Nice store and nice clothes but too hot to stay long enough to make a decision and way to warm in the fitting rooms and they took out the chair in the fitting room. I cany go as much as I used to the heat makes me sick. Then theres only one checkout on the whole bottom floor.

I was able to find a man robe . for a good price. So it was $60 but got it half that price . for the size and thickness of the robe .i glad I took a chance and went on a Saturday .

It’s a nice place to shop. They have a good variety of merchandise at a good price. I’ve shopped in there for years what can I care to remember. The styles are always up-to-date the store is always clean. The only problem is that sometimes it’s difficult to find someone to help you they could use a few more employees to work the floor.

I got my mom a birthstone ring at an amazing price. This was even after the mothers day sale. My sales rep was truly a sweet, kind and patient person. She helped me make a choice that had my mommy smiling from ear to ear. My experience was totally stress free and wonderful.

Covid-19 has really impacted this store, some areas didnt even have display racks. And there was a ton of clearance left from off-season. Only like one register was open on the main floor and one on the upper floor. Definitely looking like a rough condition with less shoppers in stores. Hopefully can bounce back in the future.

We were searching for their most expensive mens dress shirt. Silly to say that, but I bought one for Johns BD last year and it is, by far, his most favorite!The mens department was in disarrayInstead of neat stacks, shirts were tossed and even hanging half off of shelves.We couldnt find the Best Dress Shirts and asked directions from a clerk with a Store ID in the mens dept. I have her the most expensive description. She pointed in a general direction sand then ignored me. Still never found the special shirts. We left without a purchase. JC Penney used to be a CLASS ACT!

Mens dept. needs a LOT of attention. The entire store needs much more light.

I personally dont like the mall and especially now because of the pandemic. We waited in line for close to an hour to check out while another employee was just walking around collecting hangers. She could have gotten on one of the other registers to help the line move faster but no she didnt. One of the sweaters I got now has a whole in it from a loose string. I was going to take a couple of things back but I cant stand in another line like that.

Found a nice blazer that was originally $80 for $54. Good Deal!!!

They are lucky they got 1star.Couldnt find help, went downstairs to get check out cause we couldnt find anyone. Seen 2 clerks leaning on the counter. We asked for help, they said they couldnt check us out we had to go back upstairs.Very lazy rude people.We asked to see a manager was told they had none just a supervisor one.Never go back there again.

Only 1 register open, and the explanation I was given, very rudely, was that it is state law due to coronavirus. I have never heard of a state law allowing only 1 register to be open, and I work retail! That reason doesnt even make sense, to have everyone crowd at 1 register instead of being spread out at the other 10 areas in the store!? If the customer service I got is reflective of the company, then I can see why Jcpenney is closing stores!

Dont shop here. They will steal your money and not give you the product that you have shipped to the store. No one will help you they stole my comforter set and refuse to give me a refund even though I have written proof that it was delivered to the store. Shop at Wal-Mart or Amazon but not here.

Always great value, a stop that should be on your shopping outings, full dept store with good product lines and prices. Usually better made and fitting clothes at bargain store prices or just above. You get what you pay for.

You can find some excellent buys here, try them out you will be surprised.

The young lady working customer service goes above and beyond, taking care of customers as top priority, checking them out when the main line gets long, and delivering to curbside pickup.

When Pennys has a sale, it is best sale in town for all clothes. Definitely a 4.5 rating. Clean organized store in mall.

I was in a pickle and needed my hair done as soon as possible. I stopped by the store on Monday and met Latona Coleman. She suggested that I come back on Tuesday and she would gladly take care of me. I must say that Latona did an awesome job on my hair. I was extremely pleased with the end results. She was professional yet personable. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would.

I love shopping at JCPENNEY! Theyre prices are reasonable and affordable, the store is very clean, the restrooms could use a little more attention, but overall it is a great place to shop. Most of the employees are very nice and willing to help you, but very lacking when it comes to checking out. Ive been shopping here for years and now I find myself having to run all over the store looking for a cashier. The store is clean, has a great quality of clothing, and Ive never had a problem returning anything.

Even with Christmas rush I was able to get help finding the items I went in there for so I didnt have to hunt. They had nice selection of gift items for men and women.

Nice place to shop... Helpful staff and good bit of variety. Price not bad either.

This department store is clean and carries lots of name brand clothing. The employees are very helpful. I would give it 5 stars except that the checkout lines are always long everytime I go in to buy something. This store has a large Sephoras inside,though, which is nice. They,also, have great sales!

Love shopping at JCPennys. Always able to find something I want. Staff mostly friendly but ladies dressing rooms....ladies department picked up and nice to use....Juniors department hard to find a clean room. Was in Juniors dressing room 30 to 45 minutes before store closed.

Department store w/great sales, reliable variety, selection, stock and nice people. Today, quality $32 shorts for $12 in 3.5, 5 & 7 lengths and about 20 styles and $4 plain white womens tees. Can find summer cotton and linen, whereas most of the malls hip and boutique shops are polyester & rayon. Great for foundations, casual to finer jewelry, and home items. One of only two full-service salons remaining in mall. Get a new do and outfit in one go. Noticed an adorable Hello Kitty bicycle, and 60% off patio, at back entrance.

It w is your regular department store. We went for shoes and ended up buying 2 pair. They have all Nikes and skechers 25% off. Great deal.

Although the store did not have many employees to assist customers, I did see many bargains.

I wish they had someone in jewerly to help fix the jewelry you buy from them instead of shipping it off.

DO NOT USE THE SALON!! I have been using JC Penny salon services for years, they were reasonably priced and did a consistent good job. This time however they ruined my hair. Im not too adventurous with my highlights and didnt think I was requesting anything too challenging, but the first stylist turned my roots orange! Next another stylist tried to fix it and my hair came out big bird yellow . By this point I was extremely upset, they has the nerve to try to get me to sign a release! I refused. The second stylist added a toner and made it look less bad. The stylists then tried to tell me that I asked to go to light, trying to shift the blame on me! The manager did not charge me, she gave me a free conditioner, and offered some free deep conditioning treatments, BUT I will NEVER step foot in that place again! 5 hours in that awful salon left me with a burned scalp and fried hair. Im in a wedding next week and I hope that I can get into a salon that actually knows what they are doing.

JcPenny is a store that I do love. I can always find something in there for myself and my kids. I dont think theyre that consistent with sales. Sometimes they have really awesome sales but I do realize they mark up the items before they mark them back down again 🙄 overall the store is pretty clean and easy to maneuver through. The old associates are sometimes unpleasant and the newbies dont know alot. Still love JCP tho
