Midtown Global Market is a great to experience various cultures. This place has a lot of stores and food options from different ethnicities. They also have live music on some days. The parking is always easy to get and is located very close to building. There are also some stores which serve alcohol.A great place for dates, hanging out with friends and family.A must visit place to experience diversity and cultures.
As frustrating as this place is Theres a really awesome little space here quit reverse not much you wont see in this market hot cooked food you can go shopping theres banks The DMV is in the basement for god sakes. Check it out parking is a little jacked tho
No bad they have food court, good place to spend sometimes with friends.
This is my first time a the Moroccan flavors 😋. This place gave me the feeling that I was in Morocco 🇲🇦 and thr chef and his wife are really friendly! you definitely should try their food and say hi to the chef and his wife because theyre really nice! also get the mint tea because it goes well with the food
Visited during a Weekday so most small businesses were closed. But visited a few small businesses. Microbrewery is located inside, all businesses were very friendly
Midtown global market is so fun to walk around, eat and listen to live music and dancing! It’s a good representation of cultures around the twin cities. The only thing that would push my review to five stars is a representation of afghani pizza! I wish football pizza from northeast Minneapolis could get a spot here! It’s the best pizza in the twin cities and the spices they use make it something special for anyone to try. We love the market!
Lots of options for lunch. We had Thai that was good. Tried bubble tea. It was very good.
We absolutely love this place. Spend the time and see all of what the vendors have to offer. Wonderful Moroccan rugs and leather goods. Many fashionable batik shirts and clothing. Cheeses, salami, hot foods from all over the world. Had the biggest and best bowl of pho, spring rolls. If you are in Minneapolis, dont miss this place. We will be back for a third time.
This place was recommended to me to be able to try a bunch of different cuisines and street style food. Unfortunately the person last visited pre-covid. This place seems to be an empty carcass of what it used to be. There is only a few restaurants mainly Spanish or asian style food. There is some vendors selling some items and a bigger Mediterranean market but for the most part pretty empty. I did hit up the Arepa place to try some venezuelan food and it was pretty damn good! I also found a vendor selling some maple syrup and honey. Picked up a quart of maple syrup for 20$ and it was really dark and tested good. The honey she had was really good looking and had some interesting varieties but there was no way I was paying 17$ for 18oz, that price is more absurd than Illinois honey. Overall, this place would be a hard pass knowing what I know now.
Visited recently, but its not the same. But what I will say, stumbled across SOUL to SOUL bbq restaurant. When I tell you that fried fish is the BOMB!!!...The fish was perfectly seasoned and fried. The fries were fresh cut, the collards are tender along with well seasoned and....and...still making my way through the menu!!!
Great place to be surrounded by great food, people and traditions.
Overall great experience! Went with the brisket and two sides which I thought was an adequate portion size for the price of $15. The brisket was just starting to get a little lukewarm when I dug in, but was still satisfactory (tender, flavorful and the hot barbecue sauce I requested with it was also tasty), and the sides were good as well - scratch made smoked mac and cheese and the soul corn both were hot, fresh and had lots of good flavor. Ill definitely be back!
A very cool place. Brewery, shops and fun food from all over.
I do security here and also shop here very family-orientated atmosphere very nice people absolutely love shopping here when Im not on duty
The Arepa bar food stall on the west side has some great yuca sticks. The pabellon criollo is also good.
Noise level if you are sensitive is too much, its like being in the gym during a round Robin of games indoorsAndys- the sweetest people and the fries exquisite. Their cheese burger is fresh made bun and patty, really great.Have a shake while you are there, you will be happy!
Our particular meals were a bit dry, but the entire atmosphere/experience was such I would recommend without hesitation.
Its a great place to stop when the whole group is hungry but no one can make up their minds on what sounds good. I great variety and fair prices.
This place is a hidden Gem in Minneapolis! Come here to try all the hidden food vendors that range from all over the world! If you love Flavor it has it for days
Meh. Its cool. Im from Philly, and its clear that this place wants to be a Reading Terminal Market, but is nowhere close to accomplishing that.Stars because there should be something for everyone. Minus a couple stars because weve gone there more than once for advertised events, and then got there to find nothing happening.Mapps coffee is great. Eastlake Brewery is great.
Loved this place! World of food and clothings from different parts of the world. Latino, Asian, African, or Scandinavian food waiting for you to be devoured. Camel burger at Safari restaurant was very good. It was the first time I have ever had camel burger and I wasn’t disappointed. I highly recommend. There are several halal restaurants. So if you want halal food that’s the place you go to!! There are lot of benches to sit down and enjoy your meal.
I love this place, I enjoy the exposer to the different cultures and my kids love it to.
Not everything was open, but what was open offered a lot of nice choices. We got sushi and arepas, and took them to East Lake Brewing to eat. Nice set up. Clean, airy, brightly lit space. Id love to see it on a weekend.
Amazing place! So many great shops and restaurants.👍
I love this place. Great food choices every day.
Had a late dinner and hung out until after 8:00 p.m. Food was good. Environmental cleaning person kept looking at us like she wanted us out of there asap.
