I showed up with a Pacific vehicle in mined. Told the gentleman I just wanted to test drive it was probably going to go through another dealer closer to home. No problem handing me the keys. Then he patiently sat there while I spent a good hour debating if I wanted to buy that one or wanted him to get me a different color that I had in mind or a bigger van that I also had in mind she looked up the other colors but told me that I would have to wait till Friday to receive my van so I decided to purchase the one I test drove. He was awesome he worked with me was well patient helped in any way he could and at the end of the day Im a proud owner of a Nissan mv200

I have had many negative and some mediocre experiences with different dealerships. From my very first interaction with Gerweck Nissan over the phone I was impressed. That positive experience continued once I arrived at the dealership and I was consistently treated with respect and a welcoming attitude from everyone. There were no gimmicks, half truths or games just straight forward discussion about my needs and what they could do to help me. It was definitively the best experience I have ever had with a dealership.

1.) coolant spilled all over the engine. Puddles in crevices, car was smoking as it burned it off which is what caused us to look.2.) had to pull over because a red shop towel was plugging the passenger tail pipe3.) a white/ clear cap to some bottle was found in the engine compartment4.) a scratch, large black scuff down the drivers’ doorAbsolutely terrible craftsmanship. 27 point inspection that should have been completed at the end- rather than the beginning to ensure the car was taken care of considering the condition it was returned. Questioning if the car is in worse condition after having taken it in to the dealership. Michael was the tech named on the WO.Someone needs to do a thorough screening before delivering cars back to the owners.Very, very disappointing! Called the dealership- lack of concern of trying to recover the customer initiatives.
Easy car experience. I spoke with Mr. Gerweck about a model I liked, my budget and he suggested the 2020 Rogue. I took a test drive and loved it. Now she sits in my driveway and Im a happy customer.

The service manager was extremely nice and dropped everything to take care of me. This was more than I could have expected! Since his men were slightly busy, he helped them out with my tire and had it fixed in no time and we set up a date for my oil change and had the car back to me in almost no time at all. Very helpful and very professional. I was very pleased with everything they did there.

They are also a family run (Son, Father, Grandfather) business which I felt went a long way towards feeling comfortable and not being sold to like other dealerships; they speak like people rather than salesmen.

I came into Gerweck Nissan 38 weeks pregnant and desperate for a new vehicle that fit my, fairly specific, demands. I needed a higher towing capacity though I did NOT want a truck or huge suv, and I wanted this with low mileage and within a certain price range. I had been looking under these parameters for months, even outside the Nissan family and had all but given up.At Gerweck I had the pleasure of meeting/working with all 3 generations and not only did they find the perfect car for me, but they did it with kindness and compassion SO UNUSUAL to find at a dealership. I felt as safe with the transaction being fair as I did in my new (lightly used) pathfinder. Turns out I gave birth just two days later... and I couldn’t be more thankful for the Gerweck’s help jussst in time! I’ll be back for years to come, and will always highly recommend them to others!!
Gary our service manager is a gem, each time we have had our car in for work routine or otherwise he has taken good care of us. We are hoping to have a long history of driving Nissans and having them looked after by Gary and Gerweck Nissan and Mr Gerweck is okay also.

This is the absolute worst place possible to get a car! The entire staff was shady, but more specifically the manager/Owner was the most unprofessional person I’ve ever met in my life. They take advantage of people and only care about getting paid in the end. They have no respect for people’s well-being.

I had an unusual car buying experience at Gerweck yesterday. It was unusual because car buying is normally a pain in the backside. The sales staff and management at Gerweck made the experience awesome. They gave me a generous trade-in on my car and sold me the car I wanted at a much lower price than anywhere else I had visited.
I like how they keep you informed on what is going on and they are quite accurate on the time it will take. When you leave there you know you are in good shape since they go over your car and let you know if anything else need your attention.
Even through the covid challenges Gerweck Nissan met my expectations Ive grown to love about their dealership

About ten years ago I was going to rent a house from the owners of this facility, in the process of moving into the house my apartment burned down and I lost everything. I couldnt afford the house, after explaining this to the gerwick family I asked for my money back, (2,000 bucks) they offered me 500 bucks. I never took it. Not only did I loose my money, I also lost the money I had spent on a fridge. I was left homeless. I would advise anyone to buy from someone else. How can you own a car dealership and not afford to pay someone 2,000 mesley dollars? It effected my life so greatly, I was not able to get back on my feet and suffered greatly.
Well I came there because I was tired of Dearborn. They told me my car was ready, and it WASNT! I drove down there from 30 mins away. I got there my car was tore apart! The guy seen the fire coming from my eyes, literally came out and handed me a rental car keys & said we will call you! THATS IT! Nothing! No rental papers, NO NOTHING! Than it took 2 MORE weeks! I’m not impressed at all! I could have stole your car, and no one would’ve known! I had no documentation of a rental car, so unprofessional! I’m appalled!

OK, if youre buying a car, but if you want a simple engine light checked you have to make an appointment. Twice my husband has gone in he couldnt get it done. One shouldnt have to take a whole day off of work to get something done that only takes 5 minutes. Its amazing how when your car is still under warranty you cant get anything done, but when you have to pay you get right in.I had a talk with the service manager, which didnt yield results but then I spoke to a different manager which was even worse. You will get excuses and attitude. He obviously doesnt know anything about customer service. But thats OK, we can take our business elsewhere.Word to the wise, getting a customer is EASY, keeping them is what takes effort. Gerweck gets an F for failure!!!
Brought my Nissan all the way from Alaska. Picked up a rock on the AL-CAN Hwy. We were treated wonderfully from the beginning and even 2 years later with regular service. Diane is the BEST!

