This review is for the Service Dept.I have had both of my 2005 Dodge Rams here for service. I have always done my own car service, I hated to pay for something I could do myself. But now that Im older, and especially with newer cars, I found it is/was a lot easier to have someone else do the service. The service department at Shalls is excellent. Estimates for service are spot on, service is completed when promised and repairs / service has exceeded my expectations. I will be using them in the future and recommend them to anyone.

By my own mistake, I had initially given Schall Auto a rating of 5 stars after purchasing my new vehicle from them because I was thrilled to finally have a running vehicle and also because I was told I would get a free oil change from leaving a review. After I had spent that money on the car and then also had to borrow some to even purchase it, a free oil change sounded like I was hitting the jack pot. Well I had gotten the certificate for the oil change.But now my view on this dealership has completely flipped. I truly believed they were genuine people selling me my new car, unfortunately thats where Im wrong again. After having the car for not even 3 whole months, it stalled today. So I took it my mechanic in hopes that my warranty from Schall would cover some, if any of the cost to fix my car.The issue with my car is electrical- which is NOT covered in the warranty. I now have a car that needs a new computer system, as well as 6 new spark plugs. After speaking with the gentleman who works in service at Schall and being told there is absolutely nothing to be done from their end, I was shocked but honestly shouldnt have been surprised.All I know is, I wouldnt recommend this place to any one. They totally fooled us and Id hate for anyone close to me to have to be $2500 in the hole now because they were sold a vehicle that they calmed was checked in the shop and worked on any MAJOR issues prior to the sale. This isnt something that couldve just happened with me driving 1,500 miles in two months. This is an issue that HAD to have been noticed when inspected.And now I wait, yet again for a call back from the boss, Kenny. Which I more then likely wont receive. All in all, Im very disappointed with how they treat their customers AFTER they get their sale. Its a huge bummer.

I have had everything done by Schall Automotive and they have been nothing but great! Everything from having my oil changed to having a rear axle replaced after sliding off an icy road last winter, these guys have been wonderful.The service guys are kind and down to earth while being professional. Schall Automotive does not host the normal overly confident car salesman attitude that most other places pride themselves on.The owners are around all of the time so if there is an issue at all, you only have to speak up and the issue will be resolved without hassle.Im not sure what the other reviewers experience but I would recommend Schall Automotive to anyone!

This is my second vehicle purchased from Schall Automotive. With my first purchase, I had horrible credit. They did not speak down to me like some other dealers did. I found a 2006 Jeep Liberty CRD. Great vehicle, very reliable.Last week I traded it in for something nicer. Once again, Ken and Kenny helped me out.They had amazing patience with me. I test drove 3 different cars, some of them twice. They told me to Take as long as you like. When I finally decided what one I wanted, Ken got to work very quickly and had me ready to roll in 2 days. Would never buy a vehicle from here ever again.Owner is okay and sorta friendly but the sales people are horrible. The older man that sold me my truck got in my face and my boyfriends screaming, also slammed the owners door in our faces.. his name was john. The owner said it was his military coming out but to speak to someone who just dropped almost 10k like garbage is not professional at all..Come to find out, they lied about what was done to the truck. On top of that several things that they fixed happen to be the things that keep messing up. They replaced one part after we hawked them for a couple days about it.. Also when my plate came they never called me. And when i picked it up my sticker was on the plate already ... which is weird.Wouldnt reccomend buying from here..

Bought my son a 1997 Jeep Wrangler from them on June 14,20162 days after I bought it the starter went out then a week later the muffler fell off so I took it to a certified mechanic and when he hoisted it up he spotted the holes in the frame & they was filled with foam & sprayed painted black to match the frame.. So I took it back to the dealer and Kevin passed it to Kenny & Kenny is passing it to Kevin.. They now have had my jeep parked there for almost 2 weeks.. All I want is for them to refund my $1500 and take this jeep back.. The mechanic that hoisted the jeep up said this jeep was unsafe & dont drive it.. But Kevin claiming hes a certified mechanic said this was the best frame hes seen on a 1997 jeep in a long time.. They are avoiding my calls & when I come up there one of them isnt there.. These people are crooked as hell!!! DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! BEWARE!!!!

