager after I had exhausted all the others from customer service. The manager informed me of a virus and the trucks are loaded with disinfectant and cleaning supplies. Welcome to the new world we live in. Adjust. She acted like she was the only person this virus was affecting!

I love this store particularly. Lowes is only if I have all the knowledge I need and dont want help finding the product. The other Home Depot is just run different. This one: theres always help, theyre always knowledgeable, a lot of time they offer additional ideas I never wouldve thought of.

Didnt have the items I was looking for

I’ve frequented this establishment several times now. I’m amazed that my experience is always the same. Employees smile and look to help before you say a word. They do all of the work for you. There is no searching for anything or heavy lifting. They will even give you a seat at their desk while researching or checking you out with your purchase. I prefer this one over other national brands. You won’t be disappointed.

I wish to recognize three associates:Associate #1: On 21 January 2020, I was in the Montgomery, Alabama Chantilly store (0813) to inquire about a product. I was a little concerned because the price of the item came off of its sale that afternoon and was once again beyond my reach. God was watching over me as I ran into the store manager (I believe his name is Lee) on his way out. What a stand-up guy! He had no idea of the thousands of dollars we spend in Home Depot when he decided to help this customer out. I really didnt think I would be able to take the item home that night yet, it is now placed in my garage where I can admire it.Associates 2 & 3: On the same night, as I was ready to check out, I was assisted by the two best, most caring and professional associates Ive had the pleasure of meeting in a very long time. They were manning the register on the construction side. I believe one of the associates was Felicia but I may be wrong. They all made it a pleasurable experience.

Went to Eastchase Home Depot today, we had the worst service there. Kesha in appliances avoid at all cost, very rude and not helpful at all !! She could care less if you did business with them or not !! Wasted trip😤

The last couple of times I have been they have only had one checkout lane open. They were strongly encouraging people to use the self checkout lanes. Today the self checkout lane was all that was open. I may be in the minority on this but I prefer human interaction at the checkout lane and honestly I feel like I am doing someone elses job when I use the self checkout. Whats next? Will we have to stock the shelves or unload the trucks? Whats the reason? To save 0.05% on the cost of a $10 item? Its not worth it. I would rather pay more at a mom and pop. For what its worth, the people I did interact with were polite and professional and it isnt their fault. It is managements decision and honestly its likely forced by corporate but regardless, I likely wont be going back any time soon. Home Depot, I see nothing wrong with having a self checkout lane for customers who prefer it but please dont force us to use it....ever. It shouldnt be required to scan and bag your own items. Let a smiling employee be the last thing we see when we leave. Not a computer screen.
