To Jerry Collins - C & C Tool & Machine Inc. president:On our recent evacuation from Eastern NC and the hurricane, we had an RV door hinge break while in Charlotte NC. We couldnt shut the door when we arrived because the hinge broke. Water poured in with all the rain in the area. After working and working to fix the problem, we finally got the doors piston to shut. The small ball on the hinge had broken and the piston would not close properly. With that said, we couldnt open the main RV door without it staying open again. The next morning, I found C& C tool and Machine Inc. The people there were very very helpful and although they were not able to make a new small hinge and ball for the door, they did match the old piston ball to the hinge and welded it on. This helped me get the door shutting properly, until we could make it home to Sneads Ferry, NC, where I could order a new hinge for the RV.The company didnt charge me for the service or welding. I was told, you all just be safe on your journey home. People helping people during this kind of disaster is what good people and great services are all about. I would use C & C again and would highly recommend them to any one who wants good people doing work for you. My wife and I are so thankful for C & Cs mercy and help in a difficult situation.
