Excellent service by all the team members. I ask Shawn for help and he directed me .I was looking for a specific tortilla and someone from grocery walk me to the item l wish knew his name .First impressions they went above and beyond!!! Thank you whole foods for hiring these wonderful people.

Great store, if a bit tiny. Despite that, they crammed a lot of quality products in the space. This makes the isles rather slim, but as long as there arent too many of those people society could do to cull from the herd, its not a bother at all.If youre one of those people that put your cart askew in the middle of the idle and also wander away from it... its not a very big store and I would ask you to be vigilant and considerate of others so they can also have a pleasant experience.

Smallest Whole Foods Ive ever visited... However, all the staples one would expect are all here, albeit in smaller, more compact display areas. Theres only 8 checkout lanes as well, but service is the same, and the location is great... Feels like a local neighborhood market.

It is a great store. Some of the items dont have price stickers and some do. The meat section is very limited, for example, there was no ground beef.

I went with my Sister. I decided to pick up some snacks. My apple turnovers were very fresh and yummy. My family also loves the 365 Salted Tortilla chips. A night and morning in heaven!😋

When there is no time to cook, and at the same time it is necessary to eat right, I turn to Whole Foods Market. They help me out. Delicious and healthy.

Great qualities goods especially 365 products, other brands are little pricey but worth if you get on time delivery at home, packaging was good for frozen stuff.

The employees are great and I like it because it’s whole foods, but I wish they managed their inventory better. So many times I go there and I can’t find multiple products I’m looking for, only because they are out of stock. The Whole Foods in west orange has a much more consistent selection.

And if you look closely, youll see the string of black hair that I found in my food the second I opened it up. Shouldve checked before I left the store or better yet Whole Foods should have better precautions/procedures in place to ensure the safety and cleanliness of their food that they service. Wont be coming back here

This is 3 stars and not one because todays checkout guy was friendly and nice (I didnt catch his name but something with Vs. I thanked him at the end for being great). Ive been disappointed with the last bunch of visits. The prices are not scanning correctly for same product, and it hasnt been fixed. The bakery folks dont pay attention to anyone standing there and just chat amongst themselves and then disappear in the back. Seems the checkout people (except the nice one) dont want to be there and dislike customers.

I bought sour cream instead of cream cheese by mistake so I tried to return it 2 days later. (Of course I kept it in my fridge and it was unopened) I spoke to the lady in customer service, I had my receipt on hand. At first she asked me what I would like to change it for but I said nothing just wanted to return it since I don’t need it. Then she told me they can’t do returns or exchanges because of Covid but if you really think about it…You don’t know if anyone in the manufacture company has covid or any delivery driver or anyone even putting the items back on the shelves. I have seen many men go to the bathroom and not wash their hands so I don’t know why they couldn’t take it and sanitize it if it made them feel better. Like I said it was unopened and cold. But anyhow since I didn’t need it I put it back on the shelves anyway :)

The staff is friendly and helpful. I had the pleasure of being served by Tyrell (I’m hoping I got his name right!) in the deli today. I was asking for really small quantities of sliced meat and he was very kind!

Their mushroom assortment is nit up to par with other locations and now I need to go somewhere else…

Definitely the worst Whole Foods I’ve been to. They’re smaller than average, which isn’t in and of itself a bad thing, but the limited selection is made worse by the fact that it just never seems that stocked. Products seem to be regularly sold out. I’ve also had bad luck with the produce (overripe moldy blueberries and mealy pears). If I need to splurge at this ridiculously overpriced store, I drive to the one in West Orange.

Very friendly and helpful staff super busy most of the time. Thats the only downside.

What a great shopping experience. Quality and freshness of food is unsurpassed. Employees are friendly and helpful. The parking lot is a joy. The entire property is run with acute attention to detail and customer service. Well done!

I prefer local stores but as far as big conglomerates goes, this is at least a nicer Whole Foods than the one in Wayne (IMO). The atmosphere is much more cozy and feels less sterile. The staff are always friendly and they have a good selection.

I loved the high quality produce, as well as the large variety of food stuff from different ethnicities. I also was warmly treated by the friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure I located everything I wanted. Regrettably I forgot to ask the name of the young man who helped me specifically, otherwise I would have given him a shout out😁. The only suggestion would be to have the cashier inform the guests that theres a charge for the bag! Lol there are still parts of Jersey that dont charge for bags so its a good idea to set that expectation.

