I didn’t realize I’m not the only one who’s order is not ready when you order ahead. I always order ahead and the app tells you ready in 10 mins. I get there 2 mins after 10. You have to line up to get your coffee with the customers who are still ordering and after they get to you your order is still not ready and have to wait another 10 mins. That’s a 20 min hold up + the order ahead time. Good if you’re not on your way to work but if you are, your done for and late for work. This is not one time this is a couple of times. Hey, S T A R B U C K S check this specific store of yours they are not up to what is expected of them. This is the only specific store that does that. If you can’t keep up don’t sign up for mobile orders… The Starbucks in Barnes and Nobles shouldn’t have closed, they were better off than this store.

Came here to work a bit. Music is too loud for a Cafe and no power outlets to charge anything. Went to the patio and got kicked out at 7:40. Good for to go only. Everything else is your standard SB expectation.

Really fast drive-thru, and across the parking, only a few feet away, you have a book store that Im gonna checkout especially since its locally owned. Plus coffee + reading is never a bad thing 😄

They remodeled the place, there’s a conference room added you can use. Coffee was good and quick.

Holding mobile orders at the cashwrap for pick-up is utter nonsense. Whats the point of order ahead when you have to wait in line to receive your order? Its like going through a drive thru and having them tell you to circle around the building, get back in line, and start over from the beginning. I wish Starbucks would follow a consistent level of service across all locations. Good customer service requires you to smile, acknowledge the customer upon entry, and devise service solutions that in the best interest of your customers needs. The staff do their best to avoid eye contact or provide prompt service at this location. The Prescott and Briggsmore Starbucks location is an excellent example of customer service at its best in our area. When I walk though the door the barista looks up, acknowledges me, asks me for my order name etc. Its clear Im coming in for a mobile order as Ive just walked through the door straight to pick-up. This isnt rocket science, yet somehow the McHenry location in the Target parking lot has taken a simple process and made it both confusing for their staff and inconvenient for their customer. I wont be returning to this location and genuinely hope that the area management teams hold their locations and personnel to a better standard in the future.

This place always is slow and every time I have ordered a head my food is not cooked fully/cold, having to wait past the time my pick up is for. I ordered ahead the past two day and have been told the few items that said they were available were no longer available. Do even bother going here.

The counter pick up closed, going thru drive thru very slow. Wrapped around whole center. People having clean their kids up ( maybe change them or let go to restroom or give them happy meals ) the line so slow any mobile order was cold .Worst of all the better Starbucks close by is closed.

Order ahead and going in the lobby to pick up is great. Everyone very friendly. The drive up is a nightmare long line and wait, otherwise I would give them 5 stars.

Little slow this morning even though I placed a mobile order. When i arrived, I was the second car in line. The first car was already at the window, it took that car to be helped. I sat there a good 5 minutes before they even took the money from the car before me. Maybe this Starbucks needs the right people at the right time. Little disappointing.

They are the slowest! I was in the drive thru line for at least 25 minutes!

The service and staff are amazing! They keep the line moving even though its quite long, and they were expeditious in very eager to help and serve their customers. I made a mistake with the transaction and the staff was very helpful and nice. 10 out of 10

Its random when they decide to open their drive thru lane. Today I went there to order but again the drive thru lane was closed and you had to go inside to order. Please seriously, who ever owns this place just let it go to someone else that will be competent enough to keep the drive thru lane open during the pandemic, and also work on staff that can make drinks in a timely manner would also be appreciated. Also if you are not open, kindly take down the huge sign stating that you are. Thanks.

This location is like an assembly line drive through for a fact. Its like watching a battle between mindless metal prize grabber claws operated by 5 star professionals. All operated collaterrally by master FPS gamers from the looks of it in the morning we seem to have NUkeTown... Efficiency with warm distant politeninteractions. The hot elevator Jazz filled days of laughter linger like a distant memory.

I was going through the Drive Thru, and my experience with the barista Katie at the window was amazing. She has such a bubbly and sweet personality that makes you smile. Love the service and drinks. 100/10 recommend!

Everyone always seems to be so rude everytime I go. Starbucks isn’t the same anymore either. It’s nasty lowkey and they always seem to scam me with my drinks having it filled only 75%. Never coming again, only came cause dutch and dunkin’ was packed.

This is one of my favorite Starbucks in Modesto. Theyre always very friendly, kind, and repeat your order and if they do you happen to mess up they change it pretty quickly.

Ambience is fine. Service okay. (Generally slightly better.) Took 10 minutes for egg bites to arrive. Longest ever Ive waited for food. Hot tea was served immediately. Usually the drink takes longer than the food. Baristas were abnormally loud with the chit chat and laughter. ( The men) Tables cleaner than many Starbucks. Sugar, milk and napkin area clean and well stocked.

I love the coffee, but the customer service is why I choose this place. I dropped my coffee the minute I got home. I literally took one sip. I called to see if I could get another and the woman gave me a free coffee. Wow!! I must say Starbucks is the way to go.

I got four drinks earlier today, three of them being white chocolate mochas and mine was just steamed milk without chocolate, so it just tasted like burnt milk.

This morning my husband came to this Starbucks on his way to work after dropping our daughters off at school. He went inside to order his coffee. There was 1 person waiting for their drink and no one else. After he ordered his drink a handful of people came in and ordered drinks and breakfast. After 30 mins of waiting and watching everyone else who ordered after him get their drinks and breakfast he said something to the girl. She had not even attempted to make his drink or apologize for forgetting and having him wait so long. Instead, she said she would just refund him his money. The problem is, this is not the first time this has happened at this location. My husband is a 30 year old African American who seems to get this treatment time and time again at this location. It’s gotten to the point where he drives 10 mins out of his way to go to a different Starbucks just to avoid being treated this way. Even his coworkers have noticed the way the employees at this location treat him differently when they go in together during lunch breaks. I have also personally witnessed this myself. I use to go to this location often as it is the closest Starbucks to me. When I go in by myself I get the BEST customer service. The couple times I have gone in with my husband I have seen how differently he is treated when visiting this location. I suggest that management starts enforcing GREAT customer service to ALL customers. I will be reaching out to the district manager today about this issue.

