I cant say enough good things about this place and their staff. I went in with no knowledge of scooters but wanting to buy one as a surprise birthday gift. The staff was extremely patient (I made three separate visits!), helpful and knowledgeable. They were conscientious enough to keep the surprise by limiting information in their texts and voice messages - and they did everything in their power to make my wife feel welcome when the big reveal finally happened. Chris, in particular, was my go to guy. Thanks, Scooterville!
Could not have had a better experience! They were awesome, helpful, not at all intimidating. I talked to several dealers while trying to find my perfect scooter and Chris was the best! If you are ever thinking about a scooter, go here first!
Scooterville is the premier scooter shop in the area. Bob and his staff do a great job. I’ve been riding scooters and motorcycles for many years and would highly recommend this shop.
This place is awesome and friendly. When I first got my moped 12 years ago they tuned it up for me. Upgraded all the parts and every video or place I called said we cant help. Peter answered and simply answered my question and made me laugh in the process. Very knowledgeable and great service the 2 times I have used them. Id highly recommend this place!
I had my moped serviced/tuned up and was really satisfied with their service. The moped runs way better than it did before. Im thankful that we have Scooterville here in Minneapolis.
Thanks for servicing my old Yamaha scooter even though you don’t sell new Yamaha scooters. I trailered my scooter from western Wisconsin and will be back because of your fair and knowledgeable service department. They were able to diagnose and fix my scooter because of their extensive experience. I’ll call their rates cheap and their quality superb. Keepup the great service guys!
Excellent job restoring my old Zuma to good condition. Took care of a couple of other things along the way. Highly recommend!
I needed a shield for my 150 scooter Chinese made. They charged me about $80 for new and said I could return it if everything was in originalpackaging. I had my old one with me to compare. It fit perfectly and my son was able to install it in 45 minutes.WAY TO GO SCOOTERVILLE!
Great customer service!! Love ‘em.
Awesome place to go, And The whole crew is just awesome. I also cant Thank Jonathan for helping me and my Dad pick out a scooter. I will be there again to have my scooter serviced for the 1st time and of course, Many more!
Great and friendly group. I cant thank them enough for my first bike, and the Winter storage.Stop by, you never know what little treasure you might find.
Our Scooter didnt start when we were out and about today and we couldnt figure out what was wrong...even went so far as to schedule a tow but then I decided to call scooterville as a last resort and the man said try the kill switch ...it worked! Thank you for saving the day!😊
I’m new to scootering, and found a great deal on my scooter. Because I bought my scooter out of town I needed to find a reputable shop for maintenance in the cities. Scooterville turned out to be an excellent choice. I made an appointment for my first oil change, and while driving around the day before stopped in on the chance they could fit me in. Peter and Jason were super helpful, finished the oil change and inspection in no time, and answered all my questions. In fact, every employee I spoke with while I waited was friendly and helpful. Definitely a great local find!
The staff is amazing and very helpful. I was looking for a replacement part and they were able to help me quickly.
Great selection of new and used scooters and quite a few different brands and a good service department.
Very helpful and had what i needed
Had a great experience with the service side of the shop. Brought my 2010 Tomos moped in because it wasnt running and Scooterville fixed it right up. Peter and everyone working there were very professional and friendly. My moped is back up and running and the price to get it fixed was very reasonable.
They did a great job !!
Just bought my first scooter and every staff member I worked with was super kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They gave me a lesson and worked with me so that I was comfortable and confident riding it home that same day. They made everything so easy and fun, and the prices were spot on with what I was expecting.
These guys are serious about their scooters, and they want to help you fall in love with the perfect scooter for you! Great repair service, lots of knowledge, and never a hard sell.
Helpful people with good products
Great selection of Vespa scooters and helpful staff.
These guys know scooters - all types. Great showroom with very knowledgable salespeople and all kinds of inventory. Look, scooters are supposed to be FUN! And that light and happy atmosphere pervades this place.
Scooterville is an excellent shop dealing with most brands of road-going scooters and some small motorcycles. The staff is top-notch and helpful, and the service department is highly competent. The location makes getting there a bit of a puzzler due to one-way roads, but they carry everything a scooter rider could ever want.
Brought in a vintage PX150E for a rebuild. I couldnt be more pleased with the work. They dont work on vintage during the busy spring or summer, but they were very responsive regarding scheduling. All the work was explained clearly and I was given options without unnecessary up-selling. The rebuild was completed within the timeframe given, and under the estimated budget. Very pleased with how it runs.Great, friendly staff in my experience, too.
Very professional and helpful. Also, sell great scooters.
