If I could give this place no stars I would. Three years ago started our troubles. After spending 1500 dollars on a mass air flow replacement our brand new 2017 Toyota Tundra which was under warranty at the time. Remember we bought the truck with the after market air flow on it still came with warranty. We had Van Trow Toyota replaced due to them saying the air flow was bad. Paid in full 1500 dollars. Our truck immediately started acting up upon returning to Toyota they stated we needed convertors which they could not handle because again out of warranty. 30,000 miles on vehicle. After 3 years several shops later can you imagine what our problem was the mass air flow. According to the shop that finally fixed our issue after spending thousands more out of pocket the original problem remained from the mass air flow not properly being installed. I contacted the service manager named Leslie who spoke to me extremely rude just to notify him if he could assist in the cost or at least say I apologize all this has happened to you however I was greeted with a I dont care if we tore your truck up or not attitude. Please do not do business with these people they are extreme crooks will over price you on parts and cause you to spend a fortune on your vehicle. No one should have to spend the thousands I have on a brand new vehicle especially with 30,000 miles on the truck.
Worst service Dept I’ve ever dealt with. Debbie is rude, unprofessional and doesn’t know how to handle situations at all. Car was purchased at another dealer and 2 times in a row, asked for payment when it should have been billed to a 3rd because of a PM plan that was purchased. Scheduled a week out, called to confirm and made sure I selected the proper service, I was asked what I selected vs being told. Why would I ask if I knew? Had a recall on the car, and part wasn’t ordered, no hey we’ve ordered it and will call when it’s in. After telling me I couldn’t take the car without payment, they boxed in so I wouldn’t take the car. 83 dollar invoice. The hang up? Ole Deb misspelled the email address for the payment verification. Unreal. I’ll never give them business again. Ever. Disgrace to Toyota.
Bought a new 4 runner pleased with vehicle service needs some work told me to make app for service and then told me that it may take 2 hours to change my oil depending on how busy they are I feel like they should be busy on my car at my app time
So far they have been great!
Service is quite rude...they dont greet you or let you know your car is finished. Ive been here 3 times for service and yesterday will be my last time getting service at van trow, will be going to some other toyota dealership for service in the future.
3 hours for an service, not even an oil change. They made it sound like they werent busy and I would be in and out when i called. The people have been rude from the second i got here. Go on down to Karl Malone in Ruston and get MUCH better service.
Great service, and will go above and beyond to correct mistakes.
Tuesday, May 11, 2021- 12:00PM EST_ One-star rating is on point. Researched vehicles online prior to calling with questions to be asked. Gate Keeper was not hospitable at all and the used vehicle service department weren’t any different. Two questions were asked (vehicle related) before the phone was hung up in my face. Thank you Van-Trow Toyota for showing the lack of southern hospitality and common courtesy. I’ll never visit this facility and will share this experience without hesitation. The purpose for the phone call was to identify a sales representative, schedule a zoom meeting and begin negations in order to pursue a full cash offer prior to an on-site visit while traveling there from the Mid-west. Please note that first impression and customer service begin and ends with your people.
Cody and Aubrey were amazing at helping me with the information I needed. I was from out of town and needed assistance right away and they took care of me and i now feel safer and better when traveling through this area because they will take care of me! Highly recommend them!
Took them 2 weeks to change five studs on the rear tire of my FRS and once I went to pick it up the tire was flat..
Got a great deal on a 4Runner and everyone was awesome
They have always been very friendly and helpful.
Van Trow Toyota has done right by me been using them since 1983. (Yeh, Im old) No complaints with my Tacoma and service. Everyone Ive dealt with were professionals, including buying my truck there.
I had to stop and see my ole work buddies
Spent over 11k on getting a new transmission and some suspension parts they kept the car for a total of 4-5 months and everytime I called service manager Debbie acted like she didn’t want my business. After they finally fixed my truck I got it back with a fender well missing and they wanted to charge me $883 for it even though they either lost it or broke it they were willing to pay half but they are less than $150 at other Toyota locations. NEVER EVER GO TO THIS TOYOTA SERVICE. Drive the extra 30 minutes and go to toyota of Ruston. They are super rude especially the service manager Debbie.
No pressure sales and an enjoyable buying experience.
