It shouldn’t take 3 visits and several phone calls for my Diabetic supplies! I am disabled . When I wait then deal with ladies who don’t know anything and tell me to come back tomorrow and call my Doctor, I leave frustrated!
Worst pharmacy ever!!! Super long lines, every time
The pharmacy is terrible. I went in here with an appointment on September 15 2021 at 6pm to get a vaccine and they let 3 walk-ins get service before me. Disrespecting my time. Then after I waited 30 minutes to get seen the pharmacist told me they dont accept Kaiser for vaccines. You could have told me that when I checked in.I dont care how polite you are, dont waste my time.
They say they are 24 hours but when I went at 5:30 am for a medicine I needed pretty urgently there was a sign up that said they would be back at 6:00 so I had to wait 30 minutes until someone came back
The pharmacy is the worst. They have delayed my mothers much needed post surgical pain medicine for over 24 hours through a series of incomprehensible mistakes, with no apologies or strenuous to make right. We still have not recieved her medication or intelligent help. Do not use if at all possible.
Says open 24/7. Drove a long ways to get here at 2am since we needed a last-minute Covid test. They were closed. A bunch of other people came up to the door about the same time, frustrated that it says “open 24 hrs” on the sign and online. But they’re not.
Incredibly rude check-out. Who seemed to have a much more positive demeanor as soon as she helped someone who wasn’t Latino. Will not be coming back.
Not actually a 24-hour store. Just went to try to get Advil and the store was closed. You might want to call ahead to make sure they are actually open.
Probably the worst pharmacy, first I get a message that it will be ready at 7:45, go there it’s closed at 6. Next day I am told it will be ready in 30 min, I go back in 2 hours still not ready. 3rd med they can’t give any reliable estimate when it could be ready. This is all common and emergency diabetes meds that every pharmacy carries. Forgot they also charge $250-$300 for 30 tablets. Go figure I have to pay close to $1000 for 3 meds and pretty much beg them to fill my prescriptions on time
Rip off!Bought earrings. No receipt gicen. Returned earrings a few days later. Only gave part of my refund. They could have found the purchase given I charged to a credit card. Absurd customer service!
Came to visit Monterey today..Needed Tampons for my wife at 5.00am, periods came early.. ran to CVS since it says open 24 hours.. it’s not. Period.
Not open 24 hours.
Great customer service. I was struggling with inputting a rewards phone number into one of the machines and one of the employees, Juan?, saw me struggling and actually set up my rewards account for me.
CVS PHARMACY, HAS BEEN A BEACON OF LIGHT IN THESE HARDTIMES. OUR LIVES HAVE BEEN TURNED UPSIDE DOWN AND THE STAFFAT CVS HAS STAYED IN TUNE WITH IT ALL. THEY ARE CARING, PATIENT,AND KIND. EACH PERSON ENTERING ITS DOORS ARE MADE TO FEELWELCOME AND APPRECIATED. COVID-19 IS A THIEF AND HAS ROBBEDUS OF SO MUCH. HOWEVER, COMPANIES LIKE CVS ARE DOING THERETHEIR BEST TO KEEP US SAFE AS WE SHOP AND BUY WHAT WE NEEDTO STAY HEALTHY AND ALIVE.KUDOS TO A GREAT STAFF AT MONTEREY CVS AND A SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO PHARMACIST ED GALLO, AND TO BAYLI, UP FRONT AT THE CHECK OUT DESK.THAT WHEN ONE NEEDS TO GO TO A STORE ETC, THEY WILL BE METWITH KINDNESS AND COURTESY.KINDNESS INTO IT. THE STAFF AT CVS HAS FROM THE VERY BEGINNINGOF THIS AWFUL VIRUS HAVE TAKEN A CARING AND POSITIVE APPROACH TO HOW CUSTOMERS ARE TO BE TREATED.
The service was good; the store was large; the lines were a little long.
