We purchased a new shower from JFD for $9800. After waiting 3 months for the install, here are all of the issues we currently have with this new shower: shelves are not level and put in the wrong places, footrest is not level and put at the wrong height, the footrest also is the wrong material and has a nick in the fabric, missing ceiling panel and they left a nick in our ceiling, the caulking at the base of shower and floor is messy, the door is missing and waiting for parts, and they lowered our shower head about 3 inches which it is now lower than the homeowner and they refuse to fix it.

All I can say is WOW what an excellent job John Harden and his assistant Alec did on our master shower install and bathroom. It is just beautiful and we love it!! John was very professional, kind, neat and organized. Very diligent, excellent workers. Thanks JFD for such a wonderful quality product!

In my opinion they done what was agreed to. The contractor who put the windows in did a great job and picked all of the trash up and made sure I was satisfied before he left. Great job in my opinion. I would recommend them. Getting them to price my doors now.

Highly recommended! Very nice bathrooms now thanks to Scott! Very reasonably priced with lifetime warranty! No grout to scrub so the walls in the bath/showers will stay clean & won’t need replacement like tiles do since from my experience since grout can erode. We’re talking early 90s grout & I’m no expert so I don’t know if the typical grout concoction these days comes with a lifetime warranty. I chose the white marble look with grey accent line marks. Looks fabulous & like a spent a fortune which I didn’t! A nice million steps up from the standard all white typical cheap shower/baths that are common for almost the same price! We had the sales manager, Ricky, come out to our house to give us an estimate regarding screening in our back porch and adding ez breeze windows to our existing screened in porch. The only thing positive about the experience was that he showed up. Because of the surge in home renovations, we were just happy to get someone here and we were ready to go forward after getting the estimate. We must have called his personal cell phone at least 10 times to tell him we wanted to give put down our deposit to secure our spot on the schedule.after not getting a return phone call back I called the office to actually see if he was still employed there.he sure was.i was told he was in a meeting and he would call me right after. That never happened. A few more phone calls to him after that and still no replies. I want back to my search and what a blessing that this company dropped the ball and is so unprofessional and unresponsive and expensive !! We wound up hiring Todd Ackerman with Express Screen in Charlotte NC. What a refreshing experience. He picked up his phone when I called! He came out right after to give us an estimate, which was 10,000 cheaper than Joyce!!! So, thanks for dropping the ball Joyce.We are so happy with Todd Ackerman. What a great guy! Highly suggest you use him and stay away from this company.

Joyce replaced several windows in my home in 2017 and I had them replace the rest of them this week. Windows look great and David Sanchez did a fantastic job installing. He is very kind and very conscientious about keeping my home clean and protected from damage as they worked between the muddy outside and coming inside. Fantastic window and great install team!

From the original consult to the installation I cannot express how professional Joyce sales and installation teams are. I have to give 5 stars to our installer Eddie Nichols and his partner Ben. They kept us abreast of their arrival times, an estimated time frame for job completion. They were meticulous in the installation and clean up. This is the second (1st was windows) job we have used Joyce for and we plan to use them for the rest of our windows.

We had a walk in shower done and it looks great just like the pictures the contractor Scott was awesome really awesome he did a great job and took his time doing it because I asked him please not rush through the job I wanted it to look like what I saw in the pictures he was very pleasant, he did it without disturbing me because I work from home and he was very professional. Once this first bathroom is paid for we want Scott again if he is available and if not we will wait for him to become available to do a walk in shower in our master bathroom. I will let this company put up ads in my yard to let my neighbors know about this company and put the work he did on our shower in this company advertisements. Just want to say Scott did us right.

Eddie and Ben converted an upstairs porch to a sun room by adding windows. They did an outstanding job. So professional, meticulous, and exacting in their work. The sunroom looks like an original manufacture job.The windows( with screens) slide both ways so you can use it to let in fresh air. The color match of the windows and trim was spot on to match our house siding color. Loved the design work by JFD to lower a wall and make the windows look consistent across the room. A++++++ job by Eddie and Ben.

The workers did an amazing job around the master bathroom tub. I was very pleased with the quality of their work from beginning to end. I highly recommend this company to handle any of your needs!

He answered all my questions and only took 3 days to install. I am just thrilled with my new shower that has barn doors, seating and shelves for easy access to shower products. We had JFD replace our windows about 10 years ago and we have been very happy with their product and their service. A casement window handle broke and they came out with a new handle, no questions asked, and no extra cost. So when it came time to replace our front door we called them. We got a Provia french door which is absolutely beautiful. The price was competitive as we got an estimate for the exact product at another company. But because JFD stands behind their products and we had great experience with them before, we chose Joyce. Instillation day was on time, efficient, and the 2 man crew cleaned up. Not to mention they were very friendly, and I also remember the window installers being very friendly. Great job Joyce and when we need more work done, we will be calling Joyce, of Berea, OH!

It took 4 months. The installation crew was exceptional. Paul was great. Installed wheelchair assessable shower. Many problems with getting coordinated. Installation took a day and a half.

I had a patio added to the back of my house. Joyce did an excellent job. They have their own crews working. The structure had to build on an existing short patio of 10 feet wide and 5 feet out from house. They added 12 feet out from house and 26 feet for width of house . They blended in the original that ended up looking like everything was the same. It took them less than a week and all drawings and permits they took care of. I would have them back for any project- no headaches for me and done legally!!