Just purchased a new RAV4 Hybrid here last week. Very pleasant experience! Special thanks to Richard and Darryl for such great communication!
If I could post a 0 I would. Very displeased with the body shop. I put my car in shop for repairs, was called after 9 days and told car was ready. Picked up car and while driving it the guard under bumper came a loose. When I got car home I discovered several items were missing along with items being moved from console to glove compartment. I have never felt so violated from a place of business. These were items of value including all change was taken. I will NEVER use Vantrow for anything. I have bought cars from here and that’s why I decided to use them. Not only have you lost a body shop customer but sales customer as well.
Great and friendly staff!!! Process was quick and easy thanks van trow
Jessie Webb is an awesome car salesman!!!!
I could have been killed! I had my brake pads replaced at this dealer. I had a catastrophic brake failure when the brake pads came loose later that day. I was travelling at high speed when this occurred and took more than a thousand feet to stop, stopping just before an intersection. I would coast then lock up, then coast some more.Another dealer repaired the brakes and noted a bearing problem. Van Trow compensated me for the brake repair & some expenses but stuck me with the $1400 repair bill for the bearing problem. The service manager said he has regular bearing problems with these vehicles (2017 Highlander) which is BS. Not the level of service expected at a TOYOTA dealer.
These people lie and are lazy, if you’re black don’t go here
Bought ToyotaCare with our new vehicle so visits to Van Trow Toyota are quick and easy. Make an appointment, drop off your vehicle, get a text, pick up your vehicle, done. Nothing to sign or pay. No wait for someone to ring you up. Love it.
I did not receive my discount
Great service, had a recall on my car,did not wait long, there thouroly disinfect after work done
Customer service needs improvement. You may need to sell Toyota to Ryan Chevrolet too This place needs to close down.i wish their was another place we could take our trust. . If they have a four star rating they must got somebody to do it.
Bought a truck May 23, 2020. The sale of the truck went smoothly enough..the issue came after the sale. After multiple calls and messages on FB as of July 29 I still do not have tags. My temp tags have been expired. I have been told no less than 3 times they are in the mail and once was told they were going to overnight them....still no tags and no offer to redo the temp tag to a later date. So, this truck has been parked going on the second week....needless to say the service after the sale is the worst experience I have ever had to date.
Always good service.
We were traveling out of state listening to a CD during our trip. This morning we could not get any volume on our radio. We tried troubleshooting using the Toyota manual. Nothing worked. We found Van-Trow Toyota Dealership in Monroe, LA, and turned into the service area. My husband headed toward the building. He was met outside by Renee. She asked if she could help him, and he told her our problem. She immediately came to our car and fixed the radio volume. She was very friendly, professional, and knew exactly how to correct the problem. We could not have found better service anywhere. Thanks Renee and Van-Trow Toyota Dealership!
My car went to the van Troy Toyota collision center for repairs after I hit something in the road. They replaced my radiator and bumper and other items under my hood. My car continuously ran hot so I took it back for the second time. They informed me that the radiator was a bad and replaced it. Took it back up there because my car continuously was leaking coolant and they told me it was my coolant reservoir. The coolant reservoir was replaced and the car continuously to leak coolant. I took my car to the Chevy dealership which I should have done from the get go and it was a hose that ran from my turbo that needed to be replaced. It’s amazing how they were so quick to say it was everything else but never really did a dye test to see where the leak was coming from. Fast forward 3 months later my radiator leaking bad extremely bad. I took my car to the sears in Baton Rouge because that’s where I was in the middle of traffic when it happened called Toyota collision center simply asked if my part came with a warranty and was placed on hold then was told to call my insurance company! This is by far the worst customer service and auto body shop I have ever came into contact with. I have never been treated so poorly after spending my $1800 with them to have my car repaired! If your a woman of color especially run your opinion or whatever you say will not be taken serious!