Purchased the 170i Buddy, pleasant experience. Great scooter. 10,000 miles, no problems
My wife and I can in right when they opened on Saturday, the salesperson was really not very attentive and did not want to spend much time with us even though they were pretty empty. We were ready to purchase and they couldnt even be bothered with telling us what the total cost would be. We left and drove up to Forest Lake and did purchase a new unit that day from folks who actually wanted to make a sale.
Fantastic quick service
I know winter is coming but this place got a low price for scooter
After my last visit to install new tires and a general checkup, my 9 year old buddy 50cc is running beautifully. Thanks repair staff, great work!Pete
They told me yes they can fix my scooter and then put me on hold for a very long time. I finally hung up and brought in my scooter for repair. They said they cannot fix that type of scooter. I will never waste my time going there for anything again.
Nice and friendly staff, only buy parts and accessories from them so I cannot comment on sales of motorcycles. Theyve been a pleasure to deal with in the past with fair pricing. People who I talk over the phone with are really energetic and helpful, in person it feels the same. I assume a majority of their business is from the UMN and for good reason as its the closest one to campus that, to my knowledge, has a good reputation.
I went to another store first, scooterville actually was the solution. Matt helped me replaced my battery and a helmet. They carry parts, accessories, clothing and more.
Contacted Scooterville to get the replacement cost on a rear tire for my scooter. Coleman H. responded back quickly with a fair price. I dropped in on my lunch hour to get the new tire and was in and out of the shop in under 15 minutes. Very friendly and prompt service.
Several years ago. I should have written this earlier. About a couple years ago. In early April, I brought in my (Genuine) 2008 Stella (manual 4 speed) to be serviced for her yearly checkup. I waited for one month for her to be completed. She wasnt totally fixed. A little minor thing but, it is still valid. The light beam was stuck in high beam. I am still waiting for the electronic start to come in. They told me. It was on back order.I paid the bill because I just wanted her home. I got the feeling. The Service Department mananger just to get her out of there make room.I rode her for about 1 month her clutch cable broke In my opinion, someone should have checked it to see if the cable was frayed or something.Every since Scooterville moved away from selling less scooters & moved towards selling more motorcycles. After several head mechanics changes, I get the feeling that they dont want to work on older (manual) scooters. On their website as of May 2019, they have manual 4 speed 2005 Atomic Stella. If you buy it, be careful to have it service by them. Several years ago, Genuine Motors no longer selling (or making) any Stella models.
Jonathan was so helpful. He explained everything I needed to know and even taught me how to ride the scooter with a few test drives before I left. Highly recommend Scooterville as the place to go if you’re buying a scooter in the area.
We bought a People 50 eight years ago from Bob at Scooterville. He is the nicest, most helpful guy. So glad we picked the scooter we did. Its my husbands main summer vehicle and gets GREAT mileage even now. Weve had it serviced several times at Scooterville without issue (though they are very busy so sometimes it takes a bit of time). We will definitely buy our next scooter from them.
Answering phones very rude
Scooterville is the best! The staff is genuinely interested in getting you on exactly the scooter that fits you! Ive bought 2 scooters from them. They are fairly priced, their service dept. is top notch and they have the vision to put you on the scooter thatll fit your lifestyle. Oh, and BTW...scooter life is THE BEST!!!!!
Went to Scooterville to look at scooters, (never been there before) Talked to Bob and bought 2 scooters. One for my wife and myself. Bob was excellent, answered all my questions.Had them delivered the next day on time. The gentlemen that delivered them explained everything about them and did not just unload them and run off, he explained EVERYTHING !I wish I could give them better than 5 stars. You just dont find service like this anymore. These Scooters have a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty that includes roadside assistance! On a scooter!Thank You to the folks at Scooterville for the best buying experience I have had for a long time, maybe The best ever.
Amazing experience from beginning to end. These folks know scooters! And their customer service is fantastic as well! Weve needed their help on multiple occasions and they have been great everytime! Thank you Scooterville!
I just bought a new Buddy 50cc scooter and my husband got a great scooter a few months ago. Both times, Jonathan and the rest of the staff were super easy to work with, patient and knowledgeable. Anyone interested in trying out a scooter or trading in for a newer one should hit up Scooterview. Awesome shop!
Husband and I bought 2 new roughhouse 50cc scooters. Owner and employees were fantastic!!! We absolutely love our scooters and get lots of smiles and looks from people as we are zipping around town.Highly recommend buying from Scooterville .George and Debbie👍👍
Very easy to work with and extremely quick turn around time for service. The staff was very helpful and answered all my questions. I defiantly recommend!
Scooterville is a tremendous!!Bob and Jonathan provide top tier customer service with a personal touch.Ive purchased numerous scooters over the past 5 years from Scooterville and have always came away totally satisfied. Whether Im in for sales or service I always feel at home when at your shop. Thanks again for making my experiences top tier!!
Great service and friendly, knowledgeable mechanics. Awesome overall, highly recommend this place!
