Im so friggin lucky to find a place like this and got everything I needed for now. The owners very sweet and nice and plus, shes Taiwanese so I was able to speak some Chinese with her.I enjoyed everything they have in stock and the owner is always around and willing to help you with everything. She even helped me on how to put on boot gaiters. This store couldnt be more Missoula if it tried! It is wonderful. The customer service is the best. They are always super friendly and their products reflect the outdoor lifestyle of Missoula, MT. When you first walk into the Sports Exchange it looks like madness, but as you settle into your shopping experience you realize that all of the items are well kept and ready for use. This is one of my favorite places to shop. Thanks for keeping it weird Sports Exchange.

Great folks, great store, some deal. I just wish they were open more, or at least on some days after 5pm, or on Saturday afternoons. I like to go there but 9 times out of 10 it just does not fit a working persons schedule. I suppose its for the best I save money that way :(

Love this place! Lots of treasures to be found! Classic and modern camping and outdoor recreation gear galore. I have bought, sold, and traded goods from here and have always left feeling like I got a great deal.

Everyone was SO helpful as I navigated buying my first pair of skis. There’s so much to know and they answered all of my questions without making me feel embarrassed to be inexperienced. Adjusted my bindings and gave me a ton of tips to help me become a better skier. Can’t recommend them enough

The staff here is always friendly, knowledgeable and very aware of what they have in stock. I have never found the staff to not be pushy or hard sellers. They seem to sell by the philosophy of if it works for you buy it if not keep looking. Ive always found a wide selection of products to choose from. Prices usually seem to be reasonable. Selections can be seasonal so keep that in mind when shopping.

I pop in here all the time to see if they have anything I want as they get new stuff all the time. I regularly find great gear I need for a unbeatable price. The staff is incredibly great, they make you feel like you’re family!

I always check out this place first when Im looking for some outdoor gear. Ive always had a friendly and fun experience when Ive gone in here, under the previous ownership and the new. They have some good deals on lightly used hiking boots, clothing, and other equipment. If you cant afford to buy it new at REI (as many people cant) take a look here. They are a small shop and might not have what you need but its worth looking around.

Great gear selection, new and used, priced to move. The Sports Exchange is always my first choice for gear. It was great under the old management (I have been buying, selling, trading here for years) and is stellar under the new. Im in here a few times a week, and I always find something I need/want. I also sell and trade quite often, and every timeI get fair price, and/or even trade. So support the Sports Exchange, keep that money local..... Anything else would be uncivilized.J