Recently I was involved in a wreck that totaled out my previous truck. Being on the market again I was shopping at every single dealership within at least 50 miles of my house. I pulled in at around 615pm to just look over the Toyota Tundra knowing nothing about the vehicle or the maker, the dealership was set to close at 7pm and although the salesman knew I wasnt able to purchase anything that day he stayed late until 730-745pm to make sure all my questions were answered. Few days later after the insurance company finally got business settled so I could purchase a new vehicle I returned bringing my wife so she could also look at the Toyota Highlander. That day again I worked with the same salesman, Jason Ford, and ended up purchasing two vehicles. Jason and the entire sales team worked very efficiently which included finding and going to get the Tundra with the options I wanted. Jason made sure my wife was 100% comfortable with the choice in vehicle she made and even offered to go and order a vehicle if they didnt have something specific she may be interested in on the lot. Again he worked very hard to make sure we got top dollar for her old car trade in and we certainly did. My wife is very happy with her 2015 highlander and a happy wife is a happy life right?! Overall my experience was perfect. They even offered a quiet office for my wife and 3 month old to go when he was napping if wanted. Ive never purchased two vehicles in one day and typically wouldnt ever consider it knowing buying one is enough hassle but again the staff, salesman, managers and everyone involved well exceeded all of our expectations. I wouldnt hesitate in purchasing another vehicle or bringing my vehicles in for service and dont believe anyone else should either!
Worst body shop experience ever . A two week job that started in January lasted till March 21, and I still had work that didn’t get completed . State Farm ended up sending one of there adjusters out to write up the rest of the needed repairs . I took my truck to them because they are a State Farm approved shop and they had four stars on their reviews . Hopefully I can save someone the headache by bringing their star level down a notch .
Typical wheel and deal car dealership. Getting cars running good enough to seem ready for purchase then they fall apart after a week. Told me car had been fully serviced and completely lied to my face about it. Horrible experience and would not recommend to anyone. Stay away at all costs.
Purchased a new vehicle today from Van Trow Toyota. Was in and out in 3 hours tops. Sales and Finance personnel was excellent. 100% impressed and would highly recommend giving them a shot at putting anyone in a new or used vehicle. Thanks Eddie Floyd for making today so easy and convenient.
A great place to go if you want to waste your money... they “couldn’t” determine what the specific issue was with my headlights (they go off intermittently while driving) after 3 hours on my appointment day, and recommended that I pay upwards of $2500 to ‘see if that fixes the issue’.Service Department was unprofessional, and very unhelpful.
Normally very good service had oil changed and tires rotated. They failed to put oil cap on they had to call us to return! Then after we got almost home which is 20 miles we noticed they failed to put a sticker with oil change information!
Good sample of vehicles. Sales people are knowledgeable. Good service center. Looking at a 3rd Toyota from this dealership.
My wife and I went to this company as we had bought a Scion in the past from a Toyota dealer, elsewhere, and had been well pleased with the vehicle and service. The salesman, although new, did an excellent job of getting the information into our hands that we needed to buy a Highlander. The financial consultant did a great job helping us to consider several options for the purchase, as well as to let us play with a cool electronic planning pad on his desk! All-in-all this is the best experience with purchasing a vehicle we have had over 40 years of buying vehicles. Ask for Max, he wont steer you wrong or pressure you into something you dont want or need. Josh will keep the numbers straight, understandable, and might let you play with his planning pad.
Todd always takes good care of me. He is always honest about what needs attention and what can wait. I live in Houston and have NO problem driving 5 hours for an oil change. Customer service always exceeds expectations.
Had an appointment but still had a pretty good wait! Overall I think its a great place. Candace in the service department is the absolute best employee!
Seamless transaction! Professional sales team makes it easy to do business and save $$$. I love my new RAV4 hybrid. Thanks, Renae and Rusty!
Changed my oil and a couple of filters, runs good, just like new, thank you Jesus and for giving me a wonderful daughter. All praises to you.Van Trow Toyota.Didnt take long either.
Great customer service and same day service in repair dept. Wonderful ladies!
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. First off, they had my vehicle for repair from a wreck and gave us an estimated time of 2 weeks. We didn’t get the vehicle back until about a month and a half passed, and that’s after putting us off day after day. Finally got the vehicle back and noticed the bumper had been hit. They claim it happened at the tow yard. Next, a had a tire with a leak, everything was good with the tires when they got the truck. Come to find out someone tried to plug the tire on the sidewall (which you can’t do) to fix what they had done. They claim no one tried to repair my tire even though the plug is new and we haven’t had the truck in a month in a half and never had to repair/replace any tire on our vehicle. The service department is very unethical. Please don’t waste your time!!