Scooterville has been very helpful for all my service needs. There have been 2 occasions where my scooter has not wanted to start after a long winter. Each time they have walked me through how to get it started on the phone. If it did not start after those steps Coleman came to me and and helped me start it. He then gave me his phone number and told me whenever I have issues I can just call the number. Great customer service and I am so grateful for people like Coleman who can help people like me who are clueless when it comes to mechanics.
Went in for regular maintenance and was thoroughly riled. I was treated like I had no idea what was going on and was baited and switched by a man in a fedora. Would not recommend coming here unless you want to feel cheated. They did do what I needed, but at a price point that was not negotiated and with an air of confidence that would be rude to the weakest of heart. XO
Really nice and helpful folks. I showed up just to purchase a battery but my scooter had additional trouble right when I got there. They could have just put me in the shop schedule and told me to Uber home and come back the next week, but they just took care of things while I was there. I really, really appreciated that. Outside of my recent experience, the showroom is beautiful, chock full of great scooters and motorcycles, helmets and clothes. The helmet and jacket selection is a bit limited, especially in my XXL helmet size, but I appreciate that most of the space is set aside for bikes and such.
Excellent shop. Really wide variety of scooters on the sales floor. If you are in the market for scooter in the Twin Cities, you will not be sorry you looked here. I am sorry i didnt buy from them. But i went there for service on a scooter i bought from a Honda shop. The Honda shop quoted $190 in a week. The weeks wait turned out to be the Honda shops problem. The guy at Scooterville fixed the wheel the same day while i waited 20 minutes for $35.They are friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend them.
I have been dealing with Scooterville for over 10 years. They are honest, knowledgeable, and treat people like they would want to be treated. Jonathan and Bob are awesome salespeople and Neil is the best service guy in the twin cities. 5 stars that are all earned!
Very experienced and helpful staff. They are willing to problem solve and help for all sorts of situations. I would recommend them to anyone in the market for two wheel fun .
Good people good service.
I have owned scooters since 1999 and bought a new scooter from Scooterville in 2002. I primarily use it as a commuter. Even though I do not buy a lot of product (the scooter, a helmet and maybe a magazine every couple of months) they have always been friendly.I had a series of issues with my scooter last year. The clutch blew and was fixed promptly. Diagnosis of a strange engine issue took much longer (it ate a cab screw). When I dropped it off over the winter, they went through it and the shop fee was reasonable for a new head and valves.I had a clutch issue after 5,000 miles again, but the turn around on the repair was 2 days and I got charged less than an hour of labor with no parts cost (it was taken apart and cleaned).I have been mostly happy with the service. They are quicker and more thorough when you drop off the scooter off-season, instead of wanting service in May, when they are flooded with bikes to repair.
Great shop! Had a flat and the boys in the shop got me fixed up and back on my way. The go-to place for scooter sales and service.
Such a great place. So many places you go into and the people act like you’re putting them out. The very nice woman that works the counter showed me trunk cases for my motorcycle and she was very helpful because she’s also a motorcyclist. I’m still on the fence about getting one (probably will) and I promised I would buy from her and not the internet. I love doing business with humans that depend upon your business than an internet site.
We came to Scooterville this afternoon to buy a Moped for our 15 year old son. Being the ONLY PLACE in the Twin Cites that sells Moped’s that are MN State Legal (under 50cc’s), we were pleased to find a very nice selection to choose from.Jonathan, the man who helped us, was very knowledgeable and helped us to choose the perfect Moped for our son. We purchased a 2019 Genuine RoughHouse, the price was more than reasonable, accessories as well were appropriately fair. We were able to be in and out in 30 minutes, all paperwork done and they even loaded & strapped it down for us!Best customer service, best prices, all around great experience at Scooterville!Thank you for making our purchase so easy!Rochelle & Nick
Experience professional service and sales for scooters.
My girlfriend purchased a Buddy 50 from Scooterville. After the second day, the battery was completely dead. Scooterville came out and replaced the battery promptly. After two more weeks, the battery was again dead. It had only garnered 60 miles. They claimed their return policy was that if they couldnt fix it, it couldnt be returned. After they towed it in for free and examined it, they said they couldnt figure out what was wrong with it (although it still wouldnt start). They finally offerred to buy it back from us, but after only 60 miles with the battery dying (and it not being our fault), we felt they should have offered to buy it back from us right away and offered us a loaner. Since we rely on the Buddy for transportation, the customer service should have been better.09/16/12 Update: When Scooterville purchased back our scooter (as they were legally bound to), they did not pay back the money we paid to have the restrictor plate taken off. I asked if this was their store policy and they gave me no answer other than, thats the best they could do. It is disappointing that we paid to have better performance on a scooter that we could only drive for half of the time anyways.