Joyce Factory Direct has replaced a number of our old windows at our cottage and it has made a world of difference with outside noise, east use and most of all, easy to clean from the inside. No more outside ladders. We still have a few more to replace and I like the fact the make their own windows so they will match, even 4 years down the road. Plus the installers are knowledgeable and clean up after themselves. Have already referred them to family.

We love our new windows from Joyce Factory Direct. We feel we got a fair price for the number and size of the windows we replaced. The only issue was with the large bowl window...it took quite a while to get it measured, made to specs and installed. Aside from that, we were pleased with the service.

Extremely difficult people to deal with one person doesn’t know what the others doing well never called again. Went through several texts saying they could do something to find out they couldn’t. Then was re-contacted and said a virtual visit would be set up if interested because of the virus only to be called the day before to be towed virtual meeting was not able to happen and still wanted to send a representative to our house. Obviously they don’t care about their employees or the people they may infect. Look elsewhere I know we are!

Joyce Factory Direct replaced my sliding patio doors which faces the west and we get the afternoon sun, which is brutal. Our AC would run constantly to keep the temperatures down. Now with our new sliders, our AC stays at a constant temperature and we dont have a problem anymore with the kitchen being hot! Plus, the sliders prior were not insulated properly and the installers went beyond to make it right! Great products! Great company. I highly recommend.

We had a walk in shower installed. Work began on June 28, 2019 and they finished up on July 1, 2019. The shower looks great and works great.We would use Joyce again in the future. Nice people to work with.

I had windows (with a 20 year warranty) installed throughout my entire home January 2017. Weekend before last I noticed a problem with one of the windows while clearing out my house. I have since called the company 5 times (3 of those times were today). Everyone I speak to either transfers me to a voicemail, takes my number and says someone will call me back, or says they will try to call me back themselves. I keep getting excuses about how they are working through management issues in NC, so they can better assist customers. Well what about the customers they already have. I am still paying for these windows....am I not a customer? Like the people at Joyce, I too work and am trying to address this during everyones work hours. The lack of commitment or even seemingly concern/interest, not to mention attitude with my frustration is further frustrating and the customer service has been atrocious. Im hoping this post gets some attention so I can get the help I need.

Joyce Factory Direct replaced our old windows at the lake house and not only do they completely give the house a facelift, but they are easy to use and the installation process was great! We love the new windows and highly recommend the company.

They are not co operate

I had my windows done by Joyce and was pretty impressed by the install and the windows. However, I pushed my luck and ordered a door. Got a call saying the door had been delivered. They made an appointment, but didnt have the door *and* the screen door so they wanted to come two times. When I refused, they didnt call back. When I called a week and a half later, I was told the door just came in. Then I was told when they would show up, didnt ask if it was convenient or would I be home, just when I could expect them. I told them that time didnt work for me since I had a prior appointment. So, they wanted to install the door while I was away! Apparently, it was more important to work me into *their* schedule than find a time that worked for the customer, me. Finally, the guy said he would talk to the installer and come up with a time. Saturday morning, I got a call and the installer said he was on his way. Good thing I didnt want to do anything else on my weekend, right? Was an hour late. Now, as I sit in my living room with the doors closed, I can smell him smoking in the other part of my house. Ugh. From a pretty happy experience to one of the worst experiences.Update: Had a visit from two reps from the company who assured me that all my concerns had been addressed and how they had been addressed. Looked at the installed door carefully and explained how things that I thought were bad were really ok and why they were ok. They listened to my concerns and were careful to hear me out without being condescending. I was favorably impressed. I couldnt ask for more re: making me happy as a repeat customer. So Im changing my review from 2 stars to 4.

Had a estimate for siding and windows on Friday the man that came out asked i would be financing or paying cash. I told him I would be paying cash to which he responded are you sure this is going to be expensive. I said I was aware and that money wasn’t an issue then he said it’s funny the people that say money isn’t an issue it always ends up being an issue... I should’ve asked him to leave then.

Salesman was extremely unprofessional and prices are way to high. He banged up our walls and trim with his BROKEN sample window and tried to say the marks were already there and he didnt do it. I watched his broken sample window fall open and him walk said window into our white trim (his window was black)I do highly recommend world of windows of the Carolinas. No pressure, no sales pitches, family owned and operated.

We made an appointment on Wednesday afternoon for them to come Saturday, Thursday they called 42 times! So we called them and ask them to cancel the appointment and to stop calling, the very next morning on Friday they called 3 times while I was at work. We called again Friday afternoon asking them not to show up Saturday morning.... we were told it was too late and they are coming either way!

The windows are nice and will help with heating cost and look pretty.

After a poor prebuild experience, they started late. The company putting in the footers didnt know they needed permits. The whole process took longer than expected. After many issues with finishing the room, we had rain water leaking into the room soon thereafter. The expert on installation installed the flashing/roofing incorrectly. Finally, it was finished. The room continued to have an issue with the electric and finally the company said they would not come out and take a look at it. The personnel at the company changes constantly, the owner is completely hands off, and no one wants to do whats best for the customer. The new project manager blames the previous project manager and no one wants to take responsibility. The qualit of the room is ok, but I would look for a local, more reliable company.

As a former employee, they were very DECEPTIVE and DISHONEST with my co-worker and I. They DENIED owing me wages and I had to get a state investigator from Department Of Labor involved before they ADMITTED owing me earned wages. Im writing this because I believe this shines light into this companys way of dealing with customers (my director would mock customers). Hopefully, this review can warn future consumers about the dishonest practices of this company. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!