I ordered 4 photos to be printed online, through their convenient photo service. I was thrilled at how easy it was and how I could pick up the photos, same day. Well I drove by 6 hours later and the store had a slow flow of customers. I stood by the photo counter for a few minutes until a lady came to help me. She looked for my photos and couldnt find them. She then informed me that they hadnt printed them, so shell do it now and it will only take a few minutes. I began to wait...and wait...and wait...she continues to help other customers and I can see that the photos are done. 10 minutes pass, so I pick up my stuff and get in line. Once I get to the register, I tell her that Im waiting on my photos. She checks on them and tells me that its out of paper. Really! So I wait some more while she messes with the machine. Once she fixes it she asks me to move aside so she can continue to help other customers while the machine prints my last photo. Finally!! I get my photos and Im out. 20 minutes later. So while the online ordering process is easy, dont be fooled-- the store is where the headaches begin. Wont be ordering photos again.
I LOVE this CVS!I went in today at 3:25 and they were packed with a line to the bathroom but I was lucky to haveThe Peeople @ the Pharmacy ring me up. I went in for LiGHT Blue Surgical gloves and they were on SALE 2 for 1. Thanks guys for another great visit!
Stood in line at the photo area for 30 minutes while they just cycled the cashier line constantly telling me theyd be over to help. After I was finally acknowledged they told me to stand in the other line.
Staff was awesome and the store was clean. As an added bonus my receipt was so long it doubled as a scarf on an unseasonably cool summers evening, which I appreciated.
So tired of CVS not looking at my chart when refilling prescriptions. I never know what Im going to get. The last time the Pharmacist apologized for not looking at my chart and changed it. Today, the same thing happened. They just decide what to substitute for you no matter what the prescription says. I dont like that. It has happened too many times. Not to mention it takes forever to wait in line and get a prescription. I am going to a more reliable Pharmacy @ Central Ave Pharmacy in Pacific Grove!
Violets es cute is all I know
Very kind and caring employees- made for a quick and easy shopping run
Everything youd expect from a CVS. Always well-stocked and quick at the register.
Complete pharmacy and store always with good deal
It is very easy for me, to give this CVS Store/Pharmacy, 5 stars. The staff in the Pharmacy, are just great. Efficient, caring and, clearly care about their customers. As one knows, its not funto have to go to a pharmacy as usually it means, that one, is notwell or, is in pain. The pharmacist, and the clerks, are efficient, kind and caring. The store is well kept, well stocked and the prices are good. one caneven, get some bargains. Checking out, is easy and fast. The clerksare always friendly and warm. I have never, seen a clerk, rude orimpatient, with a customer.I dont have names of employees (forgot to ask) however, I do havethe name of one employee, who was very kind to my 96 year oldneighbor, when I brought her in, to check out some make-up (yes, make-up). I was not much help to her so, I went looking for a sales clerk inthat Department. I found Daphne. I cant even begin to praise Daphne, enough. She was so kind and patient and helpful to this 96 year old woman. It is not easy to be old-one is truly, very dependent on the kindness ofothers. My neighbor, found that, the day I brought her to CVS and, I amso grateful to Daphne for having that sense of empathy, that makes upthe human heart. It is with regret, that I cant name the other employees in the Pharmacy, and the Front Counter, but, I think all of them deserve much praise. They make my trips to CVS, Monterey, always pleasant and worthwhile.(Must confess, that I dont wish to have to visit the Pharmacy, too often).and easy to see.I have never had a rude clerk, at this store. The employees at theCheck Out Counter, are friendly, efficient and really seem to enjoytheir job. That in itself, says so much for the working environmentat CVS on Lighthouse Ave.be a faithful customer for as long, as I live here.close to a Walgreens Drug Store. I was happy with Walgreens andfelt a bit disappointed when I moved, that Walgreens, was notthat close to home, in my new location.I started going to CVS instead and, I have no regrets.
Tried to run in for just a couple of items, super busy and nowhere to park. Staff was friendly and the store was like a typical cvs. Just tough to maneuver around.
UPDATE: Sorry TriCare users, CVS is no longer available for your covered prescriptions. Suggest Walgreens or Rite Aid, both currently on the TriCare plan (2017). Always liked CVS prescription care, hope TriCare and CVS get back together soon.
Woefully unresponsive to long lines.
Basic CVS... Maybe a bit on the small side and parking is not great (getting out of the parking lot can be a challenge due to extensive tourist traffic).
Good staff
Good for quick shopping
Friendly staff
Lot a parking