We were initially greeted by a young salesman who happened to be the son of the manger/owner. He was very professional and kind but the owner (his father) who came later was very rude and had exceptionally poor manners. For example, I was clear from the beginning that we want to spend up to 12 k on a car, he sarcastically said “then you should save more money”! He said other impolite statements I never heard a salesman say before.I have dealt with many car dealers in my life and owned many cars but have never met anybody so unprofessional and provided such a poor customer service before!Customer service like this is bad for Nissan’s reputation.

I was looking for a used, or possibly a new truck. Stopped in at Gerwick Nissan to check out a Frontier. Great reviews on this truck and great reliability reports. They didnt have the right color truck that I was considering, but I knew exactly what I wanted. I spoke with the owners, John and his son JC. I told them I wasnt serious about buying yet, but did want to see the truck in the actual color I wanted. JC ordered a new truck with the exact options I wanted. No commitment. No obligation. The truck came strait from the factory. Not a dealer trade. John called me when they got the truck. I looked at the Frontier and took it for a drive. Nice truck and $10,000 less than a similarly equipped truck from the other manufacturers. I got a good price on the new truck, then started to talk about a trade in. They gave me $2000 more for my trade then the Ford dealer offered. It really helped because I still owed money on the car and didnt want to roll over the outstanding debt. We started talking about my old truck, and worked out a deal on that too. Got rid of two vehicles, saving me a whole lot of hassle. This is a small dealership but they will work with you to get you what you want. Family owned. They dont have a huge staff like you normally see. Very personable guys. I arrived late at the dealer that night because I wasnt expecting to get the truck. John, JC and their staff stayed late and got me into my new truck that night. John and JC actually cleaned and prepped my vehicle. Definitely a personal touch. Ive never even heard of owners doing the prep work. They could have told me to come back the next day, but they took care of me. The best new car buying experience Ive ever had. Just good people. Never really looked at Nissan vehicles before, but Im so glad I did. The fit and finish on the truck is outstanding. Really pleased with the whole buying process at this dealership. Im really shocked reading the negative reviews. I didnt experience any negativity from them. Thats why I chose to right this review.
A week ago I stopped in just on a whim. I was greeted by what turned out to be the owner (John) of the dealership. We chatted briefly and he said he would be able to help me out and I would be hearing from him. Well, I never did. I emailed him after about 5 days and got an email back saying he was out of town on a trip and would be back Thursday. Apologized. Then emailed again and told me to go see his son JC who was expecting me and that he would take care of me.I left work and went to the dealership about a half hour later. JC was on the phone in his office. Speaker phone. His wife was also in there with him. He had been made aware I was there and he continued to stay on the phone. I went in and out looking at other cars on the lot to kill time. Back in. Still on the phone. The call was clearly personal in nature. They were discussing a home that had been bought. Then they moved on to general chatting about who was helping move things in and so on. I went back out to kill more time. Then back in again. More of the same.This went on for 20 min and I had had enough. I got in my car and was texting my wife that I was leaving. Another salesman came back out and told me that he cant seem to get off. Its about something financial. I told him I knew what it was about since IT WAS ON SPEAKER! He said ok and then went back in when I told him I was leaving. As I was backing out suddenly JC came out the door and was available.He told me he was sorry but that his daughter was buying a house in Tennessee. I expressed my frustration at having been ignored for 20 min when I was told to go up there and was ignored for a personal call. He tapped my door twice in a condescending manner and told me to have a good day. Turned and went back inside.I emailed his dad back and told him what had happened and said it was a strange way to do business. He wrote me back and told me he had spoken to his son and...ready..?? BLAMED ME! The owner told me family is the most important thing and told me he was sorry I had bad timing when I showed up! He told me that some day when my daughter buys a house I would want to be involved too. So, rather than even ask me if I would mind waiting. Explain a situation, have someone else help me etc...they didnt even say a word to me because they were ON A PERSONAL CALL AT WORK. And they cared so much about being involved that they didnt take the day off. Didnt go down there. Instead they talked to her on speaker in the middle of a business while not helping customers.And then told the client they had told to go to the dealership...THEY HAD BAD TIMING!!I read some other reviews on other sites and this seems to be a pattern. They come on as a nice family owned dealership and then things take a turn. I encourage you to read reviews on Google or on some of the other car sites. My experience in not only not uncommon it seems to be a pattern.Very disappointed in this. I was excited about the car I was seeking to purchase!

This dealer does not deserve your business. I went in today after speaking with Kevin to see and drive a preowned 2013 BMW, which the price Im still not sure. After looking at it I asked yo drive it to tale it Homs to show my wife. As he was copying my drivers license. A manager walks over to me and says that I cant take the car alone because its a high line car, what does that mean even? Its used and not a race car. Im over 30 years old have purchased many cars new and used and never once did I have to drive with someone to show my wife the car! I expressed my dissatisfaction and was simply told have a nice day. Ive even been allowed to take cars home for the night to really get a good feeling for something Ill be paying for for years and years.I was very interested in the car, was not just coming to kick tires. I simply believe its because I wasnt dressed like I could afford a car. Would it have been different if I was buying a new Nissan? Which probably costs more than the used BMW. His high line remark wouldnt apply then. Im so disappointed! They have lost my potential business. Too bad Kevin missed out because of this totally unprofessional manager. They arent the only car dealer on the block.Stay away zero stars is what they deserve!

It was a warranty fix. They offered a loaner, and washed and vacuumed my car!!!!
So I call them at 11am and ask if a certain vehicle they advertised online was still available and they them me it is. Later that day I make the 45 min. drive there and arrive at 3pm. I ask to look at the vehicle and they tell me it sold the night before. Yeah, right. The old bait-and-switch. A sleazy way to do business. I Wasted an hour and a half of my time and a quarter tank of gas.
