Monroe hardware is a great little hardware store. They usually keep the best of tools and everything they sell. I love how they are quick to ask if you need help finding anything and are very knowledgeable! I will always be back!

Compared to Lowes or Home Depot, this store is much smaller with a much smaller inventory. There are only two registers for check out. It offers hardware, livestock feed, paint, weaponry, clothing, live plants, and household items and it has great parking.

Staff are friendly and helpful, and they are masked, but few customers were masked. To my knowledge the Governors mask mandate is still in effect.

I dont shop there either everything in there cost more than a house

Upon entering the store I was assisted immediately by an employee that took me directly to the section of the tools and parts I needed. Quick stop, awesome!

I was amazed that they had a product no one else in town seemed to have!

Cool little store. Some items seem out of stock but they gave other specialty items that others big box stores just dont carry.

Not very friendly, it has a lot to offer but personally I wont use it much.

I shop here all the time . Love the young lady who often helps me, especially in the horse area. The older woman at the cash register isnt happy or very pleasant, but we all have issues. I love their selection of seasonal merchandise, like an old country store. ♥️

Its where I go to to inspect the empty spot on the shelf on the way to lowes or Southern states.

Excellent service! Mackenzie Tucker is very knowledgeable about horse nutrition and completely understood my concern when I decided to make changes to my feeding program. She listened to me explain each individual horse, their age, and job. She showed me the options and then recommended two different feeds. I am now feeding two of my horses Purina Ultium and the other four are on Strategy Healthy Edge. Not only did Mackenzie help me that day in the store but she has followed up to make sure all the horses are still doing well. The horses are doing very well and Im happy with the changes Ive made. I really enjoy shopping in a store with such knowledgeable and caring people like Mackenzie.

The Massey Ferguson dealership where I work always gets little odds and ends from here. Good quality stuff. I highly recommend the kitchenette brooms. Plus they still sell fluorescent bulbs... in bulk.

I enjoy going to this place. Theyre like an old-time general store they have a little bit of everything except food. I like to just walk the aisles and see what all they have. The staff is always helpful in answering any questions I have.

This is a great store with a wide selection of merchandise, from tools, to farm implements, to Yetis and Green Eggs and prices are good to boot. They do a great job.

Monroe Hardware has been a part of Monroe for many years. I recall trips to the store with my father as a young boy, and I am now 70. One would think that a business that has been around that long would have grown extensively. That doesnt seem the case. I believe the store has a retail division and a wholesale division with the wholesale being the bulk ok their business. The retail store is not large and more akin to what you might find in a small Ace Hardware store. The prices are higher than what you will find ay Lowes Hardware and the selection is small in comparison. If you are looking for a quick trip for small items, you will be fine. But you will same money by going to the big box stores.

Its no big box store, but theyve usually got what you need to get you going and they feel more down home and friendly than large competitors.

Tons of useful stuff. From home goods, lawn and garden to feed. Better prices on some things than Tractor Supply. Some things are a little pricey.

A great place for local shopping, and has everything you would need. I feel like asking someone (young people) for something is simular to asking someone in Wal-Mart, they just point and get back to work.