This dealership should be ashamed of the way they treat their customers. The salesmen will lie and tell you whatever you need to hear to get you to purchase and then service department will completely take advantage of you. Instead of trying to make a bad situation better they said, “Well you can just go get your money back and leave.” Who in the world runs a business like this? It’s an absolute atrocity that people spending their hard earned money are treated this way.
Mr Bradshaw (salesman) was very pleasant and met with me to make repairs.
Great service and parts dept
The staff wasnt very friendly especially one guy name Mike. I called to talk to Joe and he got ugly and hung up on us. The ladies at the booths were very Awesome. I only tell the truth and this guy must just been having a bad day.
Excellent dealership. Not pushy and very friendly. Daughter actually paid a few hundred more just because she was treated so good
Ive been dealing with Van Trow for yrs and they still treat me like family, they are my family. Please yall, give them a chance to let them treat you like family, you want regret it.
Very friendly people but high miles and high prices
Awful people there. I had an appointment for 9:45am for an oil change and tire rotation. I arrived on time and did not get my truck back at 1:15pm. They also used conventional oil when I specifically requested synthetic, and on top of that chewed up/stripped the bolts on my Fuel rims (a very expensive rim)
Excellent staff in the service department.
I buy all my vehicle here. I love the staff in all the departments. Service is very knowledgeable and can get you fixed right up.
I started having issues with the secondary air check valve on my 2010 Toyota tundra, after replacing the part, 2 weeks later, I started having the same issues again, I researched problems with the secondary air check valve, but didnt see a recall for my vin number, I scheduled a diagnostics test for my check engine light, turns out the problem I was having, was a recall and covered under my warranty, which I didnt know I had, they took care of it at NO CHARGE to me...... I LOVE ALL THE MECHANICS!!! THANK YOU!!!!
Opens early, quick service, nice coupons, free wifi connection at the lobby
The Van Trow Team not only gave us great customer service when purchasing our Tundra, but also went way beyond making sure we knew everything about our vehicle prior to leaving the lot. Great Experience!
Friendly service.
Was excited about a pre owned vehicle they had and drove an hour and a half to purchase it for my daughters first vehicle. I called the salesman and he was very friendly and he knew exactly what vehicle I was coming to see. When I got there the car was sitting on the lot with two tires that wouldnt even pass inspection and the battery was dead when I went to drive it. Then the salesman expected me to pay full sticker price for a used vehicle and wasnt willing to even negotiate. It was not a very impressive first experience. Considering I drove an hour and a half to see the vehicle and I was driving a brand new Toyota I would at least expect them to make an effort to earn my business. But they didnt seem to care one but whether I purchased a vehicle or not.
Such sweet people here at Van-trow. They gave great service, and we are going to pick up two cars we bought from them!
Always great service and very efficient in getting my vehicle taken care of each time
Great place to purchase a vehicle, friendly salespeople with a knowledge of the vehicles they are selling and great service department...must make thats the next place to purchase ur Toyota vehicle.......
Good people weather your looking to buy a car or just get yours serviced or fixed.
Fairly decent service dept. Had a couple of issues but were resolved with further discussion.
Excellent price, great communication, and a quick and easy purchase. Thanks Richard and everyone else that that made this a painless transaction!
Great staff and friendly service. Thanks for the new wheels.
THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD. Wish I could give it no stars A lady, named Renee was so rude and mean. By the time I left, I felt bullied, belittled, intimidated, and beatened down. I honestly wanted to give up. I was not respected and was not taken seriously at all. I wanted a 2015 used Toyota Camry. It was listed as $17,995 but she told me it was $18,900. I told her I would offer her $14,500 (hoping that she’ll negotiate with me and meet me at $16,000-16,500). “OH NO HONEY, you ain’t giving me no offer, I’m giving YOU an offer!! We running a business here, I’ve been working for 15 years, and I ain’t finna let you give us a run for our money baby. We not finna loss no money over you. If the people down the street offering you a better deal, take your business down there.” I got up and left. Drove two hours to Alexandria, for a brand new 2018 Toyota Camry for $23,000 at Walker Toyota. Go see Mrs. Sheena. She’s worth the two hour drive.