I was in the market for a new pit bike and was about ready to pull the trigger on a Honda Grom elsewhere, then I ran across the Benelli TNT135. After a bit of research I decided it deserved a closer look and I quickly learned that Scooterville was the closest Benelli dealer. Better yet, they had two in stock. I gave them a ring and talked to Jonathan. I scheduled a visit and he had it waiting at the front of the showroom for me to check out. I liked what I saw and scheduled pickup for the following day. The whole process was quick, seamless and pressure free. Everyone seemed happy and enthusiastic to help, unlike the experience I had interacting with other dealers during my research process. All told, Id recommend Scooterville to anyone looking for a small displacement bike or scooter of any kind.
I needed to find out what was wrong with my scooter, so we called in to see if we could get an estimate of what was wrong and how much it would cost. We brought the scooter in and were assured we wouldnt be charged. They gave us an estimate first of how much it would cost to fix it based off of what is typically wrong with other scooters. We were assured they wouldnt charge us for these things since they hadnt looked at it yet. After they checked it out, they called us to let us know the cost, which was different from the original estimate. After a second call they also told us that buying a new part would be cheaper than having them work on it and changed the price they had given us from the first call, sowe decided to not have them do anything and just pick it up. Then they decided to charge us $49.99when we came to get it.
This place is awesome. Great selection, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Service center is quick and affordable.
Great service! Nice to know they have parts for my scooter Incase anything goes wrong. Great verity of prices.
We live in the country and still use our scooter because it saves on gas. The sales staff was helpful and courteous.
The people that work at Scooterville are some of the most nice and genuine people I have ever met. They gave me a terrific price on my Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer. They sell motorcycles as well as scooters.
Just picked up our scooters after being in for a tune up. No explanation of what was done only told us the total balance. Service guy brought them around front, parked them and said here you go, no explanation or asking us if we had questions etc. We left in rush hour traffic, tons of noise and rattling from my trunk. When I got home the bracket was so loose i could have lost the left trunk bracket if I had further to go. They may be busy but not making sure everything is put back together properly and no explanation on work that was done is very poor customer service. Even though we bought them here I will not bring them back for service. Not sure what has happened, they used to be very customer orientated, I am no longer a fan of Scooterville!
Knowledgeable staff, good selection of limited models. Prices seem competitive.
After a friend of mine was treated rudely by the salesman that sold her her scooter and reading the reviews here, I wont be taking my scooter to Scooterville. My money will be spent where Im not treated rudely. Id like to see under which circumstances someone had a good experience with Scooterville but there arent any positive reviews.
Stopped in to get the preliminary data before purchasing a scooter in a couple months. Friendly, knowledgeable, great ideas and no pushy-ness. Everything I hoped for!!
Nice selection of scooters and knowledgeable, friendly staff!
Lots of great machines, helpful staff too
These guys were there through thick and thin, they were knowledgeable, helpful, and understanding throughout a bad experience we had on craigslist. never felt like i was alone because of the guys at scooterville.
Friendly and knowledgeable sales and service departments. More concerned with the customer relationship and meeting your needs than any other scooter or motorcycle dealership Ive been to. Plus, the only place to talk Moto Guzzi!
I had these guys build me a quick little 67 Vespa Granturismo. They did a great shop and Im now getting my new scoot delivered to them so they can start the next project. A great bunch of guys with great service.
I have and 05 Stella that can be temperamental. I am no mechanic so I often go to youtube to find tips for keeping it roadworthy and found Bobs videos about general maintenance. Working on engines can be a tough and frustrating process but the videos made it easy. I dont live in Minnesota, but I reached out to Bob for some advice through email and he was incredibly helpful, understood my issue and explained how to address the problem in a way I could understand. It hard enough to find someone who understands these machines, and finding people who actually care and take time to provide excellent, kind service is even more rare. No money was exchanged between us, but I was treated as if I mattered. I cant recommend Scooterville enough!
These guys are the bomb 5 stars all the way around great service specialize in vintage scooters and the latest scooters in the industry.
Best selection of new and used scooters in Minnesota
Great place for scooters and gear.
Helpful staff. Hours are challenging for your standard 9-5er
Friendly and knowledgeable team of people
If you want to scooter this is definitely the place
Great prices and the staff is helpful and easy-to-work-with.
Jonathan was super helpful. We learned a ton.
The people there are VERY friendly and knowledgeable. I go there for all my scooter needs.
Great spot to get your moped fixed
The salesman are very informative and helpful
Went there to have them look over my 1970 Vespa that they worked on before put in storage and seen it was old and said I would have to bring it elsewhere...
Helpful and knowledgeable staff!
If youre looking for parts or service that an old scooter moped there is no other place in the metro area to go
Great deals, great people!

Great place to stop.