Had radiator installed because they said that was a hole in my radiator but the leak was coming from the back of the motor I kept telling them that and after I got the way to your door fixed I still had the leak in the same spot they could not find it and I had to take it to the dealership to get it fixed properly and what was that actually leaking was a hose from the engine to the heat exchanger so I think they replaced my radiator without even checking to see what else it could be they said there was a hole in it and I dont even think there was now everybody was wonderful when I took it there to get other repairs done so I thought they were trustworthy but I guess noThe post was not meant to be a issue just was not sure why the main issue i had could not be found by their mechanic only could find the one problem and was hoping that i could trust them cuz they fixed my car when it was wreaked and they did a wonderful job but since i have a hard time trusting people i felt upset cuz i felt used at the time and i wanted to give people more clarity that i was upset at the time wanted to just give what i thought was fair at the time cuz they gave me a deal and took care of me so well but i had stopped there several times no one could find the leak we thought it was just way car was made then it seemed they finally found issue out if blue maybe it just got bad enough finally or timing not sure just got irritated that i had to take it elsewhere cuz they couldnt find main issue and i wound up spending lot more than i had but u want people to know that even if they read bad review that they need a chance because it was more my like my curse and not them cuz i was upset and maybe the issue i had may have taken a special test or something to find the main issue i had didnt mean for anyone to be upset

Best friend bought a Jeep Wrangler from here two days starter went out a week later muffler fell off had to get it fixed the mechanic wrote out a statement that said car was unsafe because the frame of Jews was filled with foam. She has been trying to talk to the owner and keeps getting the run around. It has been up there for now a week and still no answer. All she wanted was for them to take the jeep back. Very rude and was yelling at her and saying nothing was wrong with the jeep. Beware.

Ken will rip you off fast! They lie stay away from them! way overpriced! vehicles look up kbb price! they are $3000 above retailers in the area watch out Big time

Very nice service department but OMG. Have had my sons truck in 4 times now and Everytime we are told we did this or that and your fine. Well we are not fine now. Picked truck up AGAIN this morning, my son drove it less then 20 miles to work tonight and cant drive it over 15 miles per hour. He had to drive home with hazards on. This isnt even the original problem. So calling AGAIN at 8 when they open and VERY inconvenced at this point without the vehicle. Have paid alot of money for absolutely nothing. At risk now of losing my job without transportation. 5th time in in a month.

DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM SHALL! This is one of the worst places you can go to get a vehicle. They sold my brother his first truck, over priced, and not even one week after her owned it the motor blew up in it. The truck was supposed to be under a 90 day warranty. Theyre trying to say he beat the truck and did the damage. I personally watched my brother do nothing but take care of that truck for the whole 4 days he got to enjoy his new truck. Everyone that works there has been nothing but rude, or they dont even know what truck is his half the time. He is now paying 15,000 dollars for a truck that sits in the backyard because shalls wont do whats right and fix the truck. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM SHALL!

Sold me a truck promising it was good for at least another 100,xxx miles. Since owning I have put over $4,000 dollars in repairs, and some of those repairs were things that they had told me already were done. All of this and i have owned the truck less than a year. I recently reached out to John and the owner and they were willing to do pretty much nothing to rectify all these issues even under promise of getting my next vehicle there. They are good at hiding flaws in vehicles and will obviously lie straight to your face if it means making a sale. I will never return to that lot again and will strongly recommend everyone to take there business elsewhere. Also their service department is a joke. Had to take my truck back in for a major engine repair the same day I drove it off the lot. Although they did take care of the issue for no cost, the work was subpar; a mechanic left a motor mount totally undone on the truck after inspecting the work myself later . Buyers beware!

They dont care about their customers they just want the sale... Took my car back to them multiple times after having problems with it starting less than a month after I got it and they told me theres nothing wrong... Shortly after I took it to the Chevy dealer and they did find a problem... Even having a warranty you still pay for everything that needs fixed.... These people are a joke

Wouldnt return phone calls, sold me a truck with lots of costly problems, offered to fix it, but didnt replace what they said they were replacing. When I tried to contact them to figure out they had repaired they quit returning myphone calls. Gmc dealer said the work they did was awful and a complete botch job. Shady, shady shady folks.