I just waited 4.5 hrs for routine Toyota care for my car when they said it should take 2. The girl also asked me if I wanted a couple other things done that were overdue. I asked her to quote me a total. I was shocked to see the final bill was $137 more than the quoted total. When I brought that to the clerks attention, she said I quoted you the amount without the oil change and tire rotation (which was what I was originally there for). I then stated I felt deceived into getting more things done due to a shady inaccurate total. They gave me a 10% discount when they noticed they had made a mistake in trying to scam someone that can do simple math, but regardless I feel they purposefully lied to me about the grand total to get me to agree to more. This is a slow and even worse a dishonest dealership. I am very displeased with their service and do not recommend them. Will not be going back.
Not exaggerating, this was literally the worst service experience Ive ever had in my life. I scheduled an early appointment to get serpentine belt replaced, oil changed, tires rotated (I mentioned on the phone I wanted all 5 tires rotated, they said fine). Arrived morning of appointment at 745am, first customer there, no other customers for a good 20-30 minutes. I informed service rep I had an appointment. They asked my name and why I was there, I said I had an appointment,. They didnt look any info up, just asked again why I was there, what I wanted done, I informed them again exactly what I wanted. They took the keys, showed me to waiting room. I proceeded to work remotely via their wifi for the next 3 hours until the wifi cut out. While I was waiting, I heard several other customers approached by service reps talking about various things they looked at and needed replaced, quite a few of which required to be on a lift (this will be important later). I walked to the service desk to ask about the wifi and while there I saw my vehicle sitting in the parking lot. Great, its ready, right? No, theyre waiting for a lift to be available. What work was done already, given Ive been there 3 hours? Only the oil change and tire rotation. How did they rotate the tires without a lift? Even if they did have some other way to do it without a lift, how did the other customers get priority on a lift when I was the first customer there? Why has it been 3 hours and my serpentine belt still hasnt been changed while many other customers using a lift have been in and out? The rep said it was an unusual day, they had work left over from the previous day... well how does that explain the other customers going before me? I walked to the Service Manager Les Crites office and explained all of the above. He said the service advisors are assigned to specific lifts and the advisor I was assigned to had their lifts full of leftover work from yesterday. I asked why I wasnt assigned to a different advisor if that was the case and I was the first customer to arrive that morning. He said the advisors work on commission, so they have no incentive to move me, they would lose money. I asked how that is a good policy for the customer, how did that help me? He said its not, but theyre not going to change anything, what they do there works. I asked if he was the manager, why couldnt he change the policy to provide the best service experience for the customer? He said his CSI (?) was over 90% so most customers were happy there, if I wasnt, I could go somewhere else. Yikes. Of course, I left and will happily drive to another Toyota service department for my service work. However, in the parking lot I checked my dash cam and they DID pull my vehicle in on a lift about 15 minutes after I arrived, did the oil change and tire rotation, then pulled my vehicle back out onto the parking lot. After which they proceeded to put other vehicles on the same lift that my vehicle was on over the next 2.5 hours. So, I was lied to by a service advisor AND the service manager Les Crites. Youd think thats the end, right? Its not... Ill save you the details, but I noticed that they didnt rotate my tires correctly. I called and spoke with the service advisor and asked for a refund on the rotation which they provided by check the next day. I have placed a report with Toyota Corporate about the whole experience.
U can find what you want and get good deal
Dont buy car from HERE....they will Cheat you........They sold me a car that has two miles speedometer difference!!!! Toyota is FRAUD and they said it cant be FIXED....PLEASE BE CAREFUL while BUYING TOYOTA cars!!!! They are cheaters!!! I will upload YouTube video about this ....People should know what I am talking about when they purchase TOYOTA.....It was BRAND NEW 2016 AVALON....Also warrant does not cover...can you believe it??????
Love Chris on the pre-owned side and Josh in accounting is awesome. Love the experience we had here.
Great folks!. . They aim to please. . They keep trying till they get it right!