I love starbucks but since I have been visiting locations in the Valley and live here for the past 2 years i see what a difference it is from bayarea locations. 1-when they make a mistake on a drink here they just throw it away,bayarea offers it up as an apology for the inconvenience and mistake 2- every time i order i get a full cup of Ice therefore a watered down drink.3-they really do not know how to make a drink with the extra shot floated. I have gotten it on top of the whip which is not how you make a drink with an extra shot!! They definitely need better training at this location 😏

If I could give 0 stars I would. I used to love this place. I dont know what happened to the staff and why they all suddenly didnt know how to use the Starbucks cards, but no one but the manager knew. Me and my husband went in this morning to grab us, and some friends, coffee. Thought the lady on the com for the drive through was nice, but then she didnt know how to input our drinks right or something. Finally finished the order after about 10 minutes of them changing people to take our order. We got up to the window, I told her we wanted to cash in on a free drink with our points. Then she agreed and scanned our card. She then said we had to pay another $5ish for the rest. We were obviously confused. We finally had to call over the manager because this girl, and like 3 others had no idea how to use the reward point system. Then we going out sure made us pay for an order that was not only not ours, but also from a previous order that the other customer before us paid for. Finally got it fixed, but for some reason we couldnt use or points. So we just took our 5 drink order home. Got home and it was all wrong! Everything was suppose to be decaf. I, myself, have a caffeine allergy. So I can only handle decaf. I can blur tell the difference between the two, but my husband can. It not only was NOT decaf, it was at least a double shot. It was super strong. If I had drunk that it would if had me in the hospital with in the hour. We did get or money back and drinks remade, but I dont think Ill be going back. Absolutely worse starbucks experience ever. I hate to be that person to complain, but it was not a good experience at all.

I have lowered my rating because this place constantly runs out of things...today its spoons...for the fourth time in as many many months...other items include vanilla for coffee drinks...the staff are very friendly...but I cant keep buying when the manager keeps saying that corporate didnt send their order....I was in restaurant business a long time and you dont get shorted on orders all the time maybe once in a blue moon....how about better inventory controls

This is basically a starbucks coffee, but a pretty nice one. Plenty of tables and a small area with couch and chairs - Ive never managed to sit there because its always occupied. Good pleasant service.

Three of my five drinks were completely wrong today! They put regular coffee in drinks that were supposed to be decaf or no caf, the hazelnut latte tasted like barely flavored water, and nearly no one here knows how to redeem stars. All in the drive theu, so I had to go back after Id already gotten home. No clue what happened to the competent staff before these muttonheads, but they need to either be trained properly or replaced with people who know how to use the POS

My absolute FAVORITE location in Modesto! The employees are a delight. They also strive to know you and your drinks specifications. If another location didnt get your order right theyll kindly fix it as well.

This Starbucks is different in that its across from a book store instead of in a bookstore. This Starbucks is also less than 500 feet away from a Starbucks inside Target so if you forget to order a drink after your done shopping, your in luck. Just drive across the parking lot and get your fix here and if happen to miss this one dont fret! Theres another across the street in Barnes and Noble and another one South of here a little over the mile! (3 Stars if theres less than 3 around you within a mile. 4 Stars if theres less that two. 5 Stars if your the only one around in less that a mile)

Good location next to Target and Yesterdays Books. This is a cozy location, but parking can be a challenge.

I go to Starbucks often and this visit yielded a drink called the Medicine Ball. This Starbucks did not have all of the ingredients, but the worker was able to improvise and create a drink which was pleasing to my taste buds. The wait for the drink was good and the service was friendly and professional.

This place was doing so well and I don’t understand why there is always a 10 minute minimum wait in the drive thru every day and any time. This is a huge issue now

This is Fishbucks, being formerly a Long John silvers. The Service here is fine. Vagrant passthru is fair. Location is good for neighbor Hood service coverage but the parking can be clumsy. Interior is spacious.

Overall, a wonderful Starbucks! Awesome people work there and have great personalities. However, there are a couple employees that are plain just rude and have no business with anything remotely associated with customer service. Ive had one in particular roll her eyes at me, refuse to remake my drink unless I paid for another, make me wait and wait for my drink, just sit my drink down w/o calling my name, and even yell or I guess, raise her voice to me. She has no business whatsoever working there. She definitely has her supervisors and/or managers fooled! If it wasnt for most of the other employees and their terrific attitudes, I would have found a different location a long time ago......

Didnt like this location. Tried to request help from the drive thru cashier but she was more interested in just keep the line moving than there loyal customer. Definitely needs more customer oriented training

This Starbucks put covers over their power outlets. I came hoping to get some work done, but power outlets are all blocked.I don’t know why they made this decision. I won’t be visiting this location again.

Best Starbucks in town, it’s my favorite one, they have amazing customer service and always make my coffee the same each time.

The drive-thru is easy to access and the inside is a nice big area to either do some studying or simply meet up with friends.

I go here frequently and I always order the same thing. Venti caramel frappucino with extra caramel drizzle and triple shot of espresso. More times than not, they put minimal caramel drizzle and today after I told them to make sure it has extra caramel drizzle the filled the bottom of the cup up about 3 1/2- r inches of caramel now I dont even want it... Wont be going here again
