Im pretty bummed. Ive been going to EWC for many years, this is my first time at this location (due to moving) and I just didnt receive good results. Ive never had so many missed spots of hair during a brazilian and residue from wax. The waxer was nice but the results arent up to par. 😒

I’ve been going here for the last 5-6 years now and I love it. For those who plan to get waxed regularly, I recommend getting a wax pass, and when they have them on sale. For example I got mine during Black Friday and I paid for 9 visits and got 3 free. They also this during the holidays. I’ve seen Heidi, Samantha, and Tina love them.

Honestly, the best place I have ever been to! I went in for a Brazilian and underarm wax, mind it was my first time ever! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I love that they give you either a discount or free service (depending on the price of your service), if its youre first time. Super helpful to determine whether or not youd like to come back. Which you will! Also!! If you buy a package on a service you can get them for a discount and pay in payments. Over ALL theyre just amazing!! And what they do for their customers is definitely appreciated.

I got an eyebrow wax today I told my waxer exactly what I wanted a thin brow with a high arch ( could have not been clearer on what I wanted) I got a super boxy straight across eye brow ( I realize thats what the style is but its not what I wanted) when I got the the super boxy eye brows I was trying to explain what Era I wanted them from wich would I said the early 2010s she said why would you want that so then when I got the eye brows I didnt want and after I told her I wanted them much thinner abd she didnt take much more off I was no longer comfortable with talking to her I just wanted it to be over and on top of that I have two ver different shaped eye brows that is the worst European wax center i have ever been too abd now I have to extend my family photos out to wait to find somebody else to fix my eyebrows

I love these women! They make you feel comfortable, they are professional, clean, fast, and always do a great job! The prices are high but that is due to corporate, they get greedy and make new zones to charge you for... But the girls (I have 3 I love and wont see anyone else) are the best. They get me in and out in under 15 minutes.

Lovely place

Recently started getting my Brazilian waxes done here after multiple bad experiences elsewhere... I am SO pleased and always feel extremely welcomed and taken care of!! These ladies are awesome and make it so worth the drive for me (I live 30 minutes away). I have recommended this place to so many friends already. So satisfied!!

Went into European Wax Center last night after work and I loved it! I was looking for a place that would be open after 7pm since I work and called a couple of places and they told me they would be open until 8:30! I was sold right then and there!I went to get my eyebrows waxed and while there decided I would just go for it and do my whole face! Brittni was awesome she was super friendly, gentle, and a perfectionist which I loved and appreciated! Build great rapport with me and while the gals in the receptionist area had me already thinking about purchasing the package deal, her great customer service sold me! Cant wait to go back in 4 weeks!

These ladies are awesome from the receptionist to the wax specialists! Makenzie was my Specialist and she is friendly, professional, fast, and walked me through the entire process. I love this place, highly recommend. Products are great too.

Nina is absolutely the best! me and my daughter have been going to her for a few months now and she is gentle enough to where my 12 year old daughter dosent even feel pain and gets excited to get it done (relax its just her armpits nothing else) Nina is very friendly and super happy and you could definitely tell she loves her job and takes full pride, she is very knowledgeable and knows what shes doing.. she will forever be my wax person!!

I have had great waxings here from Griselda! She is professional, attentive, friendly and thorough. The front desk service is good, but when it’s busy they have only 1-2 people to manage incoming appts, checkout, and phones.

I love, love, LOVE this place. Compared to some other waxing places they arent the cheapest, BUT you defiantly pay for better service. Griselda is by far one of the best, and most qualified waxer I have met. She does an amazing job and always leaves me looking flawless. She is also a sweetheart. I cant recommend this place enough! Terrible front desk people at the Modesto Ca location. Rude and snotty! Totally treated me like I was beneath them. Fake smiles and talk to you like baby. Then they type to eachother about you on their computer......

I always believe in QUALITY over QUANTITY. I went to get a Brazilian wax at European wax because of te price $27 and i was tired of shaving. They put me with an esthetician in modesto who i thought would know how to take care of delicate areas like that......But NO.....Half way thru i was shaking and sweating so hard and she kept having to go over areas inside that are VERY sensitive and told me she couldnt repowder me (to grab more hair and do less passes bcz this was spead waxing and couldnt). She spent more time looking at her pager that keptgoing off the whole time she was doing me and not remembering at apply pressure everytime to block the pain signal....i couldnt walk for 2 days and still feel so sore one the top under my stomach like i got burned...I now know why ppl are so skeptic to come into my salon where QUALITY and NO PAIN is the goal instead of just rushing you out the door....I have wax on the inside of my right leg still attached to hair NOT PULLED so no wax DISOLVER was used for excessI asked if she could do my lowder legs since the lady on the phone said she was open from 1pm to 8:30pm and the waxer said she was now booked and cant take me at all today for anything else....When i tried to buy a package and give them $500 they were acting like i was interrupting them with only 2 people sitting in the waiting room... just not friendly or caring and the girl with glasses kept having to ask the older blond for info....I seriously now know why ppl cancel with me and go to threading (which hurts worse and is illegal in the usa) bcz of this experience.They said on their websites they put on serums to not get ingrown hairs but it was just an slovera wipe....not an aftercare wipe from Ceripil like i use.Didnt offer me any products or aftercare or anything....I was taught to powder,powder,powder,and do section 8s to get all the hair in the first pass so you dont have to go over or feel any pain.....not here.....just slap it on and rip it off!I was naked on the table and no towel or disposable underwear or anything! Just horrible.....I now know why clients keep asking me to thread them instead of wax them....i wouldnt go back and am debating but my skin has changed to razor burn when i shave now.....so i may look for a spa that does brazillians the way i was taught and do them the right way.....im seriously thinking of having my husband rip it off and i apply it....its THAT BAD.....!!Oh and the lady on the phone said i got to get half off my first session plus one small section free (lip,chin,underarm,bikini line.....) then when i went to pay they said it was either half off my first time or 1 free spot at full price......how confusing!No wonder why my clients keep asking for the best price or free sections for first time customers.....my prices are LESS and BETTER and ppl STILL line up the door for this PAINFUL experience.....i do everything myself waxing but this was the one spot i couldnt reach....guess im saving up $2k for laser removal instead........i came home and threw up right out side my car door from the pain....i have pics...no joke.....This could have been my go to place forever but not anymore....it was just about the rush and money like i was nothing to them......

I ONLY recommend Ruby. I go for a facial wax and she is quick and as painless as she can be. Always welcoming too.