Good place to get your vehicles serviced. The some of the service advisors are pretty much nice
I wouldnt even give them one star, but it wouldnt let me give less. We had our Scion recalled for air bags and oil consumption. The air bags took 9 months to replace...and Toyota had our car the whole time. During the time they had our car, they fixed oil consumption recall. When get got it back, our engine burned up, and we had to get a new engine...on our dime. We have always, had the car serviced regularly, including oil changes. Never had any issues in the past. During the time it sat there, we did not have access to it, and was told that they would make sure to start is up regularly. I question that they did this, and this is the reason we had an issue. We have been a 3 generation Toyota family. Currently, we have a Sienna, Scion, Celica and Corolla. My parents and sisters have Toyotas, as well as two of our four children. Because o the way we were treated, NO MORE Toyotas in our family. Makes me very said and hurt that we were treated this way.
IVORY Bradshaw was good to deal with. If you want a new Toyota 4 runner of to monroe.
Pathetic. We had a service truck go in for a comeback repair. First time around they did not order all of the needed parts. But once they finally got all the parts in, they stated if we brought it in early they guaranteed it would be ready by Monday 05/29/2017. Here we are Wednesday 05/31/2017 and it is still not ready. We are getting behind on service calls and losing revenue due to thier failure to meet a promised repair time. Next time we will seek service elsewhere.
They got me just what I asked for! Very friendly service!
I purchased an extended warranty on my 2010 camry and after 41,000 miles my struts began to leak. This dealership would not honor my warranty and change the struts because they said the struts werent leaking bad enough. They were just afraid they wouldnt get the warranty money. The service manager lied to us and the person that sold me the car was going to get the owner involved and call me back. He never called back. Dont buy extended warranty. It does no good. Apparently a little leakage is normal. I guess thats why most struts DONT leak!
Great customer service and friendly service.
Great location. Great guys. Honest. Will give you the best deal. The star rating i gave is because of their limited financing and leaseing options. Good local business. Great impressional sales persons. Hopefully they will have more financing optionsin the future. Hopefully they will have leasing options in the future. Definitely worth a check out if car shopping, because they always have a great selection of multiple cars and trucks and suvs.
Purchased my last vehicle there, I am well pleased. I will shop there again
Great service on my car, staff is pleasant, and work with you on any Complaints. Excellent scheduling of appointments.
Timing and communication is great and friendly
Very helpful, great service, pleasant buying experience! Thanks Richard Crowe! (4/2018)
Fair
Great people Bought My Girls new Corolla First Class Sales Team. Thanks Richard .
Went to van trow 3 time for the same issue popping coming from the right front passenger suspension and they told me 3 times they could hear anything at all and one of the customers recommended toyota of bastrop and i took it there after waiting 4 hours for them to tell me they didnt hear anything and the one in bastrop drove it and told me my strut mount was wore out and they are fixing it screw van trow and their sketchy team
Service department was kinda rude when I called the lady that picked up needs to change the tone of her voice or just dont come in to work if your having a bad day.
Friendly people with a good selection.
Good people there
They believe in helping others and they show their love for others.
Amazing service and very willing to work with you and very friendly staff!
Good and quick service!
Fast and friendly service !!!
Helpful staff, but dealership prices are killer.
Not aftermarket market part friendly. Had recall done on Tacoma leaf springs and wouldnt put my add a leaf back in.. truck sits low in back now until I can install it myself.. also in doing that they blew my back shocks because they are for lifted suspensions... Richard Randels... It does no good. I spoke with Les who could not give me a straight answer when I asked him if a vehicle would get same treatment that comes in with a lift to get worked on due to recall vs a vehicle that was bought with lift from Van Trow show room floor getting work done for recall.. they did not want to put truck back like it came in. Wife is getting ready for another vehicle and Im going to Yokem in Shreveport area where I bought my Tacoma. Where they care about repeat business.....
Had to get my pre-owned van serviced here for a recall. The staff were very attentive and the waiting area was comfortable.
The service manager is so knowledgeable and provide full attention before the job. I own the Lexus ES330 and visited Toyota at Monroe,LA ( Dont have Lexus dealer near my town but they are at Shreveport,LA). My car needed valver cover gasket and they did the job perfectly! No more oil leakages on top of motor. They also suggested to replace all 8 spark plugs in single labor which was favorable as anyway they needed to open valver assembly. They did the perfect job and I drove my car almost 1000 miles after service and no oil leakage nore smelling oil. I met mechanic and he is such techy guy and I loved his work. Lots of satisfaction in work!!! I would recommend these guys to see for even Lexus...
Friendly employees and great service as always!