Save yourself a lot of issues and drive ten minutes down the road to a different Whole Foods. I have been coming here for over a year now and have been shopping at Whole Foods for over 10 years. For every 1 good checkout experience there are 5 terrible ones. I have kept it to myself, but yesterday I was checked out by Michi and have had enough. The staff at check out could care less about packing your items well and act like you are bothering them when you forget your bags and they have to do it themselves. AND they are SO SLOW. Now, like I said there are a FEW great check-out employees, but not enough to bother shopping there.They STILL do not help bag reusable bags, even though every other Whole Foods in the area does. They say it is because the bags come from inside of our homes...but I come from my home and I am touching the food that you are ringing up and touching with GLOVES on as well. Like I said, laziest Whole Foods Ive ever been to.

Too much onion in the egg salad. It just taste like onion Mayo.

Produce is hit or miss...usually a miss in my experience. Ive downgraded my review from 3 years ago from a 4 to a 2. I bought some organic Bosc pears 2 days ago, cut one open and found it rotten inside. The same has happened in the past with oranges and I found worms in my raspberries in the past. Im done wasting money on produce here.

I come here for things that I cant find at shop rite. They are more pricey overall. The staff is fairly friendly and the place is always clean. Produce, fish and bakery are all fresh. I scored some black lentils and pink rice!

No hot coffee served.

I rarely go to this one, usually we go to either the Parsippany one, or West Orange, which are a lot larger, but I was in the area a Saturday evening in December. We found all we needed, its well stocked. We went in and out in no time! I guess that the advantage of being relatively small. Also parking lot had plenty spots open.

Quite smaller compared to many other locations throughout North Jersey. The selection is not as great. The produce is always fresh. The staff members are typically very kind and ready to help. I wish theyd expand this store because the location is very convenient for me.

As far as customer service Sandor was very polite he gave me everything I needed as far as information definitely a great employee much respect to him

I had to place a Thanksgiving order and make an Amazon return. The service could not have been better from Michi and Evelyn for helping with my order. The service counter was crazy busy but made time to take care of my return. Really nice store!

Just walked in to check it out. The seafood department has a foul smell. So I left.

The workers there are intolerably lazy. I always see them socializing and not paying attention to customers. I asked one worker where they kept baguettes and in response thought I made up that word. Its a baguette and you work at Whole Foods! You should know what a baguette is! They hire dumb people here.

I shop here when I need specific foods like organic bison or select vegetables or seasoning that is not found during a normal grocery trip for me.

A bit on the small side, but an excellent spot, none-the-less. Extremely fresh produce & cheese sections. Always great avocados. Their olive bar is my favorite around. Their house brand white sandwich bread is surprisingly fantastic. Meat is by far the highest quality around without going to an actual butcher. Bakery items are just so damn good. And with their recent acquisition by Amazon, the prices have come down to a much more reasonable level. Maybe not the best place to do a full shop, but fantastic for fills or extras. Like most Whole Foods, its the people who make it great, and these people are great. Always friendly, always helpful, always willing to walk all the way around the store to find what youre looking for. Highly recommended.

Smaller Whole Foods but has a lot of variety. Good bulk selection and very fresh organic produce. Carries the 365 brand of distilled water which not all WFs do. Good bakery with great no sugar rustic whole wheat bread. Parking can be difficult, best times to park early or late in the day. Open daily 8AM - 10 PM. Theyve unfortunately discontinued a whole bunch of fast selling customer favorites and it doesnt look like they are ever coming back. What happened to Lightlife plain soy tempeh? Engine 2 Ancient grains sprouted tortillas? Food For Life Ezekiel sprouted tortillas? Edward & Sons veg snaps crackers? And many other items. Would like to see some more of other health food brands, not just their 365 brand. West Orange WF is much better stocked. Still shop the Montclair store frequently but its changed.Update: One star off for allowing their refrigeration contractor, AAA Refrigeration, to chain smoke in the parking lot and throw his lit cigarette butts on the ground.

I’m hoping overtime with management’s awareness, the quality of service at Montclair will improve over time.The food there is decent but employees work there are rude to customers and look like they are not interested in working and can’t wait to go home. Cashiers dont look at you when they talk to you and one employee raised her voice and rolled her eyes as she instructed me to go around the aisles to line up. It’s been a while this market has bad customer services...Definitely not a pleasant place to be at and management should probably be informed and they should try to make changes.

I love shopping here! Its a bit smaller than other whole foods but has everything I need. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I wish I had a million dollars. Id buy the whole store! Every time I shop there, I find something new to become more healthy. Love this place!