It is a good place, you can find variety of food and souvenirs.
Was not overly impressed. May have been the day-Monday-but lots of the areas were not opened. Idea is OK, but probably a 1 time visit unless one of the shops has what you are looking for.
There is a really good market that has organic foods and even has vegan fed pork beef and chicken items. You can also use EBT.
Great place to go for your food and drink a good variety of food and drink .
A must stop! They have a little bit of everything and it all is good. I went in a group and we all order from different restaurants and then met in the middle seating area. Honestly you cant go wrong. Prices are good too!
There were 4 of us and we each wanted something differant to eat. This was the perfect place for that. There many different food booths.
First time i was there and it was pretty amazing. I will definitely go there again.
They are still figuring it out after Covid but the are open. Great variety of food options. They now have a beer stand in the south east corner
Good food. Great variety. I had Pho and Bubble Tea
Their awesome excellent restaurants in Midtown Global Market. Phams, the Venezuelan restaurant next door to Pams, and Soul to Soul are excellent places to eat and all the food is simple delicious.
We loved the arepa bar. The food was very fresh and delicious. All made from scratch. Her chimichurri and hot sauce is amazing! We loved the arepas, empanadas and the yuca.
Can here for some Safari food and they was close so me and my daughter ate Soul to Soul smokehouse and when I tell you everything we ate was on point from brisket to the pecan bourbon butter cake...we enjoy our experience there..
The old Sears tower and shopping hub, closed long ago. A perfect reuse mix of businesses and housing now are under the same roof. Parking on east and west sides. Check it out for a day and enjoy delicious meals, shopping of many different items. Family friendly.
There was a lot of shoes from and I was able to find what I was looking for relatively quickly I will definitely be coming back
Great variety of cuisines. I loved the bubble tea I ordered.
Very busy place here during covid-19. Looks like they need more cleaners also . The parking looks like it cost money so I just parked on the street in all considering I just wanted to eat and be on my way. Overall the vibe of place is very diverse and artsy which I like of course. Very spacious. Interesting place to check out if youve never been.
An EXCELLENT brewery is not saying enough about this place. Great Great beers and the staff is beyond helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend going here.
An interesting variety of ethnic foods from small local vendors.
Fun place wit diverse culture and food
Great place to buy lunch and sit down. Cafeteria style. Korean food,, Mexican,, Chinese,, soul food and middle eastern. Saw camel burgers on the menu. Interesting shops from around the world. You dont feel rushed. Parking lot has been safe and you pay on the way out.
Moroccan food, Mexican food, local craft brews. Nice waking stop.
Great place with diverse shops. Found some wonderful things to purchase.
Festive and Cool place! Eateries and shops all huddled together in a big high ceilinged place. Many of the shops from far and different locales boast handmade articles of clothing, decorations, and gifts and furniture/clever storage options. I had lunch at Moroccan eatery. The Lamb shank meal was tops, with meat so tender that it fell off the bone, tasty and tender with a traditional mix of fruits, nuts, couscous, rice and vegetables. De-lec-ta-ble!!!!Delicious food and an adventure all in one heated and air conditioned space. You can almost forget that its 20° outside.
Love the little shops. we particularly like Mapps coffee.
So many special shops!! I love the culture there.
Not accommodating for automobile travel, but a great reuse of a treasured landmark on a vibrant community! Great shopping.
I enjoyed browsing this location. They have so many different things and items from various countries can find.
Lots of different food options for lunch time youre sure to be satisfied.
Great market with many stores and restaurants. Very nice restaurants.
Variety of food vendors is amazing. Convenient parking.
Really cool place that my sister who’s a local had no idea about. Would definitely come here with a group of people who didn’t know what they wanted to eat.
Only 4 stars because not all of the stalls are up and working. But those that were open were great and all the customers were enjoying the market.
My first date...Had a wonderful time!👍🥂💖🥗🍔
Nice experience. Brewery, Indian, Mexican, Moroccan, African, Chinese and Japanese cuisines along with local bands performing also grocery shopping...
We need many more places like this throughout the world. Bring understanding and curiosity about other cultures PEACE ✌
Great place to find different ethnic foods. I like going here every now and then for a variety to choose from the food court is very unique and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something out of the norm.
I love the multi cultural shops they have. I bought some Henna.....Me and my girlfriends had alot of fun shopping there today
Very nice people very curious thanks
Lots of places to chose from! All very delicious. Parking was only $3 for 2 hours.
Food from all over the world, flavors and people are the best combination, you need to come and try every single place
I love this place so much and it was hard to see half the businesses closed due to covid. I hope to see it recover soon. Sending much love!
Amazing
Not like it used to be, but again - what is? It had promising signs of life. Stay away from this DMV, though.
Bought a dashiki. Great vendors I like it
Vibrant modern market a true must see
Come with friends and travel the tastes of world.
I love this place, many delicious food options along with places with beautiful dresses

If you want to experience the rich diverse culture of Minneapolis come here. You can’t go wrong with a freshly squeezed juice with a camel burger!
Wonderful space for good food and a warm and welcoming multicultural experience.
