I got work pants . They cost a little more than Walmart but are made a lot better.

They do not carry Ben Davis clothing. Nice store though. Plenty of another gear.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would! The president of the company and individuals that work for corporate are EXTREMELY RUDE and dismissive!! My debit card has been scammed and when I called to report the situation and ask about the charge-back/refund process I was given the runaround by one of their corporate employees. I was then given the President of the companys information and spoke with him. He was very aggressive with his tone as if I did something wrong. I was then told their process of how to deal with the situation which was understandable but while expressing my concerns he was very dismissive and continuously cut me off and blurted out well youre lucky that Im even having this conversation with you and just because you go through your card company, that doesnt mean that well give you your money back! I was infuriated by the conversation because he treated me as if I was some type of peasant who is beneath him because he is the president of his company. I went off on him because I was livid and had never been treated this way. I also called him out on how he was dealing with me and the situation at hand and he completely denied saying those things!! This was just pure madness how a President of a company can behave this way. Ive never been so disrespected by a place of business in my life, especially when Im the victim. This really crushed me because Im an honest, hard working individual who has been scammed and I just wanted to express my concerns, take action towards the situation and ultimately, just want my money back. I will continue to work with my card company to get this situation resolved.With so much going on it is my hopes that people would be a bit kinder to one another.

Customer service is always top notch. Great selection of boots and work clothes. I was bummed this labor day weekend because they offered 10-40% off! I feel clothing most guys wear daily (T-Shirts) were not on sale. Plenty of flannel and plaid button shirts but no Ts.

The lady that helped me was horrible, she insisted I try on a shoe I didnt want then she didnt have my size, she is very loud and doesnt listen. I couldnt wait to leave. They did have what I needed

I have been a devoted customer to World World for a while now until now. Today (8/29/15) was my first experience trying to exchange an item simply due to buying the wrong size. My wife drove 40 min out of her way to exchange 2 pairs of shorts for me. After getting to the store with our 2 small children she attempted to exchange the shorts for the correct size. She was quickly told by the associate working (Eva) that she thought the shorts had been washed. My wife told them that they had not been washed and she just needed to exchange them for the correct size. The associate then continued to argue with my wife in front of other customers insisting she believed they had been washed, ultimately calling the “CUSTOMER” a liar. My wife was so embarrassed from having to argue with Eva in front of other customers she left the store in tears. I have never seen such a poor level of customer experience in all my life. Work World just confirmed to me today that the customer is NEVER right. If you plan on returning or exchanging anything to this company be prepared for them to call you a liar and treat you like dirt. This is over 2 pairs of shorts mind you. Do I really care about the $40 worth of shorts they refuse to exchange…NO. Do I care they don’t believe/trust their customers and have them leave crying from the complete lack of disrespect they show you…YES!

I just walked into this store to purchase work boots and Carhart apparel for my husband for Christmas. I carry a smaller size backpack with me, for personal reasons, not a purse. When I walked in, I was greeted then asked if I needed help. I replied no thank you, and that I wanted to look at the Carhart apparel. I was then asked to leave my back pack at the front desk! I was completely mortified and insulted. I told the sales representative her request was offensive and that I would just leave the store, so I did! As I walked out, the other sales representative stated, “Ma’am there is a sign on the window!”I understand theft is an issue, particularly around the holidays however, you are assuming I am a person who will steal from you because I carry a back pack. I am a member of this community who gives back generously! Do you ask people to leave purses at the front desk? I prefer to shop and spend money at stores who do not profile patrons. Shame on you!

2/2/16I would not recommend this store to anybody. I went to Work World the other day and had a bad experience was not pleased with the service. I bought a vest there for my job. I had it for a while and tried to return it because the zipper fell off and I took it in and told them it was a defect. They told me it was Dirty, (But I cleaned it until I sweated) and some of the stitching was off because it has been worn. So they would not take it back unless I cleaned it and fixed the stitching.. If I had to get it dry cleaned it was cost me like 15 dollars and I would have to stich it back up there is another 8 dollars. It would cost me more to fix it then to buy another one.So I told them I will not do business with them anymore I will take my service else wear.

Lot of good deals lot of things clearance now just got to wait a week or two for them to get my size next years version no price is too high for good boots well almost

Went in looking at boots, a lady that worked there drove me crazy and if I needed help I said no Im just looking then said let me show you these new boots I followed her and looked she walked anyway and I walk straight out of there. She was horrible at customer service. Will probably never go back.

They had a lot of inventory but not a lot of things on sale.

Clean & organized, easy to find location, friendly staff, a little pricey, not a huge selection but they have great quality goods for the working man.

The manager is very rude when taking returns, and there not really well stock for petite women, as my wife is a truck driver and they didnt even have her size.

Ive been a work world customer since the Stockton store opened up in the very early 1990s. After moving to Modesto & when the store there opened i started going there instead of all the way over to Stockton. Well every time I go in this place Im eye balled like mad by the 2 older employees(owners maybe, 1 male the other female)sometimes even followed! This is no way to treat customers, theres other places out there that sell the same merchandise that wont treat me & who knows how many others like were thieves.
